Ainsi, vous venez d’opter pour un produit de grande qualité. Le mode
d’emploi fait partie de ce produit. Il contient des remarques importantes concernant la sécurité, l’usage et la mise au rebut. Avant l’usage,
veuillez vous familiariser avec toutes les consignes d’utilisation et de
sécurité. N’utilisez le produit que conformément aux consignes et
pour les domaines d’utilisation prévus. Si vous cédez le produit à un
tiers, remettez-lui également ces instructions d’utilisation.

Étendue des fournitures
L’appareil est équipé de manière standard des composants suivants :

Retirez toutes les pièces de l’appareil du carton et retirez l’ensemble
du matériau d’emballage. Vérifiez si la livraison est bien complète et
ne présente aucun dommage apparent.
REMARQUES
► À la livraison, le sac de rangement se trouve sous la coque
en matière plastique dans laquelle a été conditionné l'appareil. Vous devrez retirer le carton sous la coque en matière
plastique pour pouvoir retirer le sac de rangement
► En cas de livraison incomplète ou de dommages résultant
d'un emballage défectueux ou du transport, veuillez vous
adresser à la hotline du service après-vente (voir le chapitre
Garantie et service).
Élimination de l’emballage
L’emballage protège l’appareil de tous dommages éventuels au
cours du transport. Les matériaux d’emballage ont été sélectionnés
selon des critères de respect de l’environnement et de recyclage
permettant une élimination écologique de ceux-ci.
Le retour de l’emballage en filière de revalorisation permet
d’économiser des matières premières et de réduire le volume
de déchets. Veuillez éliminer les matériaux d’emballage qui
ne servent plus selon la réglementation locale.

RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION
L'appareil ne doit être branché que dans une

prise réglementairement installée et alimentée
par une tension secteur de 100 - 240 V ~ /
50/60 Hz.
► Le câble de raccordement de l'appareil n'est
pas remplaçable. Si ce câble est endommagé,
il faut mettre l'appareil au rebut.
► En cas de défaillances et avant de nettoyer l'appa-
reil, retirez l'adaptateur secteur de la prise secteur.
► Pour débrancher le câble de la prise de
courant, saisissez toujours l'adaptateur secteur,
n'exercez pas de traction sur le câble lui-même.
► Ne pliez et ne coincez pas le câble secteur et
acheminez le câble secteur de telle manière que
personne ne puisse marcher ou trébucher dessus.

RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION
► Veillez à ce que le câble secteur ne se mouille ou
ne s’humidifie pas en service. Acheminez-le de
telle manière qu’il ne soit ni coincé ni endommagé.
► Si l’appareil venait à être endommagé, arrêtez
aussitôt de vous en servir pour éviter tous dangers.
► N’utilisez pas l’appareil à l’extérieur.
► N'enroulez pas le câble secteur autour de l'ap-
pareil et protégez-le contre le risque d'endommagement.
► Ne saisissez jamais l'appareil, le câble secteur
et la fiche secteur avec les mains mouillées.
► ATTENTION ! Maintenez l'appareil au sec.
N'utilisez jamais l'appareil à proximité de
l'eau, en particulier à proximité d'un lavabo,
d'une baignoire ou de récipients similaires.
La proximité d'eau représente un danger,
même si l'appareil est éteint. Pour cette
raison, retirez l'adaptateur secteur après
chaque usage. A titre de protection supplémentaire, nous recommandons l'installation
d'un relais disjoncteur contre les courants de
fuite avec un seuil de déclenchement impérativement inférieur à 30 mA dans le circuit
électrique de la salle de bains. Demandez
conseiller à votre électricien.

