Information about these operating instructions

Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.
You have selected a high-quality product. The operating instructions are part

of this product. They contain important information about safety, usage and
disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all operating
and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and for the range of
applications specified. Please also pass these operating instructions on to any
future owner.

Intended use

This appliance is only intended for the dry ironing or steam ironing of all types of
clothing, curtains and fabrics (including hanging). The appliance is not intended
for any other purpose, nor for use beyond the scope described. The appliance is
not intended for use in commercial or industrial environments.

The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by failure to
observe these instructions, improper use or repairs, unauthorised modifications
or the use of unapproved replacement parts. The user bears sole liability.

Safety information

The appliance complies with statutory safety regulations.
Improper use may result in personal injury and property
damage.
To ensure safe operation of the appliance, follow the safety
guidelines set out below:

■ The appliance may not be used if it has fallen down, if it

shows visible damage or is leaking.

■ Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be

replaced as soon as possible by a qualified technician or
by our Customer Service Department to avoid any risk of
injury.

■ All repairs must be carried out by authorised specialist

workshops or by the Customer Service department.
Improper repairs may put the user at risk. They will also
invalidate any warranty claims.

■ Repairs to the appliance during the warranty period may

only be carried out by a customer service department
authorised by the manufacturer. Otherwise, no warranty
claims will be held for any subsequent damages.

Defective components must always be replaced with original

replacement parts. Compliance with safety requirements
can only be guaranteed if original replacement parts are
used.

■ This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or

more and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge
if they are supervised, or have been instructed in the safe
use of the appliance and have understood the potential
risks. Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by
children unless they are supervised.

■ When it is switched on or cooling down, the appliance and

its power cable must be kept out of the reach of children
who are younger than 8 years old.

■ Do not allow children to use the appliance as a toy.

■ Do not place any objects on the appliance, especially not

on the connecting hose between the base station and the
iron.

■ Do not operate or place the appliance close to an open

flame (e.g. candles).

RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!

► The appliance should only be connected to correctly in-

stalled and earthed mains power sockets. Ensure that the rat­ing for your local power supply corresponds with the details
on the rating plate of the appliance.

► Arrange for customer service to repair or replace connecting

cables and/or appliances that are not functioning properly
or have been damaged.

► Stop using the appliance if the anti-kink protection on the

power cable is damaged!

► Never immerse the appliance in water. Wipe it only with a

slightly damp cloth.

► Do not expose the appliance to rain, and never use it in a

humid or wet environment.

► Always hold the plug when handling the power cable and

never pull on the cable itself.

► Never touch the power cable or the plug with wet hands.
► Do not place the appliance itself or furniture etc. on the

power cable and ensure that it is not jammed.

► Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet or moist

during operation.

► Do not open the appliance housing or attempt to repair or

modify the appliance. If the housing is opened or improper
modifications are made, you run the risk of receiving a
potentially fatal electric shock and the warranty will be
void.

► Protect the appliance from water droplets or spray. Do not

place any vessels containing liquid (e.g. flower vases) on or
near the appliance.

RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!

► Always pull the plug out of the power socket after completing

ironing and before cleaning the appliance.

► You must always pull the plug out of the power socket before

filling the water tank with water.

RISK OF SCALDING OR BURNING!

Caution, hot surface!

► While the iron is turned on and a few minutes after the power

is turned off, the sole of the iron remains very hot. Never
touch the sole of the iron!

► When the iron is hot, hold it only by the handle .
► Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not

play with the appliance.

► Never place your hands in the steam spray or on the hot

metal parts.

► Do not aim the steam jet at people or animals!
► Never iron or steam clothes or other fabrics while they are

being worn or held by others.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► Always put the iron on the stand of the base station. Pull the

plug from the mains socket if you take a break from ironing.

CAUTION PROPERTY DAMAGE

► Never leave the appliance unattended while it is connected

to the mains power supply.

► Do not use carbonated water in the appliance.
► Do not operate the appliance without water, otherwise the

pump could burn out.

► Ensure that neither the power cable or the connection hose

come into contact with the hot sole of the iron.

► Do not scratch the sole of the iron. Avoid contact between

the sole of the iron and metal parts such as buttons or zips.

► Operate the appliance only on a stable and level working

surface.

Setting up and connecting

Package contents and transport inspection

The appliance is supplied with the following components as a standard:

● Steam Generator Iron

● Velcro tape for fastening the power cable

● Operating instructions

NOTE

► Check the package for completeness and signs of visible damage.
► If the delivery is incomplete or damage has occurred as a result of defec-

tive packaging or during transport, contact the Service hotline (see section
Service).

Unpacking

WARNING

Risk of suffocation!

► Do not allow children to play with packaging materials.

There is a risk of suffocation.

♦ Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the

box.

♦ Remove all packaging material.

Requirements for the set-up location

The surface on which you set up the base station q must be stable, level and
heat resistant.

Transport

Use the carrying handle 8 to transport the appliance.

WARNING

Risk of injury!

► Do not transport the appliance while it is in use. Allow the appliance to

cool down completely before moving it.

► Transport the appliance carefully and try to avoid swinging it excessively.

The iron could fall down.

NOTE

► Do not tip or swivel the appliance when the water tank 0 is full.

Otherwise, water could drip from the filler opening r.

♦ Fold the carrying handle 8 upwards until it audibly engages.

The carrying handle 8 is then fixed in this position

.

♦ When you have finished using the carrying handle 8, hold down the

button1 and then push the carrying handle 8 back downwards.

Handling and operation

WARNING

Risk of injury!

► While the iron is turned on and a few minutes after the power is turned off,

the sole of the iron 6 remains very hot. Never touch the sole of the iron 6.

► Transport the appliance carefully and try to avoid swinging it excessively.

The iron could fall down.

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► If the clothing care instructions forbid ironing, (

item may not be ironed. Ignoring this warning could lead to permanent
damage to the clothing item.
Always note the care instructions in your clothes and comply with them.

Filling the water tank

NOTE

Use only tap water or distilled water.
If the mains water in your location is rated as hard, it is recommended that you

mix the mains water with some distilled water. Otherwise limescale deposits
can adversely affect the appliance functions.

Mix the tap water with distilled water as described in the table below:

Do not add water with any additives (such as starch, perfume, softeners or
other chemicals) to the water tank 0. These could damage the appliance as
residues can form in the steam chamber. The residues could contaminate the
clothing if they come out of the steam outlets.

♦ Pull the water tank 0 by the grip 9 out of the base station q.
♦ Fill the water tank 0 with tap water via the filler opening r.

Do not fill above the MAX marking in the water tank 0.

♦ Push the water tank 0 back into the base station q until it clicks into place.

NOTE

► Do not tip or swivel the appliance when the water tank 0 is full.

Otherwise, water could drip from the filler opening r.

Before first use

♦ Clean the sole of the iron 6 using a slightly moist cloth.
♦ To remove any production residues, iron several times over an old, clean

cloth. Press the steam button 5 a few times.

Ironing without steam

NOTE

Always set the temperature control 4 to the lowest level (min) before switching
the appliance on. The symbols on the temperature control 4 correspond to
the following settings:

Steam ironing

♦ Fill the water tank 0 with water if necessary.
♦ Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
♦ Set the On/Off switch w to the position "1" to switch the appliance on. The

integrated control lamp in the On/Off switch w and the heat-up indicator

lamp 3 light up, the "MAX" button z flashes.

♦ Turn the temperature control 4 to set the required ironing temperature. The

temperature control 4 must be set within the

♦ While you are ironing, you can now press and hold the steam button 5 to

continuously spray steam onto the items being ironed from the sole of the

iron 6. Release the steam button5 to stop producing steam.

NOTE

When you press the steam button 5, it can take a few seconds until steam
comes out of the sole of the iron 6.

♦ Put the iron down on the stand 7 on the base station q after ironing.

Set the temperature control 4 to "min".

♦ Set the On/Off switch w to the position "0" to switch the appliance off. The

integrated control lamp in the On/Off switch w and the steam control lamp

"MAX" z or "ECO" t go out.

♦ Pull the plug out of the mains socket.

Vertical steam ironing

♦ Hang the fabric to be ironed on a clothes hanger which is hung against a

heat-resistant surface.

♦ Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
♦ Set the On/Off switch w to the position "1" to switch the appliance on. The

integrated control lamp in the On/Off switch w and the heat-up indicator

lamp 3 light up, the "MAX" button z flashes.

♦ Turn the temperature control 4 to set the required ironing temperature. The

temperature control 4 must be set within the

♦ Release the steam button 5 to stop the appliance producing steam.

♦ Put the iron down on the stand 7 on the base station q after ironing.

Set the temperature control 4 to "min".

♦ Set the On/Off switch w to the position "0" to switch the appliance off. The

integrated control lamp in the On/Off switch w and the steam control lamp

"MAX" z or "ECO" t go out.

♦ Pull the plug out of the mains socket.

Refilling with water

You can refill the appliance with water while it is switched on.

♦ Put the iron down on the stand 7 on the base station q.
♦ Refill the water as described in the section "Filling the water tank".

Cleaning and maintenance

WARNING!

Risk of injury!

► Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the plug from the mains power

socket!

► Allow the appliance to cool down completely if necessary.
► Never immerse the appliance in water to clean it.

CAUTION

Damage to the appliance!

► To avoid irreparable damage to the appliance, ensure that no moisture can

penetrate the appliance during cleaning.

► Do not use aggressive scouring cleaners or solvents, or a wire brush or

other abrasive objects to clean the surfaces.

Self-cleaning function

♦ Fill the water tank 0 with water if necessary.
♦ If the appliance is switched on, set the temperature control 4 to "MAX" and

wait until the appliance has heated up.

♦ Hold the iron horizontally over a suitable container or sink.
♦ Press the "Self clean" button i for about 5 seconds. The self-cleaning

process starts and the "Self clean" button i flashes. Steam flows from

the steam exit holes in the sole of the iron 6. Any impurities that may be

present are flushed out.

♦ As soon as the self-cleaning process is complete (after about 80 seconds),

the "Self clean" buttoni stops flashing.

Replacing the limescale filter

After pressing the steam button 5 for a total of around 11 hours, it is time to
replace the limescale filter e.

The appliance will notify you when the time comes: As soon as the "Anti calc"
button u flashes, you need to change the limescale filter e.
Proceed as follows:

♦ Set the On/Off switch w to the position "0" to switch the appliance off.
♦ Pull the water tank 0 by the grip 9 out of the base station q.
♦ Pull the limescale filter e upwards out of the limescale filter shaft.
♦ Place the new limescale filter e in the limescale filter shaft and press it

down until it is firmly in place.

♦ Push the water tank 0 back into the base station q until it clicks into place.
♦ Set the On/Off switch w to the position "1" to switch the appliance on.
♦ Press the "Anti calc" button u. The "Anti calc" button u goes out.

You have now completed replacement of the limescale filter e.

NOTE

► After replacing the limescale filter e, it takes about 90 seconds until steam

starts coming out of the sole of the iron 6 again the next time you use the
appliance.

NOTES

Note the following when handling the limescale filter e:

Not suitable for consumption/drinking!

Keep the limescale filter e out of the reach of children.

Store the spare limescale filter in a cool, dry location.

If the appliance is used regularly, it is advisable to always have a replacement
limescale filter available. This means that you can replace the limescale filter
e immediately as soon as the "Anti calc" button u lights up.

You can order new limescale filters e from our service department (see
section Ordering replacement parts).

Cleaning the appliance

♦ Remove the power plug from the mains power socket if the appliance is

plugged in.

♦ If necessary, allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it.
♦ Clean the surfaces of the iron and the base station q with a soft, damp

cloth only.

♦ Clean the sole of the iron 6 with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure that the sole of

the iron 6 is not scratched.

♦ Pour out the residual water in the water tank 0:

– Pull the water tank 0 out of the base station q and tip the remaining

water into the wash basin.

– Push the water tank 0 back into the base station q until it clicks into

place.

♦ The appliance must be completely dry before further use.

Troubleshooting

Storage

■ Clean the appliance as described in the section "Cleaning and maintenance".

■ Fold the connecting hose 2 in the middle and push it into the recess in the

appliance:

■ Store the appliance in a dry and clean location.

Disposal

Disposal of the appliance

Never dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Dispose of the appliance via an approved disposal company or your municipal
waste facility. Please observe the currently applicable regulations.
Please contact your local waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt.

Your local community or municipal authorities can provide information on how to

dispose of the product.

Disposal of packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The pack-

aging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease
of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.

Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. Note the
labelling on the packaging and separate the packaging material components
for disposal if necessary.
The packaging material is labelled with abbreviations (a) and
numbers (b) with the following meanings:

1–7: plastics,
20–22: paper and cardboard,
80–98: composites

NOTE

► If possible, keep the original packaging during the warranty period so

that the appliance can be properly packed for returning in the event
of a warranty claim.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product

has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights
are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.

Warranty conditions

The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep
your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of
purchase.

If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion.
This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance
and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault
and its time of occurrence.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or
replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the be­ginning of a new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty.
This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects
present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty

This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not
extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as
switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.

The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used
or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions
that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against
must be avoided.

This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of
our authorised Service centres.

Warranty claim procedure

To ensure quick processing of your case, please observe the following instructions:

■ Please have the till receipt and the item number (e.g. IAN 12345) available

as proof of purchase.

■ You will find the item number on the type plate, an engraving on the front

page of the instructions (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of
the appliance.

■ If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service department

listed either by telephone or by e-mail.

■ You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address

that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase
(till receipt) and information about what the defect is and when it occurred.

Εισαγωγή

Πληροφορίες για τις παρούσες οδηγίες χρήσης

Συγχαρητήρια για την αγορά της νέας σας συσκευής.
Το προϊόν που αποκτήσατε είναι ένα προϊόν υψηλής ποιότητας. Οι οδηγίες

χρήσης αποτελούν τμήμα αυτού του προϊόντος. Περιλαμβάνουν σημαντικές
υποδείξεις για την ασφάλεια, τη χρήση και την απόρριψη. Πριν από τη χρήση
του προϊόντος, εξοικειωθείτε με όλες τις υποδείξεις χειρισμού και ασφάλειας.
Χρησιμοποιείτε το προϊόν αποκλειστικά όπως περιγράφεται και για τους αναφε­ρόμενους τομείς χρήσης. Παραδώστε όλα τα έγγραφα σε περίπτωση παράδο­σης του προϊόντος σε τρίτους.

Προβλεπόμενη χρήση

Η παρούσα συσκευή προορίζεται μόνο για το στεγνό σιδέρωμα ή το σιδέρωμα
με ατμό παντός τύπου ρουχισμού, κουρτινών και υφασμάτων (ακόμη και αυτών
που κρέμονται). Μία άλλη ή διαφορετική χρήση από τα ανωτέρω αναφερόμενα
ισχύει ως μη σύμφωνη με τους κανονισμούς. Η συσκευή δεν προορίζεται για
χρήση σε βιομηχανικούς ή εργοστασιακούς χώρους.

Απαιτήσεις οποιουδήποτε είδους λόγω ζημιών από μη σύμφωνη με τους κανο­νισμούς χρήση, από ακατάλληλες επισκευές, μη επιτρεπόμενες διεξαχθείσες
τροποποιήσεις ή από χρήση μη εγκεκριμένων ανταλλακτικών, αποκλείονται. Την
ευθύνη φέρει αποκλειστικά ο χρήστης.

Υποδείξεις προειδοποίησης

Στις παρούσες οδηγίες χρήσης χρησιμοποιούνται οι εξής υποδείξεις προειδο­ποίησης:

Υποδείξεις ασφαλείας

Αυτή η συσκευή ανταποκρίνεται στους προδιαγεγραμμέ­νους κανόνες ασφαλείας. Μία μη σύμφωνη με τους κανο­νισμούς χρήση μπορεί να οδηγήσει σε σωματικές βλάβες
και υλικές ζημιές.
Τηρείτε τις κάτωθι υποδείξεις ασφαλείας για έναν ασφαλή
χειρισμό της συσκευής:

■ Η συσκευή δεν επιτρέπεται να χρησιμοποιείται σε περίπτω-

ση που έχει πέσει κάτω, παρουσιάζει ορατές φθορές ή
διαρροή.

