Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.
You have clearly decided in favour of a quality product. These operating instruc-
tions are a part of this product. They contain important information in regard to
safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all of
these operating and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and
only for the specified areas of application. Retain these instructions for future
reference. In addition, pass these documents on, together with the product, to
any future owner.

Intended use
This hair dryer is intended only for the drying and shaping of human hair, under
no circumstances is it to be used for wigs and hairpieces made of synthetic material.
This hair dryer is intended for domestic use only. Pay heed to all of the information
in this operating manual, especially the safety instructions. This appliance is not
designed for use in commercial or industrial applications.
This appliance is not intended for any other use or for uses beyond those mentioned herein. Claims of any kind for damage resulting from unintended use will
not be accepted. The operator alone bears liability.

1) Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the
carton.
2) Remove all packaging material.
3) Clean all parts of the appliance as described in the section “Cleaning”.

► Check the contents to make sure everything is there and for visible damage.
► If the contents are not complete or are damaged due to defective packaging
or through transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see section "Warranty
and Service").
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging
materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness
and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material
and reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that
is no longer needed according to the regionally established regulations.
NOTICE
► If possible preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty
period so that, in the event of a warranty claim, you can package the appliance ideally for its return.

Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Connect the hair dryer only to a correctly installed mains
power socket providing electrical energy at the level detailed
on the rating plate.
► Under no circumstances may the hair dryer be submerged in
fluids, or fluids be permitted to enter the appliance housing.
Do not expose the appliance to humidity and do not use it
outdoors. Should liquids enter the housing, disconnect the
appliance from the power source immediately and arrange
for it to be repaired by a qualified technician.
► Disconnect the hair dryer from the mains power socket if
defective operation is apparent and before cleaning it.
► To disconnect it, pull only on the plug itself, not on the power
cable.
► Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance and
protect the cable from being damaged.
► Should the power cable of the appliance be damaged, to
avoid potential risks it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
his customer service or by a qualified technician.
► Do not kink or crush the power cable and lay it in such a way
as to prevent people from stepping on or tripping over it.
► Do not use extension cables.
► Never touch the hair dryer, the power cable or the plug with
wet hands.
► Disconnect the hair dryer from the power source immedi-
ately after use. The appliance is completely free of electrical
power only when you unplug it.
► You are not permitted to open or repair the housing of
the hair dryer. Should you do so, appliance safety can no
longer be assured and the warranty will become void.
Arrange for the hair dryer to be serviced and repaired only
by qualified specialists.

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Never use the appliance near water, particularly not near
sinks, baths or other vessels. The proximity of water presents
a risk, even when the appliance is switched off. After use,
always disconnect the plug from the mains power socket.
As additional protection, the installation of a faulty-current
protection unit with an activation power rating of not more
than 30 mA is recommended for the power circuit in the
bathroom. Consult your electrician for advice.
WARNING! RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY!
► This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
► Children shall not play with the appliance.
► Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
► When it is switched on, NEVER lay the hair dryer down or
leave it unsupervised.
► Never place the hair dryer close to sources of heat and pro-
tect the power cable against potential damage.
► Do not take the hair dryer into use if it has fallen down or is
damaged in any way.
Arrange for the appliance to be checked and/or repaired
by qualified technicians.
► Do not cover the air intake grill while operating the appli-
ance. Clean the grill at regular intervals.
► The hair dryer becomes hot when it is in use. Hold it only by
the grip when it is hot.

Operation
Heat and blower levels
1) Insert the plug into a power socket.
2) Switch the hair dryer on with the blower level switch .
The hair dryer is fitted with two function switches. With these you can separately
select the strength of the air flow (blower level switch ) and the level of heat
(heat level switch ):

3) After use, switch the appliance off in that you place the blower level switch
into position “0”. Then remove the plug from the wall socket.
Cooling level
With the cooling level button G you can produce a cooler air flow with
every combination of blower and heat levels.
Ionisation function
With the Ionic switch-in you can additionally add the ionic function to every
combination of blower and heat level.
■ Set the ionic switch-in to the “
turned on.
■ Set the ionic switch-in to the “ “ position: The ionisation function is
turned off.
When drying the hair using a hair dryer, the hair takes on a static charge and
begins to “fly”.
The ionisation function ensures that this charging of the hair is neutralised and
cancelled. The hair becomes soft, supple, shiny and easier to style.

