Please also observe the information provided under “Positioning the door insulation [ → 30]”.
WARNING
Risk of burns due to objects falling out
As there is a serious risk of burns in this case, it is essential to install a fire-proof table and floor covering. I. For safety reasons, the furnace must be operated when standing. This is the only way that the user can quickly avoid any parts that fall out. II. You are advised to wear heat-proof protective clothing when carrying out super speed sintering. In accordance with professional association regulations, the operator of the site is responsible for providing the user with appropriate protective clothing. III. The operator of the site is responsible for providing the user with appropriate safety instructions. IV. If a fracture occurs during the sintering process as a result of a failure to follow the recommended drying procedure, there is a risk that hot objects will fall out as soon as the furnace door is opened. V. The furnace should only be loaded and unloaded using the tweezers. For safety reasons, a trained user must be present when the furnace is being loaded or unloaded.
WARNING
Risk of burns due to hot surfaces
The unit may develop hot surfaces in some areas after extended use. Use the necessary caution around the unit, especially when the furnace is operated for extended periods.
➢ Never touch the hot surfaces.
CAUTION
Handling and disposing of the insulating material
Abrasion of insulating material in the furnace door area may occur, which is visible as white dust. These deposits should:
- be wiped off with a moist cloth or
- be extracted with a vacuum cleaner with a fine particle filter (e.g. HEPA / Dust category H),
- not be blown away with compressed air,
- not be blown away by the wind.
Direct skin contact may lead to skin irritation. Please therefore avoid contact with the skin and eyes and wear gloves and safety goggles as necessary. In the event of contact with the skin wash the dust of the insulating material off with clear running water.
Always dispose of the insulating material in a closed container (see also "Disposal [ → 52]").
