Application
The Scotchlok™ E-9BM Crimping Tool, with adjustable jaw inserts, crimps Scotchlok™ discrete type connectors and is a maintenance tool for modular splicing.
Selection and Installation of Jaw Inserts
1.Select the jaw insert combination to be used. See Table 1.
2.Remove the jaw inserts from the jaw using a screwdriver. See Figure 1.
3.Install the jaw inserts in the positions selected by pushing the tool firmly against a hard surface until they snap into position.
