Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance!
You have clearly decided in favour of a modern and high-quality product. These

operating instructions are a part of this product. They contain important informa­tion in regard to safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise
yourself with all of these operating and safety instructions. Use the product only
as described and only for the specifi ed areas of application. In addition, pass
these documents on, together with the product, to any future owner.

Intended use

This plastic fi lm sealer is intended for the occasional vacuum-packing of food in
typical household quantities and only for private household use. This appliance
is not intended for commercial or industrial applications or for continuous opera­tion.

This appliance is not intended for any other use or for uses beyond those men­tioned. Claims of any kind for damage resulting from unintended use will not be
accepted. The user alone bears liability.

In these operating instructions the following warnings are used:

A warning at this risk level indicates a threateningly dangerous
situation.

If the dangerous situation is not avoided, it could result in death or serious
injury.

Safety

In this chapter you receive important safety information regarding the handling
of the appliance. This appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations.
Incorrect usage can lead to personal injury and property damage.

Basic Safety Instructions

For safe handling of the appliance observe the following safety information:

■ Before use check the appliance for visible external damage. Do not put

into operation an appliance that is damaged. There will be a risk of a fatal
electrical shock.

■ Repairs should only be carried out by authorised specialist companies or by

the Customer Services department. Incompetent repairs may result in injury
to the user or damage to the appliance. In addition warranty claims become
void.

■ To avoid risks, arrange for a defective power cable to be replaced by qualifi ed

technicians or our Customer Service Department. Otherwise there will be a
risk of receiving an electric shock!

■ NEVER use the appliance with a defective power cable. There will be a risk

of a fatal electrical shock.

■ Do not use extension cables or power socket strips that do not meet the

required safety standards. Risk of electic shock!

■ The mains power socket must be easily accessible, so that the power cable

can be easily disconnected in the event of an emergency.

■ This appliance is not suitable for continuous use over long periods. Let the

appliance cool down for minimum 80 seconds after each vacuum process.
The appliance could otherwise be irreparably damaged!

■ Do not use an external timing switch or a separate remote control system to

operate the appliance.

■ Do not leave the appliance unsupervised when it is ready for use.

To avoid it being switched on accidentally, always unplug the appliance
after use or during breaks.

■ This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including children)

with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or defi ciences
in experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or receive from this person instruction in how the
appliance is to be used.

■ Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the ap-

pliance.

■ Never open the appliance housing! There is a risk of receiving a potentially

fatal electric shock!

Setting up and connecting to the power supply

Items delivered and transport inspection

The appliance is delivered with the following components as standard:

▯ Vacuum Sealer SFS 150 B3
▯ 1 Tube fi lm made of PE-HD (Polyethylene of high density)
▯ This operating manual

NOTICE

Check the contents to make sure everything is there and for visible damage.

►
► If the contents are not complete or are damaged due to defective packaging

or through transportation, contact the service hotline (see chapter Service).

Unpacking

♦ Remove the appliance, the tube fi lm and the operating instructions from the

carton.

♦ Remove all packing material.

DANGER

► Packaging material should not be used as a play thing by children. There is

a risk of suff ocation!

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging
materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness
and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is
no longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.

If possible preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty

period so that in the case of a warranty claim you can package the appliance
properly for return.

Requirements on the installation site

For safe and fl awless operation of the appliance, the installation site must comply
with the following requirements:

■ When setting it up, place the appliance on a fi rm, fl at and horizontal

surface.

■ Do not operate the appliance in a hot, wet or very humid environment or

close to combustible material.

■ The mains power socket must be easily accessible, so that the power cable

can be easily disconnected in the event of an emergency.

Electrical connection

IMPORTANT

Before you connect the appliance, compare the connection data (voltage

►

and frequency) on the data plate with that of your mains power network.
This data must match in order to avoid any damage to the appliance.

► Ensure that the power cable is undamaged and is not routed over hot

surfaces and/or sharp edges.

► Ensure that the power cable is not taut or kinked.
► Do not let the power cable hang over edges (trip wire eff ect).

♦ Insert the plug into a mains power socket.

Handling and operation

In this chapter you receive important information for the handling and operation
of the appliance.

Inserting the tube fi lm

♦ Open the roll storage compartment and insert a roll of tubular fi lm.
♦ Fold the guide rail of the cutting device to the rear and pull a piece

of tube fi lm through between the guide rail and the appliance lid.

♦ Close the roll storage compartment and fold the guide rail of the

cutting device

Sealing the tube fi lm

IMPORTANT

For sealing use only fi lm made from HDPE (high density polyethylene) and

►

LDPE (low density polyethylene).

► The foil thickness must be between 30-50 μ (0.03 - 0.05 mm). Otherwise,

the sealing seam will not be tight and the appliance could be damaged.

You can identify fi lms of this kind from the markings on the packaging. The

quality of the seal varies depending on the type and thickness of the fi lm.

► Do not heat the supplied fi lm, for example in a water-bath or similar. It is

construed for temperatures up to a maximum of 60°C.

♦ Pull out the desired length of fi lm under the guide rail of the cutting

device .

