The instructions contained in this booklet were written to provide a simple and clear guide for use of the vehicle. The manual also details routine
maintenance procedures and regular checks that should be carried out on the vehicle at an authorized aprilia Dealership or Workshop, as well as
instructions for some simple repairs. Procedures not described in detail here require the use of special tools and/or specific technical knowledge: we
therefore advise you to contact an Authorized aprilia Dealer or Workshop if you need them to be carried out.

work to highlight those parts of the booklet that should

and easy to locate the various topics. Before you start
the engine, read this booklet carefully, paying partic­ular attention to the chapter on "SAFE RIDING". Your
safety and that of other road users depends as much

vehicle, the vehicle's efficiency and your knowledge

Before you start the engine, read this
manual carefully, especially the sections
on "GENERAL PRECAUTIONS AND
WARNINGS" and "SAFE DRIVING."
Your safety and that of other people de­pends not only on your riding skills, but
also on your knowledge of the vehicle
and how to ride safely. For this reason, it
is fundamental that you do not ride your
vehicle on public streets or highways be­fore having received instruction from a
qualified safety organization like the Mo­torcycle Safety Foundation, are appropri­ately prepared, and have a driver's li­cense.

Keep gasoline out of the reach of chil­dren. Gasoline is toxic. Do not use your
mouth to siphon gasoline. Avoid having
gasoline in contact with your skin. If you
should accidentally come into contact
with gasoline, change your clothes im-

and foreign bodies from the ve­hicle. Use the special tools de­signed for this motorcycle as

REMOVAL OF COMPONENTS

Do not loosen and/or tighten
screws and nuts using pliers or
other tools other than the spe­cially designed wrench.

Mark positions on all connection
joints (pipes, cables etc.) before
separating them, and identify
them with distinctive symbols.

clearly marked in order to be
identified during reassembly.
