ELECTRICAL CONNECTION (U.K. ONLY)
A)If your appliance comes fitted with a plug, it will incorporate a 13 Amp fuse. If it does not fit your socket, the plug should be cut off from the mains lead, and an appropriate plug fitted, as below.
WARNING: Very carefully dispose of the cut off plug after removing the fuse: do not insert in a 13 Amp socket elsewhere in the house as this could cause a shock hazard.
With alternative plugs not incorporating a fuse, the circuit must be re-fitted when changing the fuse using a 13 Amp Asta approved fuse to BS 1362. In the event of losing the fuse cover, the plug must NOT be used until a replacement fuse cover can be obtained from your nearest electrical dealer. The colour of the correct replacement fuse cover is that as marked on the base of the plug.

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black. The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which si marked with the letter L or coloured red.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
-Before inserting the plug in an electrical outlet, check carefully to be certain that the voltage in your home’s electrical system matches the voltage indicated on the appliance and that the socket and main feed are of a size sufficient to power this appliance.
-THIS APPLIANCE COMPLIES WITH EEC DIRECTIVE 89/336 REGARDING ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY.
FUNCTIONING AND USE
Models with function selector and ambient thermostat
-Turn the thermostat knob (where included) in a clockwise direction until it reaches the maxi-

mum setting. |

It is always advisable to disconnect the plug when the appliance is not in use.
Models with thermostat only
The appliance is switched on by turning the knob in a clockwise direction until it reaches the maxi-
mum setting. To switch the appliance completely off turn the knob to the minimum setting |
and |
remove the plug from the electrical socket. |

REGULATING THE THERMOSTAT
When the room has reached the required temperature turn the thermostat knob in an anti-clockwi- se direction up to the point where the appliance switches off and not beyond. The temperature fixed in this way will be automatically regulated and kept at a constant level by the thermostat.

ANTIFREEZE SERVICE
Turn the functions knob to setting 2, then turn the thermostat knob to setting 
. When it is set in this way the appliance keeps the room at a temperature of approx. 5° C with minimal energy expenditure.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning always remove the plug from the electrical socket.
Clean the air inlet/outlet grilles frequently with a vacuum cleaner.
Never use abrasive powders or solvents.
WARNINGS
-Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of showers, bath tubs, wash basins, swimming pools, etc.
-Do not use the heater to dry your laundry. Never obstruct the intake and outlet grilles (danger of overheating).
-The heater must be positioned at least 50 cm from furniture or other objects.
-Do not place the appliance up against walls, furniture, curtains, etc.
-The appliance must be installed so that the controls can not be reached by persons using the bath tub or the shower.
-If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its technical support service or by a person with a similar qualification in order to avoid all risks.
-The appliance must not be positioned directly underneath a fixed power point.
-Do not block the hot-air outlet grilles or the intake grille located on the bottom of the appliance.
-Do not use the appliance in rooms less than 4 m2 in area.
Never cover this appliance in any manner whatsoever while it is operating, because by doing so you will cause a dangerous increase in the temperature of the appliance itself.
The heater is fitted with a safety device which will switch off the heater in case of accidental overheating (eg. obstruction of air intake and outlet grilles, motor turning slowly or not at all). To reset, disconnect the plug from the power for a few minutes, remove the cause of overheating then plug the appliance in again.

