Read this guide for important safety and health information and the terms of the Limited Warranty that apply to the Microsoft® device that you have purchased.

Warning Failure to properly set up, use, and care for this product can increase the risk of serious injury or death, or damage to the device or devices. Important Safety Information

AC-Powered Devices

These precautions apply to all products that plug into a standard wall power outlet.

Failure to take the following precautions can result in serious injury or death from electric shock or fire or in damage to the device.

To select an appropriate power source for your device:

●Use only the power supply unit and AC power cord that came with your device or that you received from an authorized repair center.

●Confirm that your electrical outlet provides the type of power indicated on the power supply unit

(in terms of voltage [V] and frequency [Hz]). If you are not sure of the type of power supplied to your home, consult a qualified electrician.

●Do not use non-standard power sources, such as generators or inverters, even if the voltage and frequency appear acceptable. Only use AC power provided by a standard wall outlet.

●Do not overload your wall outlet, extension cord, power strip, or other electrical receptacle. Confirm that they are rated to handle the total current (in amps [A]) drawn by the device (indicated on the power supply unit) and any other devices that are on the same circuit.

To avoid damaging the power cords and power supply:

●Protect the power cords from being walked on.

●Protect cords from being pinched or sharply bent, particularly where they connect to the power outlet, the power supply unit, and the device.

●Do not jerk, knot, sharply bend, or otherwise abuse the power cords.

●Do not expose the power cords to sources of heat.

●Keep children and pets away from the power cords. Do not allow them to bite or chew on them.

●When disconnecting the power cords, pull on the plug—do not pull on the cord.

If a power cord or power supply becomes damaged in any way, stop using it immediately. Unplug your device during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

For devices with an AC power cord that connects to the power supply, always connect the power cord according to the following instructions:

1Plug the AC power cord into the power supply until it stops.

2Plug the other end of the AC power cord into the wall outlet.

Battery-Powered Devices

These precautions apply to all products that use rechargeable or disposable batteries.

Improper use of batteries may result in battery fluid leakage, overheating, or explosion. Released battery fluid is corrosive and may be toxic. It can cause skin and eye burns, and is harmful if swallowed.

To reduce the risk of injury:

●Keep batteries out of reach of children.

●Do not heat, open, puncture, mutilate, or dispose of batteries in fire.

●Do not mix new and old batteries or batteries of different types (for example, carbon-zinc and alkaline batteries).

●Do not allow metal objects to touch the battery terminals on the device; they can become hot and cause burns.

●Remove the batteries if they are worn out or before storing your device for an extended period of time.

●Always remove old, weak, or worn-out batteries promptly and recycle or dispose of them in accordance with Local and National Disposal Regulations.

●If a battery leaks, remove all batteries, taking care to keep the leaked fluid from touching your skin or clothes. If fluid from the battery comes into contact with skin or clothes, flush skin with water immediately. Before inserting new batteries, thoroughly clean the battery compartment with a damp paper towel, or follow the battery manufacturer’s recommendations for cleanup.

Disposable (non-rechargeable) batteries only:

●Caution Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Use and replace only with correct size and type (alkaline, zinc-carbon, or zinc-chloride) of batteries.

Rechargeable batteries only:

●Caution Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Use and replace only with the same type and rating as the batteries provided.

●Charge only with the recharger provided with the product.

Lithium button cell batteries only:

● Perchlorate Material — special handling may apply. See: www.dtsc.ca.gov/hazardouswaste/perchlorate

Headset Devices

Extended exposure to high volumes when using a headset may result in temporary or permanent hearing loss.

To prevent damage to your headset, avoid sitting or stepping on the headset, its cable, or the cable connector.

Webcam Devices

Webcam with magnetic and adhesive mounting

After the adhesive attachment disc has been applied to the mounting surface, removing it may damage the cosmetic coating and/or leave an adhesive residue.

Applying the attachment disc next to or directly to a CRT-based display screen may cause permanent visual distortion of the displayed image near the area mounted.

Wireless Devices

Before boarding any aircraft or packing a wireless device in luggage that will be checked, remove the batteries from the wireless device or turn the wireless device off (if it has an on/off switch). Wireless devices can transmit radio frequency (RF) energy, much like a cellular telephone, whenever batteries are installed and the wireless device is turned on (if it has an on/off switch).

Keyboard and Mouse Devices

Health Warning

Use of a keyboard or mouse may be linked to serious injuries or disorders.