♦ Press down on the cutting device and then slide it to the left or right over

the bag width. You get a clean cut with straight-cut corners.

♦ Open the appliance lid by pressing the lid releases to the top.
♦ Place a bag opening on the sealing wire . To ensure that the bag is fi xed

in place and does not slip, place the end of the bag below the suction con­nectors
the marking "Seal", which is marked on the appliance.

NOTICE

►

The bag opening must lie smoothly on the sealing wire . Otherwise, the

sealing does not function properly.

♦ Close the appliance lid and, using both hands, press the sealing button .

The indication lamp glows.

. For this you can lift them slightly. The bag needs to extend up to

♦ Hold the sealing button pressed down until the indication lamp

extinguishes.

IMPORTANT

If the indication lamp does not extinguish after 10 seconds
at the most, the appliance is defective!

► Immediately remove the plug from the mains power socket. Do not attempt

to repair the appliance yourself. In this case, contact Customer Services.

♦ Open the appliance lid and remove the bag. This is now sealed at one end.

NOTICE

Check to ensure that the sealing seam is in order. A correct sealing seam

►

should be a smooth, straight strip without folds.

♦ Fill the bag. You must leave at least 6 cm free to the bag-edge that is to be

sealed.

IMPORTANT

Fill the bags in such a way that, under no circumstances, food remnants or

►

fl uids can run out of the bag when sealing it and permeate into the appliance.

♦ If you do not want to vacuum seal the bag you can now seal the open side.

Vacuuming the tube fi lm

When sealing, you can at the same time extract the air from the bag (vacuuming):

IMPORTANT

Do NOT vacuum bags in which there are liquids. They will permeate into

►

the appliance and damage it.

♦ Place the open end of the bag around the suction connectors . For

this you can lift them slightly. The bag needs to extend up to the marking
"Vacuum", which is marked on the appliance.

NOTICE

Cleaning

The bag opening must lie smoothly against the suction connectors and

►

the sealing wire

properly.

♦ Close the appliance lid and then press it down fi rmly on both sides and with

both hands. Thereby, do NOT press the sealing button . The air is now
being sucked from the bag.

♦ As soon as the air has been sucked from the bag, press and hold the sealing

button with both hands, as already described, and seal the bag. The
vacuuming does not stop automatically!

. If it does not, the vacuuming and sealing will not work

DANGER

Risk of potentially fatal electrical shock!

► Remove the plug from the mains power socket before beginning to clean

the appliance.

► Ensure that moisture cannot permeate into the appliance during cleaning.

IMPORTANT

Possible damage to the appliance.

► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaners as they may damage the

surface of the housing.

► Do not use hard or sharp objects to remove the glue residues from the

sealing wire . If you do, the sealing wire or the isolation could be

damaged.

Cleaning the appliance

♦ Clean the housing of the appliance only with a lightly moistened cloth and a

mild detergent.

♦ Remove glue residue from the sealing wire gently with your fi ngernail.

Cleaning the collection container

Should food remnants be unintentionally sucked in when vacuuming, the col­lection container protects the appliance from damage. Clean the collection
container , as soon as contamination is visible:

♦ Open the appliance lid and lift the suction connectors up.
♦ Carefully pull the collection container out of the appliance by using the

side handles to pull it.

♦ Clean it in lukewarm washing-up water and then allow it to dry well.
♦ Replace the collection container back into the appliance and fold the

suction connectors down.

Storage

The appliance has a built-in cable winder on the underside of the housing, on
which you can wrap the power cable when it is not in use. This prevents the
power cable from being pinched, damaged or soiled, and it cannot become
a source of danger by hanging loosely down.

♦ Store the appliance in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Disposal

Do not dispose of this appliance with your normal household
waste. This product is subject to the provisions of the European
Directive 2002/96/EC-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment).

Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your com­munity waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of
doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.

You receive a 3-year warranty for this appliance as of the purchase date. The
appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before
delivery.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty claim,
please make contact by telephone with our service department. Only in this way
can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.

NOTICE

This appliance is intended for domestic use only, NOT for commercial purposes.
If this product has been subjected to improper or inappropriate handling, abuse,
or modifi cations not carried out by one of our authorised sales and service
outlets, the warranty will be considered void.

Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
The warranty period will not be extended as a result of repairs made under
warranty. This applies also to replaced and repaired parts.

Damages and defects discovered on purchase are to be reported directly after

Πληροφορίες για αυτές τις οδηγίες χρήσης

Συγχαρητήρια για την αγορά της νέας σας συσκευής!
Αποφασίσατε έτσι την απόκτηση ενός μοντέρνου προϊόντος υψηλής ποιότητας.

Οι οδηγίες χειρισμού είναι τμήμα αυτού του προϊόντος. Περιέχουν σημαντικές
υποδείξεις για την ασφάλεια, τη χρήση και την απόρριψη. Πριν από τη χρήση
του προϊόντος εξοικειωθείτε με όλες τις υποδείξεις χειρισμού και ασφάλειας.
Χρησιμοποιείτε αυτό το προϊόν μόνο όπως περιγράφεται και για τα αναφερόμενα
πεδία χρήσης. Σε περίπτωση παράδοσης του προϊόντος σε τρίτους, παραδίδετε
και όλα τα έγγραφα.

