Introduction

Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.
You have selected a high-quality product. The operating instructions are

part of this product. They contain important information about safety,
usage and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise
yourself with all operating and safety instructions. Use the product
only as described and for the range of applications specified. Please
also pass these operating instructions on to any future owner.

Intended use

The steam iron is intended exclusively for the ironing of textiles. The
iron may only be used indoors and in private households. All other
use is deemed to be improper use. It is not suitable for commercial
use!

Claims of any kind for damage resulting from misuse, incompetent
repairs, unauthorised modification or the use of unauthorised spare
parts will not be accepted.

The risk shall be borne solely by the user.

Package contents

The appliance is supplied with the following components as

Unpack all parts of the appliance from the packaging and remove
all packaging material. Check the package for completeness and
signs of visible damage.

NOTES

► If the delivery is incomplete or damage has occurred as a

result of defective packaging or during transport, contact the
Service hotline (see section Service).

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport.
The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental
friendliness and ease of disposal and are therefore recyclable.

Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves
raw materials and reduces the amount of waste that is
generated. Dispose of packaging materials that are no
longer needed in accordance with applicable local
regulations.

Note the labelling on the packaging and separate the

packaging material components for disposal if necessary.
The packaging material is labelled with abbreviations (b)
and numbers (a) with the following meanings:

1–7: Plastics, 20–22: Paper and cardboard,

80–98: Composites

Safety information

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

► To avoid potential risks, arrange for a de-

fective appliance to be checked and pos­sibly repaired by qualified technicians, or
contact our Customer Service Department.

► Arrange for defective power plugs and/or

cables to be replaced as soon as possible
by a qualified technician or by our Custom­er Service Department to avoid the risk of
injury.

► When disconnecting the appliance from the

power source, pull only on the plug itself,
never on the cable.

► Do not kink or crush the power cable, and

route the cable so that it cannot be stepped
on or tripped over.

► After every use, before cleaning and when

refilling with tap water, always remove the
plug from the mains power socket.

► Always unroll the power cable fully before

switching on and do not use an extension
cable.

► Never touch the power cable or the plug

with wet hands.

► Stop using the appliance if the anti-kink

protection on the power cable is damaged!

► Always pull the plug out of the power socket

before filling the water tank with water.

► Do not open the housing of the steam iron.

Have a defective steam iron repaired only
by an authorised technician.

Never use the steam iron adjacent to
water contained in a bath, shower, wash
basin or other vessels. The proximity of
water is hazardous, even if the appliance
is switched off.

► This appliance may be used by children

aged 8 years or more and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capa­bilities or lack of experience and/or know­ledge if they are supervised, or have been
instructed in the safe use of the appliance
and have understood the potential risks.

► Do not allow children to use the appliance

as a plaything.

► Cleaning and user maintenance may not

be carried out by children unless they are
supervised.

► Children should be supervised to ensure

that they do not play with the appliance.

► Never place your hands in the steam spray

or on the hot metal parts.

► When the steam iron is hot, hold it only by

the handle .

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► The iron and its connecting cable must be

kept out of the reach of children under the
age of than 8 while the iron is switched on
or cooling down.

► This steam iron should only be used and

set down on stable surfaces.

► Place the iron only on a level and heat-

resistant surface. The iron must be stable.

► When you want to put the steam iron

down, always place it on its base/feet 6.

► The steam iron may not be used if it has

fallen down, if it shows visible damage or
is leaking.

► Never leave a hot steam iron unattended if

it is switched on or connected to the mains
power supply.

► Do not put the steam iron away until it has

cooled down completely.

► Do not clean the steam iron with solvents,

alcohol or abrasive cleaning agents.
These could damage it.

CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► Always set the voltage selector on the

appliance to the rating of the local power
supply. Under no circumstances should
you operate the appliance on a 220–
240 V mains supply when the voltage
switch is set to 100–127 V (or vice ver­sa). This can damage the appliance and
invalidate the guarantee. Ask your energy
supplier or the hotel staff about the rating
of the local electrical mains supply. Do
not insert the plug into a power socket
and switch on your appliance until this
has been clarified.

► Use the appliance only indoors.

CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► If the clothing care instructions forbid iron-

ing ( symbol), the clothing item must
not be ironed. Ignoring this warning could
lead to permanent damage to the clothing
item.

► Use only the ironing temperatures stated

in the care instructions as suitable for the
material. Otherwise, you could damage the
textiles. If you do not know the correct care
instructions, start with the lowest tempera­ture setting.

► The water tank should be filled only with

tap water or distilled water. Otherwise
you will damage the steam iron.

