DESCRIPTION
The appliance can be a filtering version one, a ducting version one or with an external motor.
In the Filtering version (Fig. 1), the air and vapours conveyed by the appliance are depurated by charcoal filter and recirculated around the room. ATTENTION: Using the hood as a filtering one it is necessary to use the charcoal filter that purifies the air sent back into the room.
In the Ducting version (Fig. 2), cooking vapours and odours are conveyed straight outside by a disposal duct which passes through the wall/ceiling. Use of charcoal filter is therefore unnecessary.
In the version with an External motor (Fig. 3), the appliance must be connected to an ducting apparatus/motor which works on its own using the appliance as a union for the air to be scavenged. Use only motors proposed in the original catalogue.
If your appliance is made of stainless steel, it might be covered with a protective film: remove it before installation.
INSTALLATION
Before assembling, in order to manoeuvre the appliance more easily, take off the grease filters: at the handle, push the stop inwards and pull the filter downwards (Fig. 4); open the trolley and take off the other filter doing the same.
IMPORTANT: So as not to damage your product, during installation USE ONLY THE SCREWS PROVIDED. Make sure these are used as shown in the following instructions.
Warning: Failure to install the screws or fixing device in accordance with these instructions may result in electrical hazards.
To compensate possible depth voids between the appliance and the wall, a plasticSPACING BAR to be fixed at the back of the appliance by means of the three screws A is included (Fig. 5). The 3 screws A to be used are contained intheaccessorybagattachedtotheplasticspacingbar.Cutthespacingbaraccordingtothedistancetobeadjusted.
ASSEMBLY UNDER A PENSILE CUPBOARD
The following operations are essential for assembly:
–Install the wiring system
–Prepare the air venting hole if your appliance is to be installed in the ducting version or in the version with an external motor.
Fixation as indicated in Fig. 6:
Make the 4 necessary fixing holes in the bottom of the cupboard and cut the air venting hole. Move the hood close to the bottom of the wall unit and then connect the two units by means of the 4 self-tapping screws supplied together with the appliance.
Fixation with brackets as in Fig. 7 (OPTIONAL):
Take the two brackets (S) out of the accessory bag together with the 4 screws provided. Fit the brackets to the wall unit being careful to position these correctly; for this operation use the 4 longer screws. At this point, adjust the angle of the appliance with the 4 screws (B) and fasten the appliance to the brackets using the 2 shorter screws (C).
Ducting version and version with an external motor: connect the flange of the hood with the air venting hole made previously in the wall/ceiling by means of an adequate tube. Make the electrical connections.
For the version with an External motor, make the electrical connection between the hood and the external motor by means of the proper terminal board (Fig. 8): take off the cable clamp A and the cover B of the wiring junction box. Fix the connection cable of the motor onto the terminal board C. Reassemble the cable clamp A and the cover B of the junction box. The other end of the cable must be fixed onto the terminal board of the external motor.
Filtering version : connect an adequate pipe to the connecting flange of the appliance so that it conveys the air up to the top of the pensile cupboard (pipe is not provided). Make the electrical connections.
HOW TO TAKE OFF THE GLASS
Before any cleaning or any servicing it is necessary to disconnect the apparatus. To take off the glass, open the trolley pulling it frontwards; pull the glass towards the left (or the right) and lift one side upwards as it is indicated in the Figure16.
OPERATION
Depending on the model, the unit is equipped with the following controls:
CONTROLS shown in Fig. 9:
MOTOR - Switch A. When set on position "1" the motor will be switched on and off automatically by opening and closing the telescopic visor. When set on position "0" the motor will remain off at all times.
SPEED - Switch B. Allows the operating speed of the motor to be regulated by means of an electronic speed variator.
LIGHT - Switch C. When light switch is on "AUT" position the light will be turned on and off automatically by opening and closing the visor. When set to "0" position, the light will remain off, regardless of position of visor.
On "MAN" position the light will be switched on regardless of position of visor.