Πνευματικά δικαιώματα

Αυτές οι οδηγίες έχουν προστασία πνευματικών δικαιωμάτων.
Κάθε αντιγραφή ή κάθε ανατύπωση, ακόμα και τμηματικά, καθώς και η αναπα-

τη σύνδεση και το χειρισμό σε αυτές τις οδηγίες χειρισμού, αντιστοιχούν στην
τελευταία τεχνολογία των εκτυπώσεων και διεξάγονται λαμβάνοντας υπόψη τις
μέχρι τώρα εμπειρίες και γνώσεις μας στο ανώτερο επίπεδο.

Από τα στοιχεία, τις απεικονίσεις και περιγραφές σε αυτή την οδηγία δεν μπορούν
να εγερθούν απαιτήσεις.

Ο κατασκευαστής δεν αναλαμβάνει καμία ευθύνη για βλάβες από μη τήρηση
των οδηγιών, από μη σύμφωνη με τους κανονισμούς χρήση, από εσφαλμένες
επισκευές, από μη εγκεκριμένες διεξαχθείσες τροποποιήσεις ή χρήση με επιτρε­πόμενων εξαρτημάτων.

Χρήση σύμφωνη με τους κανονισμούς

Αυτή η συσκευή προβλέπεται μόνο για την περιστασιακή σφράγιση και δημιουργία
κενού σε τρόφιμα σε οικιακές ποσότητες και μόνο για το ιδιωτικό νοικοκυριό.
Αυτή η συσκευή δεν προβλέπεται για την επαγγελματική ή βιομηχανική χρήση
και όχι για συνεχή χρήση.

Μία άλλη ή διαφορετική χρήση από τα ανωτέρω αναφερόμενα ισχύει ως μη
σύμφωνη με τους κανονισμούς. Απαιτήσεις οποιουδήποτε είδους έναντι φθορών
από μη σύμφωνη με τους κανονισμούς χρήση, απορρίπτονται. Ο χρήστης φέρει
αποκλειστικά την ευθύνη.

Χρησιμοποιούμενες υποδείξεις προειδοποίησης

Στις παρούσες οδηγίες χειρισμού χρησιμοποιούνται οι εξής υποδείξεις προει­δοποίησης:

ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ

Μία προειδοποίηση υπόδειξης αυτού του βαθμού κινδύνου
χαρακτηρίζει μία επικείμενη επικίνδυνη κατάσταση.

Στην περίπτωση που δεν μπορεί να αποφευχθεί αυτή η επικίνδυνη κατάσταση,
μπορεί να προκληθεί θάνατος ή βαριοί τραυματισμοί.

► Οι υποδείξεις σε αυτή την υπόδειξη προειδοποίησης γίνονται ώστε να

αποφευχθεί ο κίνδυνος θανάτου ή βαριών τραυματισμών ατόμων.

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ

Μία υπόδειξη προειδοποίησης αυτού του βαθμού κινδύνου
χαρακτηρίζει μία πιθανή εμπράγματη ζημιά.

Στην περίπτωση που δεν μπορεί να αποφευχθεί αυτή η κατάσταση, μπορεί να
συμβεί εμπράγματη ζημιά.

► Οι οδηγίες σε αυτή την υπόδειξη προειδοποίησης πρέπει να τηρούνται,

ώστε να αποφεύγονται εμπράγματες ζημιές.

Ασφάλεια

Σε αυτό το κεφάλαιο λαμβάνετε σημαντικές υποδείξεις ασφάλειας για το
χειρισμό της συσκευής. Αυτή η συσκευή αντιστοιχεί στους προδιαγεγραμμένους
κανόνες ασφαλείας.
Μία μη σύμφωνη με τους κανονισμούς χρήση μπορεί να οδηγήσει σε βλάβες σε
άτομα ή αντικείμενα.

Βασικές υποδείξεις ασφαλείας

Προσέξτε τις εξής υποδείξεις ασφαλείας για έναν ασφαλή χειρισμό της συσκευής:

■ Πριν από τη χρήση ελέγχετε τη συσκευή ως προς εξωτερικές εμφανείς

φθορές. Μη θέτετε σε λειτουργία μία συσκευή που έχει φθορές. Υπάρχει
κίνδυνος ηλεκτροπληξίας.

■ Επιτρέπετε τις επισκευές στη συσκευή μόνο από εξουσιοδοτημένα συνεργεία

ή από το τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης πελατών. Μέσω ακατάλληλων επισκευών μπορεί
να προκληθούν κίνδυνοι τραυματισμών για το χρήστη ή μπορεί να προκλη­θούν ζημιές στη συσκευή. Επίσης ακυρώνεται η απαίτηση της εγγύησης.