AVERTISSEMENT ! RISQUE DE BLESSURE !
► Si l'appareil a chuté ou s'est endommagé,
il ne faut plus le remettre en service. Faites
inspecter et réparer, le cas échéant, l'appareil
par des techniciens spécialisés et qualifiés.
► N'ouvrez pas le boîtier de l'appareil car il n'est pas
réparable par l'utilisateur. Dans ce cas, la sécurité
n'est plus assurée et vous perdez le bénéfice de
la garantie. Confiez les réparations de l'appareil
défectueux uniquement à un technicien spécialisé.
► N’opérez l’appareil qu’avec l’adaptateur sec-
teur fourni.
► Ne chargez l’appareil qu’avec l’adaptateur
secteur fourni.
► Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants dès
l’âge de 8 ans et par des personnes disposant
de capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales
réduites ou de peu d’expérience et de connaissances, à condition qu’ils soient surveillés ou qu’ils
aient été initiés à l’utilisation sécurisée de l’appareil et qu’ils aient compris les dangers en résultant.
► Ne pas laisser les enfants jouer avec l’appareil.
► Il est interdit aux enfants de procéder aux opé-
rations de nettoyage ou d’entretien de l’appareil
sans surveillance.

► N'utilisez l'appareil qu'à l'intérieur de locaux !
Marche sur le secteur
1) Branchez à cet effet la fiche de l’adaptateur secteur dans la
douille de raccordement de l’appareil. Assurez-vous que le
sélecteur de vitesse se trouve sur «0»
2) Branchez l’adaptateur secteur dans une prise secteur. Le
voyant de contrôle est rouge et indique ainsi que le processus
de chargement est en cours
L’appareil est maintenant prêt à fonctionner.

Fonctionnement sur accu
1) Enfichez à cet effet la fiche de l’adaptateur secteur dans la
douille de raccordement de l’appareil. Assurez-vous que le
sélecteur de vitesse se trouve sur «0».
2) Branchez l’adaptateur secteur dans une prise secteur. Le
voyant de contrôle est rouge et indique ainsi que le processus
de chargement est en cours.
Dès que le voyant de contrôle est vert, l’appareil est entièrement
chargé et vous pouvez couper l’appareil du réseau électrique.
REMARQUE
► Lors du premier chargement, il faut environ 80 minutes à
l'appareil pour le charger dans son intégralité.
► Rechargez l'appareil lorsque le voyant de contrôle affiche,
par un clignotement rouge-vert alterné, que la charge de la
batterie est trop faible.

Conseils et astuces
REMARQUE
► N'utilisez pas l'appareil, lorsque vous...
― présentez un coup de soleil sur les zones corporelles
concernées.
― présentez des irritations ou rougeurs cutanées.
― souffrez d'une maladie de la peau, comme par
exemple la neurodermite.
― avez des boutons d'acnée, des taches de naissance
ou des verrues sur les zones corporelles concernées.
― avez des blessures, ouvertes comprises, ou des cicatrices
saillantes sur les zones corporelles concernées.
► Appliquez d'abord l'appareil sur une petite zone cachée
pour tester si votre peau le tolère.
■ La longueur des poils devrait être comprise entre 0,3 cm et 0,5 cm.
S’ils sont plus courts, les pincettes ne les attraperont pas et l’arrachage de poils plus longs est très douloureux. En présence de
poils plus longs, raccourcissez-les au préalable.
■ La peau doit être exempte de résidus de matières grasses ou
de crème. Sinon les pincettes se collent/s’encrassent et la performance de l’appareil diminue.
■ La peau doit être entièrement sèche.
■ Il est recommandé de s’épiler le soir après la douche. La peau
s’est alors un peu amollie, il est plus facile d’arracher les poils.
En outre, la peau «récupère» pendant la nuit et les éventuelles
rougeurs cutanées se résorbent.

■ Avant d’effectuer une épilation, il est recommandé de procéder

à un peeling ou de frictionner la peau à l’aide d’un gant de massage. Cela permet de supprimer les peaux mortes, d’éviter les
poils incarnés et de dresser les poils fins. Il en résulte également
une meilleure saisie des poils.
■ Après l’épilation, appliquez une lotion hydratante ou une crème
sur la peau, une contenant de préférence de l’aloé vera ou des
extraits de camomille pour apaiser et hydrater la peau.
Épilation
Lorsque l’appareil est chargé et que les zones corporelles à épiler
sont préparées :
1) Caressez encore une fois les poils à supprimer à rebrousse-poils.
Vous dressez ainsi les poils pour que les pincettes puissent plus
facilement les saisir.
2) Retirez le capuchon protégeant la tête d’épilation .
3) Appuyez sur la sécurité de voyage et faites glisser le sélecteur
de vitesse vers le haut pour obtenir le niveau de vitesse
souhaitée :
― Niveau 1 : pour les zones sensibles
(zone des aisselles et du bikini)
― Niveau 2 : pour les jambes
4) Tenez la peau bien tendue à l’aide d’une main.
5) Placez l’épilateur verticalement sur la peau et déplacez-le dessus
à rebrousse-poils sans exercer de pression. Ce faisant, veillez
à ce que le sélecteur de vitesse regarde dans votre direction.
Ne décrivez aucun mouvement de va-et-vient ni de mouvement
circulaire.
Recommencez toujours au début et passez plusieurs fois sur les
zones à épiler afin de retirer tous les poils.