► Do not clean the steam iron with solvents,

alcohol or abrasive cleaning agents.
These could damage it.

► The steam iron is not intended for regular

use.

Before first use

1) Remove the iron from the packaging.

2) Remove all stickers and protective films from the iron and from the
sole of the iron 8.

RISK OF SUFFOCATION!

► Plastic bags may pose a risk. To avoid the risk of asphyxia-

tion, keep plastic bags out of the reach of toddlers and small
children.

3) Open the water tank filler opening 1 and fill the water tank with
water (See the section Filling the water tank).

4) Set the correct voltage using the voltage switch 7. You can, for
example, use a thin pin or a straightened paper clip to do this.

― Slide the voltage switch 7 to the right to set a voltage of

220–240 V (e.g. for Europe/Switzerland).

― Slide the voltage switch 7 to the left to set a voltage of

100–127 V (e.g. for USA/Japan).

5) Insert the plug into a mains power socket supplying the voltage
you have set.

6) Set the temperature control 4 to "MAX"

7) Heat the iron up for several minutes at the highest setting.

8) If clicked in: press the steam switch

and protrudes beyond the appliance surface. Steam will
come out of the sole of the iron 8 continuously if you hold
the iron horizontally.

9) Then iron over a piece of scrap fabric to remove any production
residues that may remain on the ironing sole 8.

10) Press the steam switch

The steam discharge then stops.

3 again so that it re-engages.

Filling the water tank

1) Place the iron on a level surface.

2) Open the cover on the water tank 1 filler opening.

3) Fill the measuring cup w up to the MAX marking with tap water
and fill this water into the water tank.

4) Close the cover on the water tank 1 filler opening.

5) Raise the iron vertically. You can read off the maximum water
level at the inspection openings 2.

Plugging in and ironing

Dry ironing without steam is possible at all temperatures; steam
ironing is only possible above the setting range

1) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.

CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► Before you connect the steam iron to the power supply,

always ensure that the correct voltage has been set on the
voltage switch 7 (see section Before first use).

► If the clothing care instructions forbid ironing (

are suitable for being ironed and at which temperature setting.

NOTE

► Always place the iron on the stand 6 while it heats up.
► When the iron is placed on the stand 6, steam production is

automatically stopped.

■ The indicator lamp 9 lights up. The indicator lamp 9 goes out

once the set temperature has been reached.

4) Wait until the indicator lamp 9 goes out.

5) If you want to iron with steam, press the steam switch
that it disengages and protrudes beyond the appliance surface.

The temperature control 4 must be set in the
produce steam.

NOTE

► The indicator lamp 9 may come on and go out several times

during this process. This is not an appliance malfunction! It
merely indicates that the appliance is heating up again to
maintain the temperature.

6) When you want to stop ironing, turn the temperature regulator 4
to MIN, press the steam switch

from the mains power socket.

Cleaning

RISK OF ELECTROCUTION!

► Remove the plug before cleaning the appliance. There is a

risk of electric shock!

RISK OF INJURY!

► Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it.

Otherwise, there is risk of burns!

CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!

► Do not use aggressive, abrasive or chemical cleaning

agents. They can damage the surface and also lead to
irreparable damage to the appliance.

■ Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth only.

■ Clean the sole of the iron 8 using a slightly damp cloth. For

stubborn dirt, add a little mild detergent to the cloth. Afterwards,
wipe clean with a cloth moistened only with water to ensure that
no detergent residue remains.

Storage

RISK OF INJURY!

► Allow the appliance to cool down. Otherwise, there is risk

of burns!

■ Empty the remaining water out of the water tank by opening the

filler opening 1 on the water tank, turning the appliance upside
down over a sink and rocking it gently.

■ Wrap the power cable around the cable retainer q. Guide the

end of the cable through the cable clip 0 so that the cable is
retained.

■ Place the iron in the case e and close the zip.

Disposal

Never dispose of the appliance in your
normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of
European Directive 2012/19/EU.

Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal
facility or your municipal waste facility. Please observe
the currently applicable regulations. Please contact your
waste disposal facility if you are in any doubt.

Dispose of all packaging materials in an environmentally
friendly manner.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase.

If this product has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory
rights. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the war­ranty described below.

Warranty conditions

The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase.
Please keep your original receipt in a safe place. This document will
be required as proof of purchase.

If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the
date of purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the
product for you at our discretion. This warranty service is dependent
on you presenting the defective appliance and the proof of purchase
(receipt) and a short written description of the fault and its time of
occurrence.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be
repaired or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product
does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the
warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired components.
Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be
reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after expi­ry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty

This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quali­ty guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty
does not extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear
or fragile parts such as switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts
made of glass.