■ Σε περίπτωση ζημιάς του καλωδίου δικτύου επιτρέψτε την αντικατάσταση

του από εξουσιοδοτημένο ειδικό προσωπικό ή από το τμήμα εξυπηρέτη­σης πελατών, ώστε να αποφευχθούν κίνδυνοι. Αλλιώς υπάρχει κίνδυνος
ηλεκτροπληξίας!

■ Ποτέ μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή με ένα ελαττωματικό καλώδιο δικτύου.

Υπάρχει κίνδυνος ηλεκτροπληξίας.

■ Μη χρησιμοποιείτε καλώδια επεκτάσεις ή πολύμπριζα, τα οποία δεν

αντιστοιχούν στους απαιτούμενους κανονισμούς ασφαλείας. Κίνδυνος
ηλεκτροπληξίας!

■ Η πρίζα πρέπει να είναι εύκολα προσβάσιμη, έτσι ώστε το καλώδιο δικτύου

να μπορεί να τραβηχτεί εύκολα σε περίπτωση ανάγκης.

■ Η συσκευή δεν ενδείκνυται για διαρκή λειτουργία. Αφήνετε τη συσκευή να

κρυώνει τουλάχιστο για 80 δευτερόλεπτα μετά από κάθε διαδικασία δημι­ουργίας κενού. Αλλιώς μπορεί η συσκευή να πάθει ανεπανόρθωτη βλάβη!

■ Μη χρησιμοποιείτε εξωτερικό χρονοδιακόπτη ή ξεχωριστό τηλεχειριστήριο

για να λειτουργήσετε τη συσκευή.

■ Ποτέ μην αφήνετε τη συσκευή χωρίς επιτήρηση, όταν είναι έτοιμη προς

λειτουργία. Μετά τη χρήση ή σε διακοπές κατά την εργασία βγάζετε πάντα
το βύσμα από την πρίζα, για να αποφύγετε ανεπιθύμητη εκκίνηση.

■ Αυτή η συσκευή δεν προορίζεται για χρήση από άτομα (συμπεριλαμβανομένων

παιδιών) με περιορισμένες φυσικές, αισθητηριακές ή πνευματικές δυνατότητες
ή με έλλειψη εμπειρίας και/ ή με έλλειψη γνώσεων, εκτός εάν επιτηρούνται μέσω
ενός υπεύθυνου ατόμου για την ασφάλειά τους ή εάν έχουν λάβει υποδείξεις
για το πώς χρησιμοποιείται η συσκευή.

■ Τα παιδιά πρέπει να επιτηρούνται ώστε να εξασφαλίζεται ότι δεν παίζουν με

τη συσκευή.

■ Ποτέ μην ανοίγετε το περίβλημα της συσκευής!Υπάρχει κίνδυνος θανάτου

λόγω ηλεκτροπληξίας!

Τοποθέτηση και σύνδεση

Σύνολο παράδοσης και έλεγχος της μεταφοράς

Η συσκευή παραδίδεται κανονικά με τα εξής στοιχεία:

▯ 1 x σωληνοειδής μεμβράνη από PE-HD (πολυαιθυλένιο υψηλής πυκνότητας)
▯ Αυτές οι Οδηγίες χρήσεως

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

Ελέγχετε το σύνολο παράδοσης ως προς την πληρότητα και εμφανείς

►

φθορές.

► Σε μία ελλιπή παράδοση ή σε φθορές από ελλιπή συσκευασία ή από τη με-

ταφορά απευθυνθείτε στη γραμμή του σέρβις (δείτε το Κεφάλαιο Σέρβις).

Αποσυσκευασία

♦ Απομακρύνετε τη συσκευή, τη σωληνοειδή μεμβράνη και τις Οδηγίες χρήσεως

από το χαρτοκιβώτιο.

♦ Αφαιρέστε όλα τα υλικά της συσκευασίας.

ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ

► Τα υλικά συσκευασίας δεν επιτρέπεται να χρησιμοποιούνται από τα παιδιά

ως παιχνίδι.
Υπάρχει κίνδυνος πνιγμού.

Απόρριψη της συσκευασίας

Η συσκευασία προστατεύει τη συσκευή από φθορές κατά τη μεταφορά. Τα υλικά
συσκευασίας έχουν επιλεγεί σύμφωνα με τους οικολογικούς παράγοντες και τους
παράγοντες της τεχνικής απόρριψης και για το λόγο αυτό είναι ανακυκλώσιμα.

Η επιστροφή της συσκευασίας στον κύκλο ροής υλικών εξοικονομεί πρώτες ύλες
και μειώνει την ποσότητα των απορριμμάτων. Απορρίπτετε τα υλικά συσκευασίας
που δεν χρησιμοποιούνται πλέον σύμφωνα με τις τοπικές ισχύουσες προδια­γραφές.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

Εάν είναι δυνατό φυλάξτε τη γνήσια συσκευασία κατά τη διάρκεια της

►

εγγύησης, για να μπορείτε σε περίπτωση εγγύησης να συσκευάσετε τη
συσκευή σωστά.