When using a computer, as with many activities, you may experience occasional discomfort in your hands, arms, shoulders, neck, or other parts of your body. However, if you experience symptoms such as persistent or recurring discomfort, pain, throbbing, aching, tingling, numbness, burning sensation, or stiffness,

DO NOT IGNORE THESE WARNING SIGNS. PROMPTLY SEE A QUALIFIED HEALTH PROFESSIONAL, even if symptoms occur when you are not working at your computer. Symptoms like these can be associated with painful and sometimes permanently disabling injuries or disorders of the nerves, muscles, tendons, or other parts of the body. These musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) include carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, tenosynovitis, and other conditions.

While researchers are not yet able to answer many questions about MSDs, there is general agreement that many factors may be linked to their occurrence, including: overall health, stress and how one copes with it, medical and physical conditions, and how a person positions and uses his or her body during work and other activities (including use of a keyboard or mouse). The amount of time a person performs an activity may also be a factor.

Some guidelines that may help you work more comfortably with your computer and possibly reduce your risk of experiencing an MSD can be found in the “Healthy Computing Guide” installed with this device’s software. If this device did not come with software, you can access the “Healthy Computing Guide” at www.microsoft.com/hardware or (in the United States only) by calling (800) 60-756 to request a CD at no charge.

Devices with Laser Pointers

Caution Use of controls or adjustments, or performance of procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.

●Do not stare into beam.

●Do not shine a laser pointer at anyone. Laser pointers are designed to illuminate inanimate objects.

●Do not allow minors to use a pointer unsupervised. Laser pointers are not toys.

●Do not point a laser pointer at a mirror-like (reflective) surface. A reflected beam can act like a direct beam on the eye.

●Do not disassemble the device.

●Do not use the device outside of its specified operating temperature range +41ºF (+5ºC) to +95ºF (+35ºC). If the device is exposed to an environment outside of its prescribed operation, turn off the device and allow the temperature to stabilize within the specified operating range before using the device.

Do Not Attempt Repairs

Do not attempt to take apart, open, service, or modify the hardware device or power supply. Doing so could present the risk of electric shock or other hazard. Any evidence of any attempt to open and/or modify the device, including any peeling, puncturing, or removal of any of the labels, will void the Limited Warranty.

Choking Hazard

This device may contain small parts which may be a choking hazard to children under . Keep small parts away from children.

Usage and Cleaning

Use in accordance with these instructions:

●Do not use near any heat sources.

●Only use attachments/accessories specified by Microsoft.

●Clean only with dry cloth.

Keeping Cables Out of the Way of People and Pets

Arrange all cables and cords so that people and pets are not likely to trip over or accidentally pull on them as they move around or walk through the area. When the product is not in use, you may need to disconnect all cables and cords from the front and rear of the product to keep them out of the reach of children and pets.

Do not allow children to play with cables and cords.

Laser Devices

This device complies with International Standard IEC60825-1:1993+A1+A2 (IEC 60825-1:2001-08) for a Class 1 and Class 2 laser product. This device also complies with 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040.11 except for deviations pursuant to Laser Notice No. 50, dated June 2 , 2007.

Limited Warranty

IMPORTANT—PLEASE READ THIS LIMITED WARRANTY CAREFULLY TO UNDERSTAND YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS! The term “Hardware Device” means the Microsoft hardware product. The term “You” means either an individual or a single legal entity who will be referred to in this Limited Warranty as “You” and “Your”.

A. WARRANTIES.

1. Express Warranty. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty and in lieu of any other (if any) express warranties, Microsoft warrants that under normal use and service, on the date of acquisition as shown on Your receipt or similar proof of payment and for the next i) 90 days for the SOFTWARE and ii) period of time stated below for the applicable Hardware Device (hereafter each defined as the “Warranty Period”), that the SOFTWARE and Hardware Device will substantially conform with the accompanying Microsoft packaging and documentation. As to any defects discovered after the Warranty Period, there is no warranty or condition of any kind.

The express warranty stated above is the only express warranty made to You and is provided in lieu of all other express or implied warranties and conditions (except for any non-disclaimable implied warranties that exist), including any created by any other documentation or packaging. No information or suggestions (oral or in a record) given by Microsoft, its agents, affiliates or suppliers or its or their employees or agents, shall create a warranty or condition or expand the scope of this Limited Warranty. The “Governing Law; Exclusive Forum” provision of Part 2 of the

Agreement applies to this Limited Warranty and is incorporated herein by this reference.

2. Limitation on Duration of Implied Warranties. If You are a consumer, You may also have an implied warranty and/or condition under the laws of some jurisdictions, which is hereby limited to the duration of the Warranty Period. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty or condition lasts, so the foregoing limitation may not apply to You.