The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged,
improperly used or improperly maintained. The directions in the oper­ating instructions for the product regarding proper use of the product
are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are discouraged
in the operating instructions or which are warned against must be
avoided.

This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial
purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or
improper handling, use of force and modifications / repairs which
have not been carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.

■ Please have the till receipt and the item number (e.g. IAN

12345) available as proof of purchase.

■ You will find the item number on the type plate, an engraving on

the front page of the instructions (bottom left), or as a sticker on
the rear or bottom of the appliance.

■ If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service

department listed either by telephone or by e-mail.

■ You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the ser-

vice address that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose
the proof of purchase (till receipt) and information about what the
defect is and when it occurred.

Εισαγωγή

Παραδοτέος εξοπλισμός

Αφαιρέστε όλα τα εξαρτήματα της συσκευής από το χαρτοκιβώτιο
και απομακρύνετε όλα τα υλικά συσκευασίας. Ελέγξτε τον παραδοτέο
εξοπλισμό ως προς την πληρότητα, καθώς και για εμφανείς ζημιές.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΕΙΣ

► Σε περίπτωση ελλιπούς παραδοτέου εξοπλισμού ή ζημιών

λόγω ελλιπούς συσκευασίας ή λόγω μεταφοράς, απευθυνθείτε
στη γραμμή εξυπηρέτησης πελατών (βλ. κεφάλαιο Σέρβις).

Απόρριψη της συσκευασίας

Η συσκευασία προστατεύει τη συσκευή από φθορές κατά τη μεταφορά.
Τα υλικά συσκευασίας έχουν επιλεγεί σύμφωνα με τους οικολογικούς
παράγοντες και τους παράγοντες της τεχνικής απόρριψης και για
το λόγο αυτό είναι ανακυκλώσιμα.

Η επιστροφή της συσκευασίας στο κύκλωμα υλικών
εξοικονομεί πρώτες ύλες και μειώνει την ποσότητα των
απορριμμάτων. Απορρίπτετε τα υλικά συσκευασίας που
δεν χρησιμοποιούνται πλέον σύμφωνα με τις τοπικές

Υποδείξεις ασφαλείας

ΚΊΝΔΥΝΟΣ ΗΛΕΚΤΡΟΠΛΗΞΊΑΣ

► Μια ελαττωματική συσκευή πρέπει να επι-

σκευάζεται εγκαίρως από ένα εξουσιοδο­τημένο συνεργείο ή πρέπει να απευθύνεστε
στο τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης πελατών, ώστε να
αποφεύγετε κινδύνους.

► Τα βύσματα ή τα καλώδια που έχουν υπο-

στεί βλάβη πρέπει να αντικαθίστανται αμέ­σως από εξουσιοδοτημένο εξειδικευμένο
προσωπικό ή από το τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης
πελατών, ώστε να αποφεύγονται κίνδυνοι.

► Τραβάτε πάντα μόνο από το βύσμα, ποτέ

από το καλώδιο.

► Μην τσακίζετε ή συμπιέζετε το καλώδιο

και τοποθετείτε το κατά τέτοιο τρόπο, ώστε
να μην μπορεί κανείς να το πατήσει ή να
σκοντάψει σε αυτό.

► Τραβάτε το βύσμα από την πρίζα πριν από

τον καθαρισμό, κατά την πλήρωση με νερό
της βρύσης και μετά από κάθε χρήση.

► Πριν από την ενεργοποίηση ξετυλίγετε

πάντα εντελώς το καλώδιο και μη χρησιμο­ποιείτε καλώδια προέκτασης.

► Ποτέ μην πιάνετε το καλώδιο ή το βύσμα

με βρεγμένα χέρια.

► Μη συνεχίζετε τη χρήση της συσκευής,

εάν η προστασία έναντι συστροφής του
καλωδίου έχει φθαρεί!

► Πρέπει να τραβήξετε το βύσμα από την

πρίζα πριν γεμίσετε το δοχείο νερού με
νερό.

► Δεν επιτρέπεται να ανοίγετε το περίβλημα

του ατμοσίδερου. Το ελαττωματικό ατμο­σίδερο επιτρέπεται να επισκευάζεται μόνο
από εξουσιοδοτημένο προσωπικό.

Σε καμία περίπτωση μη χρησιμοποιείτε
το ατμοσίδερο κοντά σε νερό, το οποίο
βρίσκεται σε μπανιέρες, ντους, νιπτήρες
ή σε άλλα δοχεία. Υπάρχει κίνδυνος από
την ύπαρξη νερού, ακόμα και όταν η
συσκευή είναι εκτός ρεύματος.

