2. Confirmation key
When the desired option is highlighted, press this key to select or
activate the corresponding function.
3. Main Menu key
Press this key to turn to the main menu.
4. NIBP start/stop key
• When NIBP is being measured in process, press this key to stop the
NIBP measurement.
• When NIBP is not being measured idle, press this key to start an NIBP
measurement.

5. Down key
Press this key to move down along the column of menu options or
configuration choices.
6. Return key
• Press this key to return to the previous menu and save the settings.
• Press this key to switch between two main screens.
7. Up key
Press this key to move up along the column of menu options or
configuration choices.
8. Power On/Off key
• When BP10 is powered off, press this key to turn BP10 on.
• When BP10 is powered on, press and hold this key to display the
power off confirmation menu.
• If the screen display is on, press this key to turn the display off.
9. MPAN (Mindray Patient Area Network) key
• When BP10 is disconnected from the MPAN, press this key to begin the
bluetooth pairing process.
• When BP10 is connected with the MPAN, press this key to unpair any
connected bluetooth devices.
10. NIBP cuff connector
Connect the NIBP hose.

1. Patient category
The current patient category setting is shown in white.
2. Device name
3. Date and time
This area displays the date and time.
4. Audio off symbol
The audio off symbol displays when the technical audio is turned off.
5. MPAN (Mindray Patient Area Network) symbol
The MPAN symbol displays when the MPAN is turned on.
6. Battery symbol
This symbol indicates the battery charge status.
7. Operation mode
8. NIBP measurement area
This area shows the current values or measurement list.
• When the NIBP is measuring, this area shows the real-time
measurement values.
• When more than 30 seconds elapses after an NIBP measurement ends,
this area automatically displays the measurement list.
9. Message area
The message area shares the same position as patient category and
operation mode.

Patient Info
1. Heading: displays the current menu title.
2. Highlighted bar: indicates the current cursor position.
3. Scroll bar: shows the current position in a menu.
4. Main body: contains menu options and other controls to configure and
operate the device.
• accesses a submenu to reveal more options or information.
• indicates that a password is required.

SELECT AND CONFIGURE AN OPTION
1. Use the and keys to move the highlighted bar to an
appropriate position.
2. Press the key to select the option where the highlighted bar
locates.
If an option can be configured, the choice place will have up and down
arrows, as indicated in the following figure.

1. Use the and keys to scroll the choices.
2. Press the key to select the appropriate choice when it displays.
3. Press the key to save the setting.
4. Press the key to exit the menu.
PATIENT SETUP
Adjust Patient Category
The Patient Info menu allows the clinician to adjust the patient category.
Note: Ensure the patient category selection is appropriate for the patient
before taking a measurement.
To adjust the patient category:
1. Press the key to enter the main menu
2. Select Patient Info
3. Select Patient Category to select the patient category
4. Select to confirm that the patient category
5. Press the key to exit the menu
Note: Adjusting patient category restores the BP10 to the default (preset)
settings but does not clear patient information.

Discharge
Discharging the patient will stop monitoring, clear patient information, and
restore patient category and default (preset) settings at the BP10.
A patient can be discharged by selecting the Discharge Patient in the main
menu.
STANDBY
Enter Standby
Placing a device into Standby:
• Stops all NIBP measurements.
• Clears all current technical messages.
• Displays Standby and remaining battery charge icon on the screen.
To enter the Standby mode:
1. Press the key to enter the main menu
2. Select Standby
3. Select to confirm the selection
Exit Standby
Exiting a device from Standby:
• Restores monitoring.
• Resumes the ability to provide the technical messages.
To exit the Standby mode:
Press any hard key to exit Standby mode.
Note: If a NIBP measurement is enabled, it should be resumed by pressing
the key.

NIBP MEASUREMENT
Measurement Mode
Configure the measurement mode by entering Mode in the main menu.
Mode Description
Manual Take one measurement by a manual initiation.
Automatic The measurements are automatically taken on the
configured interval.
Sequence The measurements are automatically taken in the user-
defined sequence, which allow you to set different
measurements in consecutive five phases.
Continuous The measurements are taken one after another in a five-
minute period.
Start and Stop Measurements

PAIRING A BP10 WITH TD60/TM80
The BP10 can be paired with a TD60/TM80. After pairing, TD60/TM80 can
display the NIBP related data and messages, and enable various BP10
functions.

(046-007060-00) for details on the paring process.

SWITCH ON/OFF THE AUDIO
The clinician is able to switch on/off the technical message and keypad
audio on the BP10.
To switch on/off the audio:
1. Press to enter the main menu
2. Select Audio Volume
3. Select On or Off respectively for the Prompt Volume or Keypad
Volume option.
4. Press the key to save the setting and exit the menu
PARAMETER COLOR
The BP10 provides the ability to adjust the parameter's numeric color.
To adjust the parameter's color at the BP10:
1. Press to enter the main menu
2. Select System
3. Select NIBP Color
CLEAN/DISINFECT THE BP10
Clean the BP10
Clean your equipment on a regular basis. Before cleaning the equipment,
consult your hospital’s regulations for cleaning the equipment.
Warning: Never allow the cleaning solutions to spill or enter the connector
and battery compartment.
Before cleaning your BP10, do the following preparations:
• Install the battery pack or battery tray to firmly close the battery
compartment.
• Insert the NIBP hose into the NIBP cuff connector.

Note: For equipment with the symbol , all the listed cleaning and
disinfecting agents are available for use. For equipment without the symbol

To clean the equipment:
1. Shut down the device.
2. Clean the display screen with wipes or a soft cloth moistened with one
of the cleaning agents listed in the table above.
3. Clean the exterior surface of the BP10 main unit and lithium-ion
battery pack with wipes or a soft cloth moistened with one of the
cleaning agents listed in the table above.
4. Wipe off all the residue with a dry cloth.
5. Dry your equipment in a ventilated, cool place.
Disinfect the BP10
Disinfect your equipment as required in your hospital’s servicing schedule.
Cleaning the equipment before disinfecting is recommended.

To clean and disinfect the reusable NIBP cuff, refer to the instructions for use
delivered with the accessory.
STERILIZATION
Sterilization is not recommended for this equipment, related products,
accessories or supplies unless otherwise indicated in the Operating
Instructions that accompany the product, accessories or supplies.
