Dieses Gerät ist ausschließlich für das gelegentliche Einschweißen und Vakuumieren von Lebensmitteln in haushaltsüblichen Mengen und nur im privaten Hausgebrauch vorgesehen. Dieses Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen oder industriellen Einsatz und nicht für den Dauereinsatz bestimmt.

Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt allein der Benutzer.

Verwendete Warnhinweise

In der vorliegenden Bedienungsanleitung werden folgende Warnhinweise verwendet:

Sicherheit

In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Sicherheitshinweise im Umgang mit dem Gerät. Dieses Gerät entspricht den vorgeschriebenen Sicherheitsbestimmungen. Ein unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann zu Personen- und Sachschäden führen.

Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise

Beachten Sie für einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise:

■ Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung auf äußere sichtbare

Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes Gerät nicht in Betrieb. Es besteht Stromschlaggefahr.

■ Lassen Sie Reparaturen am Gerät nur von autorisierten Fachbetrieben oder

dem Kundenservice durchführen. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können Verletzungsgefahren für den Benutzer entstehen oder das Gerät wird beschädigt. Zudem erlischt der Garantieanspruch.

■ Bei Beschädigung des Netzkabels lassen Sie dieses von autorisiertem Fachper-

sonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden. Ansonsten besteht Stromschlaggefahr!

■ Benutzen Sie das Gerät niemals mit einem fehlerhaftem Netzkabel. Es besteht

Stromschlaggefahr.

■ Benutzen Sie keine Verlängerungskabel oder Steckdosenleisten, die nicht den

erforderlichen Sicherheitsbestimmungen entsprechen. Stromschlaggefahr!

■ Die Steckdose muss leicht zugänglich sein, so dass das Netzkabel im notfalls

leicht abgezogen werden kann.

■ Das Gerät ist nicht für den Dauerbetrieb geeignet. Lassen Sie das Gerät nach

jedem Vakuumiervorgang min. 80 Sekunden abkühlen. Ansonsten kann das Gerät irreparabel beschädigt werden!

■ Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein separates Fernwirksystem,

um das Gerät zu betreiben.

■ Lassen Sie das Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt, wenn es betriebsbereit ist.

Ziehen Sie nach Gebrauch oder bei Arbeitsunterbrechungen stets den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, um versehentliches Einschalten zu vermeiden.

■ Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (einschließlich Kinder)

mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung und/oder mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn, sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist.

■ Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem

Gerät spielen.

■ Öﬀ nen Sie niemals das Gehäuse des Gerätes! Es besteht Lebensgefahr auf-

grund eines elektrischen Schlages!

Aufstellen und Anschließen

Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion

Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

▯ Folienschweißgerät SFS 150 B3 ▯ 1 x Schlauchfolie aus PE-HD (Polyethylen hoher Dichte) ▯ Diese Bedienungsanleitung

HINWEIS

Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.

► ► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter

Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline (siehe Kapitel Service).

Auspacken

♦ Entnehmen Sie das Gerät, die Schlauchfolie und die Bedienungsanleitung

aus dem Karton.

♦ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.

GEFAHR

► Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht zum Spielen von Kindern verwendet

werden. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoﬀ e und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

HINWEIS

Heben Sie wenn möglich die Originalverpackung während der Garantiezeit

des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß verpacken zu können.

Anforderungen an den Aufstellort

Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes muss der Aufstellort folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllen:

■ Bei Aufstellung des Gerätes das Gerät auf eine feste, ﬂ ache und

waagerechte Unterlage stellen.

■ Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in einer heißen, nassen oder sehr feuchten

Umgebung oder in der Nähe von brennbarem Material.

■ Die Steckdose muss leicht zugänglich sein, so dass das Netzkabel notfalls

leicht abgezogen werden kann.

Elektrischer Anschluss

ACHTUNG

Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die Anschlussdaten

►

(Spannung und Frequenz) auf dem Typenschild mit denen Ihres Elektronetzes. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine Schäden am Gerät auftreten.

► Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Netzkabel des Gerätes unbeschädigt ist

und nicht über heiße Flächen und/oder scharfe Kanten verlegt wird.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel nicht straﬀ gespannt oder geknickt

wird.

► Lassen Sie das Netzkabel nicht über Ecken hängen (Stolperdrahteﬀ ekt).

♦ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Netzsteckdose.

Bedienung und Betrieb

In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung und zum Betrieb des Gerätes.

Schlauchfolie einlegen

♦ Öﬀ nen Sie das Rollenablagefach und legen Sie eine Rolle Schlauchfolie ein. ♦ Klappen Sie die Führungsschiene der Schneidvorrichtung nach hinten

auf und ziehen Sie ein Stück Schlauchfolie zwischen der Führungsschiene und dem Gerätedeckel hindurch.

♦ Schließen Sie das Rollenablagefach und klappen die Führungsschiene

der Schneidvorrichtung wieder herunter.

Schlauchfolie verschweißen

ACHTUNG

Benutzen Sie zum Verschweißen nur Folie aus PEHD (Polyethylen high

►

density (hohe Dichte)) oder PE-LD (Polyethylen low density (niedrige Dichte)).

► Die Folienstärke muss 30 - 50 μ (0,03 - 0,05 mm) betragen. Ansonsten

wird die Schweißnaht nicht dicht und das Gerät kann beschädigt werden. Sie erkennen Folien dieser Art an den Angaben auf der Verpackung. Je nach Art und Stärke der Folie variiert die Qualität der Schweißnaht.

► Erhitzen Sie die mitgelieferte Folie nicht, z.B. im Wasserbad o.ä.. Sie ist nur

für Temperaturen bis max. 60°C ausgelegt.

♦ Ziehen Sie die gewünschte Länge der Folie unter der Führungsschiene

der Schneidvorrichtung hervor.

♦ Drücken Sie die Schneidvorrichtung herunter und fahren Sie nach links

oder rechts über die Beutelbreite. Sie erhalten einen sauberen Schnitt mit gerade geschnittenen Ecken.

♦ Öﬀ nen Sie den Gerätedeckel, indem Sie die Deckelentriegelungen nach

oben drücken.

♦ Legen Sie eine Beutelöﬀ nung auf den Schweißdraht . Damit der Beutel

ﬁ xiert ist und nicht verrutscht, legen Sie das Ende des Beutels unter den Absaugstutzen bis zu den mit „Seal“ gekennzeichneten Markierungen im Gerät ragen.

HINWEIS

►

Die Beutelöﬀ nung muss glatt auf dem Schweißdraht liegen. Ansonsten funktioniert das Verschweißen nicht richtig.

♦ Schließen Sie den Gerätedeckel und drücken Sie mit beiden Händen die

. Diesen können Sie dafür leicht anheben. Der Beutel muss

ACHTUNG

Wenn die Indikationsleuchte nach spätestens 10 Sekunden nicht erlischt, liegt ein Defekt des Gerätes vor!

► Ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose. Versuchen Sie

nicht, das Gerät selber zu reparieren. Wenden Sie sich an den Kundendienst.

♦ Öﬀ nen Sie den Gerätedeckel und entnehmen Sie den Beutel. Dieser ist nun

an einem Ende verschweißt.

HINWEIS

Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Schweißnaht ordnungsgemäß ist. Eine korrekte

►

Schweißnaht soll ein glatter, gerader Streifen ohne Falten sein.

♦ Befü llen Sie den Beutel. Sie müssen mindestens 6 cm Beutel bis zur

verschweißenden Kante frei lassen.

ACHTUNG

Befüllen Sie den Beutel so, dass auf keinen Fall Lebensmittelreste oder

Flüssigkeiten beim Verschweißen herauslaufen und in das Gerät gelangen können.

♦ Wenn Sie den Beutel nicht vakuumieren wollen, verschweißen Sie nun die

andere oﬀ ene Seite.

Schlauchfolie vakuumieren

Sie können beim Verschweißen auch die Luft aus dem Beutel saugen (vakuumieren):

ACHTUNG

Vakuumieren Sie keine Beutel, in denen sich Flüssigkeiten beﬁ nden. Diese

►

gelangen dann in das Gerät und beschädigen dieses.

♦ Stülpen Sie das oﬀ ene Ende des Beutels rund um den Absaugstutzen .

Diesen können Sie dafür leicht anheben. Der Beutel muss dabei bis zu den mit „Vacuum“ gekennzeichneten Markierungen im Gerät ragen.

HINWEIS

Die Beutelöﬀ nung muss glatt auf dem Absaugstutzen und dem Schweiß-

draht

liegen. Ansonsten funktioniert das Vakuumieren und Verschweißen

nicht richtig.

♦ Schließen Sie den Gerätedeckel und drücken Sie ihn an beiden Seiten mit

beiden Händen kräftig herunter. Drücken Sie dabei nicht auf die Versiege- lungstaste . Die Luft wird nun aus dem Beutel gesaugt.

♦ Sobald die Luft aus dem Beutel gesaugt wurde, drücken und halten Sie mit

beiden Händen die Versiegelungstaste , wie zuvor beschrieben, um den Beutel zu verschweißen. Das Vakuumieren stoppt nicht automatisch, sobald die Luft abgesaugt wurde!

Reinigung

GEFAHR

Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Strom!

► Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie mit der Reinigung

beginnen.

► Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät

eindringt.

ACHTUNG

Mögliche Beschädigung des Gerätes.

► Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel, da

diese die Gehäuseoberﬂ äche angreifen können.

► Verwenden Sie keine harten oder scharfen Gegenstände, um die

Klebereste vom Schweißdraht zu entfernen. Andernfalls können der Schweißdraht oder die Isolierung beschädigt werden.

Gerät reinigen

♦ Reinigen Sie die Gehäuseberﬂ äche mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch und einem

milden Spülmittel.

♦ Entfernen Sie Klebereste vom Schweißdraht vorsichtig mit dem

Fingernagel.

Auﬀ angbehälter reinigen

Wenn beim Vakuumieren versehentlich Lebensmittelreste angesaugt werden, schützt der Auﬀ angbehälter Auﬀ angbehälter

♦ Öﬀ nen Sie den Gerätedeckel und stellen Sie den Absaugstutzen auf. ♦ Ziehen Sie den Auﬀ angbehälter an den seitlichen Griﬀ en vorsichtig aus

dem Gerät heraus.

♦ Reinigen Sie ihn in lauwarmem Spülwasser und lassen Sie ihn anschließend

gut trocknen.

♦ Setzen Sie den Auﬀ angbehälter wieder ein und klappen Sie den

Absaugstutzen herunter.

Aufbewahrung

Das Gerät hat eine integrierte Kabelaufwicklung an der Gehäuseunterseite, auf die Sie das Netzkabel bei Nichtgebrauch aufwickeln können. Dadurch vermeiden Sie, dass das Netzkabel eingeklemmt, verschmutzt oder durch das lose Herabhängen zur Gefahrenquelle wird.

♦ Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem sauberen, trockenen Ort ohne direkte

Sonneneinstrahlung.

Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.

Utilisation conforme

Cet appareil est prévu pour le soudage et la mise sous vide occasionnelle de denrées alimentaires en quantité domestique habituelle et uniquement dans le cadre d'un usage privé. Ce produit n'est pas prévu pour l'usage commercial ou industriel et pas pour l'utilisation en continu.

Tout usage divergent ou toute utilisation allant au-delà seront considérés comme non conformes. Les prétentions de toutes sortes pour dommages résultant d'un usage non conforme sont exclues. L'opérateur est seul à assumer le risque.

Ce chapitre contient des consignes de sécurité importantes se rapportant à la manipulation de l'appareil. Cet appareil est conforme aux consignes de sécurité prescrites. Tout usage non conforme peut entraîner des blessures ou des dommages matériels.

Consignes de sécurité fondamentales

Pour assurer la manipulation de l'appareil en toute sécurité, veuillez respecter les consignes de sécurité suivantes :

■ Vériﬁ ez la présence de dommages visibles extérieurs avant l'usage de l'appa-

reil. Ne mettez pas en service un appareil endommagé. Risque d'électrocution !

■ Conﬁ ez les réparations sur l'appareil exclusivement à des entreprises

agréées ou au service après-vente. Les réparations non conformes peuvent entraîner des risques d'accident pour l'utilisateur ou endommager l'appareil. A cela s'ajoute l'expiration de la garantie.

■ En cas de dommages sur le câble d'alimentation, veuillez le faire remplacer

par des techniciens spécialisés ou le service clientèle, pour éviter tous dangers. Sinon, il y a un risque d'électrocution !

■ N'utilisez jamais l'appareil avec un câble d'alimentation défectueux. Risque

d'électrocution !

■ N'utilisez pas de câble de rallonge ou des réglettes de prises qui ne sont pas

conformes aux dispositions de sécurité nécessaires. Risque d'électrocution !

■ La prise doit être facilement accessible, aﬁ n que le câble d'alimentation

puisse être facilement retiré en cas d'urgence.

■ Cet appareil n'est pas prévu pour une utilisation en continu. Après chaque

opération de mise sous vide, laissez l'appareil refroidir pendant au moins 80 secondes. Sinon, l'appareil peut être endommagé de façon irréparable !

■ N'utilisez pas de temporisateur externe ou un système de télécommande

séparé pour opérer l'appareil.