► Το σίδερο και το καλώδιο σύνδεσής του

πρέπει να βρίσκονται μακριά από παιδιά
μικρότερα των 8 ετών κατά την ενεργοποίη­ση ή το κρύωμα του σίδερου.

► Το ατμοσίδερο πρέπει να χρησιμοποιείται

και να τοποθετείται επάνω σε μια σταθερή
επιφάνεια.

► Τοποθετείτε το σίδερο μόνο επάνω σε μία

επίπεδη και θερμανθεκτική επιφάνεια.
Το σίδερο πρέπει να είναι σταθερό.

► Εάν θέλετε να αφήσετε το ατμοσίδερο, να

το τοποθετείτε μόνο επάνω στην υποδοχή /
στις βάσεις στήριξης 6.

► Το ατμοσίδερο δεν επιτρέπεται να χρησιμο-

ποιείται σε περίπτωση που έχει πέσει κάτω,
παρουσιάζει ορατές φθορές ή διαρροή.

► Ρυθμίζετε πάντα την αντίστοιχη τάση

δικτύου μέσω του διαθέσιμου δικτύου
ρεύματος στη συσκευή. Σε καμία περί­πτωση μη λειτουργείτε τη συσκευή σε ένα
δίκτυο 220 - 240 V, όταν ο διακόπτης
τάσης είναι ρυθμισμένος στα 100 -
127 V (ή το αντίθετο). Η συσκευή σε
αυτή την περίπτωση θα καταστραφεί και
η εγγύηση θα λήξει. Επικοινωνήστε με τον
παροχέα ενέργειας ή για παράδειγμα με
το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου σχετικά
με την τάση δικτύου στο δίκτυο ρεύματος.
Πρώτα συνδέστε το βύσμα με την πρίζα
και μετά ενεργοποιήστε τη συσκευή σας.

► Χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή αποκλειστικά

απαγορεύουν το σιδέρωμα (σύμβολο
τότε δεν επιτρέπεται να το σιδερώσετε.
Σε διαφορετική περίπτωση, μπορεί να το
καταστρέψετε.

► Σιδερώνετε μόνο σύμφωνα με τις ρυθμίσεις

θερμοκρασίας που αναφέρονται στις υπο­δείξεις περιποίησης και είναι κατάλληλες
για το υλικό. Σε διαφορετική περίπτωση,
μπορεί να φθείρετε τα ρούχα. Εάν δεν
γνωρίζετε τις υποδείξεις περιποίησης, τότε
ξεκινήστε με την ελάχιστη ρύθμιση θερμο­κρασίας.

► Επιτρέπεται να γεμίζετε το δοχείο νερού

αποκλειστικά με νερό βρύσης/αποσταγ
μένο νερό. Σε αντίθετη περίπτωση, θα
καταστρέψετε το ατμοσίδερο.

Πριν από την πρώτη χρήση

1) Απομακρύνετε το σίδερο από τη συσκευασία.

2) Απομακρύνετε όλα τα αυτοκόλλητα και τα μέρη μεμβρανών από
το σίδερο και από τον πάτο του σίδερου 8.

► Οι πλαστικές σακούλες μπορεί να είναι επικίνδυνες. Για

να αποφύγετε τον κίνδυνο πνιγμού, φυλάξτε τις πλαστικές
σακούλες εκτός εμβέλειας των παιδιών και βρεφών.

3) Ανοίξτε το στόμιο πλήρωσης δοχείου νερού 1 και γεμίστε το με
νερό (βλ. Κεφάλαιο Πλήρωση δοχείου νερού).

4) Ρυθμίστε με τον διακόπτη τάσης 7 τη σωστή τάση. Για το σκοπό
αυτό, χρησιμοποιήστε για παράδειγμα ένα λεπτό στυλό ή έναν
ανοιγμένο συνδετήρα.

― Ωθήστε το διακόπτη τάσης 7 προς τα δεξιά για να ρυθμίσετε

μια τάση 220 - 240 V (π.χ. για Ευρώπη/Ελβετία).

― Ωθήστε το διακόπτη τάσης 7 προς τα αριστερά για να ρυθμί-

σετε μια τάση 100 - 127 V (π.χ. ΗΠΑ/Ιαπωνία).

5) Τοποθετήστε το βύσμα σε μία πρίζα που να αντιστοιχεί στη
ρυθμισμένη τάση.

6) Θέστε το ρυθμιστή θερμοκρασίας 4 στη θέση «MAX»

7) Θερμάνετε το σίδερο μερικά λεπτά στην υψηλότερη βαθμίδα.