■ Τα βύσματα ή τα καλώδια που έχουν υποστεί ζημιά πρέπει

να αντικαθίστανται άμεσα από εξουσιοδοτημένο εξειδικευ­μένο προσωπικό ή από το τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης πελατών,
ώστε να αποφεύγονται τυχόν κίνδυνοι.

■

Επισκευές στη συσκευή επιτρέπεται να πραγματοποιούνται
μόνο από εξουσιοδοτημένα και εξειδικευμένα συνεργεία ή
από το τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης πελατών. Σε περίπτωση ακα­τάλληλων επισκευών, ενδέχεται να προκληθούν κίνδυνοι
για το χρήστη. Επίσης, ακυρώνεται η αξίωση εγγύησης.

■ Επισκευή της συσκευής κατά το χρόνο της εγγύησης

επιτρέπεται να γίνεται μόνο από ένα εξουσιοδοτημένο από
τον κατασκευαστή τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης πελατών, αλλιώς
δεν ισχύει η αξίωση εγγύησης σε επακόλουθες φθορές.

■ Τα ελαττωματικά εξαρτήματα επιτρέπεται να αντικαθί-

στανται μόνο με γνήσια ανταλλακτικά. Μόνο με αυτά τα
ανταλλακτικά εξασφαλίζεται η εκπλήρωση των απαιτήσεων
ασφαλείας.

■ Αυτή η συσκευή μπορεί να χρησιμοποιείται από παιδιά

άνω των 8 ετών και από άτομα με μειωμένες φυσικές,
αισθητηριακές ή νοητικές δυνατότητες ή με έλλειψη εμπει­ρίας και/ή γνώσεων, εφόσον επιτηρούνται ή έχουν εκπαι­δευτεί αναφορικά με την ασφαλή χρήση της συσκευής και
έχουν κατανοήσει τους τυχόν επακόλουθους κινδύνους.
Τα παιδιά δεν επιτρέπεται να παίζουν με τη συσκευή. Ο
καθαρισμός και η συντήρηση χρήστη δεν επιτρέπεται να
διεξάγονται από παιδιά, χωρίς επιτήρηση.

■ Η συσκευή και το καλώδιο σύνδεσής της πρέπει, κατά την

ενεργοποίηση ή το κρύωμα, να βρίσκονται εκτός εμβέλειας
παιδιών μικρότερων των 8 ετών.

■ Τα παιδιά δεν επιτρέπεται να παίζουν με τη συσκευή.

■ Μην τοποθετείτε αντικείμενα επάνω στη συσκευή, και κυ-

ρίως όχι επάνω στον εύκαμπτο σωλήνα σύνδεσης μεταξύ
του σταθμού βάσης και του σίδερου.

■ Μη λειτουργείτε τη συσκευή κοντά σε ανοιχτές εστίες φω-

τιάς (π.χ. κεριά).

► Συνδέετε τη συσκευή μόνο σε μια σύμφωνα με τις προδια-

γραφές εγκατεστημένη και γειωμένη πρίζα. Η τάση δικτύου
πρέπει να συμφωνεί με τα στοιχεία στην πινακίδα τύπου της
συσκευής.

► Καλώδια σύνδεσης ή συσκευές που δεν λειτουργούν άψογα

ή παρουσιάζουν βλάβη πρέπει να επισκευάζονται ή να αντι­καθίστανται άμεσα από το τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης πελατών.

► Μη συνεχίζετε τη χρήση της συσκευής, εάν η προστασία

συστροφής του καλωδίου έχει φθαρεί!

► Ποτέ μη βυθίζετε τη συσκευή σε νερό. Σκουπίζετέ τη μόνο με

ένα ελαφρώς νωπό πανί.

► Μην εκθέτετε τη συσκευή στη βροχή και ποτέ μην τη χρησι-

μοποιείτε σε υγρό ή βρεγμένο περιβάλλον.

► Πιάνετε πάντα το καλώδιο δικτύου από το βύσμα δικτύου

και μην τραβάτε το ίδιο το καλώδιο.

► Ποτέ μην πιάνετε το καλώδιο ή το βύσμα με βρεγμένα χέρια.
► Μην τοποθετείτε ούτε τη συσκευή, ούτε και έπιπλα ή παρό-

μοια αντικείμενα επάνω στο καλώδιο δικτύου και προσέχετε
ώστε αυτό να μη μαγκώνει πουθενά.

► Προσέχετε ώστε το καλώδιο σύνδεσης να μη βρέχεται και να

μην υγραίνεται ποτέ κατά τη λειτουργία.

► Δεν επιτρέπεται να ανοίγετε το περίβλημα της συσκευής,

ούτε να επισκευάζετε ή να τροποποιείτε τη συσκευή. Σε περί­πτωση που το περίβλημα είναι ανοιχτό ή διεξάγετε αυθαίρε­τες μετασκευές, υπάρχει κίνδυνος για τη ζωή λόγω ηλεκτρο­πληξίας και η εγγύηση παύει να ισχύει.

► Προστατεύετε τη συσκευή από νερό που στάζει και πιτσιλάει.

Γι' αυτό, μην τοποθετείτε αντικείμενα γεμάτα με υγρά (π.χ.
βάζα) επάνω ή δίπλα στη συσκευή.

► Μετά το σιδέρωμα και πριν από κάθε καθαρισμό, αποσυν-

δέετε το βύσμα από την πρίζα δικτύου.

► Πρέπει να τραβήξετε το βύσμα από την πρίζα πριν γεμίσετε

το δοχείο νερού με νερό.

ΚΊΝΔΥΝΟΣ ΕΓΚΑΥΜΑΤΩΝ!

Προσοχή, καυτή επιφάνεια!

► Κατά τη διάρκεια που είναι ενεργοποιημένο το σίδερο,

καθώς και μερικά λεπτά μετά την απενεργοποίηση, ο πάτος
του είναι πολύ καυτός. Σε αυτή την περίπτωση, μην αγγίζετε
ποτέ τον πάτο του σίδερου!

► Πιάνετε το σίδερο μόνο από τη χειρολαβή όταν είναι ζεστό.
► Τα παιδιά πρέπει να επιτηρούνται, ώστε να είναι βέβαιο ότι

δεν παίζουν με τη συσκευή.

► Ποτέ μην έχετε τα χέρια σας στο σημείο εκτόξευσης ατμού ή

σε καυτά μεταλλικά μέρη.

► Ποτέ μην κατευθύνετε τη δέσμη ατμού σε άτομα ή ζώα.
► Μη σιδερώνετε και μην εκτοξεύετε ποτέ ατμό σε ρούχα ή

άλλα υφάσματα που τα κρατάει κάποιος ή τα φοράει.

► Τοποθετείτε το σίδερο πάντα επάνω στην επιφάνεια στήριξης

του σταθμού βάσης. Αποσυνδέετε το βύσμα από την πρίζα
δικτύου, όταν διακόπτετε το σιδέρωμα.

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ ΥΛΙΚΗ ΖΗΜΙΆ

► Μην αφήνετε ανεπιτήρητη τη συσκευή ενώ είναι συνδεδεμένη

στο δίκτυο.

► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε μέσα στη συσκευή ανθρακούχο νερό.
► Ποτέ μη λειτουργείτε τη συσκευή χωρίς νερό, διότι σε αντίθετη

περίπτωση η αντλία μπορεί να καεί.

► Το καλώδιο δικτύου και ο εύκαμπτος σωλήνας σύνδεσης δεν

πρέπει να έρθουν σε επαφή με τον καυτό πάτο του σίδερου.

► Μην γρατζουνάτε τον πάτο του σίδερου. Αποφεύγετε επαφή

του πάτου με μεταλλικά μέρη, όπως π.χ. κουμπιά ή φερμουάρ.

