Intended use
This product is suitable for providing decorative illumination in indoor use. It is indended for clipping onto glass shelfs with a thickness approx. 5–8 mm. This product is intended for use in private, domestic environments only and not for commercial purposes.
Not suitable for ordinary lighting in household
room illumination.

Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. When passing this product on to others, please also include all the documents.
RISK OF FATAL INJURY!
During installation keep children away from the
area in which you are working. A large number of screws and other small parts are included with delivery. These may prove life-threatening if swallowed or inhaled.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appli­ance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

WARNING: The extremely high speed of the light
change during the colour change effect can under cer­tain circumstances result in visual impairment of children or predisposed persons (e.g. by mental illness).
Avoid the danger of death
from electric shock:
Before use, ensure that the available mains voltage is the
same as the required operating voltage for the device (220–240 V ∼, 50 Hz).
Always check the product for damage before connecting
it to the power supply.
Never use the product if you find it damaged in any way. This product does not contain any parts that can be ser-
viced by the user. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
Protect the product from sharp edges, mechanical stress
and hot surfaces.

Safety notice concerning batteries
DANGER TO LIFE!
Batteries are not intended for children. If accidentally
swallowed seek immediate medical attention.
CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZARD!
Never recharge non-rechargeable batteries and do not
short-circuit and / or open any batteries.
Never throw batteries into fire or water. Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries. If you do not observe these instructions, the battery could
be discharged beyond the cut-off voltage. This will then pose a risk of leaking. If a battery has leaked, please remove it instantly from the appliance to avoid damage.
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
In the event of contact with battery acid, thoroughly flush the affected area with clean water and seek immediate medical attention.
Avoid extreme conditions and temperatures which may
impact batteries, e.g. on radiators.

Remove the battery from the device if it is not going to be
used for a prolonged period.
Use only the recommended battery type! When inserting the battery ensure the correct polarity!
This is shown in the battery compartment.
If necessary, clean the batteries and device contacts
before inserting batteries.
Promptly remove drained batteries from the product.
Safety advice for installation
Do not use any sharp and / or pointed objects, such as
wire, nails or clamps, to fasten the product in place.
The plug must be plugged into an easily accessible
socket, to ensure the plug can be unplugged easily in an emergency.
The luminaire is not suitable for mounting on tubular
material.

Before initial use
Mounting
First install all the separate components of the light as
shown in Figure A.
Note: You can fit the LED driver
edge lighting using either the screws double-sided adhesive tape
If you choose installation using double-sided adhesive
tape, please remove the protective foil from the back first and stick it to the intended area, pressing firmly.
Make sure that the surface is clean, dry, smooth and free
of grease.
Insert the short edge of the metal clip with LED 5 under
the glass and twist it to slip it onto the glass (see Fig. B).
Carefully move the metal clip with LED all the way onto
the glass.
Note: Always make sure that the LED touches the edge
of the glass, this might otherwise affect the lighting effects.
The battery of the remote control 6 is already inserted.
Remove the insulating stripes from the battery compart­ment before first use.

Preparing the product for use
Switching the lamp on / off
Press the ON button of the remote control 6, to switch
the light on.
Press the OFF button of the remote control to switch the
light off.
Note: The OFF switch of the remote control is only suita-
ble for short term switching off of the light.
Pull the plug in mains adapter 2 from the mains socket
to switch off the light permanently.
Controlling the light effects with the
remote control
Note: The infrared sensor is on the opposite side to the
battery compartment. The receiver is on the LED driver The range is approx. 6–8 m Note: For all light functions except STROBE and FADE the intensity can be adjusted.
Ensure that there are no obstacles between the sender
and the receiver.
