Rich basic functions, such as the Automatic Keystone Correction and Direct Keys are packaged within a light compact body. Simple installation and comfortable operability mean “Easy to Use.”
The VT Series has the flexibility to accommodate a wide range of presentations, conferences, or lectures.
The Direct Keys for Video, S-Video, and RGB let users switch between sources with the touch of a button and are available on the operation panel on the top of the equipment. The ports for the respective image sources, including voice input, are on the rear panel. Their positions correspond to the keys on the control panel. The attached cables come in different colours and match the corresponding port, so that the proper cable can easily be identified and connected to the proper port.
In addition to digitally correcting distorted images due to angled projection, the Automatic Vertical Keystone Correction (up to +/30degrees) functions automatically by sensing the inclination of the equipment with the builtin gravity sensor.
The Colour Correction function corrects image colours according to the image source, such as presentations or movies. The optimum colour tone for the projected images can also be selected.
The VT projectors support the whitebalance function, which provides optimum colour reproducibility by adjusting the white/black levels of input signals, and the Gamma Correction (for gradation reproducibility) feature provides sharp, clear images even in the dark sections. The adjusted values can be saved in memory on the equipment.
The convenient wireless remote is available on all NEC projectors. For the VT660, VT560, and VT460 in particular,
the latest model of NEC’s advanced Wireless Remote is capable of controlling
mouse operations on the connected PC, such as moving the cursor or clicking the left / right buttons .
The optional carrying handle is enclosed in the package and easily attached to the equipment when needed for safe, convenient transport of the projector .
