Hitachi introduces enhancements to the Travelstar C4K60 series, a 4200 rpm, 1.8-inch hard disk drive designed to meet the needs of ultra-portable electronic devices. The new Travelstar C4K60, at 30GB/platter, offers a full range of capacities up to 60GB. This series of drives delivers both 1 and 2-disk IDE models for traditional 50-pin connections, and 1-disk models designed with a ZIF connector specifically for CE devices. Design enhancements include a smaller footprint on the 1-disk ZIF connector models, and new larger capacities on the 2-disk IDE models, exceptional shock tolerance, whisper-quiet acoustics, and low power consumption. This winning set of characteristics makes the Travelstar C4K60 series the perfect solution for your storage-intensive on-the-go devices.