► Λειτουργείτε τη συσκευή μόνο επάνω σε μια σταθερή, ίσια

και λεία επιφάνεια.

Η συσκευή παραδίδεται κανονικά με τα εξής στοιχεία:

► Ελέγξτε τον παραδοτέο εξοπλισμό ως προς την πληρότητα και για εμφανείς

φθορές.

► Σε περίπτωση ελλιπούς παραδοτέου εξοπλισμού ή ζημιών λόγω ελλιπούς

συσκευασίας ή λόγω της μεταφοράς, απευθυνθείτε στη γραμμή εξυπηρέτη­σης πελατών (βλ. κεφάλαιο Σέρβις).

Μεταφορά

ΠΡΟΕΊΔΟΠΟΊΗΣΗ

Κίνδυνος τραυματισμού!

► Μη μεταφέρετε τη συσκευή κατά τη διάρκεια της λειτουργίας. Αφήνετε τη

συσκευή να κρυώνει καλά πριν την μετακινήσετε.

► Μεταφέρετε τη συσκευή προσεκτικά και μην την κουνάτε πολύ δυνατά.

Αλλιώς το σίδερο μπορεί να πέσει κάτω.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

► Μη γέρνετε και μην περιστρέφετε τη συσκευή με γεμάτο το δοχείο νερού 0.

Αλλιώς, μπορεί να τρέξει νερό από το στόμιο πλήρωσης r.

Χρησιμοποιείτε τον βραχίονα μεταφοράς 8, για να μεταφέρετε τη συσκευή:

♦ Διπλώστε τον βραχίονα μεταφοράς 8 προς τα επάνω, μέχρι να κουμπώσει

με ήχο. Ο βραχίονας μεταφοράς 8 σταθεροποιείται σε αυτή τη θέση

♦ Εάν δεν χρειάζεστε πλέον τον βραχίονα μεταφοράς 8, κρατήστε πατημένο

το πλήκτρο

καυτός. Γι' αυτό ποτέ μην αγγίζετε τον πάτο 6.

► Μεταφέρετε τη συσκευή προσεκτικά και μην την κουνάτε πολύ δυνατά.

Αλλιώς το σίδερο μπορεί να πέσει κάτω.

Πλήρωση δοχείου νερού

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

Χρησιμοποιείτε μόνο πόσιμο νερό ή αποσταγμένο.
Εάν το νερό βρύσης της περιοχής σας είναι πολύ σκληρό, προτείνεται να

αναμείξετε το νερό δικτύου με αποσταγμένο νερό. Σε αντίθετη περίπτωση,
εναποθέσεις αλάτων μπορεί να επηρεάσουν τη λειτουργία της συσκευής.

Αναμίξτε το πόσιμο νερό με αποσταγμένο νερό σύμφωνα με τον πίνακα:

Δεν επιτρέπεται να γεμίζετε το δοχείο νερού 0 με πρόσθετα (όπως κόλλα,
άρωμα, μαλακτικό ή άλλα χημικά). Η συσκευή μπορεί να καταστραφεί, διότι
μπορεί να σχηματιστούν υπολείμματα μέσα στον ατμοθάλαμο. Αυτά τα
υπολείμματα μπορεί να μολύνουν το προϊόν σιδερώματος σε περίπτωση που
πέσουν από τα στόμια εξόδου ατμού.

♦ Τραβήξτε το δοχείο νερού 0 στη λαβή 9 έξω από το σταθμό βάσης q.
♦ Γεμίστε με νερό το στόμιο πλήρωσης r του δοχείου νερού 0.

Μην υπερβείτε ωστόσο τη σήμανση MAX στο δοχείο νερού 0.

♦ Ωθήστε το δοχείο νερού 0 πίσω στο σταθμό βάσης q, μέχρι να κουμπώσει

με ήχο.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

► Μη γέρνετε και μην περιστρέφετε τη συσκευή με γεμάτο το δοχείο νερού 0.

Αλλιώς, μπορεί να τρέξει νερό από το στόμιο πλήρωσης r.

Πριν από την πρώτη χρήση

♦ Καθαρίστε τον πάτο του σίδερου 6 με ένα ελαφρώς νωπό πανί.
♦ Για να απομακρύνετε πιθανά υπολείμματα παραγωγής, σιδερώστε μερικές

φορές επάνω σε ένα παλιό και καθαρό πανί. Πιέστε παράλληλα μερικές

φορές το πλήκτρο ατμού 5.

Σιδέρωμα χωρίς ατμό

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

Ρυθμίζετε το ρυθμιστή θερμοκρασίας 4 πάντα στη μικρότερη βαθμίδα (min),
προτού ενεργοποιήσετε τη συσκευή. Τα σύμβολα στο ρυθμιστή θερμοκρασίας
4 αντιστοιχούν στις εξής ρυθμίσεις:

Σιδέρωμα με ατμό

♦ Γεμίστε εάν χρειάζεται με νερό το δοχείο νερού 0.
♦ Συνδέστε το βύσμα σε μια πρίζα.
♦ Θέστε τον διακόπτη on/off w στη θέση «1», για να ενεργοποιήσετε τη

συσκευή. Η ενσωματωμένη στον διακόπτη on/off w λυχνία ελέγχου και η

λυχνία ελέγχου θέρμανσης 3 ανάβουν, το πλήκτρο «MAX» z αναβοσβή-

νει.

♦ Περιστρέψτε το ρυθμιστή θερμοκρασίας 4 ρυθμίζοντας έτσι την επιθυ-

μητή θερμοκρασία σιδερώματος. Για την παραγωγή ατμού, ο ρυθμιστής

θερμοκρασίας 4 πρέπει να είναι ρυθμισμένος τουλάχιστον στην περιοχή

ρύθμισης

♦ Μόλις το πλήκτρο «MAX» z ή «ECO« t, αναλόγως της ρύθμισης, ανά-

ψει μόνιμα, μπορείτε να ξεκινήσετε με το σιδέρωμα με ατμό.

♦ Ενώ σιδερώνετε το προϊόν, μπορείτε να πατήσετε και να κρατήσετε το πλήκτρο

ατμού 5 , ώστε να ρίχνετε διαρκώς ατμό από τον πάτο του σίδερου 6

στο προϊόν. Για να τερματίσετε την εκτόξευση ατμού, αφήστε ελεύθερο το

πλήκτρο ατμού 5.

Κάθετο σιδέρωμα με ατμό

♦ Κρεμάστε το ύφασμα, που χρειάζεται σιδέρωμα, σε μία κρεμάστρα, η οποία

είναι κρεμασμένη σε μία θερμανθεκτική επιφάνεια.

♦ Συνδέστε το βύσμα σε μια πρίζα.
♦ Θέστε τον διακόπτη on/off w στη θέση «1», για να ενεργοποιήσετε τη

συσκευή. Η ενσωματωμένη στον διακόπτη on/off w λυχνία ελέγχου και η

λυχνία ελέγχου θέρμανσης 3 ανάβουν, το πλήκτρο «MAX» z αναβοσβή-

νει.

♦ Περιστρέψτε το ρυθμιστή θερμοκρασίας 4 ρυθμίζοντας έτσι την επιθυ-

μητή θερμοκρασία σιδερώματος. Για την παραγωγή ατμού, ο ρυθμιστής

θερμοκρασίας 4 πρέπει να είναι ρυθμισμένος τουλάχιστον στην περιοχή

ρύθμισης

♦ Κρατήστε το σίδερο κάθετα και πιέστε το πλήκτρο ατμού 5.
♦ Ακουμπήστε ελαφρά το ύφασμα με τον πάτο του σίδερου 6 και ρίξτε ατμό,

για να απομακρύνετε τις τσακίσεις.

♦ Για να τερματίσετε την εκτόξευση ατμού, αφήστε ελεύθερο το πλήκτρο ατμού 5.

♦ Μετά το σιδέρωμα, τοποθετήστε το σίδερο στην επιφάνεια στήριξης 7 του

σταθμού βάσης q. Θέστε το ρυθμιστή θερμοκρασίας 4 στο «min».

