In their original state, the kitchen scales are set to the "g" unit of weight. To change the unit of
weight (g, kg, lb:oz), press the MODE button (3) when the device is switched on. The selected unit
of weight is then indicated on the display (2).
Place the item to be weighed on the platform (1) of the kitchen scales. The measurement result is
indicated on the display (2) during the weighing process.
If you would like to weigh another item, you can reset the kitchen scales to "zero" by pressing the
ON/OFF/TARE button (4). Now add the new item. The measurement result of the new item is

weighing bulky packages which cover the display (2) while weighing. With this function, the
measurement result is shown on the display (2) for a few seconds even after the item to be weighed
has been removed. Proceed as follows to use the package function for the weighing process:
Press the ON/OFF/TARE button (4) to switch on the kitchen scales.
Press the MODE button (3) until the unit of weight flashes on the display (2). If the kitchen scales
have "g" as the unit of weight, this is automatically switched to "kg" as the unit of weight.

item from the weighing platform (1) and read the measurement result indicated on the display (2).
The kitchen scales are then back at "normal" mode. If you would like to use the packet mode again,
you have to re-activate the package function.