REMARQUE
► Il peut arriver qu'après quelques jours, les poils se remettent
à pousser. Cela est lié au fait que lors de la dernière épilation, certains poils étaient trop courts pour être arrachés.
6) Lorsque vous avez terminé le traitement, faites glisser le commutateur de vitesse sur «0».
7) Nettoyez la tête d’épilation comme décrit dans le chapitre
«Nettoyage et entretien».
8) Posez le capuchon d’épilation sur la tête d’épilation .
REMARQUE
► Si la tête d’épilation est endommagée, cessez de l’utiliser !
Pour commander une nouvelle tête d’épilation , veuillez vous
adresser au service après-vente (cf. le chapitre «Garantie et
service»). Ayez le numéro IAN à portée de main (voir la page
de couverture du mode d’emploi).
Pour remplacer la tête d’épilation , procédez comme suit :
― Pressez les deux verrouillages et retirez en même
temps la tête d’épilation vers le haut.
― Enfichez la nouvelle tête d’épilation sur l’appareil.
Veillez à ce que les pignons de la tête d’épilation
engrènent bien dans ceux de l’appareil. La tête d’épilation doit encranter de manière audible.

Nettoyage et entretien

► Avant chaque opération de nettoyage, coupez l'appareil de
l'adaptateur secteur et l'adaptateur secteur de la prise
secteur.
ATTENTION - DÉGÂTS MATÉRIELS !
► N'immergez jamais l'appareil dans de l'eau ou dans d'autres
liquides !
■ Après chaque utilisation, nettoyez la tête d’épilation avec le
pinceau de nettoyage livré d’origine afin de retirer les poils
détachés.
■ Désinfecter la tête d’épilation régulièrement, en la vaporisant
de spray désinfectant pour la nettoyer.
■ Pour procéder au nettoyage complet de la tête d’épilation ,
vous pouvez la retirer de l’appareil :
― Pressez les deux verrouillages et retirez en même temps
la tête d’épilation vers le haut.
― Nettoyez la tête d’épilation à l’eau courante et laissez-la
sécher.
― Remontez la tête d’épilation sur l’appareil. Veillez à ce que
les pignons de la tête d’épilation engrènent bien dans ceux
de l’appareil. La tête d’épilation doit encranter de manière
audible.
■ Essuyez l’appareil et l’adaptateur secteur à l’aide d’un chiffon
humide. Si nécessaire, versez un peu de liquide vaisselle sur le
chiffon. Avant l’utilisation suivante, assurez-vous que l’appareil a
entièrement séché.

Stockage
■ Protégez toujours la tête d’épilation à l’aide du capuchon de
protection fourni .
■ Rangez l’appareil, le pinceau de nettoyage et l’adaptateur
secteur dans le sac de rangement .
■ Conservez l’appareil à un endroit sec et exempt de poussière.

Élimination de l’appareil

Pour éliminer l’appareil en respectant l’environnement, vous devez
en retirer la batterie.
RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION

Retirez l'appareil du réseau électrique lorsque vous retirez la
batterie !
ATTENTION - DÉGÂTS MATÉRIELS !
► Ne retirez l'accu de l'appareil qu'à partir du moment où vous
avez l'intention de mettre l'appareil au rebut/de le recycler !
L'appareil est défectueux dès que vous avez retiré l'accu !
1) Détachez la tête d’épilation de l’appareil.
2) Levez les deux crans d’arrêt situés à l’intérieur à l’aide d’un petit
tournevis ou d’un dispositif similaire et poussez-les vers l’extérieur,
afin que les parties latérales de l’appareil puissent être détachées.
3) Desserrez les deux vis devenues visibles. Vous pouvez ensuite
démonter le boîtier.
4) Sectionnez le fil rouge et le fil noir qui relient la carte avec la
batterie à gaine bleue. Vous pouvez à présent retirer la batterie
de l’appareil.
5) Procédez à une mise au rebut respectueuse de l’environnement
de la batterie. Respectez la réglementation en vigueur. En cas de
doute, prenez contact avec votre centre de recyclage.

la poubelle des déchets domestiques.

