Congratulations!
With your purchase you have decided in favour of a quality product. Familiarise yourself with the product before installation and before taking it into use for the first time. In this regard, please read the following assembly instructions and safety notices attentively. Use the product only as described and only for the specified areas of application. Retain these instructions for future reference. In addition, pass these documents on, together with the product, to any future owner.

Intended use
This barbecue is intended exclusively for the preparation of grilled foods. It is suitable only for use outdoors. This barbecue is intended for use only in domestic environments, not for commercial applications. No liability will be assumed for damages caused by misuse or improper handling, the use of force or unauthorised modification.

Safety
In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding the handling of the appliance.
This appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations. Incorrect usage can lead to personal injury and property damage.
Basic Safety Instructions
WARNING
Warnings about burns!
1. During use, place the barbecue on a safe, level and firm surface, otherwise it could tip over.
2. CAUTION! For igniting and reigniting, do not use spiritus or petrol! Use only ignition aids complying with EN 1860-3. The deflagration could cause an uncontrollable development of heat.
3. ATTENTION! During use the barbecue will become very hot and therefore may not be moved, otherwise it could tip over.
4. ATTENTION! Keep children and pets well away from it!
5. Wear appropriate barbecue gloves when grilling and use grill tongs.
6. NEVER leave a hot barbecue unattended.
7. Let the barbecue cool completely before cleaning it.
8. NEVER use water to extinguish the charcoal.

Use the barbecue ONLY outdoors!
Do not operate the barbecue in indoor rooms or roofed-over areas.

Package contents and transport inspection
The appliance is delivered with the following components as standard:

This operating manual
Take the appliance and the operating manual from the box and remove all pack­ing material.
NOTICE
Check the delivery for completeness and for any signs of visible damage.
If the delivery is not complete or is damaged due to defective packaging or
through transportation contact the Service Hotline (see chapter Service).

Press the two locking knobs A on the outside of the stand in and fold it
apart.

Swing the two side elements B of the stand to the outside and secure
them with the retaining clamps

Fold the firebowl 2 apart and insert the two end panels D from the top
into the firebowl 2.

Place the firebowl 2 in the stand . Ensure that the two arresting plates E
fit into the recesses on the stand

Fold the grill rack 3 apart and, from below, slide the two reinforcement
bars F through the grill rack 3.

Place the grill rack 3 on the stand .
Commissioning
NOTICE
Before the first use, the barbecue must be warmed up for at least 30 minutes.
WARNING
Warnings about burns!
During use, place the barbecue on a safe, level and firm surface, otherwise
it could tip over.

only ignition aids complying with EN 1860-3. The deflagration could cause an uncontrollable development of heat.
Layer a portion of the charcoal into the firebowl
Place one or two solid firelighters on the existing layer of charcoal and
ignite the solid firelighters with a match or lighter.
Allow the firelighters to burn for 2 to 4 minutes. Then slowly fill the firebowl
with charcoal.
After about 20 minutes the charcoal will display a white coating of ash.
The optimal burning temperature has now been reached.
Spread the charcoal, using a suitable metal tool, evenly in the firebowl

Cleaning and Care
WARNING
Warnings about burns!
Before cleaning it or putting it into storage, allow the barbecue to cool down
completely. NEVER use water to extinguish the glowing charcoal.
Warning in regard to property damage!
Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents as they may damage
the surfaces.
For cleaning the stand , use a dish cloth and water with a commercial
detergent.
Clean the grill rack

Storage
Dismantle the barbecue in reverse order.
Store the loose parts (end panels, handles and reinforcing bars) in the
firebowl