♦ Γυρίστε τον διακόπτη on/off w στη θέση «0», για να απενεργοποιήσετε τη

συσκευή. Η ενσωματωμένη στον διακόπτη on/off w λυχνία ελέγχου και η

λυχνία ελέγχου ατμού «MAX» z ή «ECO» t σβήνουν.

♦ Τραβήξτε το βύσμα δικτύου από την πρίζα δικτύου.

Συμπλήρωση νερού

Μπορείτε να συμπληρώσετε νερό κατά τη λειτουργία:

♦ Τοποθετήστε το σίδερο στην επιφάνεια στήριξης 7 του σταθμού βάσης q.
♦ Συμπληρώστε νερό, όπως περιγράφεται στο κεφάλαιο «Πλήρωση δοχείου

νερού».

ΠΡΟΕΊΔΟΠΟΊΗΣΗ!

Κίνδυνος τραυματισμού!

► Πριν τον καθαρισμό, αποσυνδέετε πάντα το βύσμα από την πρίζα.
► Αφήστε τη συσκευή να κρυώσει καλά.
► Σε καμία περίπτωση μη βυθίζετε τη συσκευή στο νερό, για να την καθαρίσετε.

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ

Ζημιά στη συσκευή!

► Βεβαιωθείτε ότι, κατά τον καθαρισμό, δεν εισέρχεται υγρασία μέσα στη

συσκευή, ώστε να αποφύγετε ανεπανόρθωτη ζημιά της.

► Για τον καθαρισμό των επιφανειών, μη χρησιμοποιείτε ούτε αιχμηρά τριβικά

ή διαλυτικά, ούτε συρμάτινες βούρτσες ή άλλα τριβικά αντικείμενα.

Αυτοκαθαρισμός

♦ Γεμίστε εάν χρειάζεται με νερό το δοχείο νερού 0.
♦ Γυρίστε το ρυθμιστή θερμοκρασίας 4 με ενεργοποιημένη τη συσκευή στη

θέση «MAX» και περιμένετε μέχρι να ζεσταθεί η συσκευή.

♦ Κρατήστε το σίδερο σε οριζόντια θέση επάνω από μια λεκάνη ή νεροχύτη.
♦ Πιέστε το πλήκτρο «Self clean» i περ. για 5 δευτερόλεπτα, η διαδικασία

αυτοκαθαρισμού ξεκινάει, το πλήκτρο «Self clean» i αναβοσβήνει. Εξέρ-

χεται ατμός από τις οπές εξόδου ατμού στον πάτο του σίδερου 6. Τυχόν

υπάρχουσες ακαθαρσίες αποπλένονται και εκρέουν προς τα έξω.

♦ Μόλις ολοκληρωθεί η διαδικασία αυτοκαθαρισμού (περ. μετά από 80

δευτερόλεπτα), το πλήκτρο «Self clean» i σταματάει να αναβοσβήνει.

Αλλαγή φίλτρου αλάτων

Αφότου χρησιμοποιηθεί το πλήκτρο ατμού 5 συνολικά περίπου για 11 ώρες,
πρέπει να αλλάξετε το φίλτρο αλάτων e.

Η συσκευή σάς δείχνει πότε πρέπει να γίνει αυτή η αντικατάσταση: Μόλις
αναβοσβήσει το πλήκτρο «Anti calc» u, πρέπει να αντικατασταθεί το φίλτρο
αλάτων e.
Ακολουθήστε την εξής διαδικασία:

♦ Γυρίστε τον διακόπτη on/off w στη θέση «0», για να απενεργοποιήσετε τη

συσκευή.

♦ Τραβήξτε το δοχείο νερού 0 στη λαβή 9 έξω από το σταθμό βάσης q.
♦ Τραβήξτε προς τα επάνω και έξω το φίλτρο αλάτων e από την υποδοχή

του φίλτρου αλάτων.

♦ Βάλτε το καινούριο φίλτρο αλάτων e στην υποδοχή φίλτρου αλάτων και

πιέστε το κάτω, ώστε να κάτσει καλά.

♦ Ωθήστε το δοχείο νερού 0 πίσω στο σταθμό βάσης q, μέχρι να κουμπώσει

με ήχο.

♦ Θέστε τον διακόπτη on/off w στη θέση «1», για να ενεργοποιήσετε τη

συσκευή.

♦ Πιέστε το πλήκτρο «Anti calc» u. Το πλήκτρο «Anti calc» u σβήνει.

Η αλλαγή του φίλτρου αλάτων e έχει πλέον ολοκληρωθεί.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

► Μετά την αλλαγή του φίλτρου αλάτων e απαιτούνται περ. 90 δευτερόλεπτα

μέχρι να εξέλθει πάλι ατμός από τον πάτο του σίδερου 6, όταν επαναχρη­σιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΕΙΣ

Τηρείτε τις εξής υποδείξεις σχετικά με το φίλτρο αλάτων e:

Ακατάλληλο για κατανάλωση / για να το πιείτε!

Φυλάτε το φίλτρο αλάτων e μακριά από τα παιδιά.

Φυλάτε το ανταλλακτικό φίλτρο αλάτων σε δροσερό και στεγνό μέρος.

Σε περίπτωση τακτικής χρήσης της συσκευής, είναι καλό να έχετε σε απόθεμα
ένα ανταλλακτικό φίλτρο αλάτων. Έτσι, θα μπορείτε να αλλάξετε αμέσως το
φίλτρο αλάτων e, μόλις ανάψει το πλήκτρο «anti calc» u .

Μπορείτε να παραγγείλετε καινούρια φίλτρα αλάτων e από την υπηρεσία
σέρβις μας (βλ. Κεφάλαιο Παραγγελία ανταλλακτικών).

Καθαρισμός συσκευής

♦ Τραβήξτε το βύσμα από την πρίζα, σε περίπτωση που δεν το έχετε ήδη

κάνει.

♦ Αφήστε πρώτα τη συσκευή να κρυώσει καλά.
♦ Καθαρίστε τις επιφάνειες του σίδερου και το σταθμό βάσης q μόνο με ένα

μαλακό και ελαφρώς νωπό πανί.

♦ Καθαρίστε τον πάτο του σίδερου 6 με ένα νωπό μαλακό πανί. Προσέχετε,

ώστε να μην γρατζουνιστεί ο πάτος 6 .

♦ Χύστε το υπόλοιπο νερό από το δοχείο νερού 0:

– Τραβήξτε το δοχείο νερού 0 έξω από το σταθμό βάσης q και χύστε

το υπόλοιπο νερό σε έναν νεροχύτη.

– Ωθήστε το δοχείο νερού 0 πίσω στο σταθμό βάσης q, μέχρι να

κουμπώσει με ήχο.

♦ Πριν από την εκ νέου χρήση, η συσκευή πρέπει να είναι εντελώς στεγνή.

Απόρριψη

Απόρριψη συσκευής

Σε καμία περίπτωση μην απορρίπτετε τη συσκευή στα οικιακά
απορρίμματα. Αυτό το προϊόν υπόκειται στην Ευρωπαϊκή Οδηγία
2012/19/ΕU-ΑΗΗΕ (Απόρριψη ηλεκτρικών και ηλεκτρονικών
συσκευών).

Απορρίπτετε τη συσκευή μέσω μιας εγκεκριμένης επιχείρησης απόρριψης ή
μέσω της κοινοτικής επιχείρησης απόρριψης. Τηρείτε τις ισχύουσες προδια­γραφές. Σε περίπτωση αμφιβολιών, επικοινωνείτε με την αρμόδια επιχείρηση
απόρριψης.

Για τις δυνατότητες απόρριψης του προϊόντος μετά το τέλος του κύκλου ζωής

του, απευθυνθείτε στην αρμόδια υπηρεσία της κοινότητας ή της πόλης σας.

Απόρριψη της συσκευασίας

Η συσκευασία προστατεύει τη συσκευή από φθορές κατά τη μεταφορά. Τα

υλικά συσκευασίας έχουν επιλεγεί σύμφωνα με τους οικολογικούς παράγο­ντες και τους παράγοντες της τεχνικής απόρριψης και για το λόγο αυτό είναι
ανακυκλώσιμα.

