*Appuyer sur Ia courroie 0 avec le pouce et ajuster Ia tension de Ia courroie en tournant l'ecrouf) de sorte que Ia fleche soit de 13-16 mm.

Manera de colocar Ia correa

* El sentido de funcionamiento correcto de Ia maquina es hacia Ia izquierda si se mira desde el lado de Ia polea.

*Habra que apretar Ia correa 0 con el pulgar y regular Ia tension de Ia misma hacienda girar Ia tuerca 8 de manera tal que Ia correa ceda hacia adentro de unos 13-16 mm.

(For -700)

(For -900)

Ground wire connections

*Connect the ground wire (in the plastic bag) to the sewing machine head and motor if a motor other than MD-802 or MD-812 is used.

1.Secure the ground wire 0 to the sewing machine head with screw f) and washer e.

2.Pass the ground wire 0 through the hole in the table.

3.Remove the screw on the front of the motor and connect the ground wire to the motor.

AnschluB des Erdungskabels

*Das Erdungskabel im Plastikbeutel am Maschinenoberteil und am Motor anbringen, wenn ein anderer Motor als MD-802 oder der MD-812 verwen-

det wird.

1.Das Erdungskabel 0 mit der Schraube f) und der Unterlegscheibe 0 am Maschinenoberteil befestigen.

2.Das Erdungskabel 0 durch das Loch im Tisch ziehen.

3.Die Schraube an der Motorvorderseite losen und das Erdungskabel mit dieser Schraube am Motor befestigen.

Raccord du cabel de mise a Ia terre

* Si on utilise un moteur autre que les modeles MD-802 ou MD-812, brancher le cable de mise a Ia terre (cable se trouvant

	dans le sac en plastique) a Ia tete de Ia machine a coudre et au moteur.					vis f) et Ia rondelle 0.
1.	Fixer le cable de mise a Ia terre 0	a Ia tete de	Ia machine a coudre avec Ia
2.	Placer le cable de mise a Ia terre 0	a travers le	trou de	Ia	table.	a Ia terre au moteur.
3.	Retirer Ia vis se trouvant a l'avantdu moteur et		brancher	le	cable de Ia mise

Conexion del cable a tierra

*Conectar el cable de conexi6n a tierra (en una bolsa de plastico) a Ia cabeza de Ia maquina de coser y motor, si se utiliza un motor que no sea MD-802 o MD-812.

1.	Asegurar el cable	de conexi6n a tierra 0		en Ia cabeza de Ia maquina de coser con el tornillo 8	y Ia arandela 0.
2.	Pasar el cable de	conexi6n a tierra 0	a traves del orificio en Ia mesa.
3.	Ouitar el tornillo	en Ia parte delantera	del	motor y conectar el cable de conexi6n a tierra en el	motor.

								Connection of air tube (-700)
								1. Connect the air hose from the compressor to
								the valve box connector 0.
								2. Connect the air tube f) from the valve box to
								the connector e of the reverse cylinder.
								* Push the air tube into the sleeve e until its end
								projects about 3- 5 mm out from the sleeve e.
								connect the tube end to the male connector,
								tighten the nut 0	manually, and then with a
								wrench one or two turns more.
				(For -700)	3 - 5 mm
AnschluB des Luftschlauchs (-700)
1.			Den	PreBiuftschlauch	an den Kompressor und an die Ventilsteuerungsbox-Kopplung 0				anschlieBen.
2.			Den	Luftschlauch f)	der Ventilsteuerungsbox an die Kopplung 0 des Umkehrzylinders anschlieBen.

*Den Luftschlauch so weit in die Muffe e schieben, daB das Schlauchende 3 - 5 mm vorsteht. Dann das Schlauchende auf die steckkopplung stecken, die Mutter 0 mit der Hand festschrauben und sie danach mit einem Schraubenschlussel anziehen.

Branchement du tuyau flexible d'air(-700)

1. Brancher le tuyau flexible d'airprovenant du compresseur au connecteur du boitier a clapets 0.

2.Brancher le tuyau flexible d'airf) provenant du boitier de clapets au connecteur 0 du cylindre de renversement de marche.

*Pousser le tuyau flexible d'airdans le manchon 0 jusqu'ace qu'ilsorte d'environ3 a 5 mm du manchon e. Brancher l'extremitedu tuyau dans le connecteur male, serrer l'ecrou0 a Ia main puis a l'aided'unecle serrer d'untour ou de deux tours de plus.

Conexion del tubo de aire (-700)

1. Conectar	el	conducto de aire que viene del compresor al correspondiente conector 0	de Ia caja de las valvulas.
2. Conectar	el	tubo de aire f) proveniente de Ia caja de las valvulas al conector 0 del	cilindro de marcha atras.