B. EXCLUSIVE REMEDY. Subject to applicable law and the following, and provided that You return the SOFTWARE and Hardware Device to Your place of acquisition (or, if that place will not accept the return, to Microsoft) with a copy of Your receipt or other bona fide proof of payment during the Warranty Period, Microsoft will, at its option and as Your exclusive remedy for breach of this Limited Warranty and any implied warranties:

repair or replace all or part of the defective SOFTWARE or the defective Hardware Device; or

make payment to You for the allowable damages that You incurred in reasonable reliance, but only up to the amount You paid (if any) for the SOFTWARE and/or the Hardware Device less reasonable depreciation based on actual use.

The above remedy is subject to the following:

Any repaired or replaced SOFTWARE or Hardware Device will be new or refurbished or serviceably used, comparable in function and performance to the original Hardware Device (or SOFTWARE), and may include third party items;

Any SOFTWARE or Hardware Device repaired or replaced under this Limited Warranty will be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or 30 days from the date of shipment of the item back to You, whichever is longer. If an upgrade to SOFTWARE is delivered with a new limited warranty, then the terms of that new limited warranty will apply only to the SOFTWARE as upgraded, but will not apply to the original Hardware Device;

Except as otherwise required by legislation in Your jurisdiction, costs associated with transport (including packaging) for warranty service shall be at Your expense; and

Microsoft does not provide any warranties regarding any other services provided under this Limited Warranty and disclaims all duties (if any) of workmanlike effort or of lack of negligence regarding such services.

C. EXCLUSION OF OTHER DAMAGES. TO THE FULL EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, MICROSOFT AND ITS SUPPLIERS, AFFILIATES AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY:

(i)CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES;

(ii)DAMAGES OR LOSS OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER RELATING TO LOST PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF DATA OR PRIVACY OR CONFIDENTIALITY, ANY INABILITY TO USE ALL OR PART OF THE HARDWARE DEVICE OR SOFTWARE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR ANY FAILURE TO MEET ANY DUTY (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY DUTY OF NEGLIGENCE, GOOD FAITH OR OF WORKMANLIKE EFFORT); OR

(iii)INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING IN ANY WAY TO THE SOFTWARE OR HARDWARE DEVICE. THE FOREGOING APPLIES EVEN IF MICROSOFT OR ANY SUPPLIER, AFFILIATE OR AGENT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSSES OR DAMAGES; AND EVEN IN THE EVENT OF FAULT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT OR PRODUCT LIABILITY, MISREPRESENTATION OR OTHER REASON.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusions many not apply to You.

D. EXCLUSIONS FROM COVERAGE. This Limited Warranty shall not apply and Microsoft has no liability under this Limited

Warranty if the SOFTWARE or Hardware Device:

-is used for commercial purposes (including rental or lease) or purposes beyond the scope of the SOFTWARE license;

-is modified or tampered with;

-is damaged by Acts of God, power surge, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, wear and tear, mishandling, misapplication, or other causes unrelated to defects in the Hardware Device or the SOFTWARE;

-is damaged by programs, data, viruses, or files, or during shipments or transmissions;

-is not used in accordance with the accompanying documentation and use instructions; or

-is repaired, modified or altered by other than a Microsoft authorized repair center and the unauthorized center causes or contributes to any defect or damage.

This Limited Warranty does not include any warranty regarding legal rights or abilities, such as any warranty regarding title, quiet enjoyment or lack of infringement.

E.REGISTRATION. You need not register Your acquisition of the SOFTWARE and Hardware Device for the Limited Warranty to be effective.

F.BENEFICIARY. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the Limited Warranty is only made to You, the first licensed user of the SOFTWARE or purchaser of the Hardware Device, and there are no third party beneficiaries of the Limited Warranty. Except as required by law, this Limited Warranty is not intended for and does not apply to anyone else, including anyone to whom You make any transfer as authorized in the Agreement.

G.FURTHER INFORMATION. Microsoft is the warrantor under this Limited Warranty. To receive instructions for obtaining performance of this Limited Warranty You must either contact the Microsoft subsidiary serving Your country, or write to:

You must also:

1.Submit proof of payment in the form of a bona fide, dated receipt, or invoice (or a copy) evidencing that You are the beneficiary of this Limited Warranty and that Your request for a remedy is made within the Warranty Period;

2.Follow Microsoft’s shipping and other instructions if it determines that all or part of Your Hardware Device or SOFTWARE requires return. To obtain the Limited Warranty performance, You must take or deliver the item in either its original packaging or packaging that provides an equal degree of protection to the location specified by Microsoft. Except as otherwise required by legislation in Your jurisdiction, costs associated with transport (including packaging) for warranty service shall be at Your expense.

3.Delete or remove any files or data You consider private or confidential prior to sending the item to Microsoft.