Απαιτήσεις για το χώρο τοποθέτησης

Για μια ασφαλή και άψογη λειτουργία της συσκευής, ο χώρος τοποθέτησης
πρέπει να πληροί τις ακόλουθες προϋποθέσεις:

■ Κατά την τοποθέτηση της συσκευής, εγκαθιστάτε τη συσκευή επάνω σε μια

σταθερή, επίπεδη και οριζόντια βάση.

■ Μη λειτουργείτε τη συσκευή σε καυτά, βρεγμένα ή πολύ υγρά περιβάλλοντα

ή κοντά σε εύφλεκτα υλικά.

■ Η πρίζα πρέπει να είναι εύκολα προσβάσιμη, έτσι ώστε το καλώδιο δικτύου

να μπορεί να τραβηχτεί εύκολα σε περίπτωση ανάγκης.

Ηλεκτρική σύνδεση

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ

Πριν από τη σύνδεση της συσκευής συγκρίνετε τα δεδομένα σύνδεσης

►

(τάση και συχνότητα) επάνω στην πινακίδα τύπου, με αυτά του δικτύου
ηλεκτρικού ρεύματος. Αυτά τα δεδομένα πρέπει να συμφωνούν, ώστε να
μην εμφανίζονται βλάβες στη συσκευή.

► Βεβαιώνεστε ότι το καλώδιο δικτύου της συσκευής δεν έχει φθορές και ότι

δεν τοποθετείται επάνω σε καυτές επιφάνειες και/ή αιχμηρές ακμές.

► Προσέχετε ώστε το καλώδιο δικτύου να μην τεντώνεται υπερβολικά ή

κάμπτεται.

► Μην επιτρέπετε το καλώδιο δικτύου να κρέμεται πάνω από γωνίες (κίνδυνος

να σκοντάψει κάποιος).

♦ Βάλτε το βύσμα στην πρίζα δικτύου.

Χειρισμός και λειτουργία

Σε αυτό το κεφάλαιο λαμβάνετε σημαντικές υποδείξεις για το χειρισμό και τη
λειτουργία της συσκευής.

Τοποθέτηση σωληνοειδούς μεμβράνης

♦ Ανοίξτε το χώρο κυλίνδρου απόθεσης και τοποθετήστε ένα ρολό σωλη-

νοειδή μεμβράνη.

♦ Γυρίστε τη γραμμή οδήγησης της διάταξης κοπής προς τα πίσω

και τραβήξτε ένα κομμάτι σωληνοειδή μεμβράνη μέσα από τη γραμμή
οδήγησης και από το κάλυμμα συσκευής.

♦ Κλείστε το χώρο κυλίνδρου απόθεσης και γυρίστε πάλι κάτω τη γραμμή

οδήγησης

Συγκόλληση σωληνοειδούς μεμβράνης

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ

Χρησιμοποιείτε για τη συγκόλληση μόνο μεμβράνη από PEHD (πολυαιθυ-

►

λένιο υψηλής πυκνότητας) ή PE-LD (πολυαιθυλένιο χαμηλής πυκνότητας).

► Το πάχος μεμβράνης πρέπει να ανέρχεται σε 30 - 50 μ (0,03 - 0,05 χιλ.).

Αλλιώς η ραφή συγκόλλησης δεν θα γίνει στεγανή και η συσκευή μπορεί να
χαλάσει. Αναγνωρίζετε τις μεμβράνες αυτού τους είδους από τα στοιχεία στη
συσκευασία. Ανάλογα με το είδος και το πάχος της μεμβράνης, ποικίλει η
ποιότητα της ραφής συγκόλλησης.

► Μη ζεσταίνετε την απεσταλμένη μεμβράνη π.χ. σε λουτρό νερού ή παρόμοια.

Έχει κατασκευαστεί μόνο για θερμοκρασίες το μέγιστο 60°C.

♦ Τραβήξτε έξω το επιθυμητό μήκος της μεμβράνης κάτω από τη γραμμή

οδήγησης της διάταξης κοπής .

♦ Πιέστε κάτω τη διάταξη κοπής και προχωρήστε προς τα αριστερά ή

δεξιά πάνω από το πλάτος της σακούλας. Λαμβάνετε μια καθαρή κοπή
με ίσια κομμένες γωνίες.

♦ Ανοίξτε το κάλυμμα της συσκευής, πιέζοντας προς τα επάνω τις απασφαλίσεις

καλύμματος .

♦ Τοποθετήστε ένα άνοιγμα σακούλας επάνω στo σύρμα συγκόλλησης .

Για να στερεωθεί η σακούλα και να μη γλιστρήσει, τοποθετήστε το άκρο της
σακούλας κάτω από το στόμιο αναρρόφησης . Μπορείτε να σηκώσετε λίγο
το τεμάχιο σύνδεσης για αυτή την εργασία. Η σακούλα πρέπει να προεξέχει
έως τις επισημασμένες σημάνσεις στη συσκευή με την ένδειξη „Seal“.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

►

Το άνοιγμα σακούλας πρέπει να είναι ίσιο επάνω στo σύρμα συγκόλλησης .
Αλλιώς η συγκόλληση δε λειτουργεί σωστά.

