Precautions for Connection and Installation
1. Request of machine tool cabinet
The machine tool cabinet of installation system and drive unit should be adopted a
full-enclosed and dust-proof design, the temperature difference inside or outside the cabinet,
which it cannot more than 10℃. A thermal exchange system should be installed if it is not
satisfied of this condition. The ambient temperature of system cannot more than 45℃. It is very
necessary to prevent the liquid such as lubrication or coolant which enters into the parts of
system.
2. System installation position:
The system is control core for a whole CNC machine tool, which must be previously
considered of the installation position of the lowest temperature rise and the least
electromagnetic radiation interruption. A high-power spindle drive uint and a feedrate drive unit
are produced large heat, and they should be installed on the top place as much as possible
when they are being operated. A distance of the system from I/O unit should be more than
100mm, which they should be installed on the bottom place as follows. Refer to the system
installation mechanical dimension figure in the appendix for details.

3. The system is being supplied by isolation transformer.
4. Grounding
! A machine tool cabinet must be set as protective grounding which its continuity
must conform with the request of GB5226.1-2002. Correct grounding is an essential condition
for steady system operation, and the grounding wire of each system element cannot be
serially connected each other.

5. Layout
A weak-current signal wiring and control wiring should be aparted from a place where a
strong electromagnitic interruption when the wiring is applied. The layout should be straightened
as much as possible, and it can not be circled as a ring, or the interfering signal may occur.
6. Barrage jamming/ Suppressive interference
The RC circuit is parallel connection between two ends of AC wire; the sensibility load
should be closed to the RC circuit as much as possible when the circuit is installed. The fly-wheel
diode is parallel connection in reversing between two ends of AC loop; and the surge absorber is
parallel connection at the end of AC motor winding.