■ Ne laissez jamais l'appareil sans surveillance, lorsqu'il est prêt pour l'opéra-

tion. Lorsque vous avez terminé ou dans le cas d'une interruption du travail, débranchez toujours la ﬁ che de la prise d'alimentation aﬁ n d'éviter une mise en marche accidentelle.

■ Cet appareil n'est pas prévu pour des personnes (y compris des enfants)

dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales ou dont le manque d'expérience ou de connaissances les empêchent d'assurer un usage sûr des appareils, s'ils n'ont pas été surveillés ou initiés au préalable.

défectueux ou du transport, veuillez vous adresser à la hotline du service après-vente (voir le chapitre Service après-vente).

Déballage

♦ Retirez l'appareil, la gaine de ﬁ lm et le mode d'emploi du carton. ♦ Retirez tous les matériaux d'emballage.

DANGER

► Les matériaux d'emballage ne sont pas un jouet et ne doivent donc pas

être considérés comme tels. Il y a un risque d'étouﬀ ement.

Recyclage de l'emballage

L'emballage protège l'appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du transport. Les matériaux d'emballage ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de respect de l'environnement et de recyclage, de sorte qu'ils peuvent être recyclés.

Le retour de l'emballage dans le cycle des matériaux permet d'économiser les matières premières et réduit la formation de déchets. Recyclez les matériaux d'emballage qui ne sont plus utilisés en conformité avec les règles locales en vigueur.

Dans la mesure du possible, conservez l'emballage d'origine pendant la

Exigences au lieu d'installation

Le lieu d'installation doit satisfaire les exigences suivantes pour l'opération sûre et sans défaillances de l'appareil :

■ Lors de l'installation de l'appareil, installer l'appareil sur un support solide,

plat et horizontal.

■ N'opérez pas l'appareil dans un environnement chaud, mouillé ou très

humide ou à proximité de matériaux inﬂ ammables.

■ La prise doit être facilement accessible, aﬁ n que le câble d'alimentation

puisse être facilement retiré en cas d'urgence.

Raccordement électrique

ATTENTION

Avant de procéder au raccordement de l'appareil, comparez les données

de raccordement (tension et fréquence) de la plaque signalétique avec celles de votre réseau électrique. Ces données doivent correspondre pour éviter tous dommages sur l'appareil.

► Assurez-vous que le câble d'alimentation de l'appareil n'est pas endom-

magé et qu'il n'est pas posé sur des surfaces chaudes et/ou des arêtes

aiguës.

► Veillez à ce que le câble d'alimentation ne soit pas trop tendu ou plié. ► Ne laissez pas pendre le câble d'alimentation sur les coins (risque de

trébucher).

♦ Enﬁ chez ensuite la ﬁ che secteur dans la prise.

Fonctionnement et opération

Ce chapitre contient des remarques importantes sur le fonctionnement et l'opération de l'appareil.

Insérer la gaine de ﬁ lm

♦ Ouvrez le compartiment de dépôt des rouleaux et déposez un rouleau

de gaine de ﬁ lm.

♦ Ouvrez le rail de guidage du dispositif de coupe vers l'arrière et tirez

un morceau de gaine de ﬁ lm entre le rail de guidage et le couvercle de l'appareil.

♦ Fermez le compartiment de dépôt des rouleaux et rabattez à nouveau le

rail de guidage

Souder la gaine de ﬁ lm

ATTENTION

Pour le soudage, utilisez uniquement des ﬁ lms en PEHD (polyéthylène

►

à haute densité)) ou en PE-LD (polyéthylène à basse densité).

► L'épaisseur de la gaine doit s'élever à 30 - 50 μ (0,03 - 0,05 mm). Sinon,

le joint de soudure n'est pas étanche et l'appareil peut être endommagé.

Vous reconnaissez les ﬁ lms de ce type aux indications ﬁ gurant sur l'embal-

lage. La qualité du joint de soudure varie selon le type et l'épaisseur du

ﬁ lm.

► Ne faites pas chauﬀ er le ﬁ lm fourni, par ex. dans un bain marie ou simi-

laire. Il est uniquement conçu pour des températures d'un max. de 60°C.

♦ Tirez la longueur souhaitée de ﬁ lm sous le rail de guidage du dispositif

de coupe .

♦ Rabattez le dispositif de coupe et glissez vers la gauche ou vers la droite

sur toute la largeur du sachet. Vous obtenez une coupe propre avec des coins coupés bien droits.

♦ Ouvrez le couvercle de l'appareil en poussant les déverrouillages du cou-

vercle vers le haut.

♦ Posez l'ouverture du sachet sur le joint de soudure . Pour que le sachet soit

ﬁ xé et ne glisse pas, placez l'extrémité du sachet sous la buse d'aspiration . Pour ce faire, vous pouvez légèrement la relever. Le sachet doit toucher les marques signalées par "Seal“.

REMARQUE

►

L'ouverture du sachet doit reposer à plat sur le joint de soudure . Sinon,

l'opération de soudure ne fonctionne pas vraiment.

♦ Refermez le couvercle de l'appareil et appuyez sur la touche de soudage

avec les deux mains. Le témoin indicateur s'allume.

♦ Maintenez la touche de soudage enfoncée, jusqu'à ce que le témoin

indicateur s'éteigne à nouveau.

ATTENTION

Si le témoin indicateur ne s'éteint pas au plus après 10 secondes, l'appareil présente un défaut !

► Retirez immédiatement la ﬁ che secteur de la prise secteur. N'essayez pas

de réparer l'appareil par vos propres moyens. Adressez-vous au service

clientèle.

♦ Ouvrez le couvercle de l'appareil et retirez le sachet. Celui-ci est maintenant

soudé à une extrémité.

REMARQUE

Assurez-vous que le joint de soudure a été réalisé en bonne et due forme. Un

►

joint de soudure correct se présente comme une bande droite et sans rides.

♦ Remplissez le sachet. Au moins 6 cm de sachet jusqu'au bord à souder doit

rester libre.

ATTENTION

Remplissez le sachet de manière à éviter tout écoulement de restes d'aliments

►

ou de liquides et pénétration dans l'appareil lors du soudage.

♦ Si vous ne souhaitez pas procéder à une mise sous vide, soudez à présent

l'autre côté ouvert.

Mettre la gaine de ﬁ lm sous vide

Pendant que vous scellez le sachet, vous pouvez également en retirer l'air (on parle alors de "mise sous vide") :

ATTENTION

Ne mettez pas sous vide des sachets dans lesquels se trouvent des liquides.

►

Lorsque ceux-ci pénètrent dans l'appareil, ils risquent fort de l' endommager.

♦ Enﬁ lez l'extrémité ouverte du sachet tout autour de la buses d'aspiration .

Pour ce faire, vous pouvez légèrement les relever. Le sachet doit toucher les marques signalées par "Vacuum" sur l'appareil.