CONTROLS shown in Fig. 10:
Button A: turns the lights on/off; every 30 hours of operation the corresponding pilot lamp (S) illuminates to indicate that the grease filters must be cleaned; every 120 hours of operation the corresponding pilot lamp (S) flashes to indicate that the grease filters must be cleaned and the charcoal filter replaced. To restart the hour counter (RESET), hold the button A pressed down for about 1” (while the pilot lamp S is on). Button B: drives the motor in first speed (the corresponding pilot lamp comes on); when holding it down for about 1”, the motor cuts out. Button C: drives the motor in second speed (the corresponding pilot lamp comes on). Button D: drives the motor in third speed (the corresponding pilot lamp comes on). Button E: drives the motor in fourth speed (the corresponding pilot lamp comes on).
Provision has been made to delay switching off of the hood to allow completion of ambient air purification. Starting from 2nd speed, when pressing the current operating speed button (pilot lamp on), switching off will be delayed for 5’. During this period the pilot lamp flashes.
FILTERALARM:
After 30h of operation, the Light Button LED (Fig. 10S) comes ON; It indicates that the anti-grease filters need to be cleaned. After cleaning the grease filters (and/or replacing the charcoal filters), restart the hour counter (RESET) by pressing the key C during display of the filter alarm.
CONTROLS shown in Fig. 11:
A)Turns the LIGHTS off
B)Turns the LIGHTS on.
C)Decreases speed down to minimum speed. If pressed for 2" the motor is turned off.
D)Activates the motor (calling the last speed used) and increases the speed until reaching maximum..
E)FILTER ALARM/TIMER RESET: when pressing the key during display of the filter alarm (motor off) it resets the hour counter.Whenpressingthekeywhenthemotorisrunning,theTIMERisactivatedandthehoodwillautomaticallybeswitched off after 5 minutes.
L1) The 4 green LEDs indicate the running speed.
L2) When the LED is red (motor off) it indicates the FILTER ALARM. When the LED is green (flashing) it indicates that the TIMER has been activated with the key E.
FILTERALARM:
After 30h of operation, the LED L2 turns RED. It indicates that the grease filters need to be cleaned.
After 120h of operation, the LED L2 turns RED and flashes; It indicates that the grease filters need to be cleaned and the charcoal filters replaced.
After cleaning the grease filters (and/or replacing the charcoal filters), restart the hour counter (RESET) by pressing the key E during display of the filter alarm.
CONTROLS shown in Fig. 12:
P1) OFF/- Lights: Decreases light intensity down to minimum intensity. If pressed for 2 seconds, the lights are switched off.
P2) ON/+ Lights: Switches on the lights using the last brightness level set (prior to the last time the lights were switched off).Increases light intensity up to maximum intensity.
P3) OFF/- Engine: Decreases speed down to minimum speed. If pressed for 2 seconds, the engine is switched off. If pressed for 2 seconds when FILTER ALARM is active, HOUR metering is reset.
P4) ON/+ Engine: Switches on the engine using the speed set (prior to the last time the engine was switched off).Increases the speed of the engine up to maximum speed (NON INTENSIVE). If pressed for 2 seconds, the 5-minute Timer is activated and HIGHLIGHTED by flashing speed indication LEDs. If pressed for 2 seconds when the Timer is active, it is ELIMINATED. P5) INT: Only functions with ENGINE ON. If pressed once, it activates the FIRST intensive speed; if pressed for a second times, the SECOND intensive is activated; if pressed for a THIRD time, the speed set prior to the intensive (that is one of the first 4) is set again.
L1) The 4 green LEDs indicate the running speed.
L2) 2-colour LED: GREEN indicates the First Intensive Speed RED indicates the Second Intensive Speed. FILTERALARM:
After 30h of operation, the first 2 LEDs (L1) flash; this indicates that the grease filters need to be cleaned.
After 120h of operation, the last 2 LEDs (L1) flash; This indicates that the grease filters need to be cleaned and the charcoal filters replaced.
After cleaning the grease filters (and/or replacing the charcoal filters), restart the hour counter (RESET) by pressing the key P3 during display of the filter alarm.
Charcoal filter replacement (for filter version hoods): Remove the filters by rotating them and fit them back on by rotating them in the opposite direction / 13). If the model you have purchased has the controls shown in Figure 9 and in Figure 10, replace the charcoal filters on average every 6 months depending on use.