Apparaten op netspanning

Deze voorzorgsmaatregelen zijn van toepassing op alle producten die op een standaardwandcontactdoos kunnen worden aangesloten.

Het niet in acht nemen van de volgende voorzorgsmaatregelen kan leiden tot schade aan het apparaat of tot ernstige verwondingen of de dood als gevolg van een elektrische schok of brand.

De juiste voedingsbron voor uw apparaat selecteren:

●Gebruik alleen de voedingseenheid en het netsnoer die bij het apparaat zijn geleverd of die u van een erkend reparatiecentrum hebt ontvangen.

●Controleer of de wandcontactdoos het type spanning levert dat op de voedingseenheid staat aangegeven (wat betreft het voltage [V] en de frequentie [Hz]). Raadpleeg een erkende elektricien als u niet weet welk type spanning u thuis krijgt aangeleverd.

●Gebruik geen afwijkende voedingsbronnen zoals generatoren of inverters, zelfs niet als het voltage en de frequentie geschikt lijken. Gebruik alleen wisselstroom die via een standaardwandcontactdoos wordt geleverd.

●Belast uw wandcontactdoos, verlengsnoer, verdeeldoos of andere elektrische stopcontacten niet te zwaar. Controleer of deze de totale hoeveelheid stroom (in ampère [A]) aankunnen die wordt

opgenomen door het apparaat of andere apparaten die op hetzelfde circuit zijn aangesloten (en zoals staat vermeld op de voedingseenheid).

Schade aan de voedingskabels en de voedingseenheid voorkomen:

●Zorg dat niemand op de voedingskabels kan gaan staan.

●Zorg dat kabels niet kunnen worden geklemd of geknikt, vooral wanneer de kabels zijn aangesloten op de wandcontactdoos, de voedingseenheid en het betreffende apparaat.

●Trek niet aan de kabels, knoop of buig de kabels niet en voorkom dat deze op andere wijze beschadigd raken.

●Stel de voedingskabels niet bloot aan warmtebronnen.

●Houd kinderen en huisdieren uit de buurt van de voedingskabels. Laat kinderen of huisdieren niet op de kabels bijten of kauwen.

●Trek bij het loskoppelen van de voedingskabel aan de stekker en niet aan het snoer.

Stop onmiddellijk met het gebruik van de voedingskabel of de voedingseenheid indien deze beschadigd zijn. Haal tijdens onweersbuien of wanneer u het apparaat gedurende langere tijd niet gebruikt, de stekker uit de wandcontactdoos.

Zorg dat voor apparaten met een netsnoer dat op de voedingseenheid is aangesloten, het netsnoer altijd op de volgende manier wordt aangesloten:

1Steek de stekker van het netsnoer in de aansluiting op de voedingseenheid totdat deze niet verder kan.

2Steek de andere stekker van het netsnoer in de wandcontactdoos.

Apparaten met batterijen

Deze voorzorgsmaatregelen zijn van toepassing op alle producten die gebruikmaken van wegwerpof oplaadbare batterijen.

Het niet correct gebruiken van de batterijen kan leiden tot lekkage van de batterijen, oververhitting of een explosie. De vloeistof die uit de batterijen kan lekken, is corrosief en mogelijk giftig. Het kan een branderig gevoel van de huid of ogen veroorzaken en is schadelijk indien het wordt ingeslikt.

Het risico op verwondingen beperken:

●Houd batterijen buiten het bereik van kinderen.

●Batterijen niet verhitten, openen, doorboren, kapot maken of verbranden.

● Gebruik nieuwe en oude batterijen en verschillende soorten batterijen (bijvoorbeeld batterijen met zinkcarbonaat en alkalinebatterijen) niet door elkaar.

●Zorg dat de batterijhouders op het apparaat niet in aanraking komen met metalen voorwerpen.

De houders kunnen warm worden en brandwonden veroorzaken.

●Verwijder de batterijen wanneer deze leeg zijn of wanneer u het apparaat voor langere tijd opbergt.

●Verwijder oude, zwakke en lege batterijen onmiddellijk en recycle deze of gooi ze weg overeenkomstig lokale en nationale voorschriften voor afvalverwerking.

●Als een batterij lekt, moeten alle batterijen worden verwijderd. Zorg ervoor dat de gelekte vloeistof niet in aanraking komt met uw huid of kleding. Als vloeistof uit de batterij in contact komt met uw huid of kleding, moet deze onmiddellijk worden afgespoeld met water. Het batterijcompartiment moet zorgvuldig worden gereinigd met een vochtig stuk keukenpapier voordat u nieuwe batterijen plaatst. U kunt ook de reinigingsvoorschriften van de batterijenfabrikant volgen.