♦ Κλείστε το κάλυμμα συσκευής και πιέστε με τα δύο χέρια το πλήκτρο σφράγι-

σης . Η λυχνία ένδειξης ανάβει.

♦ Κρατήστε πιεσμένο το πλήκτρο σφράγισης τόσο, έως ότου σβήσει πάλι

η λυχνία ένδειξης

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ

Εάν η λυχνία έvδειξης δε σβήσει το αργότερο μετά από
10 δευτερόλεπτα, υπάρχει ένα ελάττωμα στη συσκευή!

► Τραβήξτε αμέσως το βύσμα από την πρίζα δικτύου. Μη δοκιμάσετε να

επισκευάσετε οι ίδιοι τη συσκευή. Απευθυνθείτε στο τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης
πελατών.

♦ Ανοίξτε το κάλυμμα συσκευής και αφαιρέστε τη σακούλα. Αυτή έχει τώρα

σφραγιστεί μόνο από το ένα άκρο.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

Εξασφαλίστε ότι η ραφή συγκόλλησης είναι σωστή. Μια σωστή ραφή

►

συγκόλλησης πρέπει να έχει τη μορφή λείας, ίσιας λωρίδας χωρίς πτυχές.

♦ Γεμίστε τη σακούλα. Πρέπει να αφήσετε ελεύθερα τουλάχιστο 6 εκ.της σα-

κούλας έως την ακμή συγκόλλησης.

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ

Γεμίστε τη σακούλα έτσι ώστε σε καμία περίπτωση να μην εκρεύσουν

►

υπολείμματα τροφίμων ή υγρά κατά τη σφράγιση και να μη μπορούν να
φτάσουν στη συσκευή.

♦ Εάν δε θέλετε να δημιουργήσετε κενό στη σακούλα, συγκολλήστε την άλλη

ανοιχτή πλευρά.

Δημιουργία κενού στη σωληνοειδή μεμβράνη

Κατά τη συγκόλληση μπορείτε επίσης να απορροφήσετε τον αέρα από τη σακούλα
(δημιουργία κενού):

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ

Μη δημιουργείτε κενό σε σακούλες στις οποίες υπάρχουν υγρά. Αυτά

►

φτάνουν στη συνέχεια στη συσκευή και την καταστρέφουν.

♦ Βγάλτε το ανοιχτό άκρο της σακούλας γύρω από το στόμιο αναρρόφησης .

Μπορείτε να σηκώσετε λίγο το στόμιο αναρρόφησης για αυτή την εργασία.
Η σακούλα πρέπει τότε να προεξέχει έως τις επισημασμένες σημάνσεις στη
συσκευή με την ένδειξη „Vacuum“.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

Το άνοιγμα σακούλας πρέπει να είναι ίσιο επάνω στο στόμιο αναρρόφη-

σης και στο σύρμα συγκόλλησης . Αλλιώς η δημιουργία κενού και
η συγκόλληση δε λειτουργούν σωστά.

♦ Κλείστε το κάλυμμα συσκευής και πιέστε το και στις δύο πλευρές με τα δύο

χέρια με δύναμη προς τα κάτω. Μην πιέζετε τότε στο πλήκτρο σφράγισης

. Ο αέρας απορροφάται τώρα από τη σακούλα.

♦ Μόλις απορροφηθεί ο αέρας από τη σακούλα, πατήστε και κρατήστε με τα

► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε επιθετικά ή τριβικά καθαριστικά μέσα. Αυτά μπορεί να

προκαλέσουν διάβρωση στην επιφάνεια περιβλήματος.

► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε σκληρά ή αιχμηρά αντικείμενα για να απομακρύνετε

υπολείμματα κόλλας από το σύρμα συγκόλλησης . Αλλιώς μπορεί το
σύρμα συγκόλλησης ή η μόνωση να χαλάσουν.

Καθαρισμός συσκευής

♦ Καθαρίζετε την επιφάνεια περιβλήματος με ένα ελαφρώς νωπό πανί και με

ένα ήπιο απορρυπαντικό.

♦ Απομακρύνετε υπολείμματα κόλλας από το σύρμα συγκόλλησης προσε-

κτικά με τα νύχια σας.

Καθαρισμός του δοχείου συγκέντρωσης

Όταν κατά τη δημιουργία κενού έχουν αναρροφηθεί κατά λάθος υπολείμματα
τροφίμων, το δοχείο συγκέντρωσης προστατεύει τη συσκευή από ζημιές.
Καθαρίζετε το δοχείο συγκέντρωσης , μόλις αντιληφθείτε ορατές ακαθαρσίες:

♦ Ανοίξτε το κάλυμμα συσκευής και σηκώστε το στόμιο αναρρόφησης .
♦ Τραβήξτε το δοχείο συγκέντρωσης στις πλευρικές λαβές προσεκτικά έξω

από τη συσκευή.

♦ Καθαρίστε το σε χλιαρό νερό πλύσης και αφήστε το στη συνέχεια να στεγνώσει

καλά.

♦ Τοποθετήστε πάλι το δοχείο συγκέντρωσης και κατεβάστε το στόμιο

αναρρόφησης κάτω.