If the model you have purchased has the controls shown in Figure 11 and in Figure 12, replace the charcoal filters when the Filter Alarm appears (see “Controls” paragraph).
Grease filters : to remove the grease filters, push the retainer near the handle inwards and pull the filter downwards (Fig. 4); Open the holder and remove the other filter in the same way. Wash the filters with neutral detergent.
If the model you have purchased has the controls shown in Figure 9, clean the grease filters on average every 2 months depending on use. If the model you have purchased has the controls shown in Figures 10, 11 and 12, clean the grease filters when the Filter Alarm appears (see “Controls” paragraph).
Lightings:
-If the neon light or bulbs need changing, slacken the light cover by disconnecting the screw and remove it (Fig. 14).
For the neon light: Replace with a neon light of the same type.
For the bulbs: Use Only CANDLE HALOGEN LAMP - Ø 35mm, E14–220-240 Vac, 28W or INCANDESCENT LAMP-E14–220-240 Vac, 40W
-If the halogen lamps need changing, slacken the ring nut in an anticlockwise direction and remove the bulb itself (Fig.15). Replace with a bulb of the same type. CAUTION: Do not handle glass bulb with bare hands. In case the new halogen bulb does not light up once it is on, disconnect the apparatus for a few seconds.

GERÄTEAUSFÜHRUNG
Das Gerät wird in einer Ausführung geliefert, die einen Einsatz sowohl im Umluftbetrieb als auch im Abluftbetrieb zuläßt.
Bei Umluftversion (Abb. 1) werden die durch das Gerät beförderten Dünste und die Abluft durch die Kohlefilter gereinigt und wieder in den Raum zurückgeführt. ACHTUNG: Bei Umluftversion sind Kohlefilter zu verwenden, die die in den Raum zurückgeführte Luft reinigen.
Bei Abluftversion (Abb. 2) werden Dampf und Küchengerüche direkt, mit einem durch Wand oder Zimmerdecke geführten Abluftkanal, ins Freie geleitet. Deshalb fällt der Gebrauch von Kohlefiltern in diesem Falle weg.
Das Gerät kann auch in Verbindung mit einem externen Motor im Abluftbetrieb eingesetzt werden (Abb. 3). Bitte verwenden Sie nun externe Motore, die vom gleichen Hersteller stammen wie das Gerät.
Falls Ihr Gerät aus Edelstahl besteht, könnte es eine Schutzfolie haben: Entfernen Sie diese bitte vor der Installation.
MONTAGE DES GERÄTS
Vor dem Montieren und zur leichteren Handhabung des Gerätes die Entfettungsfilter entfernen: in Übereinstimmung mit dem Handgriff den Feststeller nach innen stossen und den Filter nach unten ziehen (Abb. 4); Schiebegestell öffnen und den zweiten Filter auf dieselbe Weise entfernen.
ACHTUNG: Während der Installation AUSSCHLIESSLICH DIE MITGELIEFERTEN SCHRAUBEN VERWENDEN und dabei in der korrekten Weise vorgehen, wie in den zu befolgenden Anweisungen beschrieben, um eine BeschädigungIhresProduktszuvermeiden.

UmetwaigeLeerräumezwischenGerätundWandauszugleichen,isteinDISTANZSTÜCKausKunststoffvorgesehen, das an der Rückseite des Gerätes mittels der drei Schrauben A anzubringen ist (Abb. 5). Die 3 zu benutzenden Schrauben A befinden sich in dem Zubehörbeutel, der dem Distanzstück beiliegt. Je nach dem auszugleichenden ZwischenraumdasDistanzstücknachgewünschtemMaßzuschneiden.
INSTALLATION UNTER DEM HÄNGESCHRANK:
Wichtige Vorbedingungen für das Montieren:
–Elektrischen Anschluß vorbereiten.
–Für die Abluftversion oder die Version mit externem Motor muß die Abluftöffnung vorher vorbereitet werden.