L'ouverture du sachet doit reposer à plat sur la d'aspiration et du joint

les deux mains la touche de soudage , comme décrit précédemment, pour sceller le sachet.

ATTENTION

Dommages potentiels sur l'appareil.

► N'utilisez pas d'agents nettoyants agressifs ou abrasifs, car ils peuvent

endommager la surface du boîtier.

► N'utilisez pas d'objets durs ou acérés, pour enlever les restes de colle du joint

de soudure . Sinon, le joint de soudure ou l'isolation risquent d'être

endommagés.

Nettoyage de l'appareil

♦ Nettoyez la surface du boîtier exclusivement avec un chiﬀ on légèrement

humide et un détergent doux.

♦ Retirez les résidus de colle du joint de soudure avec soin à l'aide de votre

ongle.

Nettoyer le bac collecteur

Si des restes alimentaires sont accidentellement aspirés lors de la mise sous vide, un bac collecteur protège l'appareil des dommages. Nettoyez le bac collecteur , dès que les saletés deviennent visibles :

♦ Ouvrez le couvercle de l'appareil et relevez la buse d'aspiration . ♦ Faites lentement sortir le bac collecteur de l'appareil en tirant sur les

poignées latérales.

♦ Nettoyez-le dans de l'eau savonneuse tiède et laissez-le bien sécher.

♦ Replacez le bac collecteur et rabattez à nouveau la buse d'aspiration .

Conservation

L'appareil possède un dispositif d'enroulement du câble intégré sur le dessous de l'appareil sur lequel vous pouvez enrouler le câble d'alimentation lorsque vous ne vous en servez pas. Vous évitez ainsi que le câble secteur ne soit coincé, sali ou ne devienne une source de danger parce qu'il pend.

♦ Entreposez l'appareil à un endroit propre et sec sans exposition directe au

soleil.

Mise au rebut

Ne jetez en aucun cas l'appareil dans les ordures ménagères ordinaires. Ce produit est assujetti à la directive européenne 2002/96/EC (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Remettez l'appareil destiné au recyclage à une entreprise spécialisée ou au centre de recyclage de votre commune. Respectez la réglementation en vigueur. En cas de doutes, contactez votre organisation de recyclage.

Un uso diverso o esulante da quanto sopra è considerato non conforme. Sono escluse le rivendicazioni di qualsiasi genere in caso di danni derivanti da uso non conforme. Il rischio è esclusivamente a carico dell'utente.

Sicurezza

In questo capitolo sono riportate importanti indicazioni di sicurezza per l'uso dell'apparecchio. Questo apparecchio corrisponde alle disposizioni di sicurezza prescritte. L'uso non conforme può comportare danni a persone e a cose.

Avvertenze di sicurezza di base

Per l'uso sicuro dell'apparecchio, rispettare le seguenti avvertenze di sicurezza:

■ Controllare l'apparecchio prima dell'uso per rilevare eventuali danni visibili.

Non mettere in funzione un apparecchio danneggiato. Sussiste il pericolo di folgorazione.

■ Fare eseguire le riparazioni solo da aziende specializzate o dall'assistenza

ai clienti. Le riparazioni eseguite in modo non conforme possono causare il pericolo di lesioni per l'utente o di danni all'apparecchio.Inoltre, la garanzia decade.

■ Far sostituire immediatamente il cavo di rete danneggiato dal centro di

assistenza clienti o dal personale specializzato autorizzato al ﬁ ne di evitare pericoli. In caso contrario sussiste il pericolo di folgorazione!

■ Non utilizzare mai l'apparecchio con un cavo di rete difettoso. Sussiste il

pericolo di folgorazione.

■ Non utilizzare alcuna prolunga o ciabatta che non corrisponda ai requisiti

obbligatori di sicurezza. Pericolo di scossa elettrica!

■ La presa deve essere facilmente accessibile, in modo da poter disconnettere

facilmente il cavo di rete in caso di necessità.

■ Questo apparecchio non è idoneo per il funzionamento continuato. Fare

raﬀ reddare l'apparecchio per almeno 80 secondi dopo ogni procedimento sottovuoto. In caso contrario, l'apparecchio potrebbe danneggiarsi irreparabilmente!

■ Non utilizzare un timer esterno né un sistema di telecomando separato per

azionare l'apparecchio.

■ Non lasciare mai l'apparecchio incustodito se è pronto per l'uso.

Dopo l'uso o in caso di interruzioni del lavoro, disinserire sempre la spina dalla presa di rete, per evitare l'azionamento accidentale dell'apparecchio.

■ Questo apparecchio non è indicato per l'uso da parte di persone (inclusi

bambini) con limitate capacità ﬁ siche, sensoriali o mentali o prive dell'esperienza e/o della conoscenza necessaria, a meno che tali persone non vengano sorvegliate da un responsabile per la sicurezza o abbiano ricevuto indicazioni sull'impiego dell'apparecchio.

■ Sorvegliare i bambini per assicurarsi che non giochino con l'apparecchio.

■ Non aprire mai l'alloggiamento dell'apparecchio! Sussiste il pericolo di

morte a causa di scossa elettrica!

Installazione e collegamento

Volume della fornitura e ispezione per eventuali danni da trasporto

La fornitura standard dell'apparecchio comprende i seguenti componenti:

► In caso di fornitura incompleta o in presenza di danni derivanti da imballag-

gio insuﬃ ciente o causati dal trasporto, rivolgersi alla Hotline di assistenza (v. capitolo Assistenza).

Estrazione dalla confezione

♦ Rimuovere l'apparecchio, la pellicola tubolare e il manuale di istruzioni dal

cartone.

♦ Rimuovere completamente il materiale di imballaggio.

PERICOLO!

► Il materiale di imballaggio non dev'essere utilizzato dai bambini come

giocattolo. Pericolo di soﬀ ocamento!

Smaltimento della confezione

L'imballaggio protegge l'apparecchio dai danni da trasporto. I materiali di imballaggio sono stati selezionati in relazione alla loro ecocompatibilità e alle caratteristiche di smaltimento, e pertanto sono riciclabili.

Il riciclo dell'imballaggio consente di risparmiare materie prime e riduce la generazione di riﬁ uti. Smaltire il materiale di imballaggio inutilizzato in conformità alle norme vigenti localmente.

AVVERTENZA

Durante il periodo di validità della garanzia, se possibile, conservare

l'imballaggio originale, per poter imballare adeguatamente l'apparecchio in caso di intervento in garanzia.

Requisiti del luogo di installazione

Per l'uso sicuro e privo di guasti dell'apparecchio, il luogo di installazione deve adempiere ai seguenti requisiti:

■ Nell'installazione dell'apparecchio, collocare l'apparecchio su una superﬁ cie

solida, piana e orizzontale.