Αποθήκευση

Η συσκευή έχει μια ενσωματωμένη διάταξη τύλιξης καλωδίου στην κάτω πλευρά
του περιβλήματος, στην οποία μπορείτε να τυλίξετε το καλώδιο σε περίπτωση
μη χρήσης. Έτσι το καλώδιο δικτύου δεν μπορεί να μαγκωθεί, να βρωμίσει ή να
αποτελέσει πηγή κινδύνων εάν κρέμεται.

♦ Αποθηκεύετε τη συσκευή σε έναν καθαρό, στεγνό χώρο χωρίς απευθείας

ηλιακή ακτινοβολία.

Dieses Gerät ist ausschließlich für das gelegentliche Einschweißen und
Vakuumieren von Lebensmitteln in haushaltsüblichen Mengen und nur im privaten
Hausgebrauch vorgesehen. Dieses Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen oder
industriellen Einsatz und nicht für den Dauereinsatz bestimmt.

Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungs­gemäß. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer
Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt allein der Benutzer.

Sicherheit

In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Sicherheitshinweise im Umgang mit dem Gerät.
Dieses Gerät entspricht den vorgeschriebenen Sicherheitsbestimmungen.
Ein unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann zu Personen- und Sachschäden führen.

Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise

Beachten Sie für einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät die folgenden
Sicherheitshinweise:

■ Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung auf äußere sichtbare

Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes Gerät nicht in Betrieb. Es besteht
Stromschlaggefahr.

■ Lassen Sie Reparaturen am Gerät nur von autorisierten Fachbetrieben oder

dem Kundenservice durchführen. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können
Verletzungsgefahren für den Benutzer entstehen oder das Gerät wird beschädigt.
Zudem erlischt der Garantieanspruch.

■ Bei Beschädigung des Netzkabels lassen Sie dieses von autorisiertem Fachper-

sonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
Ansonsten besteht Stromschlaggefahr!

■ Benutzen Sie das Gerät niemals mit einem fehlerhaftem Netzkabel. Es besteht

Stromschlaggefahr.

■ Benutzen Sie keine Verlängerungskabel oder Steckdosenleisten, die nicht den

erforderlichen Sicherheitsbestimmungen entsprechen. Stromschlaggefahr!

■ Die Steckdose muss leicht zugänglich sein, so dass das Netzkabel im notfalls

leicht abgezogen werden kann.

■ Das Gerät ist nicht für den Dauerbetrieb geeignet. Lassen Sie das Gerät nach

jedem Vakuumiervorgang min. 80 Sekunden abkühlen. Ansonsten kann das
Gerät irreparabel beschädigt werden!

■ Benutzen Sie keine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder ein separates Fernwirksystem,

um das Gerät zu betreiben.

■ Lassen Sie das Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt, wenn es betriebsbereit ist.

Ziehen Sie nach Gebrauch oder bei Arbeitsunterbrechungen stets den Netz­stecker aus der Steckdose, um versehentliches Einschalten zu vermeiden.

■ Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (einschließlich Kinder)

mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder
mangels Erfahrung und/oder mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn,

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoff e und

Anforderungen an den Aufstellort

Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes muss der Aufstellort
folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllen:

■ Bei Aufstellung des Gerätes das Gerät auf eine feste, fl ache und

waagerechte Unterlage stellen.

■ Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in einer heißen, nassen oder sehr feuchten

Umgebung oder in der Nähe von brennbarem Material.

■ Die Steckdose muss leicht zugänglich sein, so dass das Netzkabel notfalls

leicht abgezogen werden kann.

Elektrischer Anschluss

ACHTUNG

Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die Anschlussdaten

(Spannung und Frequenz) auf dem Typenschild mit denen Ihres Elektronetzes.
Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine Schäden am Gerät auftreten.

► Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Netzkabel des Gerätes unbeschädigt ist

und nicht über heiße Flächen und/oder scharfe Kanten verlegt wird.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel nicht straff gespannt oder geknickt

Bedienung und Betrieb

In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung und zum Betrieb
des Gerätes.

Schlauchfolie einlegen

♦ Öff nen Sie das Rollenablagefach und legen Sie eine Rolle Schlauchfolie ein.
♦ Klappen Sie die Führungsschiene der Schneidvorrichtung nach hinten

auf und ziehen Sie ein Stück Schlauchfolie zwischen der Führungsschiene
und dem Gerätedeckel hindurch.

♦ Schließen Sie das Rollenablagefach und klappen die Führungsschiene

der Schneidvorrichtung wieder herunter.

Schlauchfolie verschweißen

ACHTUNG

Benutzen Sie zum Verschweißen nur Folie aus PEHD (Polyethylen high

►

density (hohe Dichte)) oder PE-LD (Polyethylen low density (niedrige Dichte)).

► Die Folienstärke muss 30 - 50 μ (0,03 - 0,05 mm) betragen. Ansonsten

wird die Schweißnaht nicht dicht und das Gerät kann beschädigt werden.
Sie erkennen Folien dieser Art an den Angaben auf der Verpackung. Je
nach Art und Stärke der Folie variiert die Qualität der Schweißnaht.