Please note, however, that the ionisation function will only work optimally if the
attachments (finger diffuser /styling jet ) are removed as the attachment will
interfere with the application of the ions to the hair. Therefore, use the hairdryer
without attachments for maximum ionisation effect.
Drying and styling hair
■ To quickly dry hair, we recommend first of all using a high blower and heater
setting for a short period. Also, place the Ionic switch-in at the position
“
shape the hairstyle.
■ With the supplied styling jet you can apply a directed airflow to shape
and style your hair. Fit the styling jet by pushing it with light pressure onto
the hair dryer so that it snaps into place and sits evenly on the hair dryer.
If you no longer require the styling jet , wait until the appliance has cooled
down and pull it off with a downwards snapping motion:
■ If you wish to dry your hair especially gently, or create a so-called “air-dried
wave”, then use the finger diffusor . Start by removing the styling jet
with a downwards snapping motion.
Fit the finger diffusor by pushing it with light pressure onto the hair dryer
so that it snaps into place and sits evenly on the hair dryer.If you no longer
require the finger diffusor , wait until the appliance has cooled down and
pull it off with a downwards snapping motion:

■ Before you comb your hair out, allow it to cool so that the shaping and styling
can retain its form.

Cleaning

► Always remove the mains plug from the socket before you clean the appliance.
► Under no circumstances may you immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids when cleaning it!
► After being cleaned, the hair dryer must be completely dry before using it
again.
WARNING - RISK OF PHYSICAL INJURY!
► Allow the appliance to cool sufficiently before cleaning it.
CAUTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use any aggressive cleaning liquids or solvents. They could damage
the surface.
Cleaning the housing
■ Use a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild soap solution to clean the housing
and attachments.

Cleaning the air suction grill
WARNING - RISK OF FIRE!
► Clean the air intake grill at regular intervals with a soft brush.
1) Turn the air intake grill a little way anticlockwise so that it can be removed
from the hair dryer.
2) Clean the openings of the air intake grill with a soft brush.
3) Push the air intake grille back onto the hairdryer so that the tabs on the
air intake grille click back onto the recesses on the hairdryer housing.
Turn the air intake grille clockwise a little way so that it clicks into place
and sits tightly.

Storage
CAUTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► First pack and transport the hair dryer when it has completely cooled
down. Otherwise, it could damage other items.
■ Clean the hair dryer as described in the section “Cleaning”.
■ For storage purposes, you can hang the hairdryer up by the suspension
loop .
■ Store the hair dryer at a dustfree and dry location.
Troubleshooting
Should your hair dryer not function as expected, first remove the plug from the
mains power socket and allow the appliance to cool down for a few minutes.
The appliance is fitted with an overheating protector!
Should the appliance still not function, consult the service department detailed
under “Service”.
Disposal of the device
Do not dispose of this appliance in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU.
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your com-
munity waste facility.Pay heed to the currently applicable regulations. In case of
doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.
Warranty
A 3-year warranty is given with this device, starting from the date of purchase.
The appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined
before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim,
please make contact by telephone with our service department. Only in this way
can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.

► The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects, it
is not applicable for transport damages, parts subject to wear and tear or
for damage to fragile components, e.g. switches.

This appliance is intended solely for domestic, not commercial, use. If this product
has been subjected to improper or inappropriate handling, abuse, or modifications not carried out by one of our authorised service centres, the warranty will
be considered void.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty. The warranty
period is not extended by repairs made under the warranty. This applies also to
replaced and repaired parts.
Damages and defects extant at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking, resp. no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs made after the lapse of the warranty period are subject to charge.

Time ste se odlučili za visokovrijedan proizvod. Upute za rukovanje predstav-
ljaju sastavni dio ovog proizvoda. One sadrže važne napomene za sigurnost,
uporabu i zbrinjavanje proizvoda. Prije korištenja proizvoda se upoznajte sa
svim napomenama za rukovanje i sa svim sigurnosnim napomenama. Proizvod
koristite isključivo na opisani način i u navedenim područjima primjene. Ove

Sušilo za kosu služi za sušenje i friziranje ljudske kose, nikako za perike i dijelove
kose od sintetičnog materijala. Sušilo za kosu smijete koristiti isključivo u okviru
privatnog domaćinstva. Obratite pažnju na sve obavijesti u ovim uputama za
rukovanje, pogotovo na sigurnosne napomene. Ovaj uređaj nije koncipiran za
gospodarske ili industrijske svrhe.
Svaki drugi oblik uporabe i svaka uporaba, koja prelazi navedene okvire, smatra
se nenamjenskom. Potraživanja svake vrste na temelju štete koja proizlazi iz
nenamjenske uporabe isključena su. Rizik nosi isključivo sam korisnik.