■ Non azionare l'apparecchio in un ambiente surriscaldato, umido o molto

bagnato o nelle vicinanze di materiale inﬁ ammabile.

■ La presa deve essere facilmente accessibile, in modo da poter disconnettere

facilmente il cavo di rete in caso di necessità.

Connessione elettrica

ATTENZIONE

Prima di collegare l'apparecchio, paragonare i dati di connessione (ten-

sione e frequenza) sull'etichetta con quelli della rete elettrica. Questi dati devono corrispondere, per evitare di arrecare danni all'apparecchio.

► Assicurarsi che il cavo di rete dell'apparecchio sia privo di danni e non

venga collocato su superﬁ ci bollenti e/o angoli acuminati.

► Assicurarsi che durante il funzionamento il cavo di rete non venga teso o

piegato.

► Non fare pendere il cavo di rete sugli angoli (eﬀ etto di inciampo).

♦ Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente.

Comandi e funzionamento

In questo capitolo sono riportate indicazioni importanti relative ai comandi e al funzionamento dell'apparecchio.

Inserimento della pellicola tubolare

♦ Aprire il vano di inserimento del rotolo e inserirvi un rotolo di pellicola

tubolare.

♦ Rovesciare la guida del dispositivo di taglio all'indietro e tirare un

pezzo di pellicola tubolare fra la guida e il coperchio dell'apparecchio.

♦ Chiudere il vano di inserimento del rotolo e ricollocare la guida del

dispositivo di taglio nella posizione originaria.

Saldatura della pellicola tubolare

ATTENZIONE

Per la saldatura utilizzare solo pellicola di PEHD (polietilene ad alta densità

►

(high density)) o PE-LD (polietilene a bassa densità (low density).

► Lo spessore della pellicola deve essere compreso fra 30 e 50 μ (0,03 e

0,05 mm). In caso contrario, il ﬁ lo di saldatura non si chiuderà e l'apparecchio potrebbe danneggiarsi. Le pellicole di questo tipo si riconoscono in base ai dati riportati sull'imballaggio. A seconda del tipo e spessore della pellicola, varia anche la qualità del ﬁ lo di saldatura.

► Non riscaldare la pellicola acclusa, ad es. immergendola in acqua o altro.

Essa è idonea solo a temperature massime di 60° C.

♦ Estrarre la lunghezza di pellicola desiderata sotto la guida del dispositivo

di taglio .

♦ Premere verso il basso il dispositivo di taglio e spostarsi verso sinistra o

verso destra oltre la larghezza del sacchetto. Si otterrà un taglio pulito con angoli diritti.

♦ Aprire il coperchio dell'apparecchio, premendo verso l'alto i dispositivi di

sblocco del coperchio .

♦ Collocare un'apertura del sacchetto sul ﬁ lo di saldatura . Per assicurarsi

che il sacchetto sia ﬁ ssato e non scivoli, collocare l'estremità del sacchetto sotto la bocchetta di aspirazione . A tale scopo è possibile sollevarla leggermente. Il sacchetto deve sporgere nell'apparecchio ﬁ no alle marcature contrassegnate con "Seal".

AVVERTENZA

►

L'apertura del sacchetto deve poggiare piatta sul ﬁ lo di saldatura . In caso contrario, la saldatura non funzionerà correttamente.

♦ Chiudere il coperchio dell'apparecchio e premere il tasto di sigillatura

con entrambe le mani. La spia di indicazione si accende.

♦ Tenere il tasto di sigillatura premuto ﬁ no a quando la spia di indicazione

non si spegne nuovamente.

ATTENZIONE

Se la spia di controllo non si spegne dopo massimo 10 secondi, signiﬁ ca che l'apparecchio è guasto!

► Staccare subito la spina dalla presa di corrente. Non tentare di riparare

l'apparecchio autonomamente. Rivolgersi al servizio clienti.

♦ Aprire il coperchio dell'apparecchio e rimuovere il sacchetto. Esso sarà

quindi saldato a un'estremità.

AVVERTENZA

Assicurarsi che il ﬁ lo di saldatura sia stato eseguito correttamente. Un ﬁ lo

►

di saldatura corretto deve avere una striscia piatta priva di pieghe.

♦ Riempire il sacchetto. Si devono lasciare liberi almeno 6 cm di sacchetto

dall'estremità da saldare.

ATTENZIONE

Riempire il sacchetto in modo da impedire la fuoriuscita di resti di alimenti

►

o liquidi nell'apparecchio all'atto della sigillatura.

♦ Se non si desidera ottenere il sottovuoto del sacchetto, saldare il lato ancora

aperto.

Funzione sottovuoto per la pellicola tubolare

All'atto della sigillatura è possibile estrarre al contempo l'aria dal sacchetto (sottovuoto):

ATTENZIONE

Non eseguire tale operazione con sacchetti contenenti liquido. Il liquido

►

potrebbe ﬁ nire nell'apparecchio e danneggiarlo.

♦ Inserire l'estremità aperta del sacchetto intorno alla bocchetta di aspirazione .

A tale scopo è possibile sollevarla leggermente. Il sacchetto in tal caso deve sporgere nell'apparecchio ﬁ no alle marcature contrassegnate con "Vacuum".

Pulizia

AVVERTENZA

L'apertura del sacchetto deve essere poggiata piatta sulla bocchetta di

►

aspirazione e sul ﬁ lo di saldatura . In caso contrario, la funzione sottovuoto e la saldatura non funzioneranno correttamente.

♦ Chiudere il coperchio dell'apparecchio e premere saldamente da entrambi i

lati con entrambe le mani. In tal caso non premere sul tasto di sigillatura . L'aria viene quindi aspirata dal sacchetto.

♦ Non appena l’aria è stata aspirata dal sacchetto, premere e tenere premuto

con entrambe le mani il tasto di sigillatura to, per sigillare il sacchetto.

PERICOLO!

Pericolo di morte a causa di scossa elettrica!

► Prima di cominciare con la pulizia, staccare sempre la spina dalla presa. ► Impedire la penetrazione di umidità nell'apparecchio durante la pulizia.

ATTENZIONE

Possibile danneggiamento dell'apparecchio.

► Non utilizzare detergenti aggressivi o abrasivi, che potrebbero danneggiare

la superﬁ cie dell'alloggiamento dell'apparecchio.

► Non utilizzare oggetti duri o taglienti per rimuovere i resti incollati dal ﬁ lo

di saldatura . In caso contrario, il ﬁ lo di saldatura o la guarnizione potrebbero danneggiarsi.

Pulizia dell'apparecchio

♦ Pulire la superﬁ cie dell'alloggiamento con un panno leggermente inumidito e

un detergente delicato.

♦ Rimuovere cautamente i resti incollati dal ﬁ lo di saldatura con l'unghia.

Pulizia del contenitore di raccolta

In caso di involontaria aspirazione di resti di alimenti durante l'operazione di sottovuoto un contenitore di raccolta lire il contenitore di raccolta non appena le tracce di sporco diventano visibili:

♦ Aprire il coperchio dell'apparecchio e montare la bocchetta di aspirazione .

♦ Estrarre il contenitore di raccolta dall'apparecchio tirando cautamente

dalle maniglie laterali.

♦ Pulirlo in acqua saponata tiepida e farlo quindi asciugare bene.

♦ Ricollocare il contenitore di raccolta al suo posto e richiudere la bocchetta

di aspirazione .

Conservazione

L'apparecchio possiede un dispositivo integrato di avvolgimento del cavo sul lato inferiore dell'alloggiamento, con il quale si può avvolgere il cavo di rete quando non si utilizza l'apparecchio. In tal modo si evita che il cavo venga schiacciato o imbrattato o resti appeso, diventando fonte di pericolo.

♦ Collocare l'apparecchio in un luogo fresco e asciutto privo di irradiazione

Smaltimento

Non smaltire mai l'apparecchio insieme ai normali riﬁ uti domestici. Questo prodotto è soggetto alla Direttiva europea 2002/96/ EC-RAEE (Riﬁ uti da apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche).

Smaltire l'apparecchio presso un'azienda autorizzata o presso l'ente comunale di smaltimento. Rispettare le norme attualmente in vigore. In caso di dubbi, mettersi in contatto con l'ente di smaltimento competente.

Gefeliciteerd met de aankoop van uw nieuwe apparaat! U hebt hiermee gekozen voor een modern en hoogwaardig product. De bedie-

ningshandleiding maakt deel uit van dit product. Deze bevat belangrijke aanwijzingen voor veiligheid, gebruik en afvoeren. Maak uzelf voorafgaand aan het gebruik van het product vertrouwd met alle bedienings- en veiligheidsvoorschriften. Gebruik dit product uitsluitend op de voorgeschreven wijze en voor de aangegeven doeleinden. Geef alle documenten mee als u het product doorgeeft aan een derde.

Gebruik in overeenstemming met bestemming

Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor het periodiek sealen en vacuüm verpakken van levensmiddelen in huishoudhoeveelheden en uitsluitend in het privéhuishouden. Dit apparaat is niet bestemd voor bedrijfsmatig of industrieel gebruik en niet voor permanent gebruik.

Een ander of verdergaand gebruik geldt als niet in overeenstemming met de bestemming. Alle vormen van claims wegens schade door gebruik dat niet volgens de bestemming is zijn uitgesloten. Het risico is alleen voor de gebruiker.

Gebruikte waarschuwingen

In de onderhavige gebruiksaanwijzing worden de volgende waarschuwingen gebruikt:

GEVAAR

Een waarschuwing op dit niveau van gevaar duidt op een dreigende gevaarlijke situatie.

Als de gevaarlijke situatie niet wordt vermeden, kan dit de dood of ernstig letsel tot gevolg hebben.

► Volg de aanwijzingen in deze waarschuwing op om het gevaar van de

dood of ernstig letsel te vermijden.

LET OP

Een waarschuwing op dit niveau van gevaar duidt op een eventuele materiële schade.

Als de gevaarlijke situatie niet wordt vermeden, kan dit materiële schade tot gevolg hebben.

► Volg de aanwijzingen in deze waarschuwing op om materiële schade te

voorkomen.

OPMERKING

Een opmerking wijst op extra informatie, die de omgang met het apparaat

vergemakkelijkt.

Veiligheid

In dit hoofdstuk krijgt u belangrijke veiligheidsinstructies voor de omgang met het apparaat. Dit apparaat voldoet aan de gestelde veiligheidsvoorschriften. Een verkeerd gebruik kan resulteren in persoonlijk en materieel letsel.

Basisveiligheidsvoorschriften

Neem de volgende veiligheidsvoorschriften in acht voor een veilige omgang met het apparaat:

■ Controleer het apparaat vóór het gebruik op uitwendig zichtbare schade.

Neem een beschadigd apparaat niet in gebruik. Er bestaat gevaar voor een elektrische schok!

■ Laat reparaties aan het apparaat alleen uitvoeren door geautoriseerde

speciaalzaken of door de klantenservice. Door ondeskundig uitgevoerde reparaties kan letselgevaar voor de gebruiker ontstaan of kan het apparaat beschadigd raken. Bovendien vervalt dan de garantie.

■ Bij beschadiging van het netsnoer laat u dit door geautoriseerd vakpersoneel of

door de klantenservice vervangen, om risico's te vermijden. Anders bestaat er gevaar voor een elektrische schok!

■ Gebruik het apparaat nooit met een defect netsnoer. Er bestaat gevaar voor

een elektrische schok!

■ Gebruik geen verlengsnoeren of stekkerdozen die niet voldoen aan de vereiste

veiligheidsvoorschriften. Gevaar voor een elektrische schok!

■ Het stopcontact moet goed toegankelijk zijn, zodat het netsnoer in noodge-

vallen makkelijk kan worden uitgetrokken.

■ Het apparaat is niet geschikt voor langdurig gebruik. Laat het apparaat na

elke vacuümprocedure min. 80 seconden afkoelen. Anders kan het apparaat onherstelbaar beschadigd raken!

■ Gebruik geen externe tijdschakelklok of een separaat systeem voor afstands-

bediening om het apparaat te bedienen.

■ Laat het apparaat nooit zonder toezicht wanneer het gebruiksklaar is.

Trek na het gebruik of bij werkonderbrekingen altijd de netstekker uit het stopcontact, om per ongeluk inschakelen te voorkomen.

■ Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (met inbegrip van

kinderen) met beperkte fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens of met gebrek aan ervaring en/of gebrek aan kennis, tenzij ze onder toezicht staan van een voor hun veiligheid verantwoordelijke persoon of van die persoon aanwijzingen krijgen voor het gebruik van het apparaat.

■ Bij kinderen is supervisie noodzakelijk om er voor te zorgen dat ze niet met

het apparaat spelen.

■ Open nooit de behuizing van het apparaat! Er bestaat levensgevaar vanwege

een elektrische schok!

Uitpakken

♦ Haal het apparaat, de buisfolie en de gebruiksaanwijzing uit de doos. ♦ Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal.

GEVAAR

► Verpakkingsmateriaal mag niet als speelgoed door kinderen worden

gebruikt. Er bestaat verstikkingsgevaar.

De verpakking afvoeren

De verpakking beschermt het apparaat tegen transportschade. De verpakkingsmaterialen zijn niet schadelijk voor het milieu. Ze zijn gekozen om afvoertechnische redenen en daarom recyclebaar.

Het terugvoeren van de verpakking in de materiaalkringloop is een besparing op grondstoﬀ en en reduceert het ontstaan van afval. Voer verpakkingsmaterialen die niet meer worden gebruikt af conform de plaatselijke geldende voorschriften.

OPMERKING

Bewaar indien mogelijk de originele verpakking gedurende de garantie-

periode van het apparaat, om het apparaat in geval van een garantiekwestie volgens de voorschriften te kunnen verpakken.

Eisen aan de opstellingslocatie

Voor een veilig en storingvrij gebruik van het apparaat moet de opstellingslocatie aan de volgende voorwaarden voldoen:

■ Plaats het apparaat op een vaste, vlakke en zuiver horizontale ondergrond.

■ Gebruik het apparaat niet in een hete, natte of zeer vochtige omgeving of in

de buurt van brandbare materialen.

■ Het stopcontact moet goed toegankelijk zijn, zodat het netsnoer in noodge-

vallen makkelijk kan worden uitgetrokken.

Elektrische aansluiting

LET OP

Vergelijk voor het aansluiten van het apparaat de aansluitgegevens

(spanning en frequentie) op het kenplaatje met die van uw lichtnet. Deze gegevens moeten overeenkomen, zodat het apparaat niet beschadigd kan raken.

► Verzeker u ervan dat het netsnoer van het apparaat onbeschadigd is en

niet over hete vlakken en/of scherpe kanten wordt geleid.

► Let erop dat het netsnoer niet strak gespannen of geknikt wordt. ► Laat het netsnoer niet over hoeken hangen (gevaar voor struikelen).

♦ Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.

Bediening en bedrijf

In dit hoofdstuk krijgt u belangrijke aanwijzingen over de bediening en het bedrijf van het apparaat.

Buisfolie aanbrengen

♦ Open het rolopbergvak en leg er een rol buisfolie in. ♦ Klap de geleiderail van het snijsysteem naar achteren en trek een stuk

buisfolie tussen de geleiderail en het apparaatdeksel door.

♦ Sluit het rolopbergvak en klap de geleiderail van het snijsysteem

weer terug.

Buisfolie sealen

LET OP

Gebruik voor het sealen alleen folie van PEHD (polyethyleen high density

►

(hoge dichtheid)) of PE-LD (polyethyleen low density (lage dichtheid)).

► De foliesterkte moet 30 - 50 μ (0,03 - 0,05 mm) bedragen. Anders wordt de

sealnaad niet echt dicht en kan het apparaat beschadigd raken. U herkent

folie van dit type aan de gegevens op de verpakking. Al naar gelang het

type en de sterkte van de folie varieert de kwaliteit van de sealnaad.

► Verhit de meegeleverde folie niet, bijv. in een waterbad o.i.d. De folie is

slechts bestand tegen temperaturen tot max. 60°C.

♦ Trek de gewenste lengte van de folie onder de geleiderail van het snij-

systeem door.

♦ Druk het snijsysteem omlaag en beweeg het naar links of rechts over

de breedte van de zak. Zo krijgt u een zuivere snede met recht gesneden hoeken.

♦ Open het apparaatdeksel door de dekselontgrendelingen omhoog te

drukken.

♦ Leg een zakopening op de lasdraad . Om de zak vast te houden zodat

die niet wegglijdt, legt u het uiteinde van de zak onder de afzuigsteun Deze kunt u hiertoe licht optillen. De zak moet tot de met “Seal” aangegeven markeringen in het apparaat komen.

OPMERKING

►

De zakopening moet glad op de lasdraad liggen. Anders werkt het

sealen niet goed.

♦ Sluit het apparaatdeksel en druk met beide handen op de seal-toets . Het

indicatielampje gaat branden.

♦ Houd de seal-toets zolang ingedrukt, tot het indicatielampje weer

uitgaat.

LET OP

Als het indicatielampje na uiterlijk 10 seconden niet uit is, is er sprake van een defect aan het apparaat!

► Haal onmiddellijk de netstekker uit het stopcontact. Probeer het apparaat

niet zelf te repareren. Neem contact op met de klantenservice.

♦ Open het apparaatdeksel en haal de zak uit het apparaat. De zak is nu aan

één uiteinde geseald.

OPMERKING

Controleer of de sealnaad correct is. Een correcte lasnaad is een gladde,

►

rechte streep zonder vouwen.

♦ Vul de zak. Laat minstens 6 cm van de zak tot aan de te sealen kant vrij.

LET OP

Vul de zak zodanig, dat er in geen geval resten van levensmiddelen of

►

vloeistoﬀ en bij het sealen kunnen uitlopen en in het apparaat kunnen

komen.

♦ Wanneer u de zak niet vacuüm wilt trekken, sealt u nu de andere open kant.

Buisfolie vacuüm trekken

Bij het sealen kunt u ook de lucht uit de zak zuigen (vacuüm trekken):

Trek geen zakken vacuüm met vloeistoﬀ en erin. Deze komen dan in het

apparaat en beschadigen het.

♦ Doe het open uiteinde van de zak om de afzuigsteun . Deze kunt u hiertoe

licht optillen. De zak moet daarbij tot de met “Vacuum” aangegeven markeringen in het apparaat komen.

LET OP

Mogelijke beschadiging van het apparaat.

► Gebruik geen agressieve of schurende schoonmaakmiddelen, omdat hierdoor

het oppervlak van de behuizing kan worden aangetast.

► Gebruik geen harde of scherpe voorwerpen om de lijmresten van de

lasdraad te verwijderen. Anders kan de lasdraad of de isolatie

beschadigd raken.

Apparaat reinigen

♦ Reinig het oppervlak van de behuizing uitsluitend met een licht vochtige

doek en een mild afwasmiddel.

♦ Verwijder lijmresten van de lasdraad voorzichtig met een vingernagel.

Opvangbak reinigen

Indien er tijdens het vacuüm trekken per ongeluk resten van levensmiddelen mee worden gezogen, beschermt de opvangbak het apparaat tegen beschadiging. Reinig de opvangbak zodra er verontreinigingen zichtbaar zijn:

♦ Open het apparaatdeksel en doe de afzuigsteun omhoog. ♦ Trek de opvangbak aan de grepen aan de zijkanten voorzichtig uit het

apparaat.

♦ Reinig de bak in lauwwarm afwaswater en laat hem daarna goed opdrogen.

♦ Plaats de opvangbak terug en klap de afzuigsteun omlaag.

Opbergen

Het apparaat heeft aan de onderkant een geïntegreerde kabelspoel, waarop u het netsnoer kunt wikkelen wanneer u het niet gebruikt. Zo voorkomt u dat het netsnoer wordt ingeklemd, vuil wordt of een bron van gevaar wordt doordat het loshangt.