BRANCHEMENT ELECTRIQUE
-Avant de brancher la fiche dans la prise de courant, vérifiez attentivement que le voltage de secteur corresponde bien à la valeur en V indiquée sur l’appareil et que la prise de courant et la ligne d’alimentation soient dimensionnées pour la charge de l’appareil.
-CET APPAREIL EST CONFORME A LA DIRECTIVE 89/336/CEE CONCERNANT LA COMPATIBILITE ELECTROMAGNETIQUE.
FONCTIONNEMENT ET UTILISATION
Modèles munis de sélecteur de fonctions et thermostat d'ambiance
-Tourner complètement dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre la manette du thermostat (si prévu) jusqu'à la butée de la position maximale.
-Fonction été (ventilation uniquement): tourner la manette de fonctions sur la position 
-Chauffage à puissance réduite: tourner la manette de fonctions sur la position 1.
-Chauffage à puissance maximale: tourner la manette de fonctions sur la position 2.
-Arrêt: tourner la manette de fonctions sur la position 0.
Il est conseillé de toujours débrancher la fiche de la prise de courant lorsque l'appareil n'est pas utilisé.
Modèles munis seulement de thermostat
L’ appareil s’ allume en tournant le bouton en sens horaire jusqu’à l’ arrêt en position maximale. Pour éteindre complètement l’ appareil tourner le bouton en position minimale 
et ensuite retirer la prise de la prise de courant.
REGLAGE DU THERMOSTAT
Quand la pièce a atteint la température souhaitée, tourner lentement la manette du thermostat dans le sens inverse à celui des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à ce que l'appareil s'éteigne et pas au-delà. La température ainsi fixée sera automatiquement réglée et maintenue constante par le thermostat.
FONCTION ANTIGEL
Amener la manette de fonctions sur la position 2, tourner ensuite la manette du thermostat sur la position 
. De cette manière, l'appareil maintient la température de la pièce à environ 5°C avec une consommation minimale d'énergie.
ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE
-Avant d'effectuer tout nettoyage, débrancher toujours la fiche de la prise de courant.
-Nettoyer fréquemment les grilles d'entrée et de sortie de l'air avec un aspirateur.
-N'utiliser jamais de poudres abrasives ou de solvants.
ATTENTION
-Ne pas utiliser l’appareil tout près de douches, baignoires, éviers, piscines, etc.
-Ne pas utiliser l’appareil pour sécher le linge, ne pas obstruer les grilles d’entrée et de sortie de l’air (danger de surchauffage).
-Ne laisser aucun meuble ou autre objet à une distance de l’appareil inférieure à 50 cm.
-Ne jamais le mettre en service en faisant reposer l’appareil contre les murs, les meubles, les rideaux etc.
-L’appareil doit être installé de façon que les commandes soient à l’abri de ceux qui utilisent la baignoire ou la douche.
-Si le câble d’alimentation est détérioré, il doit être remplacé, pour éviter les risques, par le constructeur, par son service après-vente ou par une personne qualifiée.
-Cet appareil ne doit pas être placé juste au-dessous d’une prise de courant placée à poste fixe.
-N’obstruez pas les grilles de sortie de l’air chaud, ni celle d’entrée située sur le fond de l’appareil.
-Ne jamais utiliser cet appareil dans une pièce dont la surface de base est inférieure à 4 m2.
-Ne jamais couvrir l’appareil pendant son fonctionnement, cela entraînerait une dangereuse augmentation de la température de l’appareil même.
Un dispositif de sécurité interrompe le fonctionnement du thermoventilateur en cas de surchauffage accidentel (par ex. obstruction des grilles d’entrée et de sortie de l’air, le moteur qui ne tourne pas ou qui tourne lentement). Pour rétablir le fonctionnement, il est nécessaire de débrancher la fiche pendant quelques minutes, supprimer la cause du surchauffage et réinsérer la fiche dans la prise de courant.

ELEKTRISCHER ANSCHLUSS

-DIESES GERÄT ENTSPRICHT DER EU-VORSCHRIFT 89/336 IN BEZUG AUF DIE ELEKTROMAGNETISCHE KOMPABILITÄT.
BETRIEB UND GEBRAUCH
Modelle mit Funktionswahlschalter und Raumthermostat
-Drehen Sie den Raumthermostat (sofern vorgesehen) bis zum Anschlag in die Maximalstellung
-Sommerbetrieb (nur Ventilation): Stellen Sie den Funktionswahlschalter in Position 
.
-Heizung auf niedrigster Leistungsstufe: Stellen Sie den Funktionswahlschalter in Position 1
-Heizung auf höchster Leistungsstufe: Stellen Sie den Funktionswahlschalter in Position 2.
-Abschalten: Stellen Sie den Funktionswahlschalter in Position 0.
Wir empfehlen, stets den Netzstecker zu ziehen, wenn das Gerät nicht in Betrieb ist.
Nur mit Thermostat ausgerüstete Modelle
Das Gerät schaltet ein, wenn der Drehknopf im Uhrzeigersinn bis zum Anschlag auf die Maximalstellung gedreht wird. Um das Gerät vollständig auszuschalten, den Drehknopf auf die Minimalstellung drehen und danach den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.
THERMSOTATREGULIERUNG
Wenn im Raum die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht wurde, den Thermostat-Drehschalter entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn drehen, bis das Gerät abschaltet und dann nicht weiterdrehen. Die so festgelegte Temperatur wird vom Thermostat automatisch reguliert und konstant beibehalten.
GEFRIERSCHUTZ
Drehen Sie den Funktionswahlschalter in Position 2, drehen Sie danach den Thermostat-Drehschalter in Position 
. Bei dieser Einstellung hält das Gerät bei niedrigstem Energieverbrauch eine Temperatur von etwa 5°C im Raum aufrecht .
WARTUNG UND PFLEGE
-Vor Beginn einer jeden Reinigungsarbeit stets den Netzstecker ziehen.
-Reinigen Sie regelmäßig die Lufteinlaßund -austrittsgitter.
-Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine Scheuerpulver bzw. Lösungsmittel.
ZUR BEACHTUNG
-Das Gerät nicht in feuchten Räumen oder in der Nähe von Duschen, Badewannen, Waschbecken, Schwimmbecken usw. aufstellen.
-Das Gerät nicht für das Trocknen von Wäsche benutzen, (Überhitzungsgefahr).
-Das Gerät soll von Möbeln und anderen brennbaren Gegenständen einen Abstand von 50 cm haben.
-Das Gerät , darf nicht hinter Wänden, Möbeln, Gardinen usw. in Betrieb gesetzt werden.
-Das Gerät muß so installiert werden, daß Schalter und andere Schaltelemente nicht von der Badewanne oder Dusche aus erreichbar sind.
-Sollte das Stromkabel Schäden aufweisen, so muss dieses unverzüglich vom Hersteller, oder von dessen Kundendienst, bzw. von einer fachlich kompetenten Person ausgewechselt werden, um jede Art von Risiko zu vermeiden.
-Das Gerät darf nicht unmittelbar unter einer ortsfesten Steckdose aufgestellt werden.
-Sowohl die Luftaustrittsgitter als auch das Lufteingangsgitter am Boden des Gerätes nicht bedecken.
-Das Gerät nicht in Räumen mit einer Bodenfläche unter 4 m2 verwenden.
-Das Gerät darf während des Betriebs in keinem Fall abgedeckt werden, da dies eine gefährliche Temperaturerhöhung zur Folge hätte.
Eine Sicherheitseinrichtung unterbricht den Betrieb des Heizlüfters bei Überhitzung (z.B. Abdeckung der Lufteintrittsund Luftaustrittsöffnung, Motor arbeitet nicht oder nur langsam). Für die Wiederherstellung des Gerätebetriebes sind der Netzstecker zu ziehen und einige Minuten abzuwarten. Die Störungsursache beseitigen und den Netzstecker wieder anschließen.