1) Izvadite sve dijelove uređaja i upute za rukovanje iz kartona.
2) Odstranite sav materijal pakiranja.

NAPOMENA
► Prekontrolirajte cjelovitost obima isporuke i provjerite, postoje li vidljiva
oštećenja.
► Kod nekompletne isporuke ili ako postoje oštećenja uzrokovana oskudnim
pakiranjem ili transportna oštećenja, obratite se dežurnoj servisnoj telefonskoj
liniji (vidi poglavlje „Jamstvo i servis“).
Zbrinjavanje pakiranja
Pakiranje štiti uređaj od transportnih oštećenja. Materijali pakiranja su izabrani
prema ekološkim kriterijima i kriterijima zbrinjavanja i stoga su prikladni za
recikliranje.
Vraćanje pakiranja u kružni tok materijala štedi sirovine i umanjuje količinu nastalog otpada. Materijal pakiranja, koji Vam više nije potreban, zbrinite u skladu sa
važećim lokalnim propisima.
NAPOMENA
► Po mogućnosti sačuvajte originalno pakiranje za vrijeme trajanja jamstvenog
roka, kako biste uređaj u slučaju korištenja prava na jamstvo mogli uredno
zapakirati.

Sigurnosne napomene
OPASNOST OD STRUJNOG UDARA
► Sušilo za kosu priključite isključivo na propisno instaliranu
mrežnu utičnicu sa mrežnim naponom, koji odgovara navodima na tipskoj ploči uređaja.
► Sušilo za kosu niukom slučaju ne smijete uroniti u tekućinu
i ne smijete dopustiti da tekućine dospiju u kućište sušila
za kosu. Uređaj ne smijete izložiti tekućini i ne smijete ga
koristiti vani. Ukoliko ipak tekućina dospije u kućište uređaja,
odmah izvucite utikač uređaja iz utičnice, te uređaj odnesite
kvalificiranom stručnom osoblju na popravak.
► U slučaju pogonskih smetnji uređaja i prije čišćenja uređaja
izvucite mrežni utikač iz mrežne utičnice.
► Mrežni utikač izvucite iz utičnice povlačenjem za utikač,
nikada ne povlačite sam kabel.
► Mrežni priključni dovodni kabel ne okomotajte oko sušila za
kosu i zaštitite ga od oštećenja.
► Ako dođe do oštećenja mrežnog priključnog kabela, isti
mora zamijeniti proizvođač, servis za kupce ili slična kvalificirana osoba, kako bi opasne situacije bile izbjegnute.
► Ne lomite i ne gnječite mrežni priključni kabel i postavite
ga tako, da nitko ne može na njega stati ili se preko njega
protepsti.
► Ne smijete koristiti produžni kabel.
► Nikada ne dotaknite sušilo za kosu, priključni vod i utikač
mokrim rukama.
► Sušilo za kosu neposredno nakon uporabe odvojite od
strujne mreže. Samo kada mrežni utikač izvadite iz mrežne
utičnice, on će biti potpuno lišen napona.
► Kućište sušila za kosu ne smijete otvarati ili popravljati.
U tom slučaju sigurnost nije garantirana i jamstvo prestaje
važiti. Defektno sušilo za kosu dajte popravljati isključivo od
strane kvalificiranog stručnog osoblja.

