du mode d'emploi fait partie de cet équipement. Cette notice donne des recommandations importantes pour l'utilisation de l'appareil en toute sécurité. Prendre connaissance de cette notice avant d'utiliser l'appareil. Utiliser l'appareil en suivant les recommandations d'emploi données dans cette notice, n'utiliser aussi cet appareil que pour les applications spéciﬁ ées dans cette notice. Le retour de l'emballage dans les ﬁ lières de revalorisation permet d'économiser les matières premières et réduit le volume de déchets. Recyclez les matériaux d'emballage qui ne sont plus utilisés en conformité avec les règles locales en vigueur.

Consignes de sécurité

RISQUE D'ÉLECTROCUTION

► Veillez à ce que le cordon d'alimentation ne soit

jamais mouillé ou humide pendant le fonctionnement. Disposez le cordon de manière à éviter qu'il ne soit endommagé ou coincé.

► Si le cordon d'alimentation ou le connecteur était

endommagé, faire remplacer la ou les pièces concernées par le service après-vente avant de réutiliser l'appareil.

► Après utilisation, débranchez le cordon d'alimen-

tation.

► Il ne suﬃ t pas de mettre à l'arrêt l'appareil, en

raison de la présence de tension électrique dans l'appareil tant que celui-ci reste branché.

► Protégez la plaque de cuisson à l'encontre de

tous dommages : ne la sollicitez pas de manière irrégulière et évitez d'y faire tomber des objets. Il est interdit de continuer à l'utiliser lorsque le champ de cuisson ou le boîtier sont endommagés. Retirez alors immédiatement la ﬁ che secteur et faites d'abord réparer l'appareil.

► Les préparations brûlantes peuvent se mettre à

brûler ! Ne laissez jamais fonctionner l'appareil sans surveillance.

► Ne le placez jamais sous des objets inﬂ am-

mables tels que des rideaux ou des voilages.

► Ne réchauﬀ ez jamais un récipient hermétique-

ment fermé. La dilatation résultant de la chaleur peut facilement provoquer une explosion.

► Ne réchauﬀ ez jamais un récipient vide. Celui-ci

chauﬀ erait rapidement - et entraînerait ainsi un risque de brûlure, tout en endommageant la plaque de cuisson.

► Ne posez pas d'objets métalliques sur la plaque

► Restez prudent en chauﬀ ant des petites quantités

d'huile : ne pas régler sur un niveau de puissance ou de température élevé. Il y a en eﬀ et risque d'inﬂ ammation de l'huile

► Ne jamais faire fonctionner l'appareil sur une

surface ou un support métallique. Il y a en eﬀ et risque de surchauﬀ e et donc de source d'incendie. L'appareil peut d'autre part être endommagé de façon irréparable.

► Ne jamais opérer l'appareil avec un temporisa-

teur, une minuterie externe ou un système de télécommande séparé.

Pour éviter tout danger lié à des

champs électromagnétiques :

► Maintenez au moins un mètre d'écart avec les

appareils qui sont sensibles aux champs électromagnétiques ( écrans de télévision, horloges, supports médias magnétiques, appareils électroniques, etc.).

► Les appareils médicaux (pacemakers, appareils

auditifs ou autres dispositifs, etc.) peuvent nécessiter des distances de sécurité plus importantes. A cet égard, interrogez le fabricant de produits médicaux !

Mode de fonctionnement

Alors qu'avec les plaques de cuisson habituelles, ce sont les plaques elles-mêmes qui deviennent chaudes, la chaleur sur une plaque de cuisson à induction est générée au fond du récipient de cuisson. La plaque de cuisson elle-même ne s'échauﬀ e pas - elle ne s'échauﬀ e que lorsque le contenu du récipient monte en température, lequel contenu rayonne de la chaleur sur celle-ci (ﬂ ux caloriﬁ que en sens inverse).

Ceci est assuré par un champ électromagnétique qui génère de la chaleur uniquement dans des matériaux conducteurs (casseroles en fer, etc.). Dans d'autres matériaux, comme par ex. la porcelaine, le verre ou la céramique, le champ énergétique ne peut pas générer d'eﬀ et de chaleur.

Récipient de cuisson approprié

Utilisez uniquement des casseroles et autres appropriées pour les plaques de cuisson par induction :

■ Sont appropriées les casseroles et les poêles avec un fond en acier ou en

fonte. Vous le reconnaissez soit à une marque sur la casserole ou lorsque l'aimant fourni avec le matériel reste attaché au fond de celle-ci.

■ Tous les métaux sur lesquels les aimants n'adhèrent pas, par ex. l'aluminium,

le cuivre, l'acier inoxydable, ainsi que les récipients non métalliques, par ex. la porcelaine, le verre, la céramique, les matières plastiques, etc, sont inadaptés.

■ Les fonds de casserole minces sont mieux adaptés à la cuisson par induction

que les fonds sandwich épais. Les temps de réaction très courts aux modiﬁ cations de réglage (préchauﬀ age rapide ; cuisson à feu rapide) ne sont pas possibles sur les fonds de casserole épais.

Utilisez uniquement des casseroles et assimilées adaptées à la taille de la plaque de cuisson correspondante 1 2 4. A présent la plaque de cuisson par induc- tion peut fonctionner sans problèmes. Le fond de casserole ne doit pas présenter d'irrégularités, il doit reposer bien à plat.

Pour la plaque de cuisson arrière 1 :

– Le diamètre ne doit pas être inférieur à 16 cm pour que le champ

d'induction donne tous ses eﬀ ets. Nous recommandons une casserole d'un diamètre maximum de 18 cm pour utiliser au mieux la puissance de la plaque de cuisson.

Pour la plaque de cuisson 2 de droite et celle à l'avant (la 4) :

– Le diamètre ne doit pas dépasser 26 cm pour que le récipient ne déborde

pas de la plaque et ne pas être inférieur à 16 cm pour que le champ agisse pleinement.

Installation

L'appareil nécessite une arrivée d'air libre pour ne pas surchauﬀ er. Voilà pourquoi nous vous recommandons d'installer l'appareil comme suit :

– un espace libre de 10 cm minimum tout autour, par ex. vers le mur le

plus proche,

– un espace libre de 60 cm au minimum vers le haut (par rapport à un

rangement en hauteur, etc.).

