L'appareil est exclusivement réservé à une utilisation dans un cadre domestique.
N'utilisez pas l'appareil pour des applications commerciales.
Étendue des fournitures
L'appareil est équipé de manière standard des composants suivants :

1) Sortir du carton toutes les pièces de l'appareil et le mode d'emploi.
2) Enlever tout le matériel d'emballage, les fi lms et les autocollants.
3) Nettoyer toutes les pièces de l'appareil comme indiqué au chapitre
«Nettoyage et entretien».

REMARQUE

Vérifi ez si la livraison est bien complète et ne présente aucun dommage apparent.
► En cas de livraison incomplète ou de dommages résultant d'un emballage défec-
tueux ou du transport, veuillez vous adresser à la hotline du service après-vente
(voir le chapitre Garantie et service).
Éliminer l'emballage
L'emballage protège l'appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du transport.
Les matériaux d'emballage ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de respect de l'environnement et de recyclage permettant une élimination écologique de ceux-ci.
Le recyclage de l'emballage en fi lière de revalorisation permet d'économiser des
matières premières et de réduire le volume de déchets. Veuillez éliminer les matériaux
d'emballage superfl us selon la réglementation locale.
REMARQUE
Si possible, conservez l'emballage d'origine pendant la période de garantie de

Consignes de sécurité
RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION
► Faites remplacer immédiatement les fi ches secteur ou les cordons d'alimenta-
tion endommagés par des techniciens spécialisés agréés ou par le service
clientèle, pour éviter tout risque.
► Ne jamais saisir l’appareil, le cordon ou la fi che avec des mains humides.
Risque d'électrocution.
► Ne pas tordre ni plier ni écraser le câble.
► Pour débrancher la fi che, prenez soin de toujours tirer sur la fi che elle-même
et pas sur le cordon d'alimentation.
► Raccordez l'appareil uniquement à une prise secteur installée en bonne et
due forme et facilement accessible. La tension secteur doit correspondre
aux indications fi gurant sur la plaque signalétique de l'appareil.
► N'utilisez pas l'appareil à proximité de la baignoire / de la douche ou d'un
lavabo rempli d'eau. La proximité de l'eau représente un danger, même
lorsque l'appareil est éteint.
► L'appareil est uniquement adapté pour l'usage en pièces sèches.
N'immergez jamais l'appareil dans de l'eau ou dans d'autres
liquides.

AVERTISSEMENT! RISQUE DE BLESSURE !
► Les enfants à partir de l'âge de 8 ans ou les personnes souff rant d'un
handicap physique ou psychomoteur ou encore les personnes souff rant
de défi ciences mentales ou d'un manque de connaissances et d'expérience, doivent toujours rester sous la surveillance d'un adulte s'ils utilisent
cet appareil, même si l'usage de l'appareil leur a été expliqué et si elles sont
conscientes des risques qui en découlent.
► Les enfants âgés de moins de 8 ans doivent être tenus hors de portée du
cordon d'alimentation.
► Ne pas laisser les enfants jouer avec l'appareil.
► De même, ne pas laisser un enfant eff ectuer un nettoyage ou une opération
d'entretien sans surveillance.
► Laissez d'abord l'appareil refroidir avant de le transporter.
► Disposer le cordon d'alimentation de telle manière que personne ne puisse
marcher ou trébucher dessus.
► Ne jamais toucher les plaques chauff antes en cours d'utilisation, car elles

► Ne pas utiliser de câble de rallonge. En cas d'urgence, la prise secteur doit
être rapidement accessible.
► Ne pas utiliser de minuterie externe ou de dispositif de commande à dis-
tance pour faire fonctionner l'appareil.

ATTENTION - RISQUE D'INCENDIE !

► En cours d'utilisation, ne laissez jamais l'appareil sans surveillance.
► Eviter toute présence de matériau infl ammable à proximité de l'appareil lorsqu'il
est en marche (chiff on, torchon, etc.).
► Si l'appareil doit rester inutilisé pour une longue période, le débrancher de
la prise secteur. L'appareil n'est réellement hors tension que si vous débranchez la fi che secteur de la prise.
Installation et mise en service
1) Installez l'appareil sur une surface stable, plane et résistante à la chaleur.
2) Branchez la fi che secteur dans une prise secteur.
3) Allumez l'appareil en amenant le bouton marche/arrêt 3 en position «I».
4) Mettez les deux plaques chauff antes 1/2 sur MAX et laissez chauff er celles-ci
sans casserole pendant env. 3 minutes.
Il peut en résulter une légère fumée, étant donné que la couche de protection
appliquée brûle. Assurez une ventilation suffi sante. Ouvrez par exemple une
fenêtre.
Opération
REMARQUE
Utilisez un récipient de cuisson à fond plat et droit pour une meilleure conduction
►
de la chaleur.
► Si possible, utilisez le récipient de cuisson adapté à la taille de la plaque de
cuisson.
1) Posez la casserole remplie sur la plaque chauff aunt 1/2 désirée.
2) Allumez l'appareil en amenant le commutateur marche/arrêt 3 en position «I».
3) Tournez le thermostat respectif 4/7 sur la position désirée:
▯ 0 - 4: cuisson lente
▯ 4 - MAX: cuisson rapide
Le voyant de contrôle respectif
4) Lorsque la cuisson est terminée, mettez à nouveau le thermostat 4/7 sur MIN.
Le voyant de contrôle 5/6 s'éteint.
5) Mettez le commutateur marche/arrêt 3 sur «O».
Sortez la fi che secteur de la prise secteur lorsque vous n'utilisez pas l'appareil pendant une période prolongée.

