MDF series biomedical freezers include upright models designed for shortor intermediate-term storage at temperatures as low as -30°C. Constructed with high-performance laboratory and clinical-grade refrigeration systems, these freezers are used in clinical, biotechnology and industrial labs for storage of biologics, enzymes, culture media, reagents, and specimens.

Designed with all the features required for biomedical research and biotechnology applications such as superior uniformity, microprocessor control, and large, flexible storage capacity. Additionally, items such as two access ports, casters, remote alarm contacts, and security features (a keyed door lock and padlock handle) are always included as standard features.

In medical applications, MDF Series biomedical freezers provide effective storage of life-saving vaccines as well as samples for diagnosis.

In biotechnology applications, they provide effective storage of enzymes for genetic research as well as culture media, reagents and samples for testing.

In industrial applications, they are ideal for aging and temperature tests on electronic components, precision devices, and compound resins.

Stable Temperature Control

Using the microprocessor technology the MDF series provides precise and uniform storage temperatures regardless of ambient conditions, with a settable temperature range from -20°C to -30°C in 1°C increments. Built-in alarm and product safety functions are also provided as standard features.

Comprehensive setpoint, alarm, monitoring and diagnostic functions supervised by the MDF Series microprocessor controller with digital display of all input/ output function.

Sample Protection Functions

Digitally AdjustableTemperature Setpoint, High and LowTemperature Alarm, Door Ajar Alarm, Remote Alarm Contacts, and Non-Volatile Memory Backup. Both visual and audible alarms are standard.

High-Performance Refrigeration

Laboratory-quality refrigeration assures stable, uniform temperatures throughout the chamber.

Quiet Operation

The MDF Series’ energy-efficient refrigeration design requires no noisy condenser fan. In combination with low dB level compressor, this unit is uniquely quiet and perfect for in-lab installations.