Éliminez l’appareil par l’intermédiaire d’une entreprise

Lieferumfang
Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes aus dem Karton und entfernen
Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial. Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf
Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
HINWEISE
► Der Aufbewahrungsbeutel befindet sich bei Auslieferung
unter der Kunststoffschale, in der sich das Gerät befindet. Sie
müssen die Pappe unter der Kunststoffschale entfernen, um
den Aufbewahrungsbeutel herausnehmen zu können.
► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge
mangelhafter Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie
sich an die Service-Hotline (siehe Kapitel Garantie und
Service).
Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf
spart Rohstoffe und verringert das Abfallaufkommen.
Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien
gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur in Innenräumen.
Netzbetrieb
1) Stecken Sie den Anschlussstecker des Netzadapters in die
Buchse am Gerät. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Geschwindigkeitsschalter auf „0“ steht.
2) Stecken Sie den Netzadapter in eine Netzsteckdose. Die
Kontrollleuchte leuchtet rot und zeigt damit den Aufladevor-
gang an.
Das Gerät ist sofort betriebsbereit.
Akkubetrieb
1) Stecken Sie den Anschlussstecker des Netzadapters in die
Buchse am Gerät. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Geschwindigkeitsschalter auf „0“ steht.
2) Stecken Sie den Netzadapter in eine Netzsteckdose. Die
Kontrollleuchte leuchtet rot und zeigt damit den Aufladevor-
gang an.
Sobald die Kontrollleuchte grün leuchtet, ist das Gerät vollständig
geladen und Sie können das Gerät vom Stromnetz trennen.
HINWEIS
► Beim ersten Aufladen benötigt das Gerät ca. 80 Minuten,
um vollständig aufzuladen.
► Laden Sie das Gerät erst wieder auf, wenn die Kontrollleuch-
te durch abwechselndes rot-grünes Blinken eine niedrige
Akkuladung anzeigt.

Tipps und Tricks
HINWEIS
► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn...
― Sie einen Sonnenbrand an den betroffenen Körperstel-
len haben.
― Hautreizungen oder -rötungen vorliegen.
― Sie eine Hautkrankheit, wie zum Beispiel Neurodermitis,
haben.
― Sie Pickel, Muttermale oder Warzen an den betroffe-
nen Körperstellen haben.
― Sie Wunden, offene Wunden oder erhabene Narben
an den betroffenen Körperstellen haben.
► Testen Sie das Gerät erst an einer kleinen versteckten Stelle,
um die Hautverträglichkeit zu testen.
■ Die Haare sollten zwischen 0,3 cm und 0,5 cm lang sein. Kürze-
re Haare ergreifen die Pinzetten nicht und das Herauszupfen von
längeren Haaren ist sehr schmerzhaft. Kürzen Sie längere Haare
gegebenenfalls.
■ Die Haut muss frei von Fett- oder Cremerückständen sein. Ansons-
ten verkleben/verschmutzen die Pinzetten und die Leistung des
Gerätes wird vermindert.
■ Die Haut muss vollständig trocken sein.
■ Epilieren Sie am Besten am Abend nach dem Duschen. Dann ist
die Haut etwas aufgeweicht, so dass die Haare leichter herausgezupft werden können. Außerdem kann sich die Haut in der Nacht
erholen und eventuelle Hautrötungen gehen zurück.