■ L'appareil aspire de l'air pour refroidir via des ouvertures sur le dessous.

Ne le placez pas sur des surfaces en textile ou apparenté (nappes, etc.). Placez l'appareil sur une surface bien lisse.

■ Ne le placez pas à proximité de rideaux, voilages ou d'autres textiles qui

pourraient entrer en contact avec l'appareil.

■ Ne le placez pas sur une assise métallique (support en fer ou acier) :

celle-ci pourrait devenir brûlante.

■ Maintenez au moins un mètre d'écart avec les appareils qui sont sensibles

aux champs électromagnétiques ( écrans de télévision, horloges, supports médias magnétiques, appareils électroniques, etc.).

Raccord électrique

Branchez l'appareil à une prise de courant après déballage et mise en place comme indiqué.

■ Vériﬁ ez sur la plaque signalétique de l'appareil si ses caractéristiques d'ali-

mentation électrique (tension et fréquence) sont compatibles avec la tension secteur.

■ Prévoir un disjoncteur de sécurité de 16 A sur la ligne venant de la tension

secteur.

■ Ne pas utiliser de câble de rallonge pour le raccordement de l'appareil.

En cas d'urgence, le connecteur dans la prise secteur doit être rapidement accessible.

■ Ne disposez pas le cordon d'alimentation au dessus de l'appareil, au dessus

de surfaces chaudes ou d'objets à bords tranchants.

■ Veillez à ce que le cordon d'alimentation ne soit pas bloqué par des objets

quelconques.

La sécurité de l'appareil au niveau électrique n'est assurée que si une ligne conducteur de protection est branchée dans les règles. Le fonctionnement de l'appareil sur une prise électrique sans conducteur de protection est interdit. En cas de doute consultez un électricien pour vériﬁ er l'installation électrique. Le constructeur décline toute responsabilité pour des dommages suite à une anomalie sur le conducteur de protection (manquant ou coupé).

Fonctionnement

Plaques de cuisson par induction

■ La plaque de cuisson 4 à l'avant et la plaque de cuisson 2 à droite

disposent chacune de 10 niveaux de puissance. La plaque de cuisson 2 à droite fonctionne indépendamment des autres plaques : elle peut toujours fonctionner à n'importe quel niveau de puissance, y compris le maximum 10.

■ La plaque de cuisson 1 à l'arrière dispose de 5 niveaux de puissance.

■ La plaque de cuisson 4 à l'avant et la 1 à l'arrière fonctionnent selon un

régime dit de "Powersharing" : ce qui veut dire que la puissance cumulée des deux plaques en fonctionnement simultané ne doit pas dépasser le niveau 10 (2000 W). Si par exemple la plaque de cuisson 4 à l'avant est réglée sur le niveau de puissance 6, le niveau maximum de puissance pour la plaque de cuisson 1 arrière ne peut alors être que le 4. La puissance totale de ces plaques ne dépasse pas ainsi 2000 W. Consultez le tableau suivant si vous voulez utiliser simultanément les plaques de cuisson 4 à l'avant et 1 à l'arrière:

REMARQUE

La plaque de cuisson 4 à l'avant est la plus puissante des trois plaques de

cuisson 1 2 4, puisque pouvant fournir la puisance nominale la plus élevée (2000 W).

En mode température chacune des plaques de cuisson est réglable simulta-

nément à la température maxima (240°C).

Opération

L'utilisation des plaques de cuisson 1 2 4 est présentée en prenant l'exemple de la plaque de cuisson 1 arrière. Les touches et les témoins lumineux sont numérotés sur le rabattant de la plaque de cuisson 1 arrière. L'utilisation des 3 plaques de cuisson est identique, en agissant sur les éléments de commande e i o correspondants.

1) Installez le récipient de cuisson au milieu de la plaque de cuisson 1 arrière.

"On/Standby" w. Sur l'aﬃ cheur 7 est indiqué le niveau de puissance 5 (préréglage d'oﬃ ce) et la cuisson commence. Vous pouvez maintenant choisir avec la touche "F" q le mode de cuisson souhaité : Le mode ‚puissance' (niveau de puissance 5) est le réglage par défaut. Actionnez la touche "F" q jusqu'à ce que le témoin lumineux ‚mode température' 9 s'allume (si vous souhaitez passer dans le mode température). "120" s'aﬃ che sur l'aﬃ cheur 7, ce qui indique qu'une température de 120°C est réglée.

5) Pour mettre à l'arrêt la plaque de cuisson 1, actionnez la touche "On/ Standby" w. Pour mettre à l'arrêt simultanément toutes les plaques de cuisson 1 2 4, actionnez la touche "On/Standby" t.

► Lorsque les 3 plaques de cuisson 1 2 4 sont à l'arrêt après la ﬁ n d'une

éparation quelconque, actionnez d'abord la touche "On/Standby" t

Mise à l'arrêt automatique de sécurité

■ Le dispositif de détection ‚présence de casserole' met automatiquement

l'appareil à l'arrêt (en mode standby), dans les circonstances suivantes :

– Enlèvement plus de 15 secondes env. du récipient de cuisson sur une

des plaques de cuisson 1 2 4 ou absence complète de récipient.

– En cas d'enlèvement sur une durée plus courte, le champ énergétique est

certes automatiquement éteint - mais la fonction sélectionnée est maintenue. Environ toutes les 3 sec., un signal sonore rappelle que l'appareil s'éteint automatiquement après environ 15 secondes. Minuterie

Vous pouvez sélectionner une durée de 0 - 180 min, qui lorsqu'elle est écoulée, met à l'arrêt la plaque de cuisson correspondante 1 2 4. Si vous actionnez la touche "+" 6, le délai se rallonge de 5 minutes. Si vous actionnez la touche "-" 5, le délai se raccourcit de 1 minute.

L'utilisation de la minuterie des plaques de cuisson 1 2 4 est présentée en prenant l'exemple de la plaque de cuisson 1 arrière. Les touches et les témoins lumineux sont numérotés sur le rabattant de la plaque de cuisson 1 arrière. L'utilisation des 3 plaques de cuisson est identique, en agissant sur les éléments de commande e i o correspondants.

Minuterie en mode puissance

1) Démarrez tout d'abord le réchauﬀ ement, conformément à la description précédente.