Alleen voor wegwerpbatterijen (niet-oplaadbaar):

●Waarschuwing gevaar voor explosie indien de batterij niet door het juiste type wordt vervangen. Alleen gebruiken met en vervangen door het juiste type batterijen (alkaline, zinkkoolstof of zinkchloride).

Alleen voor oplaadbare batterijen:

●Waarschuwing gevaar voor explosie indien de batterij niet door het juiste type wordt vervangen.

Alleen gebruiken met en vervangen door batterijen van hetzelfde type en met dezelfde waarde als de meegeleverde batterijen.

●Alleen opladen met de lader die bij het product is geleverd.

Alleen voor lithiumbatterijen:

Hoofdtelefoons

Langdurige blootstelling aan hoge volumes bij het gebruik van een hoofdtelefoon kan leiden tot tijdelijke of permanente gehoorbeschadiging.

Ga niet op de hoofdtelefoon, het snoer of de connector staan, om schade te voorkomen.

Webcams

Webcam met magnetische en hechtende bevestiging

Als de hechtende schijf op het bevestigingsoppervlak is aangebracht, kan het oppervlak beschadigd raken en/of kan er kleefstof op achterblijven als u het apparaat weer verwijdert.

Als u de bevestigingsschijf vlak bij een CRT-scherm plaatst, kan er permanente beeldvervorming optreden op het deel van het scherm in de buurt van de schijf.

Draadloze apparaten

Voordat u aan boord gaat van een vliegtuig of voordat u een draadloos apparaat in bagage stopt die moet worden ingecheckt, dient u de batterijen uit het draadloze apparaat te verwijderen of het apparaat uit te schakelen (het apparaat heeft een aan-/uitschakelaar). Zodra de batterijen zijn geplaatst of het draadloze apparaat is ingeschakeld (indien het apparaat een aan-/uitschakelaar heeft), kan het draadloze apparaat radiofrequentie-energie uitstralen.

Toetsenborden en muizen

Gezondheidswaarschuwing

Het gebruik van een toetsenbord of muis kan leiden tot ernstig letsel of aandoeningen.

Wanneer u een computer gebruikt, kunt u, net als bij vele andere activiteiten, soms last hebben van uw handen, armen, schouders, nek of andere lichaamsdelen. Als u echter voortdurend of herhaaldelijk last hebt van een ongemakkelijk, pijnlijk of kloppend gevoel, pijnscheuten, tintelingen, verdoofde lichaamsdelen, een branderig gevoel of stijfheid, MAG U DEZE SYMPTOMEN NIET NEGEREN. RAADPLEEG DIRECT EEN BEVOEGDE ARTS, zelfs als deze symptomen voorkomen terwijl u niet aan uw computer werkt. Deze symptomen kunnen leiden tot pijnlijk en soms chronisch letsel en tot aandoeningen van de zenuwen, spieren, pezen en andere delen van het lichaam. Onder deze aandoeningen van spieren en botten vallen het carpaal-tunnelsyndroom, peesontsteking, peesschedeontsteking en andere aandoeningen.

Hoewel onderzoekers veel vragen over dergelijke klachten nog niet kunnen beantwoorden, is men het erover eens dat het ontstaan van deze klachten verband kan houden met factoren als: de algemene gezondheidstoestand, stress en de manier waarop men daarmee omgaat, de lichamelijke conditie, de lichaamshouding en bewegingen tijdens werk en andere activiteiten, waaronder het gebruik van een toetsenbord of muis. Hoe lang iemand een bepaalde activiteit verricht kan ook van belang zijn.

Enkele richtlijnen die u kunnen helpen om comfortabeler met uw computer te werken en waarmee u misschien het risico op deze klachten kunt beperken, vindt u in de "Healthy Computing Guide" (Handleiding voor gezond computergebruik), die met de software van dit apparaat zijn geïnstalleerd. Apparaten met laseraanwijzers

Waarschuwing het gebruik van bedieningselementen of aanpassingen, of de uitvoering van procedures die hier niet in zijn beschreven, kunnen leiden tot blootstelling aan gevaarlijke straling.

●Kijk niet in de laserstraal.

●Richt de laseraanwijzer niet op personen. Laseraanwijzers zijn ontworpen om levenloze objecten te verlichten.

●Laat minderjarigen de aanwijzer alleen onder toezicht gebruiken. Laseraanwijzers zijn geen speelgoed.

●Richt de laseraanwijzer niet op spiegelende (reflecterende) oppervlakken. Een reflecterende straal kan hetzelfde effect hebben als een straal die recht op iemands ogen wordt gericht.

●Haal het apparaat niet uit elkaar.

