Instructions for Use
Description
IPS Object Fix Putty and IPS Object Fix Flow are auxiliary firing pastes
to support all-ceramic restorations during the firing and/or
crystallization procedure.The pastes are used to stabilize and secure
the corresponding restoration on the firing tray.The pastes are
distinguished by their viscosities and can be used according to
personal preference. Given their consistency, IPS Object Fix Putty /
Flow are easy to apply, as well as easy to remove after the firing
procedure.
Indication
– Stabilization of IPS e.max®CAD restorations during crystallization
directly on the IPS e.max CAD Crystallization Tray or on the
IPS e.max CAD Crystallization Pins.
– Securing of IPS Empress®restorations on metal pins during the
firing procedure.
Contraindication
– IPS Object Fix Putty / Flow cannot be used for the sintering
procedure of zirconium oxide frameworks.

The failure to observe the stipulated application steps may lead to
failure.
Application
IPS e.max CAD LT, fully anatomical
1. Before crystallization, always clean the restorations with ultrasound in a water bath and/or steam jet. Do not blast with Al
polishing beads.
2. Select the largest possible IPS e.max CAD Crystallization Pin (S,M,
L) that best "fills" the inside of the restoration.
3. Fill the inside of crowns with IPS Object
Fix Putty / Flow up to the restoration
margin.
4. Close syringes immediately after use to
prevent the pastes from drying out.
5. Press the selected IPS e.max CAD
Crystallization Pin deeply into the
Putty / Flow material so that it is adequately secured.
6. Smooth out displaced Putty / Flow using a plastic spatula (e.g.
®
) so that the pin is securely in place and the
OptraSculpt
restoration margins optimally supported.

7. Clean off any possible residue adhering to the outer surface of the
restoration with a brush or cotton swab dampened with water
and dry.
8. Depending on the clinical situation, characterize and glaze the
restoration using IPS e.max CAD Crystall./Shades, Stains, and
Glaze.
9. For the combination firing (crystallization and glaze firing), place
the restoration on the IPS e.max CAD Crystallization Tray and fire
using the stipulated parameters.
10. After crystallization, allow the restoration to cool to room
temperature and remove it from the hardened IPS Object Fix Putty/
Flow.
11. Remove any adhering residue with ultrasound in a water bath or
steam jet. Do not blast with Al
IPS e.max CAD LT, partially reduced, IPS e.max CAD MO

1. Completely fill the inside of the crowns
with IPS Object Fix Putty / Flow prior to
crystallization and even allow some
excess.
2. Close syringes immediately after use to
prevent the pastes from drying out.
3. Place the restorations filled and
supported with IPS Object Fix Putty / Flow on the IPS e.max CAD
Crystallization Tray. Do not use any other firing trays.
4. After crystallization, allow the restoration to cool to room
temperature and remove it from the hardened IPS Object Fix Putty/
Flow.
5. Remove any adhering residue with ultrasound in a water bath or
steam jet. Do not blast with Al
IPS Empress®Esthetic, IPS Empress CAD
1. Remove the characterized and/or
veneered restorations from the die.
2. Apply a small amount of IPS Object Fix
Putty / Flow to the inner side of the
restoration and secure the restoration
on the firing pin (metal) of the honeycombed firing tray.
3. As an alternative, IPS Object Fix Putty /
Flow can also be applied on the metal pin and the restoration
placed on the pin.
4. Close syringes immediately after use to prevent the pastes from
drying out.
5. After the firing procedure, allow the restoration to cool to room
temperature and remove it from the hardened IPS Object Fix Putty/
Flow.
6. Remove any adhering residue with ultrasound in a water bath or
steam jet. Do not blast with Al

Storage
– Protect from direct sunlight and temperatures over 30 °C / 86 °F.
– Close syringes immediately after use.
– Remove IPS Object Fix Putty / Flow only from the aluminium bag
immediately before the first application.
– Keep out of the reach of children.
– Do not use the product after the indicated date of expiration.
Application tip
How can IPS Object Fix Putty or Flow be prevented from drying
out in rooms with a relatively low humidity of less than 40%
(particularly during the winter season)?
The water-containing IPS Object Fix Putty and Flow pastes are packed
into the 100% tight aluminium bag. The air in the bag is saturated
with moisture. Consequently, no further moisture can escape from the
syringe.
In order to avoid a moisture loss in the material even after dispensing
IPS Object Fix Putty or Flow from the syringe

– store the syringe – after removal from the aluminium bag –
resealable plastic bag (e.g. Minigrip) or container with a
moist atmosphere

Produktbeschreibung
IPS Object Fix Putty und IPS Object Fix Flow sind Brennhilfspasten zur
Unterstützung von Vollkeramik-Restaurationen während des Brennbzw. Kristallisationsvorgangs. Die Pasten dienen zur Stabilisierung und
Fixierung der jeweiligen Restauration auf dem Brenngutträger. Die
Pasten unterscheiden sich in ihren Viskositäten und können je nach
Vorliebe eingesetzt werden. Durch die Konsistenz lassen sich
IPS Object Fix Putty / Flow einfach applizieren und nach dem Brennvorgang problemlos entfernen.
Indikation
– Stabilisierung von IPS e.max®CAD Restaurationen während der
Kristallisation direkt auf dem IPS e.max CAD Crystallization Tray
oder auf den IPS e.max CAD Crystallization Pins.
– Fixierung von IPS Empress
während des Brennvorgangs.
Kontraindikation
– IPS Object Fix Putty / Flow kann nicht zur Sinterung von
Zirkoniumoxid-Gerüsten verwendet werden.

– Spritze unmittelbar nach Gebrauch wieder verschliessen.
– IPS Object Fix Putty / Flow erst direkt vor der Erstbenutzung dem
Alubeutel entnehmen.
– Darf nicht in die Hände von Kindern gelangen.
– Produkt nach Ablauf des Verfallsdatums nicht mehr verwenden.
Anwendungstipp IPS Object Fix Putty und Flow
Wie kann man in Räumen mit einer relativ geringen Luftfeuchtigkeit von unter 40% (betrifft vor allem die Wintermonate)

Die Wasser enthaltenden IPS Object Fix Putty und Flow Pasten werden
aufwändig in dem 100% dichten Aluminiumbeutel verpackt, so dass
sich die im Beutel enthaltene Luft mit Feuchtigkeit sättigt und somit
aus der Spritze keine weitere Feuchtigkeit entweichen kann.
Um auch nach der Entnahme von IPS Object Fix Putty oder Flow aus
der Spritze einen Feuchtigkeitsverlust im Material zu verhindern
sofort nach jeder Materialentnahme fest verschliessen

Description
IPS Object Fix Putty et IPS Object Fix Flow sont des pâtes réfractaires
pour soutenir les restaurations tout céramique durant la cuisson et/ou
la cristallisation.