2) Actionnez la touche "F" q jusqu'à ce que le témoin lumineux du mode puissance 8 et le témoin lumineux de la minuterie 0 s'allument en même temps.

3) Réglez avec les touches "-" 5 et "+" 6 la durée souhaitée au bout de laquelle la plaque de cuisson 1 doit s'arrêter.

L'aﬃ cheur 7 indique maintenant alternativement le niveau de puissance choisie et le temps restant jusqu'à l'arrêt.

A l'issue de la durée programmée la plaque de cuisson 1 s'arrête automatique- ment.

Sécurité enfant

Cet appareil est équipé d'un dispositif "sécurité enfant" pour empêcher toute manipulation non voulue (arrêt, changement de consigne de température, etc.).

■ Actionnez la touche "Lock" z jusqu'à ce que un signal sonore sonore

retentisse et que le témoin lumineux ‚sécurité enfant' u s'allume. Toutes les touches, y compris la touche "Lock" z et la touche "On/Standby" t sont verrouillées.

■ Pour lever la sécurité enfant, réactionnez la touche "Lock" z jusqu'à ce

qu'un signal sonore retentisse et que le témoin lumineux "sécurité enfant" u s'éteigne. L'inhibition des touches est alors levée.

■ Lorsque des saletés sont visibles au niveau de la fente d'aération en dessous

de l'appareil, vous pouvez essayer de les enlever à l'aide d'un aspirateur.

Maakt u zich voor het gebruik van het product vertrouwd met alle gebruiks- en veiligheidsinstructies. Gebruik dit product uitsluitend op de voorgeschreven wijze en voor de aangegeven doeleinden. Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor het verhitten en warm houden van levensmiddelen. Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor huishoudelijk gebruik, dus privé. Gebruik het apparaat niet bedrijfsmatig.

Gebruik het apparaat alleen in droge ruimtes en gebruik het nooit in de openlucht.

Inhoud van het pakket

Het apparaat wordt standaard met volgende componenten geleverd:

1) Haal alle delen van het apparaat en de gebruiksaanwijzing uit de doos.

2) Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal.

Controleer of de levering compleet is en of er sprake is van zichtbare

► Als de levering niet compleet is of er is sprake is van schade als gevolg

van gebrekkige verpakking of door transport, neemt u contact op met de Service-Hotline (zie hoofdstuk Service).

De verpakking afvoeren

De verpakking beschermt het apparaat tegen transportschade. De verpakkingsmaterialen zijn niet schadelijk voor het milieu en gekozen uit afvoertechnische aspecten en daarom recyclebaar.

Het terugvoeren van de verpakking in de materiaalkringloop is een besparing op grondstoﬀ en en zorgt voor minder afval. Voer verpakkingsmaterialen die niet meer worden gebruikt af conform de plaatselijke geldende voorschriften.

Indien mogelijk de originele verpakking bewaren gedurende de garantie-

Veiligheidsvoorschriften

GEVAAR VOOR STROOMSCHOKKEN

► Let erop, dat het netsnoer tijdens het bedrijf nooit

nat of vochtig wordt. Leg het zo neer dat het niet beklemd raakt of anderszins beschadigd kan worden.

► Als het netsnoer of de netstekker beschadigd blijken,

laat u deze eerst vervangen door de service (klantenservice), voordat u het apparaat weer gebruikt.

► Trek na gebruik altijd de netstekker uit het stop-

contact.

► Alleen uitschakelen is niet genoeg, omdat het

apparaat onder spanning blijft staan zolang de stekker in het stopcontact zit.

► Bescherm de kookplaat tegen beschadigingen:

belast deze niet ongelijkmatig en laat er geen voorwerpen op vallen. Het apparaat mag niet verder worden gebruikt, als kookplaat of behuizing beschadigd zijn. Haal in dat geval onmiddellijk de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat eerst repareren.

Laat het apparaat nooit onbeheerd werken.

► Plaats het daarom ook nooit onder brandbare

voorwerpen, vooral niet onder gordijnen of doeken.

► Nooit reservoirs verhitten die helemaal afgesloten

zijn. Door de uitzetting wegens hitte kan het zeer snel tot een explosie komen.

► Nooit lege reservoirs verhitten. Deze kunnen snel

► Leg geen voorwerpen van metaal op de kook-

plaat neer, zoals bijv. keukengereedschappen of bestekdelen. Deze kunnen in het inductieveld erg heet worden.

► Wees voorzichtig bij het verhitten van kleine hoe-

veelheden olie - stel geen hoog prestatieniveau of een hoge temperatuur in. Anders zou de olie kunnen gaan branden en vlam vatten!

► Gebruik het apparaat nooit op een metalen tafel

of een andere ondergrond van metaal. Deze kan verhit raken en zodoende brand veroorzaken. Of kan het apparaat onherstelbaar beschadigd raken.

Wijze van functioneren

Terwijl gewone kookplaten zelf erg heet worden, ontstaat de hitte bij een inductiekookplaat in de bodem van het kookgerei. De kookplaat zelf wordt niet verhit deze wordt heet, als er iets in een pan daarop wordt verhit en de hitte in de pan terug-straalt op de kookplaat. (retour-verwarming).

Hiervoor zorgt een energieveld dat alleen in materialen die magnetisch geleiden, bijv. ijzeren pannen, hitte laat ontstaan. In andere materialen, zoals bijv. porselein, glas of keramiek kan het energieveld geen hittewerking oproepen.

Geschikt kookgerei

Gebruik alleen kookgerei dat geschikt is voor inductiekookplaten:

■ Geschikt zijn potten en pannen met een bodem van staal of gietijzer. Dit

herkent u ofwel aan een aanduiding op de pan, of als de meegeleverde magneet blijft hechten aan de bodem van de pan.

■ Al het metaal waaraan geen magneet blijft hechten, bijv. aluminium, koper,

RVS, evenals reservoirs die niet van metaal zijn, bijv. van porselein, glas, keramiek of kunststof etc. zijn ongeschikt.

■ Dunne panbodems zijn beter geschikt voor het inductie koken dan dikke

sandwichbodems. De zeer korte reactietijden op de veranderingen van instelling (korte opwarmtijd; snel doseerbaar aanbraden) zijn niet mogelijk bij dikke panbodems.