Απορρίπτετε τη συσκευασία με τρόπο φιλικό προς το περιβάλλον. Λαμβάνετε
υπόψη τη σήμανση στα διάφορα υλικά συσκευασίας και, εφόσον απαιτείται,
ξεχωρίζετέ τα.
Τα υλικά συσκευασίας φέρουν σήμανση με συντομογραφίες (a) και
ψηφία (b) με την εξής σημασία:

1–7: Πλαστικά,
20–22: Χαρτί και χαρτόνι,
80–98: Συνθετικά υλικά

Η παρούσα συσκευή διαθέτει 3 χρόνια εγγύηση από την ημερομηνία αγοράς.

Στην περίπτωση ελλείψεων στο προϊόν έχετε νομικά δικαιώματα έναντι του πωλητή
του προϊόντος. Αυτά τα νομικά δικαιώματα δεν περιορίζονται μέσω της κατωτέ­ρω αναφερόμενης εγγύησης.

Προϋποθέσεις εγγύησης

Η περίοδος εγγύησης ξεκινάει κατά την ημερομηνία αγοράς. Φυλάξτε καλά την
πρωτότυπη απόδειξη ταμείου. Αυτό το έγγραφο απαιτείται ως απόδειξη για την
αγορά.

Εάν, εντός τριών ετών από την ημερομηνία αγοράς, προκύψει στο προϊόν αυτό
σφάλμα υλικού ή κατασκευής, κατόπιν κρίσης μας, επισκευάζουμε ή αντικαθιστούμε
το προϊόν για εσάς δωρεάν. Η παρούσα εγγύηση προϋποθέτει ότι εντός της
περιόδου τριών ετών η ελαττωματική συσκευή και η απόδειξη αγοράς (απόδειξη
ταμείου) θα υποβληθούν μαζί με σύντομη περιγραφή σχετικά με το που βρίσκεται
η έλλειψη και πότε προέκυψε. Εάν το ελάττωμα καλύπτεται από την εγγύησή μας,
θα λάβετε το επισκευασμένο ή ένα νέο προϊόν.

Περίοδος εγγύησης και νομικές απαιτήσεις λόγω ελλείψεων

Ο χρόνος εγγύησης δεν παρατείνεται μέσω της παροχής εγγύησης. Αυτό ισχύει
και για εξαρτήματα, τα οποία έχουν αντικατασταθεί και επισκευαστεί. Ενδεχόμενες
ήδη υπάρχουσες ζημιές και ελλείψεις κατά την αγορά πρέπει να γνωστοποιούνται
αμέσως μετά την αποσυσκευασία. Μετά τη λήξη του χρόνου εγγύησης, τυχόν
εμφανιζόμενες επισκευές χρεώνονται.

Εύρος εγγύησης

Η συσκευή κατασκευάστηκε σύμφωνα με αυστηρές οδηγίες ποιότητας και ελέγχθηκε
προσεκτικά πριν από την αποστολή.

Η απόδοση εγγύησης ισχύει για σφάλματα υλικού ή κατασκευής. Η παρούσα
εγγύηση δεν εκτείνεται σε τμήματα του προϊόντος, τα οποία εκτίθενται σε φυσιο­λογική φθορά και έτσι μπορεί να θεωρούνται εξαρτήματα φθοράς ή για ζημιές
σε εύθραυστα εξαρτήματα, π.χ. διακόπτες, συσσωρευτές, ταψιά ή εξαρτήματα
που είναι κατασκευασμένα από γυαλί.

Η παρούσα εγγύηση ακυρώνεται εάν προκληθεί ζημιά στο προϊόν, εάν δεν
γίνεται σωστή χρήση ή συντήρηση. Για μια σωστή χρήση του προϊόντος πρέπει
να τηρούνται επακριβώς οι αναφερόμενες υποδείξεις στις οδηγίες χειρισμού.
Σκοποί χρήσης και χειρισμοί που δεν συνιστώνται ή για τους οποίους υπάρχει
προειδοποίηση πρέπει απαραίτητα να αποφεύγονται.

Το προϊόν προορίζεται μόνο για ιδιωτική και όχι για επαγγελματική χρήση.
Σε περίπτωση κακής μεταχείρισης και ακατάλληλης χρήσης, χρήσης βίας και
παρεμβάσεων, οι οποίες δεν διεξήχθησαν από το εξουσιοδοτημένο μας τμήμα
σέρβις, η εγγύηση παύει να ισχύει.

Διαδικασία σε περίπτωση εγγύησης

Για την εξασφάλιση γρήγορης επεξεργασίας του ζητήματός σας, τηρείτε τις ακό­λουθες υποδείξεις:

■ Για όλες τις ερωτήσεις έχετε έτοιμη την απόδειξη αγοράς και τον κωδικό προ-

ϊόντος (π.χ. ΙΑΝ 12345) ως απόδειξη για την αγορά.

■ Μπορείτε να βρείτε τον κωδικό προϊόντος στην πινακίδα τύπου, χαραγμένο,

anleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für Sicherheit,
Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie sich vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit
allen Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das Produkt nur

darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Das Gerät
ist nicht zur Verwendung in gewerblichen oder industriellen Bereichen vorgesehen.

Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwen­dung, unsachgemäßen Reparaturen, unerlaubt vorgenommener Veränderungen
oder Verwendung nicht zugelassener Ersatzteile sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko
trägt allein der Betreiber.

■ Das Gerät darf nicht benutzt werden, falls es herunter

■ Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort

von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice
austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

■ Lassen Sie Reparaturen am Gerät nur von autorisierten Fach-

betrieben oder dem Kundenservice durchführen. Durch un­sachgemäße Reparaturen können Gefahren für den Benutzer
entstehen. Zudem erlischt der Garantieanspruch.

■ Eine Reparatur des Gerätes während der Garantiezeit darf

nur von einem vom Hersteller autorisierten Kundendienst
vorgenommen werden, sonst besteht bei nachfolgenden
Schäden kein Garantieanspruch mehr.

Defekte Bauteile dürfen nur gegen Original-Ersatzteile aus­getauscht werden. Nur bei diesen Teilen ist gewährleistet,
dass sie die Sicherheitsanforderungen erfüllen werden.

■ Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und älter und

von Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen
oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung
und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt
oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes un­terwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren
verstanden haben. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spie­len. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch
Kinder ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.

■ Das Gerät und dessen Anschlussleitung müssen während

des Einschaltens oder Abkühlens außer Reichweite von
Kindern sein, die jünger als 8 Jahre alt sind.

■ Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

■ Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände auf das Gerät, speziell

nicht auf den Verbindungsschlauch zwischen Basisstation
und Bügeleisen.

■ Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von offenen Flammen

(z. B. Kerzen) betreiben.

GEFAHR DURCH ELEKTRISCHEN SCHLAG!

► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig instal-

lierte und geerdete Netzsteckdose an. Die Netzspannung
muss mit den Angaben auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes
übereinstimmen.

► Lassen Sie Anschlussleitungen bzw. Geräte, die nicht ein-

wandfrei funktionieren oder beschädigt wurden, sofort vom
Kundendienst reparieren oder austauschen.

► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht weiter, wenn der Knickschutz

am Netzkabel beschädigt ist!

► Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser ein. Wischen Sie

es nur mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch ab.

► Setzen Sie das Gerät nicht dem Regen aus und benutzen Sie

es auch niemals in feuchter oder nasser Umgebung.

► Fassen Sie das Netzkabel immer am Netzstecker an und

ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel selbst.

► Fassen Sie das Netzkabel oder den Netzstecker niemals mit

feuchten Händen an.

► Stellen Sie weder das Gerät, Möbelstücke o. Ä. auf das

Netzkabel und achten Sie darauf, dass es nicht eingeklemmt
wird.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlussleitung während des

Betriebs niemals nass oder feucht wird.

► Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse nicht öffnen, das Gerät nicht

reparieren oder modifizieren. Bei geöffnetem Gehäuse oder
eigenmächtigen Umbauten besteht Lebensgefahr durch elek­trischen Schlag und die Gewährleistung erlischt.

► Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser. Stellen

Sie deshalb keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gegenstände
(z. B. Blumenvasen) auf oder neben das Gerät.

► Ziehen Sie nach Beenden des Bügelns und vor jeder Reini-

gung den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

► Der Netzstecker muss aus der Netzsteckdose herausgezogen

werden, bevor der Wassertank mit Wasser befüllt wird.

GEFAHR DURCH VERBRÜHEN ODER VERBRENNEN!

Vorsicht, heiße Oberfläche!

► Während das Bügeleisen eingeschaltet ist sowie einige

Minuten nach dem Abschalten, ist die Bügelsohle sehr heiß.
Berühren Sie dann niemals die Bügelsohle!

► Fassen Sie das Bügeleisen nur am Griff an, wenn es heiß ist.
► Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass

sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

► Halten Sie niemals Ihre Hände in den Dampfstoß oder an

heiße Metallteile.

► Richten Sie den Dampfstrahl niemals auf Personen oder

Tiere.

► Bügeln oder bedampfen Sie niemals Kleidung oder anderes

Gewebe, während es von Personen gehalten oder am Körper
getragen wird.

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Stellen Sie das Bügeleisen immer auf der Abstellfläche der

Basisstation ab. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netz­steckdose, wenn Sie das Bügeln unterbrechen.

ACHTUNG SACHBESCHÄDIGUNG

► Das Gerät darf nicht unbeaufsichtigt gelassen werden, wäh-

rend es am Netz angeschlossen ist.

► Verwenden Sie kein kohlensäurehaltiges Wasser im Gerät.
► Verwenden Sie das Gerät nie ohne Wasser, da sonst die

Pumpe durchbrennen könnte.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass weder Netzkabel noch Verbindungs-

schlauch in Kontakt mit der heißen Bügelsohle kommen.

► Verkratzen Sie die Bügelsohle nicht. Vermeiden Sie einen

Kontakt der Bügelsohle mit Metallteilen, wie z. B. Knöpfe
oder Reißverschlüsse.

► Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur auf einer stabilen, geraden und

ebenen Fläche.

Aufstellen und Anschließen

Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion

Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

● Dampfbügelstation

● Klettband zum Fixieren des Netzkabels

● Bedienungsanleitung

HINWEIS

► Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter

Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel Service).

Auspacken

WARNUNG

Erstickungsgefahr!

► Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht zum Spielen verwendet werden.

Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.

♦ Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem

Karton.

♦ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.

Anforderungen an den Aufstellort

Die Arbeitsfläche, auf der Sie die Basisstation q aufstellen, muss stabil, eben
und hitzebeständig sein.

Transportieren

WARNUNG

Verletzungsgefahr!

► Transportieren Sie das Gerät nicht während des Betriebs. Lassen Sie das

Gerät vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie es bewegen.

► Transportieren Sie das Gerät vorsichtig und schwenken Sie es nicht zu

stark. Das Bügeleisen könnte sonst herunterfallen.

HINWEIS

► Kippen und schwenken Sie das Gerät nicht bei vollem Wassertank 0. Ansons-

ten kann Wasser aus der Einfüllöffnung r austreten.

Nutzen Sie den Tragebügel 8, um das Gerät zu transportieren:

♦ Klappen Sie den Tragebügel 8 nach oben, bis er hörbar einrastet. Der

Tragebügel 8 ist in dieser Position fixiert

♦ Wenn Sie den Tragebügel 8 nicht mehr benötigen, halten Sie die

- Taste1 gedrückt und drücken Sie den Tragebügel 8 wieder nach

unten.

WARNUNG

Verletzungsgefahr!

► Während das Bügeleisen eingeschaltet ist sowie einige Minuten nach dem

Abschalten, ist die Bügelsohle 6 sehr heiß. Berühren Sie dann niemals die
Bügelsohle 6.

► Transportieren Sie das Gerät vorsichtig und schwenken Sie es nicht zu

stark. Das Bügeleisen könnte sonst herunterfallen.

ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN!

► Falls die Pflegehinweise in der Kleidung das Bügeln untersagen (Symbol

), dürfen Sie das Kleidungsstück nicht bügeln. Sie könnten das Klei­dungsstück andernfalls beschädigen.
Beachten Sie immer die Pflegehinweise in der Kleidung und halten Sie sich
an diese!

Wassertank befüllen

HINWEIS

Verwenden Sie nur Leitungswasser oder destilliertes Wasser.
Sollte das Leitungswasser Ihres Wohnortes zu hart sein, empfiehlt es sich, das

Leitungswasser mit destilliertem Wasser zu mischen. Ansonsten können Kalkab­lagerungen die Funktionen des Gerätes beeinträchtigen.

Mischen Sie das Leitungswasser mit destilliertem Wasser entsprechend der Tabelle:

Wasser mit Zusätzen (wie Stärke, Parfüm, Weichspüler oder anderen Chemi­kalien) darf nicht in den Wassertank 0 gelangen. Das Gerät könnte dadurch
beschädigt werden, da sich Rückstände in der Dampfkammer bilden können.
Diese Rückstände können beim Ausfallen durch die Dampfaustrittsöffnungen
das Bügelgut verunreinigen.

♦ Ziehen Sie den Wassertank 0 am Griff 9 aus der Basisstation q heraus.
♦ Füllen Sie Wasser in die Einfüllöffnung r des Wassertanks 0. Übersteigen

Sie dabei jedoch nicht die MAX-Markierung am Wassertank 0.

♦ Schieben Sie den Wassertank 0 zurück in die Basisstation q, bis er

hörbar einrastet.

HINWEIS

► Kippen und schwenken Sie das Gerät nicht bei vollem Wassertank 0.

Ansonsten kann Wasser aus der Einfüllöffnung r austreten.

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch

♦ Reinigen Sie die Bügelsohle 6 mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch.
♦ Um etwaige Rückstände von der Produktion zu entfernen, bügeln Sie einige

Male über ein altes, sauberes Tuch. Betätigen Sie dabei ein paar Mal die
Dampf-Taste 5.

Bügeln ohne Dampf

HINWEIS

Stellen Sie den Temperaturregler 4 immer auf die kleinste Stufe (min), bevor
Sie das Gerät einschalten. Die Symbole auf dem Temperaturregler 4 entspre­chen folgenden Einstellungen:

♦ Schalten Sie den Ein- / Aus-Schalter w auf die Position „1“, um das Gerät

♦ Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 4 und stellen Sie so die gewünschte

Basisstation q. Stellen Sie den Temperaturregler 4 auf „min“.

♦ Schalten Sie den Ein- / Aus-Schalter w auf die Position „0“, um das Gerät

auszuschalten. Die im Ein- / Aus-Schalter w integrierte Kontrollleuchte und
die Taste „MAX“ z erlöschen.

♦ Ziehen den Netzstecker aus der

♦ Füllen Sie ggf. Wasser in den Wassertank 0.
♦ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.
♦ Schalten Sie den Ein- / Aus-Schalter w auf die Position „1“, um das Gerät

einzuschalten. Die im Ein- / Aus-Schalter w integrierte Kontrollleuchte und
die Aufheizkontrollleuchte 3 leuchten, die Taste „MAX“ z blinkt.

♦ Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 4 und stellen Sie so die gewünschte Bü-

geltemperatur ein. Um Dampf zu erzeugen, muss der Temperaturregler4
mindestens in den Einstellbereich

♦ Die Aufheizkontrollleuchte 3 leuchtet während des Aufheizens. Sobald die

Aufheizkontrollleuchte 3 erlischt, ist die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht.

♦ Stellen Sie die Dampfstärke ein:

– Drücken Sie die Taste „MAX“ z, um maximale Dampfmenge zu erzeugen.
– Drücken Sie die Taste „ECO“ t, um weniger Dampf zu erzeugen.

