HOW TO OPERATE THE

REFRIGERATOR COMPARTMENT

This appliance is a refrigerator with

a star freezer compartment.

Defrosting of the refrigerator compartment is completely automatic.

Optimal performance is obtained at temperatures between +16°C and +32°C.

Switching on the appliance

Depending on the model, the appliance has external (A1-A2) or internal (B) controls.

For appliances having external controls (A1A2): press the startup button (1).

The interior light switches on when the door is opened.

Green LED (2) switches on, indicating operation of the appliance.

In models having internal controls (B), when the appliance is connected, the interior light switches on when the door is opened if the thermostat knob is not set on symbol z.

Important:

There is no need to adjust the thermostat knob (5) as it has already been factory set to ensure the correct storage temperature of fresh food at ambient temperatures between +20°C and +25°C.

After being switched on, the appliance needs approx. 30 minutes to reach the correct temperature to store a typical volume of food in the refrigerator compartment.

Adjusting the temperature:

Turn the thermostat knob (5) setting:

to lower numbers 1-2 if you require HIGHER TEMPERATURES in the compartments;

to the highest number - 5 - for LOWER TEMPERATURES.

To switch off the refrigerator compartment:

Press the ON/OFF button (A1) (if present; alternatively, disconnect the plug from the socket).

Store liquids in closed containers.

Storing vegetables with high water content can cause condensate formation in the crisper: this will not affect the appliance's efficiency.