Gebruik alleen kookgerei passend voor de grootte van de kookplaat 1 2 4. Alleen dan kan de inductiekookplaat perfect functioneren. De bodem van de pan mag niet ongelijk zijn, maar moet vlak op liggen.

Voor de achterste kookplaat 1:

– De diameter mag niet kleiner zijn dan 16 cm zodat het energieveld

werkt. Wij adviseren een pan waarvan de diameter maximaal 18 cm bedraagt om het vermogen van de kookplaat optimaal te gebruiken.

Het apparaat heeft vrije luchttoevoer nodig om niet oververhit te raken. Zet het apparaat daarom zo neer, dat ...

– min. 10 cm afstand rondom vrij blijft, bijv. ten opzichte van de dichtstbij-

zijnde wand,

– min. 60 cm afstand naar boven toe vrij blijft, bijv. ten opzichte van een

hangkast.

■ Voor de koeling zuigt het apparaat lucht aan via de openingen aan de

onderzijde. Plaats het niet op textiele of wollige oppervlakken zoals bijv. tafellakens. Gebruik het alleen op gladde oppervlakken.

■ Plaats het niet nabij doeken, gordijnen of ander textiel, dat in de tocht tegen

het apparaat zou kunnen glijden.

■ Plaats het niet op metaalachtige ondergronden, zoals bijv. op ondergronden

die ijzer of staal bevatten. Deze kunnen sterk verhit raken.

■ Houd ten minste een afstand van 1 m aan ten opzichte van apparaten die

gevoelig zijn voor elektromagnetische velden (bijv. beeldschermen, klokken, magnetische opslagmedia, elektronische apparatuur enz.).

Elektrische aansluiting

Als u het apparaat zoals beschreven heeft uitgepakt en neergezet, verbindt u het met een stopcontact.

■ Vergelijk alvorens het apparaat aan te sluiten de aansluitgegevens (spanning

en frequentie) op het kenplaatje met die van uw lichtnet.

■ Het stopcontact moet beveiligd zijn via een 16A-aardlekschakelaar.

■ Gebruik geen verlengsnoer om het apparaat aan te sluiten. De netstekker

moet in geval van nood snel te bereiken zijn.

■ Leg het netsnoer niet over het apparaat heen of over oppervlakken die heet

zijn en

/ of scherpe randen hebben.

■ Let erop dat het netsnoer niet ingeklemd wordt.

Die elektrische veiligheid van het apparaat is alleen dan gegarandeerd als het wordt aangesloten aan een beschermingsgeleider-systeem dat volgens de voorschriften werd geïnstalleerd. Gebruik een stopcontact zonder beschermingsgeleider is verboden. Laat in geval van twijfel de huisinstallatie nakijken door een elektricien. De fabrikant is niet aansprakelijk voor schade ten gevolge van een gebrekkige of onderbroken beschermingsgeleider.

Werking

De inductiekookplaten

■ De voorste 4 en de rechter kookplaat 2 beschikken telkens over 10 pres-

tatieniveaus. De rechter 2 kookplaat loopt onafhankelijk van de overige kookplaten, d.w.z. u kunt altijd een prestatieniveau tot een prestatieniveau 10 instellen.

■ De achterste kookplaat 1 beschikt over 5 prestatieniveaus.

■ De voorste 4 en de achterste 1 kookplaat werken met het zogenaamde

"Powersharing". Dat betekent dat in het totaal tot aan prestatieniveau 10 (2000 W) kan worden ingesteld. Als bijv. bij de voorste kookplaat 4 het prestatieniveau 6 is ingesteld, kan bij de achterste kookplaat 1 maximaal het prestatieniveau 4 ingesteld worden. Daardoor wordt een totaal aan tal watt van 2000 W niet overschreden. Als u de voorste 4 en de achterste 1 kookplaat gelijktijdig wilt gebruiken, oriënteert u zich dan aan de navolgende tabel:

Veiligheidsuitschakeling

■ De herkenning van het kookreservoir schakelt het apparaat voor de veilig-

heid automatisch uit (in de standby-modus) als u ...

afhaalt, of er zelfs helemaal niet op zet.

– Bij kortstondig afnemen wordt het energieveld weliswaar direct uitge-

schakeld - de gekozen functie blijft echter bewaard. Ongeveer om de 3 sec. herinnert een geluidssignaal eraan, dat het apparaat na ongeveer 15 seconden automatisch uitschakelt. Als u het kookreservoir binnen 15 seconden weer op de kookplaat 1 2 4 plaatst, loopt de gekozen functie met dezelfde instellingen verder.

Timer

U kunt een tijd van 0 - 180 min. vooraf kiezen na verloop waarvan de betreﬀ ende kookplaat 1 2 4 moet uitschakelen. Als u op de toets "+" 6 drukt, wordt de tijd steeds met 5 minuten verhoogd. Als u op de toets "-" 5 drukt, wordt de tijd steeds met 1 minuut verlaagd.

De bediening van de timer van de kookplaten 1 2 4 wordt hier uitgelegd aan de hand van de achterste kookplaat 1. De toetsen en indicatielampjes zijn doorgenummerd op de uitvouwpagina voor de achterste kookplaat 1. De bediening is echter bij alle 3 kookplaten met behulp van de betreﬀ ende bedieningselementen e i o identiek.

Timer in de prestatie-modus

1) Start eerst het verhitten in de prestatie-modus zoals eerder beschreven.

2) Druk dan zo vaak op de toets "F" q totdat het indicatielampje prestatiemodus 8 en het indicatielampje timer 0 gelijktijdig branden.

3) Stel met behulp van de toetsen "-" 5 en "+" 6 de gewenste tijd in na verloop waarvan de kookplaat 1 moet uitschakelen.

Het display 7 geeft nu afwisselend het ingestelde prestatieniveau en de nog resterende tijd tot aan het uitschakelen aan.

Nadat de tijd is afgelopen, wordt de kookplaat 1 automatisch uitgeschakeld.

OPMERKING

Als u, terwijl de timer al loopt, met behulp van de toets "F" q de tempera-

►

tuur-instelling kiest (indicatielampje "temperatuur-modus" 9 brandt) en een temperatuur instelt, blijft de timer-instelling bestaan en het apparaat wisselt alleen van de prestatie-modus naar de temperatuur-modus.

