Subject: Disc eject error.
Countermeasure is applicable only upon claim from the customer.
Symptom: The Disc might be not ejecting occasionally. The clearance
between disc and insertion entrance may be little bit narrow, therefore when the
Disc is not flat, the disc occasionally might not be ejected.
Solution:
COUNTERMEASURE: Use this Service Information instead of PZ09-152.
Please refer to the attached Instruction Manual.
1) Remove the Top cover.
2) The pickup of the DRIVE mechanism is moved to the most outside.
3) Soldering is done to the pattern of the pickup PWB.
4) Remove the Mechanism Assy.
5) Please cut ribs of both sides of the tab. (1-place)
6) Attach the "SPACER" on the 2-boss.
7) Attach the Mechanism and fix the screws. (Fixing torque: 10.0kgf・cm +0/-0.5)
8) Apply a coating of a glue (1401B made by ThreeBond. or an equivalent
material) on the 2-screw.
9) The pickup of the DRIVE mechanism is moved to the most outside.
10) Please remove soldering (the three pattern of the pickup PWB).
11) Attach the Top cover.