► Erhitzen Sie die mitgelieferte Folie nicht, z.B. im Wasserbad o.ä.. Sie ist nur

für Temperaturen bis max. 60°C ausgelegt.

♦ Ziehen Sie die gewünschte Länge der Folie unter der Führungsschiene

der Schneidvorrichtung hervor.

♦ Drücken Sie die Schneidvorrichtung herunter und fahren Sie nach links

oder rechts über die Beutelbreite. Sie erhalten einen sauberen Schnitt mit
gerade geschnittenen Ecken.

♦ Öff nen Sie den Gerätedeckel, indem Sie die Deckelentriegelungen nach

oben drücken.

♦ Legen Sie eine Beutelöff nung auf den Schweißdraht . Damit der Beutel

fi xiert ist und nicht verrutscht, legen Sie das Ende des Beutels unter den
Absaugstutzen
bis zu den mit „Seal“ gekennzeichneten Markierungen im Gerät ragen.

HINWEIS

►

Die Beutelöff nung muss glatt auf dem Schweißdraht liegen. Ansonsten
funktioniert das Verschweißen nicht richtig.

♦ Schließen Sie den Gerätedeckel und drücken Sie mit beiden Händen die

Wenn die Indikationsleuchte nach spätestens 10 Sekunden
nicht erlischt, liegt ein Defekt des Gerätes vor!

► Ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose. Versuchen Sie

nicht, das Gerät selber zu reparieren. Wenden Sie sich an den Kunden­dienst.

♦ Öff nen Sie den Gerätedeckel und entnehmen Sie den Beutel. Dieser ist nun

an einem Ende verschweißt.

HINWEIS

Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Schweißnaht ordnungsgemäß ist. Eine korrekte

Schweißnaht soll ein glatter, gerader Streifen ohne Falten sein.

♦ Befü llen Sie den Beutel. Sie müssen mindestens 6 cm Beutel bis zur

verschweißenden Kante frei lassen.

ACHTUNG

Befüllen Sie den Beutel so, dass auf keinen Fall Lebensmittelreste oder

Flüssigkeiten beim Verschweißen herauslaufen und in das Gerät gelangen
können.

♦ Wenn Sie den Beutel nicht vakuumieren wollen, verschweißen Sie nun die

andere off ene Seite.

ACHTUNG

Vakuumieren Sie keine Beutel, in denen sich Flüssigkeiten befi nden. Diese

gelangen dann in das Gerät und beschädigen dieses.

♦ Stülpen Sie das off ene Ende des Beutels rund um den Absaugstutzen .

Diesen können Sie dafür leicht anheben. Der Beutel muss dabei bis zu den
mit „Vacuum“ gekennzeichneten Markierungen im Gerät ragen.

♦ Schließen Sie den Gerätedeckel und drücken Sie ihn an beiden Seiten mit

beiden Händen kräftig herunter. Drücken Sie dabei nicht auf die Versiege-
lungstaste . Die Luft wird nun aus dem Beutel gesaugt.

♦ Sobald die Luft aus dem Beutel gesaugt wurde, drücken und halten Sie mit

beiden Händen die Versiegelungstaste , wie zuvor beschrieben, um den
Beutel zu verschweißen. Das Vakuumieren stoppt nicht automatisch, sobald
die Luft abgesaugt wurde!

Reinigung

GEFAHR

Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Strom!

► Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie mit der Reinigung

beginnen.

► Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät

eindringt.

ACHTUNG

Mögliche Beschädigung des Gerätes.

► Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel, da

diese die Gehäuseoberfl äche angreifen können.

► Verwenden Sie keine harten oder scharfen Gegenstände, um die

Klebereste vom Schweißdraht zu entfernen. Andernfalls können der
Schweißdraht oder die Isolierung beschädigt werden.

Gerät reinigen

♦ Reinigen Sie die Gehäuseberfl äche mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch und einem

milden Spülmittel.

♦ Entfernen Sie Klebereste vom Schweißdraht vorsichtig mit dem

Fingernagel.

Wenn beim Vakuumieren versehentlich Lebensmittelreste angesaugt werden,

♦ Öff nen Sie den Gerätedeckel und stellen Sie den Absaugstutzen auf.
♦ Ziehen Sie den Auff angbehälter an den seitlichen Griff en vorsichtig aus

♦ Reinigen Sie ihn in lauwarmem Spülwasser und lassen Sie ihn anschließend

gut trocknen.

♦ Setzen Sie den Auff angbehälter wieder ein und klappen Sie den

Absaugstutzen herunter.

Aufbewahrung

Das Gerät hat eine integrierte Kabelaufwicklung an der Gehäuseunterseite, auf
die Sie das Netzkabel bei Nichtgebrauch aufwickeln können. Dadurch vermei­den Sie, dass das Netzkabel eingeklemmt, verschmutzt oder durch das lose
Herabhängen zur Gefahrenquelle wird.

♦ Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem sauberen, trockenen Ort ohne direkte

Sonneneinstrahlung.

Entsorgung

Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2002/96/EC