■ Behandeln Sie die Haut vor dem Epilieren mit einem Peeling oder
einem Massagehandschuh. Dadurch werden abgestorbene Haut-

schüppchen entfernt, einwachsende Haare werden vermieden
und feine Haare stellen sich auf. Dadurch kann das Gerät die
Haare besser greifen.
■ Pflegen Sie die Haut nach dem Epilieren mit einer Feuchtigkeitslo-
tion oder einer Creme. Idealerweise enthält die Creme Aloe Vera
oder Kamillenextrakte, um die Haut zu beruhigen und zu pflegen.
Epilieren
Wenn das Gerät aufgeladen ist und die zu epilierenden Körperstellen vorbereitet sind:
1) Streichen Sie mit der Hand noch einmal gegen die Wuchsrichtung über die zu entfernenden Haare. Damit richten Sie diese
auf, so dass die Haare besser von den Pinzetten erfasst werden
können.
2) Nehmen Sie die Schutzkappe vom Epilierkopf ab.
3) Drücken Sie die Reisesicherung und schieben Sie den
Geschwindigkeitsschalter nach oben auf die gewünschte
Geschwindigkeitsstufe:
― Stufe 1: für empfindliche Zonen (Achselbereich und Bikinizone)
― Stufe 2: für Beine
4) Halten Sie mit der einen Hand die Haut straff.
5) Setzen Sie den Epilierer senkrecht auf die Haut und fahren Sie
ohne Druck auszuüben entgegen der Haarwuchsrichtung darüber. Die Seite mit dem Geschwindigkeitsschalter muss dabei
zu Ihnen weisen. Führen Sie keine Hin- und Herbewegungen oder
Kreisbewegungen aus.
Setzen Sie immer wieder neu an und fahren Sie mehrmals über
die zu epilierenden Stellen, so dass alle Haare entfernt werden.

HINWEIS
► Es kann sein, dass nach wenigen Tagen wieder Haare
nachwachsen. Das liegt daran, dass diese Haare während
des letzten Epilierens noch zu kurz waren, um entfernt zu
werden.
6) Wenn Sie mit der Behandlung fertig sind, schieben Sie den
Geschwindigkeitsschalter auf „0“.
7) Reinigen Sie den Epilierkopf wie im Kapitel „Reinigen und
Pflegen“ beschrieben.
8) Setzen Sie die Schutzkappe auf den Epilierkopf .
HINWEIS
► Wenn der Epilierkopf beschädigt ist, benutzen Sie diesen
nicht weiter! Um einen neuen Epilierkopf zu bestellen,
wenden Sie sich an den Service (siehe Kapitel „Garantie
und Service“). Halten Sie die IAN-Nummer bereit (siehe
Cover der Bedienungsanleitung).
Um den Epilierkopf auszutauschen, gehen Sie folgender-
maßen vor:
― Drücken Sie die beiden Verriegelungen zusammen
und ziehen Sie gleichzeitig den Epilierkopf nach
oben ab.
― Stecken Sie den neuen Epilierkopf auf das Gerät.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Zahnräder am Epilierkopf
und am Gerät ineinander greifen. Der Epilierkopf
muss hörbar einrasten.

► Trennen Sie vor jeder Reinigung das Gerät vom Netzadapter
und den Netzadapter vom Stromnetz.
ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!
► Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten!
■ Reinigen Sie nach jeder Benutzung den Epilierkopf mit dem
mitgelieferten Reinigungspinsel , um lose Haare zu entfernen.
■ Desinfizieren Sie den Epilierkopf regelmäßig, indem Sie ihn
mit Desinfektionsspray besprühen und reinigen.
■ Um den Epilierkopf gründlich zu reinigen, können Sie diesen
vom Gerät abnehmen:
― Drücken Sie die beiden Verriegelungen zusammen und
ziehen Sie gleichzeitig den Epilierkopf nach oben ab.
― Reinigen Sie den Epilierkopf unter fließendem Wasser und
lassen Sie ihn trocknen.
― Stecken Sie den Epilierkopf wieder auf das Gerät. Achten
Sie darauf, dass die Zahnräder am Epilierkopf und am
Gerät ineinander greifen. Der Epilierkopf muss hörbar
einrasten.
■ Wischen Sie das Gerät und den Netzadapter mit einem
feuchten Tuch ab. Bei Bedarf geben Sie ein mildes Reinigungsmittel auf das Tuch. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät vor der
nächsten Benutzung vollständig trocken ist.

