Number of ID Numbers Occupied

The table below summarizes how many ID numbers are occupied by each model of sensor amplifier.

Connection example:

Data Assignments

Each ID number is assigned an output, setting value, current value, and external input.

Setting value Setting value of output Current value Received light intensity External input External input Output Output 1 Output 2 Setting value Setting value of output 1 Setting value of output 2 Current value Received light intensity (Not used) External input External input (Not used)
The external input can be used after configuring the "Control Input"parameter of each sensor. (By default, "Control Input" is set to "0: Not use.") The models FS-N10/N12* do not have an external input wire, but they can utilize external input via network by using a network unit.

Functions That Cannot Be Set in Duplicate

There are functions that cannot be set (used) in duplicate. When such functions are set through communication, the function of lower priority is invalidated while remaining in the set state or is deactivated. The following table summarizes the functions that cannot be set in duplicated, and their operations.

*1 The "Entry Count" parameters each indicate the number of parameters included in
the given group.
*2 When strings are stored in the "TAG Strings" parameters, the "Sub Display" param-

in the "TAG Strings" parameters as follows:
