Production:
!Type of items: Medium-size and small flat items.
!Minimum dimensions: 450 x 450 mm.
!Maximum: 1300 x 1800 mm.
Operation:
!FLAP-FOLDER makes “Traditional” folding (1/2) or “French” folding (1/3) of terry towels or similar items (terry towel, bathmat, hand towel etc.).
!The folding system is based on items measurement or on fixed (pre-defined) final dimensions of folds.
-“French fold” 1/3 (for items min. 600 mm / maxi. 1300 mm) or Traditional 1/2 (for items min. 450 mm / maxi. 850 mm).
-“French fold” 1/3 or Traditional (1/2 or 1/4) cross folding.
!Folding phases are:
-Sequential or continuous feeding with photocell detection of items.
-Length folds done by two mobile blades with automatic centring and a couple of bars.
-Cross folds done by air jets between reverse rotating rollers.
-Stacking on two self-levelling tables (from 1 to 3 stackers according to selected model of FLAP FOLDER PLUS).
-Automatic transfer of stacks on conveyor belts.
!Pressing of stacked items.