●Gebruik het apparaat niet buiten het opgegeven gebruikstemperatuurbereik van +5ºC tot +35ºC. Als het apparaat wordt blootgesteld aan een omgeving buiten het voorgeschreven temperatuurbereik, schakelt u het uit en gebruikt u het pas weer als de temperatuur is gestabiliseerd binnen het voorgeschreven temperatuurbereik.

Alle apparaten

Probeer het apparaat niet te repareren

Probeer de hardware of de voedingseenheid niet uit elkaar te halen, te openen, te repareren of anderszins te wijzigen. Als u dit wel doet, loopt u risico op een elektrische schok of blootstelling aan ander gevaar. Tekenen die er op wijzen dat u hebt geprobeerd het apparaat te openen of anderszins te wijzigen, zoals het lostrekken, doorprikken of verwijderen van een van de labels, zullen de garantiebepalingen doen vervallen.

Verstikkingsgevaar

Dit apparaat bevat mogelijk kleine onderdelen waar kinderen onder de jaar in kunnen stikken. Houd kleine onderdelen uit de buurt van kinderen.

Gebruik en reiniging

Volg bij het gebruik onderstaande instructies op:

●Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van warmtebronnen.

●Gebruik alleen door Microsoft voorgeschreven hulpstukken en accessoires.

●Reinig het apparaat alleen met een droge doek.

Kabels uit de buurt van mens en dier houden

Plaats kabels en snoeren zo dat mensen en huisdieren er niet over kunnen struikelen of eraan kunnen trekken als ze in het vertrek rondlopen. Wanneer het product niet wordt gebruikt, kan het nodig zijn kabels en snoeren aan de vooren achterzijde los te koppelen om ze buiten bereik van kinderen en huisdieren te houden. Laat kinderen niet met kabels en snoeren spelen.

Laseren LED-specificaties

Waarschuwing het gebruik van bedieningselementen of aanpassingen, of de uitvoering van procedures die hier niet in zijn beschreven, kunnen leiden tot blootstelling aan gevaarlijke straling.

Verwerken van afgedankte batterijen en afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparaten

Dit symbool op het product of de verpakking betekent dat het product niet met het huishoudelijk afval mag worden weggegooid. Het is uw eigen verantwoordelijkheid het product af te leveren

Betegnelsen “De” betyder enten en fysisk person eller en juridisk enhed, som vil blive refereret til i denne Begrænsede Garanti som “De” og “Deres”.

A. GARANTIES.

1. Expliciete garantie. Niettegenstaande de bepalingen en voorwaarden in deze Beperkte garantie en in plaats van enige andere (indien aanwezig) expliciete garanties, garandeert Microsoft dat, bij normaal gebruik en onderhoud, op de datum van aanschaf zoals deze wordt weergegeven op uw kassabon of gelijkaardig betalingsbewijs, en gedurende de

daaropvolgende i) 90 dagen voor de SOFTWARE en ii) hieronder vermelde periode voor het betreffende Hardwareapparaat

(elk hierna aangeduid als de “Garantieperiode”), de SOFTWARE en het Hardwareapparaat in hoofdzaak zullen functioneren overeenkomstig de meegeleverde Microsoft-verpakking en -documentatie. Wat betreft fouten die worden ontdekt na de

Garantieperiode, bestaat er geen garantie of voorwaarde, van welke aard dan ook. Garantieperiode:

Deze Beperkte garantie voorziet op geen enkele manier in een vergoeding van welke aard dan ook met betrekking tot enige subjectieve of esthetische aspecten van het Hardwareapparaat of de SOFTWARE. De bovenstaande expliciete garantie is de enige expliciete garantie die aan u wordt verleend en deze komt in plaats van alle andere expliciete of impliciete garanties en voorwaarden (behalve voor enige impliciete garanties die niet van de hand kunnen worden gewezen), inclusief garanties op basis van enige andere documentatie of verpakking. Aan informatie of suggesties (mondeling of schriftelijk) van Microsoft, haar agenten, gelieerde ondernemingen of leveranciers kan geen garantie of voorwaarde worden ontleend en deze kunnen het bereik van deze Beperkte garantie ook niet vergroten. De bepaling “Toepasselijk recht; Exclusief forum” in deel 2 van de

Overeenkomst is van toepassing op deze Beperkte garantie en maakt hiervan door deze verwijzing integraal deel uit.

2. Beperking met betrekking tot de duur van impliciete garanties. Als u een consument bent, beschikt u onder de wetten van bepaalde rechtsgebieden mogelijk ook over een impliciete garantie en/of voorwaarde, welke hierbij wordt beperkt tot de duur van de Garantieperiode. In sommige rechtsgebieden zijn beperkingen wat betreft de duur van een impliciete garantie of voorwaarde niet toegestaan, wat inhoudt dat de voorgaande beperking niet voor u van toepassing is.

B. EXCLUSIEVE VERHAALSMOGELIJKHEDEN. Niettegenstaande het toepasselijk recht en het volgende, en vooropgesteld dat u de SOFTWARE en het Hardwareapparaat gedurende de Garantieperiode retourneert naar de plaats van aankoop

(of, als deze items aldaar niet worden geaccepteerd, naar Microsoft) met een kopie van uw kassabon of een ander geldig betalingsbewijs, zal Microsoft, naar eigen keuze en als uw exclusieve verhaalsmogelijkheid voor schending van deze

Beperkte garantie en enige impliciete garanties: de SOFTWARE of het Hardwareapparaat met fouten in zijn geheel of gedeeltelijk herstellen of repareren; of de door u in redelijk vertrouwen opgelopen schade vergoeden, waarbij het te vergoeden bedrag maximaal gelijk is aan het bedrag dat u hebt betaald (indien u hebt betaald) voor de SOFTWARE en/of het Hardwareapparaat, met aftrek van een redelijk bedrag wegens waardevermindering door werkelijk gebruik.

De bovenstaande verhaalsmogelijkheid is onderworpen aan het volgende:

Enige herstelde of vervangen SOFTWARE of enig hersteld of vervangen Hardwareapparaat zal nieuw, gerepareerd of gebruikt zijn, maar wat betreft functie en prestaties vergelijkbaar met het originele Hardwareapparaat (of de originele

SOFTWARE), en kan items van derde partijen bevatten;

Voor enige SOFTWARE die, of enig Hardwareapparaat dat is hersteld of vervangen onder deze Beperkte garantie, wordt garantie verleend voor de rest van de originele Garantieperiode of voor 30 dagen vanaf de datum waarop het item naar u is teruggezonden, afhankelijk van welke van de twee langer is. Als een upgrade voor SOFTWARE wordt geleverd met een nieuwe beperkte garantie, zijn de bepalingen van die nieuwe beperkte garantie alleen van toepassing op de bijgewerkte

SOFTWARE en niet op het originele Hardwareapparaat;

Tenzij volgens de wetgeving in uw rechtsgebied anders is bepaald, zijn de transportkosten (inclusief verpakking) die gepaard gaan met de garantieservice voor uw rekening; en

Microsoft verleent geen enkele garantie voor andere services die worden geleverd volgens deze Beperkte garantie, en wijst alle verplichtingen (indien aanwezig) van professionele inspanning of nalatigheid met betrekking tot dergelijke services van de hand.

C. UITSLUITING VAN ANDERE SOORTEN SCHADE. VOOR ZOVER DIT ONDER HET RECHT IS TOEGESTAAN, STELLEN MICROSOFT NOCH HAAR LEVERANCIERS, GELIEERDE ONDERNEMINGEN OF AGENTEN ZICH AANSPRAKELIJK VOOR ENIGE:

(i)GEVOLGSCHADE OF INCIDENTELE SCHADE;

(ii)SCHADE OF VERLIES VAN WELKE AARD DAN OOK WEGENS WINSTDERVING, ONDERBREKING VAN DE BEDRIJFSVOERING, VERLIES VAN GEGEVENS, PRIVACY OF VERTROUWELIJKHEID, HET NIET KUNNEN GEBRUIKEN VAN HET VOLLEDIGE HARDWAREAPPARAAT OF DE VOLLEDIGE SOFTWARE OF EEN DEEL HIERVAN, PERSOONLIJK LETSEL OF HET NIET NAKOMEN VAN ENIGE VERPLICHTING (INCLUSIEF, MAAR NIET BEPERKT TOT ENIGE VERPLICHTING WAT BETREFT NALATIGHEID, GOED VERTROUWEN OF PROFESSIONELE INSPANNING); OF

(iii)INDIRECTE SCHADE, SPECIALE SCHADE OF EEN DOOR HET GERECHT OPGELEGDE SCHADEVERGOEDING, DIE VOORKOMT UIT OF IN ENIGERLEI WIJZE IN VERBAND STAAT MET DE SOFTWARE OF HET HARDWAREAPPARAAT. HET VOORGAANDE IS ZELFS VAN TOEPASSING ALS MICROSOFT OF ENIGE LEVERANCIER, GELIEERDE ONDERNEMING OF AGENT OP DE HOOGTE WAS VAN DE MOGELIJKHEID VAN DERGELIJKE VERLIEZEN OF SCHADE; EN ZELFS IN HET GEVAL VAN FOUTEN, WETTELIJK OMSCHREVEN ONRECHTMATIGE DADEN (INCLUSIEF NALATIGHEID), STRIKTE OF PRODUCTAANSPRAKELIJKHEID, ONJUISTE VOORSTELLING OF EEN ANDERE REDEN.