Befestigung wie auf den Abb. 6: die 4 Fixierlöcher, die für Ihr Modell vorgesehen sind, mit Hilfe der speziellen Bohrvorrichtung einbohren und die zur Entlüftung notwendige Öffnung ausschneiden. Das Gerät in den Hängeschrank einfügen und mittels der 4 beiliegenden Feststellschrauben daran befestigen. Die Haube gegen den Oberschrank drücken und mit den 4 mit dem Gerät gelieferten selbstschneidenden Schrauben befestigen. Befestigung mit Bügel wie auf Abb. 7 (AUF ANFRAGE): Die 2 Bügel (S) sowie die 4 mitgelieferten Schrauben aus dem Zubehörbeutel entnehmen. Die Bügel am Oberschrank anbringen und dabei darauf achten, dass sie richtig positioniert werden; dazu die 4 längeren Schrauben verwenden. Nun die Neigung des Geräts mit den 4 Schrauben (B) einstellen und das Gerät mit den zwei kürzeren Schrauben (C) an den Bügeln befestigen.
Abluftversion sowohl mit Motor wie auch für externen Motor: Luftausgangsstutzen des Gerätes und Lüftungsloch, das in der Wand vorbereitet wurde, mit Hilfe eines geeigneten Schlauches verbinden. Das Gerät an das Stromnetz anschließen. BeiVersionfürexternenMotor, dieVerbindungzwischendemGerätunddemexternenMotoristmiteinemKabelherzustelle, das mit dem Motor geliefert wird. Das Kabel ist im entsprechenden Anschlußgehäuse des Geräts anzuklemmen. Das Anschlußgehäuse befindet sich neben dem Abluftstutzen des Gerätes und ist mit dem Hinweisschild "Externer Motor" gekennzeichnet. Zum Anschluß des Kabels öffnet man den Deckel des Anschlußgehäuses (Abb. 8A + B), schließt das Kabel an den hierfür vorgesehenen Klemmen (Abb. 8C) an und schließt den Deckel wieder. Zum Öffnen und Schließen des Deckels löst bzw. schließt man die Deckelverschraubung.
Umluftversion: Der Luftkanal, der mit dem Luftausgangsstutzen des Geräts verbunden wird, führt lediglich bis zur Oberseite des Hängeschrankes und leitet dort die Luft in die Küche zurück (Schlauch werden nicht mitgeliefert). Über das Versorgungskabel die Stromversorgung der Haube herstellen.
ABMONTIERENDESKRISTALLS
Bevor man sich irgend an Pflege oder Wartung macht, muss man die Netzspannung unterbrechen. Zum Entfernen des Kristalls öffnet man das Schiebegesteil, indem man es nach vorne zieht, schiebt den Kristall nach links (oder auch nach rechts) und hebt ihn vie nach Abbildung hoch (Abb. 16).
SCHALTUNG DES GERÄTS
Je nach Version ist das Gerät mit folgenden Bedienung ausgestattet:
BEDIENUNG gemäß Abb. 9:
MOTOR - Schalter A
Bei Einstellung auf "1" wird der Motor automatisch durch das Öffnen/Schließen des ausziehbaren Luftschirmes einbzw. ausgeschaltet.
Bei Stellung auf "0" bleibt der Motor ausgeschaltet. GESCHWINDIGKEIT - Schalter B
Dieser Schalter ermöglicht die stufenlose Eistellung der Bertiebschwindigkeit des Motors. LICHT - Schalter C
Bei Einstellung des Lichtschalters auf "AUT" wird das Licht automatisch durch Betätigen des Auszugteiles einbzw. auseschaltet.
Bei Enstellung auf "0" bleibt das Licht unabhänging von der Stellung des Auszugteiles ausgeschaltet.
Die Stellung "MAN" ermöglicht die Einschaltung des Lichts unabhänging von der Stellung des Auszugteiles.