8) Εάν έχει ασφαλίσει: Πιέστε το διακόπτη ενεργοποίησης

ατμού
πάνω από την επιφάνεια του περιβλήματος. Έτσι θα
εξέρχεται μόνιμα ατμός από τον πάτο του σίδερου 8 όταν
κρατάτε το σίδερο οριζόντια.

9) Σιδερώστε στη συνέχεια ένα άχρηστο κομμάτι ύφασμα για να
εξαλείψετε ενδεχόμενες ακαθαρσίες από τον πάτο του σίδερου

8.

10) Πιέστε άλλη μια φορά το διακόπτη ενεργοποίησης ατμού

3, έτσι ώστε να ασφαλίσει πάλι. Η έξοδος ατμού

σταματάει.

Πλήρωση δοχείου νερού

1) Τοποθετήστε το σίδερο επάνω σε μια επίπεδη επιφάνεια.

2) Ανοίξτε το καπάκι του στομίου πλήρωσης δοχείου νερού 1.

3) Γεμίστε το δοχείο μέτρησης w έως τη σήμανση MAX με νερό
δικτύου και χύστε αυτό το νερό στο δοχείο νερού.

4) Κλείστε το καπάκι του στομίου πλήρωσης δοχείου νερού 1.

5) Σηκώστε κάθετα το σίδερο. Στα ανοίγματα ελέγχου 2 μπορείτε
να διαβάσετε τη μέγιστη στάθμη νερού.

Σύνδεση και σιδέρωμα

Στεγνό σιδέρωμα χωρίς ατμό είναι δυνατό σε όλες τις θερμοκρασίες,
σιδέρωμα με ατμό γίνεται από το σημείο ρύθμισης

ρυθμιστή θερμοκρασίας 4.

1) Συνδέστε το βύσμα σε μια πρίζα.

► Προτού συνδέσετε το ατμοσίδερο στο δίκτυο ρεύματος,

ελέγχετε πάντα εάν έχει ρυθμιστεί η σωστή τάση στο διακό­πτη τάσης 7 (βλ. Κεφάλαιο Πριν από την πρώτη χρήση).

► Εάν οι υποδείξεις φροντίδας στο ρούχο απαγορεύουν το

σιδέρωμα
διαφορετική περίπτωση, μπορεί να καταστρέψετε το ρούχο.

2) Ελέγξτε τις υποδείξεις φροντίδας στην ετικέτα του ρούχου και το
εάν ενδείκνυται το σιδέρωμα σε αυτό και σε ποια θερμοκρασία.

► Κατά το ζέσταμα τοποθετείτε το σίδερο πάντα στις βάσεις

στήριξης 6.

► Όταν το σίδερο στέκεται στις βάσεις στήριξης 6, σταματάει

αυτόματα η παραγωγή ατμού.

■ Η λυχνία ελέγχου 9 ανάβει. Όταν σβήσει η λυχνία ελέγχου 9,

τότε έχει επιτευχθεί η ρυθμισμένη θερμοκρασία.

4) Περιμένετε, έως ότου η λυχνία ελέγχου 9 σβήσει.

5) Εάν θέλετε να σιδερώσετε με ατμό, πιέστε το διακόπτη ενεργοποίη­σης ατμού

από την επιφάνεια του περιβλήματος. Ο ρυθμιστής θερμοκρασί­ας 4 πρέπει, για τη δημιουργία ατμού, να βρίσκεται στο σημείο

ρύθμισης

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

► Ενδιάμεσα μπορεί η λυχνία ελέγχου 9 να ανάβει και να

σβήνει πάλι. Δεν πρόκειται για ελαττωματική λειτουργία της
συσκευής, αλλά υποδηλώνει ότι η συσκευή αναθερμαίνεται,
ώστε να διατηρηθεί η θερμοκρασία.

6) Όταν θέλετε να τελειώσετε με το σιδέρωμα, περιστρέψτε το
ρυθμιστή θερμοκρασίας 4 στη σήμανση MIN, πιέστε μέσα το

διακόπτη ενεργοποίησης ατμού
από την πρίζα.

Καθαρισμός

► Πριν από τον καθαρισμό, αποσυνδέστε το βύσμα. Υπάρχει

κίνδυνος ηλεκτροπληξίας!

► Αφήνετε τη συσκευή να κρυώνει πριν από τον καθαρισμό.

Αλλιώς, υπάρχει κίνδυνος εγκαύματος!

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ - ΥΛΙΚΕΣ ΖΗΜΙΕΣ!

► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε άγρια, εκτριπτικά και χημικά μέσα καθα-

ρισμού. Αυτά μπορεί να βλάψουν την εξωτερική επιφάνεια
και να προκαλέσουν ανεπανόρθωτες βλάβες στη συσκευή.

■ Καθαρίζετε το περίβλημα μόνο με ένα μαλακό, στεγνό πανί.

■ Καθαρίστε τον πάτο του σίδερου 8 με ένα ελαφρώς νωπό πανί

με νερό. Σε περίπτωση επίμονων ακαθαρσιών, προσθέτετε ήπιο
απορρυπαντικό στο πανί. Στη συνέχεια, σκουπίστε με ένα πανί
βρεγμένο μόνο με νερό, ώστε να μην υπάρχουν υπολείμματα
απορρυπαντικού.

Αποθήκευση

► Αφήστε τη συσκευή να κρυώσει. Αλλιώς, υπάρχει κίνδυνος

εγκαύματος!

■ Αδειάστε τυχόν περισσευούμενο νερό από το δοχείο νερού, ανοί-

γοντας το στόμιο πλήρωσης δοχείου νερού 1, αναποδογυρίζο­ντας τη συσκευή πάνω από έναν νεροχύτη και περιστρέφοντάς
την ελαφρώς.

■ Τυλίξτε το καλώδιο δικτύου γύρω από τη διάταξη τύλιξης

καλωδίου q. Οδηγήστε το άκρο του καλωδίου μέσα από
το κλιπ καλωδίου 0, έτσι ώστε να στερεωθεί το καλώδιο.

■ Τοποθετήστε το σίδερο στη θήκη e και κλείστε τραβώντας το

φερμουάρ.

Απόρριψη

Σε καμία περίπτωση μην απορρίπτετε τη
συσκευή στα οικιακά απορρίμματα.
Αυτό το προϊόν υπόκειται στην Ευρωπαϊκή
Οδηγία 2012/19/ΕU.

Απορρίπτετε τη συσκευή μέσω μιας εγκεκριμένης επιχεί­ρησης απόρριψης ή μέσω της κοινοτικής επιχείρησης
απόρριψης. Τηρείτε τις ισχύουσες προδιαγραφές. Σε
περίπτωση αμφιβολιών, επικοινωνείτε με την αρμόδια
επιχείρηση απόρριψης.

Απομακρύνετε όλα τα υλικά συσκευασίας με έναν φιλικό
προς το περιβάλλον τρόπο.

Εγγύηση της Kompernass Handels

Η παρούσα συσκευή διαθέτει 3 χρόνια εγγύηση από την ημερο-

μηνία αγοράς. Στην περίπτωση ελλείψεων στο προϊόν έχετε νομικά
δικαιώματα έναντι του πωλητή του προϊόντος. Αυτά τα νομικά δικαιώ­ματα δεν περιορίζονται μέσω της κατωτέρω αναφερόμενης εγγύησης.

Προϋποθέσεις εγγύησης

Η περίοδος εγγύησης ξεκινάει κατά την ημερομηνία αγοράς. Φυ­λάξτε καλά την πρωτότυπη απόδειξη ταμείου. Αυτό το έγγραφο
απαιτείται ως απόδειξη για την αγορά.

Εάν, εντός τριών ετών από την ημερομηνία αγοράς, προκύψει στο
προϊόν αυτό σφάλμα υλικού ή κατασκευής, κατόπιν κρίσης μας,
επισκευάζουμε ή αντικαθιστούμε το προϊόν για εσάς δωρεάν. Η πα­ρούσα εγγύηση προϋποθέτει ότι εντός της περιόδου τριών ετών η
ελαττωματική συσκευή και η απόδειξη αγοράς (απόδειξη ταμείου)
θα υποβληθούν μαζί με σύντομη περιγραφή σχετικά με το που βρίσκε­ται η έλλειψη και πότε προέκυψε.

Εάν το ελάττωμα καλύπτεται από την εγγύησή μας, θα λάβετε το
επισκευασμένο ή ένα νέο προϊόν.

Περίοδος εγγύησης και νομικές απαιτήσεις λόγω ελλεί­ψεων

Ο χρόνος εγγύησης δεν παρατείνεται μέσω της παροχής εγγύησης.
Αυτό ισχύει και για εξαρτήματα, τα οποία έχουν αντικατασταθεί και
επισκευαστεί. Ενδεχόμενες ήδη υπάρχουσες ζημιές και ελλείψεις κατά
την αγορά πρέπει να γνωστοποιούνται αμέσως μετά την αποσυσκευ­ασία. Μετά τη λήξη του χρόνου εγγύησης, τυχόν εμφανιζόμενες
επισκευές χρεώνονται.