Lagerung
■ Schützen Sie den Epilierkopf immer mit der mitgelieferten
Schutzkappe .
■ Bewahren Sie das Gerät, den Reinigungspinsel und den Netz-
adapter in dem Aufbewahrungsbeutel auf.
■ Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen und staubfreien Ort
auf.

Entsorgung des Gerätes
Um das Gerät umweltgerecht zu entsorgen, müssen Sie den Akku

Entfernen Sie das Gerät vom Stromnetz, wenn Sie den Akku
entfernen!
ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!
► Entnehmen Sie den Akku nur aus dem Gerät, wenn Sie das
Gerät entsorgen/verschrotten wollen! Das Gerät ist defekt,
wenn Sie den Akku ausgebaut haben!
1) Nehmen Sie den Epilierkopf vom Gerät.
2) Heben Sie die beiden innenliegenden Arretierungen mit einem
kleinem Schraubendreher oder ähnlichem nach oben und drücken Sie sie nach außen, so dass sich die Seitenteile des Gerätes
lösen lassen.
3) Lösen Sie die beiden nun sichtbaren Schrauben. Sie können dann
das Gehäuse auseinander nehmen.
4) Kneifen Sie das rote und das schwarze Kabel, welches die Platine mit dem blau ummantelten Akku verbindet, durch. Sie können
nun den Akku aus dem Gerät entfernen.
5) Entsorgen Sie den Akku umweltgerecht. Beachten Sie die aktuell
geltenden Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer
Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.

Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den nor-
malen Hausmüll. Dieses Produkt unterliegt
der europäischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU.
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen

Extract all parts of the appliance from the carton and remove all
packaging material. Check the contents to ensure everything has
been supplied, and for signs of visible damage.
TIPS
► As delivered, the storage pouch is located under the plastic
shell containing the device itself. You must remove the
cardboard under the plastic shell in order to take the storage
pouch out.
► If the delivery is incomplete, or has been damaged due to
defective packaging or transportation, contact the Service
Hotline (see chapter Warranty and Service).
Disposal of packaging
The packaging protects the appliance against transport damage.
The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of
their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are
therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit
saves on raw material and reduces generated waste.
Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed
as per the regionally established regulations .

Never use the appliance near water, particularly not near sinks, baths or other vessels.

even when the appliance is switched off.
After use, always remove the plug from the
mains power socket. As additional protection,
the installation of a faulty-current protection
unit with an activation power rating of not
more than 30 mA is recommended for the
power circuit in the bathroom.

1) Insert the connector plug of the mains power adapter into the
socket for mains adapter on the appliance. Ensure that the
speed switch is set at “0”.
2) Connect the mains power adapter to a mains power socket.
The control lamp glows red to indicate that the charging
process is active.
The appliance is ready for immediate use.
Battery operation
1) Insert the connector plug of the mains power adapter into the
socket for mains adapter on the appliance. Ensure that the
speed switch is set at “0”.
2) Connect the mains power adapter to a mains power socket.
The control lamp glows red to indicate that the charging
process is active.
As soon as the control lamp glows green the appliance is fully
charged and you can disconnect it from the mains power supply.
NOTICE
► For the initial charging, the appliance requires about
80 minutes to fully charge.
► First recharge the appliance when the control lamps indi-
cate, by alternately flashing red and green, that the battery
charge level is low..

Tips and Tricks
NOTICE
► Do not use the appliance if...
― You have a sunburn on the specific part of the body.
― Skin irritation or redness is extant.
― You have a skin disease such as, for example,
neurodermatitis.
― You have pimples, moles or warts on the specific parts
of the body.
― You have wounds, open sores or raised scars on the
specific parts of the body.
► First test the appliance on a small hidden location to establish
the skin compatibility.
■ The hairs should be between 0.3 cm and 0.5 cm long. Shorter
hairs are not gripped by the tweezers and plucking out longer
hairs is very painful. If needs be, shorten long hair.
■ The skin must be free of grease or cream residues. Otherwise, the
tweezers will stick/soil and the efficiency of the appliance will be
reduced.
■ The skin must be completely dry.
■ The best time for epilation is in the evening after a shower. Then
the skin is somewhat softened, so that the hairs can be plucked
out easily. In addition, the skin can recover overnight, and any
skin reddening will recede.