BEDIENUNG gemäß Abb. 10:
Taste A: Licht einschalten/ausschalten; alle 30 Betriebsstunden leuchtet die zutreffende Anzeige (S) auf und dies bedeutet, dass die Fettfilter zu reinigen sind; alle 120 Betriebsstunden blinkt die zutreffende Anzeige (S) auf und dies bedeutet, dass die Fettfilter gereinigt und der Kohlefilter ersetzt werden müssen. Zur Wiederaufnahme der Stundenzählung (RESET) muss die Taste A circa 1 sekunde lang gedrückt werden (während die Anzeige S eingeschaltet ist). Taste B: Schaltet den Motor mit der Geschwindigkeit 1 ein (die zutreffende Anzeige leuchtet auf); hält man die Taste circa 1” lang gedrückt, wird der Motor ausgeschaltet. Taste C: Schaltet den Motor mit der Geschwindigkeit 2 ein (die zutreffende Anzeige leuchtet auf). Taste D: Schaltet den Motor mit der Geschwindigkeit 3 ein (die zutreffende Anzeige leuchtet auf). Taste E: Schaltet den Motor mit der Geschwindigkeit 4 ein (die zutreffende Anzeige leuchtet auf).
Die Haube ist für das verzögerte Ausschalten vorgerüstet, das die vollständige Reinigung der Raumluft ermöglicht. Wird ab der 2. Geschwindigkeit die Taste der aktuellen Funktionsgeschwindigkeit (eingeschaltete Kontrolleuchte) gedrückt, verzögert sich das Ausschalten des Gerätes um 5 minuten. In diesem Zeitraum blinkt die Kontrolleuchte.
FILTERALARM:
Nach 30 Betriebsstunden schaltet sich die Kontrolleuchte des Lichtschalters (Fig. 10S) ein, um anzuzeigen, dass die Fettfilter gereinigt werden müssen.
Nach der Reinigung der Fettfilter ist zur Rückstellung des Stundenzählers die Taste C (RESET) während der Anzeige des Filteralarms circa 1 Sekunde lang zu drücken.
BEDIENUNG gemäß Abb. 11:
A)LICHT einschalten.
B)LICHT ausschalten.
C)Drosselt die Geschwindigkeit auf ein Minimum. Bei 2 Sek. langem Drücken wird der Motor abgeschaltet.
D)Betätigung des Motors (mit der zuletzt verwendeten Geschwindigkeit) und Erhöhen der Geschwindigkeit bis zum Maximum.
E)RESET FILTERALARM / TIMER: Wird diese Taste während der Anzeige des Filteralarms (bei abgeschaltetem Motor) gedrückt, wird der Stundenzähler nullgestellt. Wird die Taste hingegen bei laufendem Motor gedrückt, wird der TIMER aktiviert, der die Abzughaube nach 5 Minuten automatisch abschaltet.
L1) Die vier GRÜNEN LEDs zeigen die momentane Geschwindigkeit an.
L2) Wenn die LED rot ist (bei abgeschaltetem Motor), zeigt sie FILTERALARM an. Wenn die LED grün ist und blinkt, zeigt sie an, dass der TIMER über die Taste E aktiviert worden ist.
FILTERALARM:
Nach einer Betriebszeit von 30h leuchtet LED L2 stets ROT, um anzuzeigen, dass die Fettfilter gereinigt werden müssen. Nach einer Betriebszeit von 120h blinkt LED L2 ROT, um anzuzeigen, dass die Fettfilter gereinigt und die Kohlenfilter ausgetauscht werden müssen.
Nach der Reinigung den Fettfiltern (und/oder dem Austausch der Kohlenfilter) ist zur Rückstellung des Stundenzählers die Taste E (RESET) während der Anzeige des Filteralarms zu drücken.
BEDIENUNG gemäß Abb. 12:
P1) OFF/- Licht: Drosselt die Helligkeit auf ein Minimum. Zum Ausschalten des Lichts 2" lang gedrückt halten. P2) ON/+ Licht: Licht wird mit der zuletzt (vor dem Ausschalten) eingestellten Helligkeitsstufe eingeschaltet. Dient zur Erhöhung der Helligkeit auf ein Maximum.
P3) OFF/- Motor: Drosselt die Geschwindigkeit auf ein Minimum. Zum Ausschalten des Motors 2" lang gedrückt halten. Wenn die Taste 2" lang gedrückt wird,während das FILTER ALARM durchgeführt wird,wird der STUNDENZÄHLER auf Null gesetzt.
P4) ON/+ Motor: Motor wird mit der zuletzt (vor dem Ausschalten) eingestellten Geschwindigkeit eingeschaltet. Dient zur Erhöhung der Geschwindigkeit auf ein Maximum (NICHT INTENSIV).
