If your product does not work properly because of a defect in materials or workmanship, Panasonic Corporation of North America (referred to as “the warrantor”) will, for the length of the period indicated on the chart below, which starts with the date of original purchase (“warranty period”), at its option either (a) repair your product with new or refurbished parts, (b) replace it with a new or a refurbished equivalent value product, or (c) refund your purchase price. The noise canceling function
Environmental noises in airplanes, trains and buses, and noise caused by air-conditioners is reduced by 81%, providing a quieter listening environment. This function allows you to enjoy music without raising the volume too high, and is, therefore, kinder to your ears.
This unit mainly reduces low-frequency noise: as such, sounds with relatively high frequency components such as car horns, telephone ringers and people’s voices may not be attenuated very effectively.

Inserting the battery
Open the compartment lid by pressing
(A). Place the battery inside.
(R03/LR03, AAA)
Press in and down on the - end. Match the poles (+ and -).
Align the tab (B) with the notch and press on the top of the lid (C) to close the compartment lid.
Make sure that the compartment lid is firmly
seated on the left housing.
When to change the battery
Replace the battery when the noise canceling indicator begins blinking or goes out, or when the sound becomes distorted, low, or intermittent.
Set the noise canceling switch to “OFF” to use as normal headphones if the battery is run down or if there is no battery.
Using the headphones
Turn down the volume on the audio unit d or in-flight audio system e and insert the input plug (3.5 mm stereo) into the phone jack (use the plug adaptor a if necessary).
The input plug and the air plug adaptor may suit the jacks in some airplane armrests.
aBefore putting the headphones on Rotate both housings by approx. 90°.
The housings may be damaged if they are forcibly rotated in the opposite direction.
bCheck the sides (L and R), then put the headphones on. Move the sliders up or down to suit the housing position to your ears.
•Start play on the audio unit and adjust its volume; or,
•Adjust the volume on the in-flight audio system.
Turn on the noise canceling function.
aSet the noise canceling switch [NC] to “ON”.
Noise canceling indicator lights.
bReadjust the source volume.
The volume and sound quality change, optimizing the sound quality for this function.
Note
• While using the noise canceling function, a very small amount of noise which is generated from the circuit that reduces noise may be heard, but this is normal and not indicative of any trouble. (This very-low-level noise may be heard in quiet places where there is little noise or in the blank parts between tracks.)
•Noise may occur due to dirt on the plug. Clean the plug with a soft dry cloth if this occurs.
•Keep this unit away from something susceptible to the magnetism. Devices such as clocks may not operate correctly.
•Discontinue use if you experience discomfort. Continued use may cause rashes or other allergic reactions.

Insertion de la pile
Ouvrez le couvercle du logement en appuyant sur (A). Insérez la pile.

Pour cela, insérez d’abord et enfoncez l’extrémité -.
Respectez le sens de la polarité (+ et -).
Alignez la languette (B) sur l’entaille et appuyez sur le dessus du couvercle (C) pour fermer le couvercle du logement.
Assurez-vous que le couvercle du logement est solidement ancré dans le boîtier de
gauche.
Quand remplacer la pile
Remplacez la pile lorsque l’indicateur de suppression de bruit commence à clignoter ou s’éteint, ou lorsque le son devient distordu, faible ou intermittent.
Réglez le commutateur de suppression de bruit à “OFF” pour utiliser le casque d’écoute comme un casque d’écoute ordinaire lorsque la pile est déchargée ou lorsque aucune pile n’est insérée.
Utilisation du casque
Baissez le volume sur l’appareil audio d ou le système audio de bord eet insérez la fiche d’entrée (stéréo de 3,5 mm) dans la prise pour casque (utilisez la fiche adaptatrice a si nécessaire).

Vous risquez d’abîmer les boîtiers si vous les faites pivoter dans le sens opposé.
bVérifiez les côtés gauche et droit (L et R), puis mettez le casque. Déplacez les coulisses vers le haut ou le bas pour adapter les boîtiers à vos oreilles.
•Commencez la lecture sur l’équipement audio et réglez son volume; ou,
•Réglez le volume du système audio de bord.
Activez la fonction de suppression de bruit.
aMettez le commutateur de suppression de bruit [NC] sur “ON”.
Le témoin de suppression de bruit s’allume.
bRéglez à nouveau le volume sur la source.
Le volume et la qualité sonore changent, optimisant la qualité sonore pour cette fonction.
Nota
•Lors de l’utilisation de la fonction de suppression de bruit, un très faible son, généré par le processeur réduisant le bruit, peut être entendu. Ceci est normal et n’est le signe d’aucune anomalie. (Ce très faible son peut être entendu dans des endroits tranquilles ou lors de transitions entre les chansons.)
•La présence de poussière sur la prise risque d’engendrer du bruit. Nettoyez alors la prise avec un chiffon sec et doux.

Inserción de la pila