■ Before epilation, treat the skin with a peeling or a massage glove.
This helps remove dead skin cells, ingrowing hairs are avoided,
and fine hairs stand proud. This enables the appliance to grip the
hairs better.
■ After epilation, nurture the skin with a moisturising lotion or

cream. Ideally, the cream will contain aloe vera or camomile
extracts to soothe and maintain the skin.
Epilation
When the appliance is charged and the body part to be epilated is
prepared:
1) Rub your hand once more against the growth direction of the
hairs to be removed. Through this the hairs will be raised so that
they can be better captured by the tweezers.
2) Remove the protective cap from the epilator head .
3) Press the travel lock and slide the speed switch upwards to
the desired speed level:

4) Hold the skin tight with one hand.
5) Place the epilator perpendicular to the skin and, without exerting
any pressure, move it against the direction of the hair growth.
Thereby, the side with the speed switch must face towards
you. Do not make back and forth or circular movements.
Always start anew and pass over the body part to be epilated
several times, so that all of the hair is removed.

NOTICE
► It may be that the hair grows back after a few days. The
reason for this is that these hairs were too short to be
removed during the last epilation session.
6) When you are finished with the treatment, place the speed switch
to “0”.
7) Clean the epilator head as described in the section “Cleaning
and Care”.
8) Replace the protective cap on the epilator head .
NOTICE
► If the epilator head is damaged, discontinue all further use!
To order a new epilator head , please contact the service de-
partment (see chapter “Guarantee and service”). Please have
the IAN number ready (see operating manual cover).
To replace the epilator head , please proceed as follows:
― Press the two restraint fixtures together and at the
same time pull the epilator head upwards.
― Press the new epilator head onto the appliance.
Ensure that the gears on the epilator head and on
the appliance mesh with each other. The epilator head
must audibly engage.

Cleaning and Care

► Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the mains
power adapter and the mains power adapter from the

WARNING - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids!
■ After every use clean the epilator head with the supplied
cleaning brush to remove loose hairs.
■ Disinfect the epilator head regularly by spraying and cleaning
it with disinfectant spray.
■ To thoroughly clean the epilator head you can remove it from
the appliance:
― Press the two restraint fixtures together and at the same
time pull the epilator head upwards.
― Clean the epilator head under running water and then
allow it to dry.
― Place the epilator head back onto the appliance. Ensure
that the gears on the epilator head and on the appliance
mesh with each other. The epilator head must audibly
engage.
■ Clean the appliance housing and the mains power adapter
with a moist cloth. If required, use some mild detergent on the cloth.
Ensure that the appliance is completely dry before the next use.

Storage
■ Always protect the epilator head with the supplied protective
cap .
■ Store the appliance, the cleaning brush and the mains power
adapter in the storage pouch .
■ Store the appliance at a dry and dustfree location.

Disposal of the appliance
To dispose of the appliance in an environmentally friendly manner
you must remove the battery from the appliance.

Disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply when
you remove the battery!
WARNING - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Only remove the battery from the appliance if you want to
dispose of/scrap it! The appliance is defective when you
have removed the battery!
1) Take the epilator head from the appliance.
2) Lift the two internal restraints with a small screwdriver or similar to
the top and press them outwards, so that the side elements of the
appliance can be released.
3) Loosen the two now visible screws. You can then take the housing
apart.
4) Snip the red and black cable that connects the circuit board with
the blue-jacketed battery. You can now remove the battery from
the appliance.
5) Dispose of the battery environmentally friendly. Observe the currently
applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your
waste disposal centre.

Do not dispose of the appliance in your
normal domestic waste. This product is
subject to the provisions of European
Directive 2012/19/EU.
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal
centre or at your community waste facility. Observe
the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt,
please contact your waste disposal centre.
Warranty and Service
The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from the date of
purchase. The appliance has been manufactured with care and
meticulously examined before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a
warranty claim, please make contact by telephone with our service
department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for your
goods be assured.

► The warranty applies to material or manufacturing faults
only, not for transport damage, parts subject to wear and
tear or for damage to fragile parts.
This appliance is intended solely for domestic, not commercial, use.
If this product has been subjected to improper or inappropriate

authorised service centres, the warranty will be considered void.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
The warranty period is not extended by repairs made under the