♦ Berg het apparaat op een schone, droge plaats zonder rechtstreeks zonlicht

op.

Afvoeren

Deponeer het apparaat in geen geval bij het normale huisvuil. Dit product is onderworpen aan de Europese richtlijn 2002/96/EC (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Voer het apparaat af via een erkend afvalverwerkingsbedrijf of via uw gemeentereiniging. Neem de bestaande voorschriften in acht. Neem in geval van twijfel contact op met uw gemeentereinigingsdienst.

This appliance is not intended for any other use or for uses beyond those mentioned. Claims of any kind for damage resulting from unintended use will not be accepted. The user alone bears liability.

Safety

In this chapter you receive important safety information regarding the handling of the appliance. This appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations. Incorrect usage can lead to personal injury and property damage.

Basic Safety Instructions

For safe handling of the appliance observe the following safety information:

■ Before use check the appliance for visible external damage. Do not put

into operation an appliance that is damaged. There will be a risk of a fatal electrical shock.

■ Repairs should only be carried out by authorised specialist companies or by

the Customer Services department. Incompetent repairs may result in injury to the user or damage to the appliance. In addition warranty claims become void.

■ To avoid risks, arrange for a defective power cable to be replaced by qualiﬁ ed

technicians or our Customer Service Department. Otherwise there will be a risk of receiving an electric shock!

■ NEVER use the appliance with a defective power cable. There will be a risk

of a fatal electrical shock.

■ Do not use extension cables or power socket strips that do not meet the

required safety standards. Risk of electic shock!

■ The mains power socket must be easily accessible, so that the power cable

can be easily disconnected in the event of an emergency.

■ This appliance is not suitable for continuous use over long periods. Let the

appliance cool down for minimum 80 seconds after each vacuum process. The appliance could otherwise be irreparably damaged!

■ Do not use an external timing switch or a separate remote control system to

operate the appliance.

■ Do not leave the appliance unsupervised when it is ready for use.

To avoid it being switched on accidentally, always unplug the appliance after use or during breaks.

■ This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including children)

with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or deﬁ ciences in experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or receive from this person instruction in how the appliance is to be used.

■ Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the ap-

pliance.

■ Never open the appliance housing! There is a risk of receiving a potentially

fatal electric shock!

Setting up and connecting to the power supply

Unpacking

♦ Remove the appliance, the tube ﬁ lm and the operating instructions from the

carton.

♦ Remove all packing material.

► Packaging material should not be used as a play thing by children. There is

a risk of suﬀ ocation!

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.

If possible preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty

period so that in the case of a warranty claim you can package the appliance properly for return.

Requirements on the installation site

For safe and ﬂ awless operation of the appliance, the installation site must comply with the following requirements:

■ When setting it up, place the appliance on a ﬁ rm, ﬂ at and horizontal

surface.

■ Do not operate the appliance in a hot, wet or very humid environment or

close to combustible material.

■ The mains power socket must be easily accessible, so that the power cable

can be easily disconnected in the event of an emergency.

Electrical connection

IMPORTANT

Before you connect the appliance, compare the connection data (voltage

and frequency) on the data plate with that of your mains power network. This data must match in order to avoid any damage to the appliance.

► Ensure that the power cable is undamaged and is not routed over hot

surfaces and/or sharp edges.

► Ensure that the power cable is not taut or kinked. ► Do not let the power cable hang over edges (trip wire eﬀ ect).

Handling and operation

In this chapter you receive important information for the handling and operation of the appliance.

Inserting the tube ﬁ lm

♦ Open the roll storage compartment and insert a roll of tubular ﬁ lm. ♦ Fold the guide rail of the cutting device to the rear and pull a piece

of tube ﬁ lm through between the guide rail and the appliance lid.

♦ Close the roll storage compartment and fold the guide rail of the

cutting device

Sealing the tube ﬁ lm

IMPORTANT

For sealing use only ﬁ lm made from HDPE (high density polyethylene) and

►

LDPE (low density polyethylene).

► The foil thickness must be between 30-50 μ (0.03 - 0.05 mm). Otherwise,

the sealing seam will not be tight and the appliance could be damaged.

You can identify ﬁ lms of this kind from the markings on the packaging. The

quality of the seal varies depending on the type and thickness of the ﬁ lm.

► Do not heat the supplied ﬁ lm, for example in a water-bath or similar. It is

construed for temperatures up to a maximum of 60°C.

♦ Pull out the desired length of ﬁ lm under the guide rail of the cutting

device .

♦ Press down on the cutting device and then slide it to the left or right over

the bag width. You get a clean cut with straight-cut corners.

♦ Open the appliance lid by pressing the lid releases to the top. ♦ Place a bag opening on the sealing wire . To ensure that the bag is ﬁ xed

♦ If you do not want to vacuum seal the bag you can now seal the open side.

Vacuuming the tube ﬁ lm

When sealing, you can at the same time extract the air from the bag (vacuuming):

♦ Place the open end of the bag around the suction connectors . For

♦ Close the appliance lid and then press it down ﬁ rmly on both sides and with

both hands. Thereby, do NOT press the sealing button . The air is now being sucked from the bag.

♦ As soon as the air has been sucked from the bag, press and hold the sealing

button with both hands, as already described, and seal the bag. The vacuuming does not stop automatically!

. If it does not, the vacuuming and sealing will not work

► Remove the plug from the mains power socket before beginning to clean

the appliance.

► Ensure that moisture cannot permeate into the appliance during cleaning.

► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaners as they may damage the

surface of the housing.

► Do not use hard or sharp objects to remove the glue residues from the

sealing wire . If you do, the sealing wire or the isolation could be

damaged.

Cleaning the appliance

♦ Clean the housing of the appliance only with a lightly moistened cloth and a

mild detergent.

♦ Remove glue residue from the sealing wire gently with your ﬁ ngernail.

Cleaning the collection container

Should food remnants be unintentionally sucked in when vacuuming, the collection container protects the appliance from damage. Clean the collection container , as soon as contamination is visible:

♦ Open the appliance lid and lift the suction connectors up. ♦ Carefully pull the collection container out of the appliance by using the

side handles to pull it.

♦ Clean it in lukewarm washing-up water and then allow it to dry well. ♦ Replace the collection container back into the appliance and fold the

suction connectors down.

Storage

The appliance has a built-in cable winder on the underside of the housing, on which you can wrap the power cable when it is not in use. This prevents the power cable from being pinched, damaged or soiled, and it cannot become a source of danger by hanging loosely down.

♦ Store the appliance in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Disposal

Do not dispose of this appliance with your normal household waste. This product is subject to the provisions of the European Directive 2002/96/EC-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.