Kinderslot

Om onbevoegd aanzetten of veranderen v an de instellingen, bijvoorbeeld door kinderen, te voorkomen, is dit apparaat uitgerust met een kinderslot.

■ Druk zo lang op de toets "Lock" z totdat een geluidssignaal te horen is en

het indicatielampje kinderslot u brandt. Nu zijn alle toetsen behalve de toets "Lock" z en de toets "On

► Voordat u het apparaat reinigt, haalt u altijd eerst de stekker uit het stop-

contact.

► In geen geval mag het apparaat, of delen ervan, worden onderge-

dompeld in vloeistoﬀ en! Hierdoor kan levensgevaar ontstaan door een elektrische schok en het apparaat kan beschadigd raken.

► Open nooit de behuizing van het apparaat. Anders is er sprake van levens-

gevaar door elektrische schok.

► Laat het apparaat eerst afkoelen voordat u het schoonmaakt.

Gebruik geen oplos- of schuurmiddelen. Deze kunnen de kookplaten 1 2 4

van het apparaat beschadigen.

► Gebruik geen agressieve, chemische of schurende schoonmaakmiddelen.

Deze kunnen het oppervlak onherstelbaar aantasten!

■ Reinig alle oppervlakken en het netsnoer alleen met een licht vochtige

vaatdoek.

■ Droog het apparaat in elk geval goed af, voordat u het opnieuw gebruikt.

■ Vastgebakken vervuilingen op de kookplaat 1 2 4 kunt u verwijderen

met een speciaal schaafmes voor glazen kookplaten, te verkrijgen in de speciaalzaak voor huishoudelijke artikelen.

■ Als vervuilingen zichtbaar zijn in het bereik van de ventilatiesleuven, kunt u

proberen om deze van buiten met de stofzuiger eruit te zuigen.

Lieferumfang

1) Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem Karton.

2) Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzka-

bel niemals nass oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt oder anderweitig beschädigt werden kann.

Funktionsweise

Während normale Kochplatten selber heiß werden, entsteht die Hitze bei einer Induktionskochplatte im Boden des Kochgeschirrs. Das Kochfeld selber wird nicht erhitzt - es erhitzt sich, wenn Etwas in einem Topf darauf erhitzt wird und die Hitze im Topf auf das Kochfeld zurückstrahlt. (Rückerwärmung).

Hierfür sorgt ein Energiefeld, das nur in magnetisch leitfähigen Materialien Hitze erzeugt, z.B. Töpfe aus Eisen. In anderen Materialen, wie z.B. Porzellan, Glas, oder Keramik, kann das Energiefeld keine Hitzewirkung erzeugen.

Geeignetes Kochgeschirr

Verwenden Sie nur Kochgeschirr, das für Induktionskochfelder geeignet ist:

■ Geeignet sind Töpfe und Pfannen mit einem Boden aus Stahl oder Gussei-

sen. Dies erkennen Sie entweder durch eine Kennzeichnung am Topf, oder wenn der mitgelieferte Magnet am Topfboden haften bleibt.

■ Ungeeignet sind alle Metalle, an denen kein Magnet haften bleibt, z.B.

Aluminium, Kupfer, Edelstahl, ebenso nicht-metallische Gefäße, z.B. aus Porzellan, Glas, Keramik, Kunststoﬀ e usw..

■ Dünne Topfböden sind für das Induktionskochen besser geeignet als dicke

Sandwichböden. Die sehr kurzen Reaktionszeiten auf Einstelländerungen (kurze Vorwärmzeit; schnelles dosierbares Anbraten) sind bei dicken Topfböden nicht möglich.

Verwenden Sie nur Kochgeschirr, das für die Größe des jeweiligen Kochfeldes 1 2 4 passend ist. Nur dann kann das Induktionskochfeld einwandfrei funktionieren. Der Topfboden darf nicht uneben sein, sondern muss ﬂ ach auﬂ iegen.

Für das hintere Kochfeld 1:

– Der Durchmesser darf nicht kleiner als 16 cm sein, damit das Energiefeld

wirkt. Wir empfehlen einen Topf, dessen Durchmesser maximal 18 cm beträgt, um die Leistung der Kochplatte optimal zu nutzen.

Für das rechte 2 und das vordere Kochfeld 4:

– Der Durchmesser darf nicht größer als 26 cm sein, damit das Gefäß

nicht übersteht, und nicht kleiner als 16 cm, damit das Energiefeld überhaupt wirkt.

Aufstellen

Das Gerät benötigt freie Luftzufuhr, um nicht zu überhitzen. Stellen Sie das Gerät deshalb so auf, dass ...

– min. 10 cm Abstand rundum frei bleibt, z.B. zur nächsten Wand, – min. 60 cm Abstand nach oben frei bleibt, z.B. zu einem Hängeschrank.

■ Das Gerät saugt zur Kühlung über die Öﬀ nungen an der Unterseite Luft an.

Stellen Sie es nicht auf textilen oder ﬂ auschigen Oberﬂ ächen auf, wie z.B. Tischdecken. Betreiben Sie es nur auf glatten Oberﬂ ächen.

■ Stellen Sie es nicht in der Nähe von Vorhängen, Gardinen oder anderen

Textilien auf, die sich im Luftstrom an das Gerät schmiegen könnten.

■ Stellen Sie es nicht auf metallische Untergründe, wie zum Beispiel eisen- oder

stahlhaltige Unterlagen. Diese können sich stark erhitzen.

■ Halten Sie mindestens 1 m Abstand zu Geräten ein, die empﬁ ndlich gegen-

über elektromagnetischen Feldern sind (z.B. Bildschirme, Uhren, magnetische Speichermedien, elektronische Geräte usw.).

Elektrischer Anschluss

Wenn Sie das Gerät wie beschrieben ausgepackt und aufgestellt haben, verbinden Sie es mit einer Netzsteckdose.

■ Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die Anschlussdaten (Span-

nung und Frequenz) auf dem Typenschild mit denen Ihres Stromnetzes.

■ Die Netzsteckdose muss über einen 16A-Sicherungsschutzschalter abgesi-

chert sein.

■ Benutzen Sie kein Verlängerungskabel um das Gerät anzuschließen. Der

Netzstecker muss im Notfall schnell zu erreichen sein.

■ Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel nicht über das Gerät oder über heiße und

scharfkantige Flächen.

■ Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel nicht eingeklemmt wird.

Die elektrische Sicherheit des Gerätes ist nur dann gewährleistet, wenn es an ein vorschriftsmäßig installiertes Schutzleitersystem angeschlossen wird. Der Betrieb an einer Netzsteckdose ohne Schutzleiter ist verboten. Lassen Sie im Zweifelsfall die Hausinstallation durch eine Elektro-Fachkraft überprüfen. Der Hersteller haftet nicht für Schäden, die durch einen fehlenden oder unterbrochenen Schutzleiter verursacht werden.

Betrieb

Die Induktionskochfelder

■ Das vordere 4 und das rechte Kochfeld 2 verfügen über je 10 Leistungs-

stufen. Das rechte 2 Kochfeld läuft unabhängig von den übrigen Kochfeldern, d.h. Sie können jederzeit eine Leistungsstufe bis zu Leistungsstufe 10 einstellen.

■ Das hintere Kochfeld 1 verfügt über 5 Leistungsstufen.

■ Das vordere 4 und das hintere 1 Kochfeld arbeiten mit dem sogenanntem

„Powersharing“. Das heißt, dass insgesamt bis zu Leistungsstufe 10 (2000 W) eingestellt werden kann. Wenn zum Beispiel beim vorderen Kochfeld 4 die Leistungsstufe 6 eingestellt ist, kann beim hinteren Kochfeld 1 maximal die Leistungsstufe 4 eingestellt werden. Dadurch wird eine Gesamtwattzahl von 2000 W nicht überschritten. Wenn Sie das vordere 4 und das hintere 1 Kochfeld gleichzeitig benutzen wollen, orientieren Sie sich an nachfolgender Tabelle:

Bedienen

Die Bedienung der Kochfelder 1 2 4 wird hier exemplarisch für das hintere Kochfeld 1 erklärt. Die Tasten und Kontrollleuchten sind auf der Ausklappseite für die hintere Kochplatte 1 durchnummeriert. Die Bedienung ist jedoch bei allen 3 Kochfeldern mit Hilfe der jeweiligen Bedienelemente e i o identisch.

1) Stellen Sie mittig auf das hintere Kochfeld 1 das Kochgefäß mit Inhalt auf.

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!

Insgesamt dürfen alle Töpfe, die auf die 3 Kochfelder gestellt werden,

►

zusammen nicht mehr als 10 kg wiegen (zusammen mit dem Inhalt). Ansonsten wird das Gerät beschädigt.

2) Drücken Sie die Taste „On / Standby“ t. Die Kontrollleuchte On / Standby r blinkt.

HINWEIS

Wenn Sie innerhalb von 30 Sekunden kein Kochfeld 1 2 4 aktivieren,

►

schaltet sich das Gerät wieder in den Standby-Modus.

HINWEISE

Sie können zwischen dem Kochen mit Leistungsstufen oder dem Kochen mit Temperatureinstellungen wählen:

► Wenn Sie im Temperaturmodus kochen, erhitzt das Gerät das Kochgefäß

auf die eingestellte Temperatur. Falls die eingestellte Temperatur unterschritten wird, heizt das Gerät wieder auf. Die Temperatur wird gehalten.

► Bei der Einstellung der „Leistungsstufe“ wird das Kochgefäß unterschiedlich

schnell erhitzt. Je höher die eingestellte Leistungsstufe, umso schneller wird das Kochgefäß erhitzt.

3) Wählen Sie das hintere Kochfeld 1 aus, indem Sie die Taste „On / Standby“ w drücken. Im Display 7 erscheint die immer voreingestellte Leistungsstufe 5 und der Kochvorgang beginnt. Sie können nun mit Hilfe der Taste „F“ q auswählen, welchen Betriebsmodus Sie benutzen wollen: Der Leistungsmodus (Leistungsstufe 5) ist vorab eingestellt. Drücken Sie die Taste „F“ q so oft, bis die Kontrollleuchte Temperaturmodus 9 leuchtet, wenn Sie in den Temperaturmodus wechseln wollen. „120“ erscheint im Display 7 und zeigt damit an, dass eine Temperatur von 120°C voreingestellt ist.

4) Wenn Sie den gewünschten Betriebsmodus eingestellt haben, wählen Sie mit Hilfe der Tasten „-“ 5 und „+“ 6 die gewünschte Leistungsstufe bzw. Temperatur. Die Temperatur lässt sich in 20°C-Schritten einstellen.

5) Um das Kochfeld 1 auszuschalten, drücken Sie die Taste „On / Standby“ w. Um alle Kochfelder Taste „On

Sicherheitsabschaltung

■ Die Kochtopf-Erkennung schaltet zur Sicherheit das Gerät automatisch aus

(in den Standby-Modus), wenn Sie ...

– das Kochgefäß länger als ca. 15 Sek. vom Kochfeld 1 2 4 nehmen,

oder erst gar keines darauf stellen.

– Bei kürzerem Herunternehmen wird zwar das Energiefeld sofort abge-

schaltet - die gewählte Funktion jedoch bleibt erhalten. Ungefähr alle 3 Sek. erinnert dann ein Signalton daran, dass sich das Gerät nach ungefähr 15 Sekunden automatisch ausschaltet. Wenn Sie innerhalb von 15 Sekunden das Kochgefäß wieder auf das Kochfeld 1 2 4 stellen, läuft die gewählte Funktion mit den gleichen Einstellungen weiter.

Timer

Sie können eine Zeit von 0 - 180 Min. vorwählen, nach deren Ablauf sich das jeweilige Kochfeld 1 2 4 ausschalten soll. Wenn Sie die Taste „+“ 6 drücken, erhöht sich die Zeit um jeweils 5 Minuten. Wenn Sie die Taste „-“ 5 drücken, verringert sich die Zeit um jeweils 1 Minute.

Die Bedienung des Timers der Kochfelder 1 2 4 wird hier exemplarisch für das hintere Kochfeld 1 erklärt. Die Tasten und Kontrollleuchten sind auf der Ausklappseite für die hintere Kochplatte 1 durchnummeriert. Die Bedienung ist jedoch bei allen 3 Kochfeldern mit Hilfe der jeweiligen Bedienelemente e i o identisch.