*Meter el tubo de aire en el manguito e hasta que Ia punta del mismo salga unos 3 a 5 mm. del manguito e, conectar Ia punta del tuba en el conector macho, apretar el tornillo 0 con las manes y, luego, darle una o dos vueltas mas con una IIave.

		Ill Adjustment of the Air Pressure (-700)
less pressure	More pressure	Air pressure is 5 - 5.5 kg/cm2 during operation.
		1. If air pressure is low:
		Loosen the screw 0, and then turn the handle G to the right.
		2. If air pressure is high:
		Loosen the screw 0, turn the handle G to the left, operate the actuator
		or the treadle to lower the air pressure, and then increase the air
		pressure again.
		3. If water accumulates in the bottle 0, stop the compressor, raise the
		drain cock 0, and then drain the water.

Ill Einstellen des Luftdrucks (-700)

Wahrend des Betriebs soli der Luftdruck 4,9 - 5,4 bar (5 - 5,5 kg/cm2) betragen.

1.Falls der Luftdruck zu gering ist:

Die Schraube 0 losen und dann den Drehknopf G nach rechts drehen.

2.Falls der Luftdruck zu groB ist:

Die Schraube 0 losen, den Drehknopf G nach links drehen und den Schalter oder das Pedal betatigen, urn den Luftdruck zu verringern; dann den Luftdruck wieder vergroBern.

3.Wenn sich Wasser im Kolbern 0 ansammelt, den Kompressor abschalten, das AblaBventil 0 offnen und das Wasser abflieBen lassen.

Ill Reglage de Ia pression d'air(-700)

La pression d'airde foncionnement est de 5 a 5,5 kg/cm2•

1.Si Ia pression d'airest basse:

Desserrer Ia vis 0, puis tourner le buton G vers al droite.

2.Si Ia pression d'airest elevee:

Desserrer Ia vis 0, et tourner le bouton G vers Ia gauche, actionner Ia commande ou Ia pedale afin de baisser Ia pression d'air,puis augmenter a nouveau Ia pression d'air.

3.Side l'eaus'estaccumulee dans Ia bouteille 0, arreter le compresseur, soulever le robinet de purge 0, et laisser s'ecoulerl'eau.

Ill Reglaje de Ia presion del aire (-700)

La presion de aire adecuada es de 5 a 5,5 kg/cm2 durante el funcionamiento.

1.De ser baja Ia presion del aire:

Aflojar el tornillo 0 girando despues Ia manija G hacia Ia derecha.

2.De ser demasiado alta Ia presion del aire:

Aflojar el tornillo 0, girar Ia palanca G hacia Ia izquierda hacienda funcionar Ia palanca impulsora o el pedal para reducir Ia presion del aire volviendo luego a aumentarla otra vez.

3.De acumular~e agua en Ia botella 0, habra que parar el compresor, levantar Ia llave de purga 0 y dejar salir, despues el agua.

Upper threading I Obere Fadenfi.ihrung I Enfilage superieur I Enhebrado superior

*Adjust the adjustment nut 0 by turning it so that the length of the upper thread after thread trimming is about 35- 40 mm.

*Die Einstellmutter 0 so drehen, daB die Oberfadenlange nach dem Abschneiden ungefahr 35 - 40 mm betragt.

*Regier l'ecroude reglage 0 en le tournant de sorte que Ia longueur du fil superieur soit environ de 35 a40 mm apres le coupe-fil.

*Regular el tornillo de ajuste 0 haciendolo girar de manera que el largo del hila superior despues de cortar le hila oscile entre 35 y 40 mm.

Quick reverse unit

* The machine will run in reverse when and as long as the actuator 0 is depressed.

*Correction stitching will be done only if the actuator 0 is pressed while the machine is stopped and the correction stitch sewing switch e is set to on.

Schnellumkehrvorrichtung

*Die Maschine naht solange in Ruckwartsrichtung, wie die Taste 0 gedruck wird.

*Ein Korrekturstich wird nur ausgefUhrt, wenn die Taste 0 bei stillstehender Maschine dedruckt wird und der Korrekturstichschalter 8 eingeschaltet ist.

Unite de marche arriere rapide

* Tant que l'actuateur0 est maintenu en position enfoncee, Ia machine fonctionne en marche arriere.

*La couture de correction n'estpossible que si l'actuateur0 est enfonce alors que Ia machine est a l'arret,avec l'interrupteurde correction e en position de marche.

Dispositivo de marcha atras rapida

* La maquina funcionara en marcha atras siempre y cuando se oprima el accionador 0.

*La puntadas de correcci6n se realizaran solo si se oprime el accionador 0 mientras se para Ia maquina y se conecta el interrupter para costura de puntadas de correcci6n.

