Introduction
This is the GE 2500 Series Aluminum Housing Installation Instructions for models 2505A-L, 2507A-L, 2507AD, 2507AH.
Installation
To install models 2505A-L, 2507A-L, 2507AD do the following:
1.Mount the switch and magnet so both labels read in the same direction (Figure 1). Use the screws supplied or 18/8 stainless steel screws.
Note: Switch position and gap distances will be reduced when switch and magnet are positioned incorrectly.

To install model 2507AH, do the following:
1.Mount switch in desired location.

Magnet included (part no. 1920)
2.Attach an ohmmeter to the black and white wires. The meter should read infinity with the magnet away from the switch.
3.Bring the magnet toward the switch until the meter reads zero ohms. Mark this position.
4.Bring the magnet closer to the switch until the meter reads infinity. Mark this position.
5.Position the magnet between the two marks.
6.Align the magnet and switch so the labels read in the same direction. With the magnet positioned in this manner, the switch will be harder to defeat with an external magnet.