ALLACCIAMENTO ELETTRICO
-Prima di inserire la spina nella presa di corrente verificare attentamente che il voltaggio della Vostra rete domestica corrisponda al valore in Volts indicato sull’apparecchio e che la presa di corrente e la linea di alimentazione siano dimensionate al carico richiesto.
-QUESTO APPARECCHIO È CONFORME ALLA DIRETTIVA 89/336/CEE E AL D.M. 476/92 SULLA COMPATIBILITÀ ELETTROMAGNETICA.
FUNZIONAMENTO ED USO
Modelli con selettore di funzioni e termostato ambiente a
-Ruotare in senso orario la manopola termostato (se previsto) fino all’arresto in posizione di massimo.
-Servizio estivo (solo ventilazione): : ruotare la manopola commutatore in posizione 
.
-Riscaldamento a potenza ridotta: : ruotare la manopola commutatore sulla posizione 1.
-Riscaldamento a potenza massima:: ruotare la manopola commutatore sulla posizione 2.
-Spegnimento: ruotare la manopola commutatore sulla posizione 0.
Si consiglia di staccare sempre la spina quando l’apparecchio non viene utilizzato.
Modelli con solo termostato
L’apparecchio si accende ruotando la manopola termostato in senso orario fino all’arresto in posizione massima. Per spegnere completamente l’apparecchio ruotare la manopola termostato in posizione minimo 
quindi staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente.
REGOLAZIONE DEL TERMOSTATO
Quando l’ambiente ha raggiunto la temperatura desiderata, ruotare lentamente la manopola termostato in senso antiorario fino allo spegnimento dell’apparecchio e non oltre. La temperatura così fissata verrà automaticamente regolata e mantenuta costante dal termostato.
SERVIZIO ANTIGELO
Portare la manopola commutatore in posizione 2, quindi portare la manopola termostato in posizione 
. Così impostato l’apparecchio mantiene l’ambiente ad una temperatura di circa 5° C con un minimo dispendio di energia.
MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA
-Prima di qualsiasi pulizia togliere sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente.
-Pulire frequentemente le griglie di entrata ed uscita dell’aria, rimuovendo eventuali concentrazioni di sporcizia servendosi di un aspirapolvere.
-Non usare mai polveri abrasive o solventi.
AVVERTENZE
-Non utilizzare l’apparecchio nelle immediate vicinanze di docce, vasche da bagno, lavandini, piscine ecc.
-Non usare l’apparecchio per asciugare la biancheria, non ostruire le griglie di entrata ed uscita dell’aria (pericolo di surriscaldamento).
-Per una distanza di 50 cm davanti all’apparecchio non devono esserci mobili od altri oggetti.
-Non far funzionare l’apparecchio a ridosso di pareti, mobili, tende ecc.
-L’apparecchio deve essere installato in modo che i comandi non siano raggiungibili da chi sta utilizzando la vasca da bagno o la doccia.
-Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, esso deve essere sostituito dal costruttore o dal suo servizio assistenza o comunque da una persona con qualifica similare, in modo da prevenire ogni rischio.
-L’apparecchio non deve essere posto immediatamente sotto una presa di corrente fissa.
-Non ostruire le griglie d’uscita dell’aria calda, né quella di entrata, che si trova sul fondo del- l’apparecchio.
-Non usare questo apparecchio in una stanza la cui area di base è inferiore a 4 m2.
Non coprire in nessun caso l’apparecchio durante il funzionamento, poiché ciò provocherebbe un pericoloso aumento di temperatura dello stesso.
Un dispositivo di sicurezza interrompe il funzionamento del termoventilatore in caso di surriscaldamento accidentale (es. ostruzione delle griglie di entrata ed uscita dell’aria, motore che non gira o gira lento). Per ripristinare il funzionamento, è necessario staccare la spina dalla presa per alcuni minuti, eliminare la causa del surriscaldamento, quindi reinserire la spina.