Nettoyage et entretien
RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION
Avant chaque nettoyage, n'oubliez pas de retirer la fi che secteur de la prise secteur.

N'immergez jamais l'appareil dans de l'eau ou dans d'autres liquides.

► Laissez l'appareil refroidir complètement avant de le nettoyer!
ATTENTION - DÉGÂTS MATÉRIELS !
N'utilisez pas de détergents agressifs, chimiques ou corrosifs pour nettoyer l'appareil!

Il peut en résulter des dommages sur l'appareil.
■ Essuyez l'appareil avec un chiff on humide. En présence de taches tenaces, appliquez
un peu de produit vaisselle doux.
Assurez-vous de retirer ensuite tous les résidus de produit vaisselle avec un chiff on
humide.
■ Avant de le réutiliser, attendez que l'appareil soit à nouveau complètement sec.
Conservation
■ Conservez l'appareil à un endroit sec et exempt de poussière.

Mise au rebut
L'appareil ne doit en aucun cas être jeté avec les ordures ménagères
normales. Ce produit est assujetti à la directive européenne
2012/19/EU (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Éliminez l'appareil par l'intermédiaire d'une entreprise de traitement des déchets autorisée ou via le service de recyclage de votre commune. Respectez la réglementation en
vigueur. En cas de doute, prenez contact avec votre centre de recyclage.
Garantie et service
Cet appareil bénéfi cie de 3 ans de garantie à compter de la date d’achat. L’appareil a
été fabriqué avec soin et consciencieusement contrôlé avant sa distribution.
Veuillez conserver le ticket de caisse en guise de preuve d’achat. Dans le cas où la
garantie s’applique, veuillez appeler le service après-vente compétent. Cette condition
doit être respectée pour assurer l’expédition gratuite de votre marchandise.
REMARQUE
Cette garantie concerne uniquement les vices de fabrication et ne couvre pas

les dommages de transport, les pièces d’usure ou les dommages subis par des
éléments fragiles, par ex. le commutateur ou les accus.
Ce matériel est exclusivement destiné à un usage privé et non commercial. La garantie
est annulée en cas d’utilisation incorrecte et inappropriée, d’utilisation brutale et en cas
d’intervention qui n’aurait pas été réalisée par un centre de service après-vente agréé.
Cette garantie ne constitue pas une restriction de vos droits légaux. La période sous
garantie n’est pas prolongée par la garantie du fabricant. Ceci vaut également pour les
pièces remplacées et réparées.
Tous dommages et défauts éventuellement déjà présents à l’achat doivent être notifi és
immédiatement après le déballage, au plus tard deux jours après la date d’achat.
Toutes réparations eff ectuées après la période sous garantie sont payantes.

Dieses Gerät dient ausschließlich dem Erhitzen von Lebensmitteln.
Das Gerät ist ausschließlich für die Benutzung in privaten Haushalten bestimmt. Benut-

Lieferumfang
Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

1) Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem
Karton.
2) Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial, sowie Folien und Aufkleber.
3) Reinigen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes wie im Kapitel „Reinigung und Pfl ege“
beschrieben.

HINWEIS
Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.

► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter Ver-
packung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline (siehe
Kapitel Garantie und Service).
Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten
ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoff e und verringert
das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien
gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort von autorisier-
tem Fachpersonal oder dem Kunden-service austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Fassen Sie Gerät, Netzkabel und -stecker nie mit nassen Händen an. Es
besteht sonst die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlags.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht.
► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, ziehen
Sie nicht am Kabel selbst.
► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschrifts mäßig installierte und gut
erreichbare Netzsteckdose an. Die Netzspannung muss mit den Angaben
auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes übereinstimmen.
► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe der Badewanne / Dusche oder
über einem mit Wasser gefüllten Waschbecken. Nähe von Wasser stellt
eine Gefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.
► Das Gerät ist nur für die Verwendung in trockenen Räumen geeignet.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.

► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie von Perso-

► Wenn Sie das Gerät über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht nutzen, müssen
Sie es vom Stromnetz trennen. Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der
Netzsteckdose ziehen, ist das Gerät vollständig stromfrei.
Aufstellen und Inbetriebnahme
1) Stellen sie das Gerät auf eine stabile, ebene und hitzebeständige Oberfl äche.
2) Verbinden Sie den Netzstecker mit einer Netzsteckdose.
3) Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter 3 in die Stellung
„I“ bringen.
4) Stellen Sie beide Kochplatten 1/2 auf MAX und lassen Sie diese ca. 3 Minu-
ten ohne Topf aufheizen.
Hierbei kann es zu leichter Rauchentwicklung kommen, da die aufgetragene
Schutzschicht einbrennt. Sorgen Sie für ausreichende Belüftung. Öff nen Sie zum
Beispiel ein Fenster.
Bedienen
Die jeweilige Kontrollleuchte
Wenn Sie die das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus
der Netzsteckdose.

Verwenden Sie Kochgeschirr mit fl achen, geraden Böden zur besseren Wärmeleitung.

► Benutzen Sie möglichst zur Größe der Kochplatte passendes Kochgeschirr.
1) Stellen Sie den gefüllten Topf auf die gewünschte Kochplatte 1/2.
2) Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter 3 in die Stellung
„I“ bringen.
3) Drehen Sie das jeweilige Thermostat 4/7 auf die gewünschte Einstellung:
▯ 0 - 4: langsam kochen
▯ 4 - MAX: schnell kochen

4) Wenn der Kochvorgang beendet ist, stellen Sie das Thermostat 4/7 wieder auf

Disposal of packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging materials
have been selected in accordance with their environmental friendliness and disposal
attributes, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and reduces
the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer
needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables to be
replaced at once by qualifi ed technicians or our Customer Service Depart-

► Never hold the appliance, power cable or power plug with wet hands.
There is the risk of receiving an electric shock.
► Do not fold or crush the power cable.
► To disconnect, always remove the power plug itself from the mains power
socket, do not pull on the power cable.
► The appliance must only be connected to a correctly installed and easily
accessible mains power socket. Ensure that the rating of the local power
supply corresponds with the details on the rating plate of the appliance.
► Do not use the appliance in the close vicinity of a bathtub/shower or a
sink fi lled with water. The proximity of moisture presents a danger even
when the appliance is switched off .
► The appliance is suitable for use only in dry areas.

► This appliance may be used by children aged 8 or over and by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been
told how to use of the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks.
► Children younger than 8 years of age must be kept away from the appli-
ance and the power cable.
► Children must not play with the appliance.
► Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be carried out by children
unless they are supervised.
► After use, allow the appliance to cool down before transporting it.
► Route the power cable in such a way that no one can tread on or trip over it.
► Never touch the cooking plates during use as these become very hot.
► Do not use extension cables. The plug must be quickly accessible in an
emergency.
► Do not use an external timing switch or a separate remote control system to
operate the appliance.

CAUTION - RISK OF FIRE!
► Never leave the appliance unattended while it is being used.
► When the appliance is in use ensure that there are no easily infl ammable
materials close to it (e.g. dishcloths, oven cloths etc.).

► If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period, you must
disconnect it from the power source. The appliance is only completely without current when the power plug has been pulled out of the socket.
Setting up and connecting
1) Place the appliance on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface.
2) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
3) Switch the appliance on by switching the On/Off switch 3 to the position "I".
4) Switch both cooking plates 1/2 to MAX and allow these to heat up for around
3 minutes without a saucepan.
This can cause slight smoke development since the protective coating which has
been applied will burn in. Ensure there is suffi cient ventilation. For example, open
a window.
Operation
NOTE
► Use cooking utensils with fl at, even bases for better thermal transfer.
► If possible, use cooking utensils which match the cooking plate sizes.
1) Place the fi lled saucepan on the required cooking plate 1/2.
2) Switch the appliance on by sliding the On/Off switch 3 to the position "I".
3) Turn the relevant thermostat 4/7 to the required setting:
▯ 0 - 4: slow cooking
▯ 4 - MAX: fast cooking
The relevant indicator lamp
illuminates.
4) Once the cooking process has fi nished, adjust thermostat 4/7 back to MIN.
The indicator lamp 5/6 goes out.
5) Turn the On/Off switch 3 to "O".
If you do not intend to use the appliance for an extended period, remove the plug from
the power socket.

can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.
NOTICE
The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, but not

for transport damage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g.
buttons or batteries.
This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commercial use. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and improper handling, use of force and internal
tampering not carried out by our authorised service branch.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty. The warranty period
is not extended by repairs made under the warranty. This applies also to replaced and

Damages and defects extant at the time of purchase must be reported immediately
after unpacking, resp. no later than two days after the date of purchase.