Timer im Leistungsmodus

1) Starten Sie erst das Erhitzen im Leistungsmodus wie zuvor beschrieben.

2) Drücken Sie dann die Taste „F“ q so oft, bis die Kontrollleuchte Leistungsmodus 8 und die Kontrollleuchte Timer 0 gleichzeitig leuchten.

3) Stellen Sie mit Hilfe der Tasten „-“ 5 und „+“ 6 die gewünschte Zeit ein, nach deren Ablauf sich das Kochfeld 1 ausschalten soll.

Das Display 7 zeigt nun abwechselnd die eingestellte Leistungsstufe und die noch verbleibende Zeit bis zum Abschalten an.

Nach dem Ablaufen der Zeit schaltet sich das Kochfeld 1 automatisch aus.

Wenn Sie, während der Timer schon läuft, mit Hilfe der Taste „F“ q die

Temperatureinstellung wählen (Kontrollleuchte „Temperaturmodus“ 9 leuchtet) und eine Temperatur einstellen, bleibt die Timereinstellung bestehen und das Gerät wechselt nur vom Leistungsmodus in den Temperaturmodus.

Timer im Temperaturmodus

1) Starten Sie erst das Erhitzen im Temperaturmodus wie zuvor beschrieben.

2) Drücken Sie dann die Taste „F“ q so oft, bis die Kontrollleuchte Temperaturmodus 9 und die Kontrollleuchte Timer 0 gleichzeitig leuchten.

3) Stellen Sie mit Hilfe der Tasten „-“ 5 und „+“ 6 die gewünschte Zeit ein, nach deren Ablauf sich das Kochfeld 1 ausschalten soll.

Das Display 7 zeigt nun abwechselnd die eingestellte Temperatur und die noch verbleibende Zeit bis zum Abschalten an.

Nach dem Ablaufen der Zeit schaltet sich das Kochfeld 1 automatisch aus.

Wenn Sie, während der Timer schon läuft, mit Hilfe der Taste „F“ q die

Leistungsstufeneinstellung wählen (Kontrollleuchte Leistungsmodus 8 leuchtet) und eine Leistungsstufe einstellen, bleibt die Timereinstellung bestehen und das Gerät wechselt nur vom Temperaturmodus in den Leistungsmodus.

Kindersicherung

Um unbefugtes Anschalten oder Ändern der Einstellungen, zum Beispiel durch Kinder, zu verhindern, ist dieses Gerät mit einer Kindersicherung ausgestattet.

■ Wenn Verschmutzungen im Bereich der Luftschlitze unter dem Gerät sichtbar

sind, können Sie versuchen, diese von außen mit einem Staubsauger heraus zu saugen.

Safety instructions

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

► Ensure that the power cable can never become

wet or damp during operation. Lay the cable such that it cannot be pinched or otherwise damaged.

► Should the cable or the electric plug become

damaged, arrange for it to be replaced by Customer Services before you continue to use the appliance.

► After use, always disconnect the plug from the

► Switching the appliance oﬀ is not suﬃ cient, be-

cause the appliance receives power for as long as the plug is connected to the mains power socket.

► Protect the cooking plate from damages: Do not

burden it irregularly and do not allow objects to

not set a high performance or temperature level. If you do, the oil could ignite and catch ﬁ re!

► Maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter to appli-

ances that are sensitive to electromagnetic ﬁ elds (e.g. computer screens, clocks, magnetic storage media, electronic devices etc.).

► Medical-technical devices such as heart pace-

makers, hearing aids and other appliances may possibly need to be kept at a greater distance. If in doubt, consult the manufacturer of the appliance!

Manner of operation

Whilst standard hotplates become warm themselves, in an induction cooker the heat is created in the base of the cookware. The cooking area itself does not heat up - it becomes hot itself only insofor as, when a pan is heated up on it, then some heat radiates back onto the cooking area. (Reverse heating).

For this, an energy ﬁ eld generates heat which can only be created in magnetically conductible materials, for example, pans made of ferric materials. In other materials, for example porcelain, glass or ceramic, the energy ﬁ eld cannot create any heating eﬀ ect.

Suitable cookware

Use only cookware that is suitable for induction cookers:

■ Suitable are pots and pans with a base made of steel or cast iron. These

are recognisable either through the markings on the pan or if the supplied magnet clings to the base of the pan.

■ Unsuitable are all types of cookware made of metals to which a magnet

does not cling, for example aluminium, copper and stainless steel, as well as non-metallic cookware made of porcelain, glass, ceramics and plastics etc.

■ Thin pan bottoms are better suited for induction cookers than thick sandwich

bottoms. The very short reaction times to setting adjustments (short pre-warm time; fast metered roasting) are not possible with thick pan bases.

Only use cookware that is suitable for the size of the respective cooking area 1 2 4. Only then can the induction cooker function perfectly. The base of the pan may not be uneven, rather, it must sit ﬂ at.

For the rear cooking area 1:

– The diameter must not be less than 16 cm, so that the energy ﬁ eld has

an eﬀ ect. We recommend a pan with a maximum diameter of 18 cm, so as to optimally use the power of the cooking area.

For the right 2 and rear cooking areas 4:

– The diameter must be no larger than 26 cm, so that the pan does not

overextend, and not less than 16 cm, so that the energy ﬁ eld can have an eﬀ ect.

Setup

So as not to overheat, the appliance requires unrestricted ventilation. Therefore, position the appliance such that ...

– there is an all-round free space of minimum 10 cm, e.g. to the nearest

wall,

– a free space directly above of minimum 60 cm, e.g. to a suspended wall

cabinet.

■ For cooling, the appliance draws in air through openings on the underside.

Do not place it on fabrics or plush surfaces, such as table cloths. Operate it only on smooth surfaces.

■ Do not place it adjacent to curtains, drapes or other textiles which, due to

the airﬂ ow, could press themselves against the appliance.

■ Do not place it on surfaces which may contain ferric or steel materials under-

neath. These may become very hot.

■ Maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter to appliances that are sensitive

to electromagnetic ﬁ elds (e.g. computer screens, clocks, magnetic storage media, electronic devices etc.).

Electrical connection

When you have unpacked and set up the appliance as described, connect the plug into a mains power socket.

■ Before you connect the appliance, ensure that the connection data (voltage

and frequency) given on the data plate tallies with your mains power supply.