OPASNOST OD STRUJNOG UDARA
Uređaj nikada ne koristite u blizini vode, posebno ne u
blizini umivaonika, kade ili drugih spremnika za vodu.
Blizina vode predstavlja opasnost, čak i kada je uređaj
isključen. Zbog toga nakon svake upotrebe izvucite utikač.
Kao dodatnu zaštitu preporučujemo Vam instalaciju osiguravajućeg zaštitnog uređaja sa aktivacijskom strujom ne
većom od 30 mA u strujnom krugu kupaonice. Za savjet
se obratite svom elektroinstalateru.
UPOZORENJE! OPASNOST OD OZLJEĐIVANJA!
► Ovaj uređaj smije biti korišten od strane djece stare 8 godina
ili više i od strane osoba sa smanjenim fizičkim, senzoričkim
ili mentalnim sposobnostima ili pomanjkanjem iskustva i/ili
znanja, ukoliko ove osobe stoje pod nadzorom ili su podučene
u pogledu sigurnog rukovanja uređajem te su razumjele
opasnosti, koje proizlaze iz uporabe uređaja.
► Djeca se ne smiju igrati sa uređajem.
► Čišćenje i održavanje od strane korisnika ne smiju vršiti djeca,
osim ako imaju najmanje 8 godina i stoje pod nadzorom.
► Sušilo za kosu nikada ne odložite u uključenom stanju i uključen
uređaj nikada ne ostavite bez nadzora.
► Sušilo za kosu nikada ne ostavite u blizini izvora topline i
mrežni priključni kabel zaštitite od oštećenja.
► Ako sušilo za kosu padne ili je oštećeno, ne smijete ga više
pustiti u rad. Uređaj dajte pregledati i eventualno popraviti
od strane kvalificiranog stručnog osoblja.
► Rešetku za usisavanje zraka ne prekrijte za vrijeme rada
uređaja. Čistite je u redovnim vremenskim razmacima.
► Sušilo za kosu se za vrijeme rada zagrijava. Kad je uređaj
vruć, dotaknite ga isključivo hvatanjem za ručku.

Rukovanje
Stupnjevi zagrijavanja i ventilacije
1) Utaknite utikač u utičnicu.
2) Uključite sušilo za kosu uz pomoć prekidača stupnja ventilacije .
Sušilo za kosu je opremljeno sa dva funkcijska prekidača. Sa njima možete
jačinu zračnog mlaza (prekidač stupnja ventilacije ) i stupanj zagrijavanja
(prekidač stupnja zagrijavanja ) odvojeno izabrati:

0 Sušilo za kosu je isključeno
slab zračni mlaz
snažan zračni mlaz
Stupanj zagrijavanja
niski stupanj zagrijavanja
srednji stupanj grijanja
visok stupanj zagrijavanja
3) Nakon uporabe uređaj isključite tako, što ćete prekidač stupnja ventilacije
postaviti u položaj “0”. Nakon toga utikač izvucite iz utičnice.
Stupanj hlađenja
Sa tipkom stupnja hlađenja G možete kod svake kombinacije ventilacije
i stupnja zagrijavanja generirati hladan zračni mlaz.
Funkcija ioniziranja
Sa prekidačem za ione možete kod svake kombinacije ventilacije i stupnja
zagrijavanja dodatno uključiti funkciju ioniziranja.

Sušenje kose pomoću sušila za kosu dovodi do statičnog naboja kose, koja
počinje „letjeti“.
Funkcija ioniziranja osigurava, da statički naboj kose bude neutraliziran i nestane.
Kosa postaje meka, gipka, sjajna i možete je lakše frizirati.

Imajte na umu da funkcija ioniziranja optiomalno radi samo bez nastavaka
(difuzor prsta / koncentrator ) jer nastavci ometaju nanošenje iona na
kosu. Ako funkciju ioniziranja želite koristiti na optimalan način, sušilo za kosu
koristite bez nastavaka.
Sušenje i oblikovanje kose
■ Za brzo sušenje kose preporučujemo da prvo nakratko uključite visok stupanj

■ Sa priloženim koncentratorom zračni mlaz možete ciljano koristiti za obli-
kovanje kose. Postavite koncentrator naprijed uz lagani pritisak na sušilo
za kosu, tako da ulegne i zauzme ravnomjeran položaj na sušilu za kosu.
Kada Vam koncentrator više potreban, pričekajte da se uređaj ohladi i
pokretom preklapanja ga povlačenjem skinite prema dolje:
■ Ako Vašu kosu želite osušiti posebno pažljivo, ili kod takozvanih “„trajnih
sušenih na zraku”, koristite nastavak difuzora . U tu svrhu također prvo
koncentrator pokretom preklapanja povlačenjem skinite prema dolje.
Postavite difuzor naprijed uz lagani pritisak na sušilo za kosu, tako da
ulegne i zauzme ravnomjeran položaj na sušilu za kosu. Kada Vam difuzor
više potreban, pričekajte da se uređaj ohladi i pokretom preklapanja ga
povlačenjem skinite prema dolje:
