Umístit můžete až čtyři položky velikosti E nebo L, případně dvě položky velikosti 2L nebo pohlednice. Části umístěné do šrafované oblasti nelze skenovat.

Poznámka

•Funkce korekce zkosení automaticky kompenzuje polohu položek pootočených až do úhlu přibližně 10 stupňů. Šikmo umístěné fotografie s hranou dlouhou přibližně 18 cm (7,1 palců) nebo delší nelze opravit.

•Fotografie, které mají nepravidelný nebo jiný než obdélníkový tvar (například fotografie vystřižené v různých tvarech), se nemusí naskenovat správně.

•Před čištěním zařízení odpojte kabel USB od počítače.

•K čištění nepoužívejte papírové kapesníky, papírové utěrky, hrubé tkaniny nebo podobné materiály, aby nedošlo k poškrábání povrchu.

•Nikdy nepoužívejte alkohol, ředidlo, benzen atd. Externí plocha by se mohla pokřivit, ztratit barvu nebo rozpustit.

Suchým měkkým hadříkem očistěte sklo skeneru (A), vnitřní stranu krytu dokumentu (bílý list) (B) a exteriér

(C). Zašlou špínu očistěte dostatečně vyždímaným vlhkým hadříkem a následnou vlhkost odstraňte měkkou suchou látkou. Všechny částice nečistot důkladně otřete (obzvláště ze skleněné plochy).

Důležité

•Na kryt dokumentu ani na sklo skeneru netlačte příliš velkou silou. Sklo by mohlo prasknout a způsobit úraz.

•Vlhkost důkladně otřete. Skenování na vlhkém skle skeneru nebo s vlhkým krytem dokumentu může mít vliv na kvalitu obrazu.

•Zajistěte, aby konektory ani kovové části na zadní straně zařízení nepřišly do kontaktu s vodou. Pokud se na tyto části dostane vlhkost, setřete ji suchým hadříkem.

•Zařízení neotírejte vlhkou látkou, která není dostatečně vyždímaná, ani na ně přímo nestříkejte vodu nebo čisticí prostředek. Vlhkost by mohla proniknout do zařízení, přilnout na vnitřní stranu skla skeneru nebo snímač a znehodnotit tak obraz nebo způsobit poškození.

Chcete-li zamezit nebezpečí požáru a úrazu elektrickým proudem, používejte skener v provozním prostředí předepsaném příručkou online.

•Neumisťujte skener do úzkých skříněk ani na koberec s dlouhým vlasem a nezakrývejte jej látkou. V opačném případě by skener generoval teplo, které by mohlo způsobit škodu.

•Zařízení neinstalujte v místech, kde dochází k prudkým výkyvům teplot. Nepřenášejte skener z míst s nízkou teplotou do míst s vysokou teplotou. Kondenzace by mohla způsobit chyby obrazu. Před použitím ponechte skeneru dostatek času, aby se přizpůsobil novým podmínkám.

•Neumisťujte skener do míst s vysokou vlhkostí, do míst vystavených přímému slunečnímu svitu, do míst s vysokou teplotou a do míst blízko zdrojů otevřeného ohně. Mohlo by dojít k požáru nebo úrazu elektrickým proudem.

•Při instalaci ponechte kolem skeneru dostatek prostoru (přibližně 8 palců (20 cm)).

Napájení

•Při odpojování kabelu USB jej uchopte za zástrčku. Taháním za kabel může dojít k poškození vodičů a tím i k požáru nebo úrazu elektrickým proudem.

•Při zapojení či odpojení kabelu USB nevyvíjejte nadměrnou sílu.

•Kabel USB nepoškozujte ani neupravujte.

•Na kabel USB nepokládejte těžké předměty, netahejte za něj, příliš jej neohýbejte ani nezavazujte.

•Kabel USB nekruťte ani nesvazujte.

•Kabel USB zcela zasuňte do konektoru.

Práce kolem skeneru

•Kromě potřebných výjimek ponechte kryt dokumentu zavřený.

•Během skenování do skeneru nikdy nedávejte ruce ani prsty.

•Při přenášení skeneru jej pevně držte rukama na obou koncích.

•Na skener nepokládejte žádné předměty, zejména kancelářské sponky, svorky ani jiné kovové části či nádoby s alkoholem, ředidly nebo jinou hořlavou kapalinou.

•Před připojením skeneru k počítači vždy uvolněte zámek skeneru. Spuštěním skeneru v uzamknutém stavu dojde k poškození skeneru.

•Položíte-li tlustou knihu na skleněnou desku, netlačte na kryt dokumentu. Mohlo by dojít k prasknutí skleněné desky.

•Nepouštějte kryt dokumentů, dokud není zcela otevřen nebo zavřen.

•Na skleněnou desku nepokládejte předměty o hmotnosti větší než 2,0 kg (4,4 libry). Na kryt dokumentu ani skleněnou desku také netlačte nadměrnou silou (tj. více než 2,0 kg (4,4 libry)).

•Neupusťte na skener těžké knihy ani jiné předměty. Vyhněte se také nárazu do skleněné desky. Mohlo by dojít k prasknutí skleněné desky.