♦ Sobald die Taste „MAX“ z bzw. „ECO“ t, je nach Einstellung, dauerhaft

leuchtet, können Sie mit dem Dampfbügeln beginnen.

♦ Während Sie das Bügelgut bügeln, können Sie nun die Dampf-Taste 5

drücken und halten, um anhaltend Dampf aus der Bügelsohle 6 auf das
Bügelgut zu geben. Um den Dampfausstoß zu beenden, lassen Sie die
Dampf-Taste5 los.

HINWEIS

Wenn die Dampf-Taste 5 gedrückt wird, kann es einige Sekunden dauern,
bis Dampf aus der Bügelsohle 6 tritt.

hitzebeständigen Oberfläche hängt.

♦ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.
♦ Schalten Sie den Ein- / Aus-Schalter w auf die Position „1“, um das Gerät

einzuschalten. Die im Ein- / Aus-Schalter w integrierte Kontrollleuchte und

die Aufheizkontrollleuchte 3 leuchten, die Taste „MAX“ z blinkt.

♦ Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 4 und stellen Sie so die gewünschte Bü-

geltemperatur ein. Um Dampf zu erzeugen, muss der Temperaturregler4

mindestens in den Einstellbereich

♦ Die Aufheizkontrollleuchte 3 leuchtet während des Aufheizens. Sobald die

Aufheizkontrollleuchte 3 erlischt, ist die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht.

♦ Stellen Sie die Dampfstärke ein:

♦ Sobald die Taste „MAX“ z bzw. „ECO“ t, je nach Einstellung, dauerhaft

leuchtet, können Sie mit dem Dampfbügeln beginnen.

♦ Halten Sie das Bügeleisen in senkrechter Position und drücken Sie die

Dampf-Taste 5.

♦ Berühren Sie das Gewebe leicht mit der Bügelsohle 6 und bedampfen Sie

es, um Falten zu entfernen.

♦ Um den Dampfausstoß zu beenden, lassen Sie die Dampf-Taste 5 los.

Sie können das Wasser während des Betriebs nachfüllen:

♦ Stellen Sie das Bügeleisen auf die Abstellfläche 7 der Basisstation q.
♦ Füllen Sie Wasser nach, wie im Kapitel „Wassertank befüllen“ beschrieben.

Reinigung und Wartung

WARNUNG!

Verletzungsgefahr!

► Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung stets den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
► Lassen Sie das Gerät ggf. erst vollständig abkühlen.
► Tauchen Sie das Gerät zum Reinigen auf keinen Fall in Wasser.

ACHTUNG

Beschädigung des Gerätes!

► Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät

eindringt, um eine irreparable Beschädigung des Gerätes zu vermeiden.

► Benutzen Sie zur Reinigung der Oberflächen weder scharfe Scheuer- oder

Lösungsmittel noch eine Drahtbürste oder andere scheuernde Gegenstände.

Selbstreinigung

♦ Füllen Sie ggf. Wasser in den Wassertank 0.
♦ Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 4 bei eingeschaltetem Gerät auf „max“

und warten Sie, bis das Gerät aufgeheizt hat.

♦ Halten Sie das Bügeleisen waagerecht über eine Auffangschüssel oder ein

Waschbecken.

♦ Drücken Sie die Taste „Self clean“ i für ca. 5 Sekunden, der Selbstrei-

nigungsvorgang beginnt, die Taste „Self clean“ i blinkt. Dampf tritt aus

den Dampfaustrittslöchern in der Bügelsohle 6 aus. Eventuell vorhandene

Verunreinigungen werden dabei herausgespült.

♦ Sobald der Selbstreinigungsvorgang beendet ist (nach ca. 80 Sekunden),

hört die Taste „Self clean“i auf zu blinken.

Kalkfilter wechseln

Nachdem die Dampf-Taste 5 insgesamt etwa 11 Stunden lang betätigt wurde,
sollte der Kalkfilter e gewechselt werden.

Das Gerät zeigt Ihnen an, wenn es soweit ist: Sobald die Taste „Anti calc“ u
blinkt, muss der Kalkfilter e gewechselt werden. Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

♦ Schalten Sie den Ein- / Aus-Schalter w auf die Position „0“, um das Gerät

auszuschalten.

♦ Ziehen Sie den Wassertank 0 am Griff 9 aus der Basisstation q heraus.
♦ Ziehen Sie den Kalkfilter e nach oben aus dem Kalkfilterschacht heraus.
♦ Setzen Sie den neuen Kalkfilter e in den Kalkfilterschacht ein und drücken

Sie diesen herunter, so dass er fest sitzt.

♦ Schieben Sie den Wassertank 0 zurück in die Basisstation q, bis er

hörbar einrastet.

♦ Schalten Sie den Ein- / Aus-Schalter w auf die Position „1“, um das Gerät

einzuschalten.

♦ Drücken Sie die Taste „Anti calc“ u. Die Taste „Anti calc“ u erlischt.

Das Wechseln des Kalkfilters e ist abgeschlossen.

HINWEIS

► Nach dem Wechsel des Kalkfilters e dauert es ca. 90 Sekunden, bis

wieder Dampf aus der Bügelsohle 6 tritt, wenn Sie das Gerät erneut
benutzen.

HINWEISE

Beachten Sie folgende Hinweise im Umgang mit dem Kalkfilter e:

Nicht zum Verzehr / zum Trinken geeignet!

Bewahren Sie den Kalkfilter e außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf.

Bewahren Sie Ersatzkalkfilter an einem kühlen, trockenen Ort auf.

Bei regelmäßiger Benutzung des Gerätes ist es sinnvoll, immer einen Er­satzkalkfilter auf Vorrat zu haben. Dann können Sie den Kalkfilter e sofort
wechseln, wenn die Taste „Anti calc“ u leuchtet.

Neue Kalkfilter e können Sie über unseren Service bestellen (siehe Kapitel
Ersatzteile bestellen).

Gerät reinigen

♦ Ziehen Sie, falls noch nicht geschehen, den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
♦ Lassen Sie das Gerät ggf. vollständig abkühlen.
♦ Reinigen Sie die Oberflächen des Bügeleisens und der Basistation q nur mit

einem weichen, leicht feuchten Tuch.

♦ Reinigen Sie die Bügelsohle 6 mit einem feuchten weichen Tuch. Achten Sie

darauf, dass die Bügelsohle 6 nicht verkratzt.

♦ Entfernen Sie Restwasser aus dem Wassertank 0:

– Ziehen Sie den Wassertank 0 aus der Basisstation q heraus und

schütten Sie das Restwasser in ein Waschbecken.

– Schieben Sie den Wassertank 0 zurück in die Basisstation q, bis er

hörbar einrastet.

♦ Das Gerät muss vor einer erneuten Benutzung vollständig getrocknet sein.

Gerät entsorgen

Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie

Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über
Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden
Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in
Verbindung.

Möglichkeiten zur Entsorgung des ausgedienten Produkts erfahren Sie bei Ihrer

Gemeinde- oder Stadtverwaltung.

Verpackung entsorgen

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmateriali-

en sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten
ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Entsorgen Sie die Verpackung umweltgerecht. Beachten Sie die Kennzeichnung
auf den verschiedenen Verpackungsmaterialien und trennen Sie diese gegeben­enfalls gesondert.
Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind gekennzeichnet mit Abkürzungen (a) und
Ziffern (b) mit folgender Bedeutung:

Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Im Falle von

Mängeln dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts gesetz­liche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch unsere im Folgenden
dargestellte Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.

Garantiebedingungen

Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte bewahren Sie den Original–
Kassenbon gut auf. Diese Unterlage wird als Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt.

Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Material­oder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl – für
Sie kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt. Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass
innerhalb der Drei-Jahres-Frist das defekte Gerät und der Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon)
vorgelegt und schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel besteht und
wann er aufgetreten ist.

Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte
oder ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts
beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.

Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche

Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch
für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden
und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf
der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpflichtig.

Garantieumfang

Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor
Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.

Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie
erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und
daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen
an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile, die aus
Glas gefertigt sind.

Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt
oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle
in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten.
Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung
abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.

Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch
bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwen­dung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlassung
vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie.