Bepaalde jurisdicties staan geen uitsluiting of beperking van gevolgschade of incidentele schade toe. Hierdoor kan het zijn dat bovenstaande beperking of uitsluitingen niet voor u gelden.

D. UITSLUITINGEN VAN DEKKING. Deze Beperkte garantie is niet van toepassing en Microsoft is niet aansprakelijk volgens deze Beperkte garantie als de SOFTWARE of het Hardwareapparaat:

-wordt gebruikt voor commerciële doeleinden (inclusief verhuur of lease) of doeleinden buiten het bereik van de

SOFTWARE-licentie;

-is gewijzigd of ermee is geknoeid;

-is beschadigd door overmacht, een stroompiek, verkeerd gebruik, misbruik, nalatigheid, ongeluk, slijtage, verkeerde behandeling, verkeerde toepassing of andere oorzaken die geen verband houden met fouten in het Hardwareapparaat of de SOFTWARE;

-is beschadigd door programma’s, gegevens, virussen of bestanden, of tijdens de verzending;

-niet is gebruikt in overeenstemming met de meegeleverde documentatie en instructies voor gebruik; of

-is gerepareerd, aangepast of gewijzigd door een reparateur die niet is goedgekeurd door Microsoft, en deze reparateur enige fout of beschadiging heeft veroorzaakt of hieraan heeft bijgedragen.

Deze Beperkte garantie bevat geen enkele garantie met betrekking tot wettelijke rechten of bevoegdheden, zoals garanties met betrekking tot het eigendomsrecht, ongestoord gebruik of het niet schenden van auteursrechten.

E.REGISTRATIE. U hoeft de aangeschafte SOFTWARE en het Hardwareapparaat niet te registreren om de Beperkte garantie van kracht te laten zijn.

F.BEGUNSTIGDE. Voor zover dit onder het toepasselijk recht is toegestaan, wordt de Beperkte garantie slechts verleend aan u, als eerste gelicentieerde gebruiker van de SOFTWARE of koper van het Hardwareapparaat, en zijn er geen derde begunstigden van de Beperkte garantie. Behalve als dit wettelijk vereist is, is deze Beperkte garantie niet bedoeld voor, en is deze niet van toepassing op enige andere persoon, ook niet op enige persoon aan wie u de SOFTWARE en/of het Hardwareapparaat overdraagt op de wijze waarop dit wordt toegestaan in de Overeenkomst.

G.NADERE INFORMATIE. Microsoft is de garantiegever onder deze Beperkte garantie. Als u instructies wilt ontvangen voor een beroep op deze beperkte garantie, moet u contact opnemen met de Microsoft-vestiging in uw land, of schrijven naar: Microsoft Sales Information Center, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6 99, VS, of naar de website van Microsoft gaan op http://www.microsoft.com.

U moet ook:

. Een betalingsbewijs overleggen in de vorm van een geldige, gedateerde kassabon of factuur (of een kopie daarvan) waaruit blijkt dat u de begunstigde van deze Beperkte garantie bent en dat uw verhaal binnen de Garantieperiode valt;

2. De verzenden andere instructies van Microsoft volgen als wordt bepaald dat u het Hardwareapparaat of de SOFTWARE in zijn geheel of gedeeltelijk moet retourneren. Als u een beroep wilt doen op de Beperkte garantie, moet u het item in

de originele verpakking of in een verpakking die dezelfde mate van bescherming biedt, retourneren naar een locatie die door Microsoft wordt bepaald. Tenzij volgens de wetgeving in uw rechtsgebied anders is bepaald, zijn de transportkosten (inclusief verpakking) die gepaard gaan met de garantieservice voor uw rekening.

. Alle bestanden en gegevens die u als privé of vertrouwelijk beschouwt, verwijderen voordat u het item naar Microsoft verzendt.

Als u de bovenstaande instructies niet volgt, kan dit leiden tot vertraging, hogere kosten of nietigverklaring van uw garantie.

Deze Beperkte garantie geeft u specifieke wettelijke rechten en mogelijk beschikt u ook over andere rechten die van rechtsgebied tot rechtsgebied verschillen. Ingeval enige bepaling van deze Beperkte garantie verboden is volgens dergelijke wetten, is deze nietig, maar het resterende gedeelte van de Beperkte garantie blijft volledig van kracht als de allocatie van risico’s niet materieel is aangetast.