Thread wiper (-400,-700,-900)

* The thread wiper 8 will function after the thread is trimmed if the thread wiper switch 0 is turned on.

* Loosen the screw 8 and lower the thread wiper 0 to the extent that the tip of the thread wiper 0 will not touch the presser foot when the presser foot is raised.

Fadenwischer (-400,-700,-900)

* Bei eingeschaltetem Fadenwischerschalter 0 wird der Fadenwischer 8 nach dem Abschneiden des Fadens betatigt.

* Die Schraube 8 losen und den Fadenwischer 0 so weit herunterdrucken, daB die Spitze des Fadenwischers 0 den hochgezogenen NahfuB nicht beruhrt.

Tire-fils (-400,-700,-900)

* le tire-fils fonctionne une fois que le fila ete coupe par le coupe-fils, acondition que l'interrupteurde tire-fils 0 soit en position de marche.

*Desserrer Ia vis 8 et baisser le tire fils 0 dans Ia mesure ou Ia pointe du tire-fils 0 ne touchera pas le pied presseur lorsque celui-ci est leve.

Limpia-hilos (-400,-700,-900)

* El limpia-hllos funcionara luego de cortarse el hilo, si se ha conectado el interrupter del limpia-hflos 0.

* Aflojar el tornillo 8 y bajar ellimpiahllos 0 hasta que Ia punta del mismo 0 no toque el prensatelas cuando este se encuentra levantado.

Treadle operation (-900)

* Connect the presser foot lifter 1-pin connector 0 to stop the presser foot in the raised position when the treadle is at

	neutral.
1. Press the treadle to position A to lower the presser foot.
2.	Press the treadle to position B to sew at low speed. Sewing speed increases as the treadle is pressed from B to C.
3.	The presser foot will rise when the treadle is returned to neutral. Make sure the needle has stopped below the needle plate.
	(Needle down position stop)
4.	The presser foot will descend, the thread trimmer, and the presser foot will rise when the treadle is pressed to E.

*Disconnect the presser foot lifter 1-pin connector 0 to stop the presser foot in the down position when the treadle is at neutral.

1.Press the treadle to position B to sew at low speed.

2. Sewing speed increases as the treadle is pressed from B to C.

3.The presser foot will remain down when the treadle is returned to neutral. Make sure the needle has stopped below the needle plate. (Needle down position stop)

4.Return and hold the treadle at D; the presser foot will rise.

	Release the treadle at D; it will return to neutral and the presser foot will descend.
5.	Thread trimmer will be performed when the treadle is pressed to E.
*	The presser foot may rise slightly if the treadle is pressed slowly from neutral to E.

Pedalbedienung (-900)

*Den einpoligen StoffdruckerfuBstecker 0 anschlieBen, so daB der StoffdruckerfuB in der Pedalneutralstellung angehoben ist.

1.Das Pedal bis in die Stellung A drucken, urn den StoffdruckerfuB abzusenken.

2.Das Pedal in die Stellung B drucken, so daB die Maschine Iangsam zu nahen beginnt. Beim weiteren Drucken des Pedals von B nach C nimmt die Nahgeschwindigkeit zu.

3.Beim Zuruckstellen des Pedals in die Neutralstellung wird der StoffdruckerfuB angehoben und die Maschine muB mit tiefgestellter Nadel (unterhalb der Stichplatte) anhalten.

4.Beim Drucken des Pedals in die Stellung E wird der StoffdruckerfuB zum Abschneiden des Fadens abgesenkt und danach

wieder angehoben.

* Den einpoligen StoffdruckerfuBstecker 0 losen, so daB der StoffdruckerfuB in der Pedalneutralstellung abgesenkt ist. 1. Das Pedal in die Stellung B drucken, so daB die Maschine Iangsam zu nahen beginnt.

2.Beim weiteren Drucken des Pedals von B nach C nimmt die Nahgeschwindigkeit zu.

3.Beim Zuruckstellen des Pedals in die Neutralstellung bleibt der StoffdruckerfuB abgesenkt und die Maschine muB mit tiefgestellter Nadel (unterhalb der Stichplatte) anhalten.

4.Das Pe9al in die Stellung D zuruckdrucken, um den StoffdruckerfuB anzuheben. Beim Loslassen muB sich das Pedal in die Neutralstellung bewegen und der StoffdruckerfuB muB sich absenken.

5. Wenn das Pedal weiter bis in die Stellung E gedruckt wird, wird der Faden abgeschnitten.

*Falls das Pedal Iangsam von der Neutralstellung in die Stellung E gedruckt wird, kann der StoffdruckerfuB etwas angehoben werden.