■ The mains power socket must be protected by a 16A fuse.

■ Do not use an extension cable when connecting the appliance. In the event

of an emergency, the plug must be quickly accessible.

■ Do not route the power cable over the appliance or over hot and / or sharp

surfaces.

■ Ensure that the power cable cannot be trapped.

The electrical safety of the appliance is only assured when it is connected to a correctly installed protective conductor system. Operation on a mains power socket without a protective conductor is prohibited. If in doubt, arrange for the house wiring to be checked by a qualiﬁ ed electrician. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by a missing or interrupted protective conductor.

Operation

The induction cooking areas

■ The front 4 and the right cooking areas 2 each have 10 power levels. The

right 2 cooking area runs independently of the other cooking areas, i.e. you can always set an output power level up of to level 10.

■ The rear cooking area 1 has 5 power levels.

■ The front 4 and the rear 1 cooking areas function with so-called "power

sharing". Which means that an overall power level of up to 10 (2000 W) can be set. If, for example, the front cooking area 4 is set at the power level 6, the rear cooking area 1 can be set to a maximum of power level of 4. Thereby, a total wattage of 2000 W is not exceeded. If you want to use the front 4 and the rear 1 cooking areas simultaneously, then orientate yourself on the following table:

On the rear cooking area 1 (1000 W), the maximum power level that

Operation

The operation of the individual cooking areas 1 2 4 is explained here by using the rear cooking area 1 as the example. The buttons and control lamps for the rear cooking area 1 are numbered on the fold-out page. However, the operation of all 3 cooking areas is identical with the respective operating elements e i o.

1) Place the cookware with contents in the middle of the rear cooking area 1.

If you do not activate a cooking area 1 2 4 within 30 seconds, the

appliance switches back to standby-mode.

► When you are cooking in the temperature mode, the appliance heats the

cookware to the set temperature. If the set temperature should fall, the appliance heats it up again. The temperature is maintained.

► With setting of the "Power level", the cookware is heated at diﬀ erent speeds.

The higher the selected power level, the faster the cookware is heated.

In the display 7 appears the always preset power level 5 and the cooking process begins. You can now use the button "F" q to select which operating mode you want to use: The power mode (power level 5) is the default setting. If you want to change to the temperature mode, press the button "F" q re- peatedly until the control lamp Temperature Mode 9 glows. "120" appears in the display 7, indicating that there is a default temperature setting of 120°C.

Safety switch oﬀ

■ For safety reasons, the cookware identiﬁ cation automatically switches the

appliance oﬀ (in standby mode) when you ...

– remove the cookware from the cooking areas 1 2 4 for longer than

15 seconds, or do not place anything there..

– Although the energy ﬁ eld is immediately switched oﬀ with short-term

cookware removals - the selected function remains, however, active. Around every 3 seconds a signal tone issues a reminder that, in roughly 15 seconds, the appliance will switch itself oﬀ automatically. If you replace the cookware back onto the cooking areas 1 2 4 within 15 seconds, the selected function will continue on the same settings.

As soon as you take the cookware from the cooking area, "- - -" blinks in the

Timer

NOTICE

The appliance switches itself into the standby mode automatically after

You can pre-select a time period from 0 - 180 mins., after the expiry of which the respective cooking area 1 2 4 should switch itself oﬀ . If you press the button "+" 6, the time is increased by 5 minutes. If you press the button "-" 5 the time is decreased by 1 minute.

The operation of the timers of the cooking areas 1 2 4 is explained here by using the rear cooking area 1 as the example. The buttons and control lamps for the rear cooking area 1 are numbered on the fold-out page. However, the operation of all 3 cooking areas is identical with the respective operating elements e i o.

Timer in the Power Mode

1) First, start the heating in the power mode as previously described.

2) Then press the button "F" q repeatedly until the control lamp Power Mode 8 and the control lamp Timer 0 glow simultaneously.

3) Use the buttons "-" 5 and "+" 6 to set the required time, at the lapse of which the cooking area 1 should switch itself oﬀ .

The display 7 now indicates alternately the set power level and the time remaining until switch oﬀ .

After the expiration of the time, the cooking area 1 switches oﬀ automatically.

temperature setting (control lamp "Temperature Mode" 9 glows) and set a temperature, the timer setting remains active and the appliance switches only from the power mode to the temperature mode.

Child protection system

To prevent unauthorised switching on or a changing of the settings, by children for example, this appliance is ﬁ tted with a childproof lock.

■ Press and hold the button "Lock" z until a signal tone sounds and the control

lamp Child Safety u lights up. Now all of the buttons, except the buttons "Lock" z and "On / Standby" t, are blocked.

■ To release the child safety block, once again press and hold the button

"Lock" z until a signal tone is heard and the control lamp Child Safety u extinguishes. The buttons are now released.

Should the child safety block be enabled during operation, the button

► Use the child safety feature also as a wiping safety function: before you

wipe over the buttons with a damp cloth, activate the child safety feature. This helps avoid an inadvertent actuation of buttons.

► Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before you clean the

appliance.

► UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES may the appliance or parts of it be

submersed in liquids! This could result in you receiving a fatal electric shock and the appliance being damaged.

► NEVER open the appliance housing. You could receive a potentially fatal

electric shock.

► Let the appliance cool down before cleaning it. Risk of Burns!

Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners. These could damage the cooking

areas 1 2 4 of the appliance.

► Do not use abrasive, aggressive or chemical cleaning agents! They could

irreparably damage the upper surfaces!

■ Clean all outer surfaces and the power cable only with a lightly moistened

cloth.

■ In all cases, dry the appliance well before using it again.

■ Burnt-on soiling on the cooking area 1 2 4 can be removed with a scraper

suitable for glass hobs, available in most household equipment shops.

■ Should soiling be visible in the area of the ventilation slots, you can attempt

to remove this from outside with a vacuum cleaner.

Connect the appliance to a mains power socket.

In this case, contact Customer Services.

Place suitable cookware on the cooking area 1 2 4.

Use suitable cookware (see chapter "Suitable Cookware").

Check to ensure that the appliance is connected to a properly installed mains power socket supplying 220 - 240 V ~, 50 Hz.

Immediately disconnect the plug from the mains power socket and contact the Customer Services department!
