operation and disposal. Make yourself familiar with all

Intended use
This appliance is only intended for temporary
heating of closed and dry rooms. The appliance is
not intended for use in rooms which are subject to
unusual environments, such as corrosive or explosive
atmospheres (dust, steam or gas). Do not use the
appliance outdoors. Any other use or modification of
the appliance is considered improper use and may give
rise to considerable danger resulting from accidents.

General instructions
Read these operating instructions carefully before use.
They are an integral part of the
product and must be available
at all times.
Use the appliance
only for the purpose described
Check
whether the required mains
voltage (see nameplate on the
appliance) matches your mains
voltage.
In the event of
any malfunctions, the appliance
must only be repaired by our
service centre.
The appliance must
only be installed on a firm,
level, dry and non
-combustible
surface.

mains socket is easily accessible
so that you can disconnect the
mains plug quickly if necessary.
Protection against electric
shock
WARNING!
The following safety
information is intended
to protect you from
electric shock.
Only connect the appliance to a
properly installed earthed mains
socket.
If the appliance has fallen to the
ground or received a hard blow,
or if it has fallen into water, do
not continue to use it. In this
case, please contact our service
team. Our contact details can be
found in the “Service” chapter.
If the mains cable is damaged
it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or a similarly
qualified person in order to
avoid danger.
Never use the appliance in the
immediate vicinity of a sink,
bathtub, shower or swimming
pool as splashed water may
get into the appliance.
Never allow water or other
liquids to get into the appliance.
Therefore:
– Never use outdoors
– Never place vessels filled
with liquids, such as drinking
glasses, vases, etc., on the
appliance
– Never use in a very humid
environment such as a
bathroom. If liquid does get
into the appliance, unplug
the mains cable immediately
and have the appliance
repaired by qualified service
personnel.
Never attempt to push fingers
or objects through the protective
grilles into the interior of the
appliance.
Never touch the appliance, the
mains cable or the mains plug
with wet hands.
Always pull the mains supply
cable out using the plug. Never
pull on the cable itself.
Make sure that the mains cable
never gets kinked or crushed.
Make sure that the mains
cable is not damaged by sharp
edges.
Keep the mains cable away
from hot surfaces (e.g. cooker).
If you will not be using the
appliance for a long time,
unplug it
from the mains socket.
Only then will the appliance be
completely free of any electrical
current.
You should avoid using extension
cables. This can only be allowed
under very specific conditions:

The extension cable must be
suitable for the appliance’s
amperage.
– The extension cable must not
be installed in such a way that
it becomes a tripping hazard
or is accessible to children.

not be damaged under any
circumstances.
– No appliances other than
this appliance may be
connected to the mains
socket, as otherwise the
mains supply may become

appliance operates
at high temperatures, observe

to prevent fire.
There must be no combustible
objects (e.g. curtains, paper,
etc.) in the immediate vicinity
of the appliance while it is in
operation.
Never use the appliance to dry
textiles or other things on, above
or in front of the appliance.
To avoid overheating, never
cover the appliance.
Never operate the appliance
in potentially explosive atmospheres or in the vicinity of
flammable gases or liquids.
Never place the appliance
directly under a wall outlet, as the
heat generated could damage
the electrical installation.
Always make sure that the air
can circulate freely. Otherwise
there may be a build-up of heat

Never leave the appliance
running unattended. Damage
is almost always indicated by
intensive smells. In this case,
disconnect the mains plug

Observe the

that someone can get caught in
it or step on it.
Keep sufficient distance from
the appliance to prevent hair or
clothing from being sucked into

Keep children under 3 years
of age away unless they are
continuously supervised.
Children aged from 3 to 8 may
only switch the appliance on
and off if they are supervised or
instructed in the safe use of the
appliance and have understood
the resulting dangers, provided
that the appliance has already
been placed or installed in
its normal operating position.
Children aged from 3 to 8 must
not plug the appliance into
a mains socket, adjust the

Battery information
Incorrect handling of batteries

battery can cause skin irritation.

rinse with plenty of water. If the
chemicals get into your eyes,
always rinse with water, do not