Εύρος εγγύησης

Η συσκευή κατασκευάστηκε σύμφωνα με αυστηρές οδηγίες ποιότητας
και ελέγχθηκε προσεκτικά πριν από την αποστολή.

Η απόδοση εγγύησης ισχύει για σφάλματα υλικού ή κατασκευής.
Η παρούσα εγγύηση δεν εκτείνεται σε τμήματα του προϊόντος, τα
οποία εκτίθενται σε φυσιολογική φθορά και έτσι μπορεί να θεωρού­νται εξαρτήματα φθοράς ή για ζημιές σε εύθραυστα εξαρτήματα,
π.χ. διακόπτες, συσσωρευτές, ταψιά ή εξαρτήματα που είναι κατα­σκευασμένα από γυαλί.

Η παρούσα εγγύηση ακυρώνεται εάν προκληθεί ζημιά στο προϊόν,
εάν δεν γίνεται σωστή χρήση ή συντήρηση. Για μια σωστή χρήση του
προϊόντος πρέπει να τηρούνται επακριβώς οι αναφερόμενες υπο­δείξεις στις οδηγίες χειρισμού. Σκοποί χρήσης και χειρισμοί που
δεν συνιστώνται ή για τους οποίους υπάρχει προειδοποίηση πρέπει
απαραίτητα να αποφεύγονται.

Το προϊόν προορίζεται μόνο για ιδιωτική και όχι για επαγγελματική
χρήση. Σε περίπτωση κακής μεταχείρισης και ακατάλληλης χρήσης,
χρήσης βίας και παρεμβάσεων, οι οποίες δεν διεξήχθησαν από το
εξουσιοδοτημένο μας τμήμα σέρβις, η εγγύηση παύει να ισχύει.

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpa­ckungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungs­technischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf
spart Rohstoffe und verringert das Abfallaufkommen.
Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien
gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

Beachten Sie die Kennzeichnung auf den verschiedenen

Verpackungsmaterialien und trennen Sie diese gege­benenfalls gesondert. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind

► Lassen Sie ein defektes Gerät umgehend von

müssen während des Einschaltens oder Ab­kühlens außer Reichweite von Kindern sein,
die jünger als 8 Jahre alt sind.

► Das Dampfbügeleisen muss auf einer

stabilen Oberfläche benutzt und abgestellt
werden.

► Stellen Sie das Bügeleisen nur auf einen ebe-

nen und hitzeunempfindlichen Untergrund.
Das Bügeleisen muss stabil stehen.

► Stellen Sie immer die zum verfügbaren

Stromnetz passende Netzspannung am Ge­rät ein. Betreiben Sie keinesfalls das Gerät

umgekehrt) eingestellt ist. Das Gerät würde
sonst zerstört werden und die Garantie

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch

1) Entnehmen Sie das Bügeleisen aus der Verpackung.

2) Entfernen Sie alle Aufkleber und Folienteile vom Bügeleisen und
der Bügelsohle 8.

ERSTICKUNGSGEFAHR!

► Plastiktüten können eine Gefahr darstellen. Um Erstickungsge-

fahr zu vermeiden, bewahren Sie die Plastiktüten außerhalb
der Reichweite von Babies und Kleinkindern auf.

3) Öffnen Sie die Einfüllöffnung Wassertank 1 und füllen Sie Wasser
in den Wassertank (siehe Kapitel Wassertank befüllen).

4) Stellen Sie mit dem Spannungsschalter 7 die korrekte Spannung
ein. Benutzen Sie hierfür zum Beispiel einen schmalen Stift oder
eine auseinandergebogene Büroklammer.

― Schieben Sie den Spannungsschalter 7 nach rechts, um eine

Spannung von 220 - 240 V einzustellen (z. B. für Europa /
Schweiz).

― Schieben Sie den Spannungsschalter 7 nach links, um eine

Spannung von 100 - 127 V einzustellen (z. B. USA / Japan).

5) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose, die der einge­stellten Spannung entspricht.

6) Stellen Sie den Temperaturregler 4 auf die Position „MAX“

7) Heizen Sie das Bügeleisen einige Minuten auf der höchsten Stufe
auf.

8) Falls eingerastet: Drücken Sie den Dampfzuschalter

so dass dieser sich löst und über die Oberfläche des Gehäu­ses herausragt. So tritt permanent Dampf aus der Bügelsohle
8 aus, wenn Sie das Bügeleisen waagerecht halten.

9) Bügeln Sie dann ein nicht mehr benötigtes Stück Stoff, um eventuelle
Unreinheiten von der Bügelsohle 8 zu beseitigen.

10) Drücken Sie noch einmal den Dampfzuschalter

so dass dieser wieder einrastet. Der Dampfaustritt wird
gestoppt.

Wassertank befüllen

1) Stellen Sie das Bügeleisen auf eine ebene Fläche.

2) Öffnen Sie den Deckel der Einfüllöffnung Wassertank 1.

3) Füllen Sie den Messbecher w bis zur Markierung MAX mit
Leitungswasser und füllen Sie dieses Wasser in den Wassertank.

4) Schließen Sie den Deckel der Einfüllöffnung Wassertank 1.

5) Heben Sie das Bügeleisen senkrecht an. In den Kontrollöffungen
2 können Sie den maximalen Wasserstand ablesen.

Anschließen und Bügeln

Trockenbügeln ohne Dampf können Sie bei allen Temperaturen,
Dampfbügeln ist erst ab dem Einstellbereich

turregler 4 möglich.

1) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!

► Kontrollieren Sie, bevor Sie das Dampfbügeleisen mit dem

Stromnetz verbinden, immer, ob die korrekte Spannung am
Spannungsschalter 7 eingestellt ist (siehe Kapitel Vor dem
ersten Gebrauch).

► Falls die Pflegehinweise in der Kleidung das Bügeln untersagen

, dürfen Sie das Kleidungsstück nicht bügeln. Sie könnten

das Kleidungsstück anderenfalls beschädigen.

2) Prüfen Sie die Pflegehinweise auf den Schildern in der Kleidung,
ob und bei welcher Temperatureinstellung das Kleidungsstück
zum Bügeln geeignet ist.

HINWEIS

► Stellen Sie das Bügeleisen während des Aufheizens immer auf die

Standfüße 6.
Wenn das Bügeleisen auf den Standfüßen 6 steht, wird die
Dampfproduktion automatisch gestoppt.

■ Die Kontrollleuchte 9 leuchtet. Wenn die Kontrollleuchte 9

erlischt, ist die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht.

4) Warten Sie, bis die Kontrollleuchte 9 erlischt.

5) Wenn Sie mit Dampf bügeln wollen, drücken Sie den Dampfzu­schalter

che des Gehäuses herausragt. Der Temperaturregler 4 muss zur
Dampferzeugung im Einstellbereich

HINWEIS

► Zwischendurch kann die Kontrollleuchte 9 immer wieder

aufleuchten und erlöschen. Dies ist keine Fehlfunktion des Gerätes
sondern bedeutet nur, dass das Gerät nachheizt, um die Tempera­tur zu halten.

6) Wenn Sie das Bügeln beenden wollen, drehen Sie den Tempera­turregler 4 auf MIN, drücken Sie den Dampfzuschalter

hinein und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

Reinigung

► Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung den Netzstecker. Es besteht die

► Lassen Sie das Gerät vor dem Reinigen abkühlen. Ansonsten

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!

► Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven, scheuernden oder chemi-

schen Reinigungsmittel. Diese können die Oberfläche angrei­fen und zu irreparablen Schäden am Gerät führen.

■ Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse nur mit einem weichen, trockenen

Tuch.

■ Reinigen Sie die Bügelsohle 8 mit einem leicht mit Wasser

befeuchtetem Tuch. Bei hartnäckigen Verschmutzungen geben
Sie ein mildes Spülmittel auf das Tuch. Wischen Sie mit einem nur
mit Wasser befeuchteten Tuch nach, so dass keine Spülmittelreste
mehr vorhanden sind.

Aufbewahrung

VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen. Ansonsten besteht Verbren-

nungsgefahr!

■ Leeren Sie Restwasser aus dem Wassertank aus, indem Sie die

Einfüllöffnung Wassertank 1 öffnen, das Gerät über einem
Spülbecken umdrehen und leicht schwenken.

■ Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel um die Kabelaufwicklung q. Führen

Sie das Ende des Kabels durch den Kabelclip 0, so dass das
Kabel fixiert ist.

■ Legen Sie das Bügeleisen in die Tasche e und ziehen Sie den

Reißverschluss zu.

Entsorgen

Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den nor­malen Hausmüll.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen
Richtlinie 2012/19/EU.

Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen
Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale Entsor­gungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden
Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer

Falle von Mängeln dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer

Garantiebedingungen

und vor Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.

Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese
Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung
ausgesetzt sind und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden
können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B.
Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile die aus Glas gefertigt sind.

Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachge­mäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung
des Produkts sind alle in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten
Anweisungen genau einzuhalten.Verwendungszwecke und Hand­lungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung abgeraten oder vor
denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.

Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen
Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer
Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von
