smoothies in small quantities. This appliance is intended exclusively for use in domestic households.

All of the parts of this appliance that come
into contact with food are food-safe.
CO time
The CO time (continuous operation time) is the
amount of time an appliance can be operated
without the motor overheating and becoming
damaged. When the specified CO time has been
reached, the appliance must be switched off until
the motor has cooled down to room temperature.
What is a smoothie?
A smoothie is a so-called “whole-fruit drink”.
Smoothies contain processed whole fruits without
the peel and core. This gives rise to a creamy consistency. When preparing drinks there is no limit to
the possibilities: you can add yoghurt, crushed ice,
herbs or ice cream to your smoothies.

Safety instructions
DANGER – ELECTRIC SHOCK!
► The appliance must only be connected to correctly installed and
earthed mains power sockets. Ensure that the rating of the local
power supply corresponds with the details on the rating plate of the
appliance.
► Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or moist during
use. Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be crushed or
damaged.
► Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces.
► Do not perform any repairs on the appliance. All repairs must be
performed by our Customer Services or by qualified personnel.
► Remove the plug from the mains power socket when the appliance is
being cleaned or in the event of a fault. Switching the appliance off
is insufficient, since the appliance receives power for as long as the
plug is connected to the mains power socket.
► To avoid risks, have defective plugs and/or power cables replaced
immediately by qualified technicians or our Customer Service Department.
► The appliance and its connecting cable must be kept away from
children.
Never submerge the appliance in water or other liquids.

► Always disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply when
fitting or removing accessory parts. This will prevent unintentional
activation of the appliance.
► The appliance should always be disconnected from the mains when
not supervised and before assembly, disassembly or cleaning.

► Only use the original accessory parts for this appliance. Accessory
parts from other manufacturers may not be suitable, and this may
lead to risks!

or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they

appliance, and if they are aware of the potential risks.

ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Never fill the appliance with hard ingredients such as nuts, stalks,
large grains or seeds!
► Never fill the appliance with hot ingredients!
► Never use the appliance to crush ice cubes unless there is liquid in
the blender jug!
Before first use
1) Remove all of the parts from the box and
remove the packaging material and any
protective film.
2) Clean all components as described in Chapter
“Cleaning and care”. Ensure that all parts are
completely dry.
Preparing ingredients
■ Remove all peel, such as orange peel or kiwi
skin, from the fruit.
■ Remove large pips and stones, such as found in
peaches, from the fruits.
■ Cut the fruit into small pieces (approx. 1 - 2 cm).
■ Chop herbs or salads into small pieces.
HINWEIS
► You can also crush ice cubes with this appli-
ance (max 50 g/approx. 2–4 ice cubes).
However, only add the whole ice cubes to the
blender jug if other liquids are also to be
processed in it. Press the start button
in
a pulsating manner when you process whole
ice cubes. Generally, however, we recommend
that you use already crushed ice in this device.
Operating the appliance
1) Place the base on a clean and level surface.
2) Fill the prepared ingredients in the blender jug .
Always add liquid ingredients first and then the
more solid ingredients such as the fruit and/or
crushed ice.
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
► Never fill the blender jug with ingredients up
to more than the MAX marking! The appliance
will not be able to process the ingredients!
3) Place the blade holder on the blender
jug so that the blade extends into the
blender jug , and screw the blade holder
firmly in place.
4) Now place the blade holder along with the
attached blender jug onto the base such
that the arrow on the base is pointing to
the
symbol on the blade holder .
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
► To turn the blade holder , only hold the
blade holder and never try to turn the
blender jug ! Otherwise the blender jug
will detach and the ingredients will spill out!
5) Turn the blade holder so that the arrow on
the base points to the
symbol on the
blade holder . The blade holder must
audibly click into place so that it sits firmly on
the base .
6) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
7) Press and hold the start button until the
smoothie has reached the desired consistency!

NOTE
► If the ingredients do not mix properly, it may
be necessary to lift up the appliance and
shake it a little. When doing so, hold the
blade holder together with the blender
jug and the base so that they do not
come apart.
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
► Do not operate the appliance for longer than
1 minute in one session. The appliance will
overheat! After using for 1 minute, allow the
appliance to cool down completely.
8) When the smoothie is ready, turn the blade
holder until the arrow on the base points
to the
symbol on the blade holder and
remove the blade holder with the attached
blender jug .
9) Turn the blender jug over and unscrew the
blade holder .
10) Screw the lid off the blender jug . You
can drink the smoothie through the drinking
opening on the lid .
You can now prepare a second smoothie using
the second blender jug .
Cleaning and care
DANGER – ELECTRIC SHOCK!
► Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect
the plug from the mains power socket!
Risk of electric shock!
NEVER submerse the base in water or
other fluids!
■ It is best to clean the appliance directly after use.
This makes food residues easier to remove.
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
► Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning
materials. These could damage the surface
of the appliance!
■ Wipe the base with a moist cloth. For stubborn
soiling use a mild detergent on the cloth.
Wipe off any detergent residue with a cloth
moistened with clean water.
■
Dismantle the blade holder in order to clean
it thoroughly:
– Press on the underside of the blade holder
against the small grey plate which protrudes through the blade holder .
– You can now remove the sealing ring
and the plastic ring from the blade
holder .
■ Clean the blender jug , the blade holder
with blade , the sealing ring and the
plastic ring and lid in warm with a mild
washing-up liquid. Afterwards, rinse all parts
with clean water so that no detergent residues
remain.

NOTE
If you clean the appliance directly after use, you
will usually achieve sufficiently hygienic cleaning
results for the blender jug and the blade
holder by using the following alternatives:
► Fill the blender jug with 400 ml of water
and add a few drops of mild detergent.
► Attach the blade holder and screw both
onto the base .
► Press the start button
a few times so
that the blade ploughs through the water.
► Afterwards, rinse the blender jug and the
blade holder with plenty of clear water
so that all detergent residues are removed.
■ After cleaning, dry all parts thoroughly.
■ Reassemble the blade holder :
– Place the plastic ring into the blade
holder so that the grey plate protrudes
through the slot in the blade holder .
– Place the sealing ring over it and press it
firmly into place.
If the sealing ring and the plastic ring are not
correctly fitted, the appliance will not start!
NOTE
► You can also clean the lid , the blender
jug and the blade holder with the
sealing ring and the plastic ring in
your dishwasher. If possible, place the parts
in the upper basket and ensure that none of
the parts can get stuck. Otherwise they might
deform.
Storage
■ Store the cleaned appliance in a clean, dust-free
and dry location.

Recipes
Pineapple-spinach smoothie
Ingredients
100 g fresh baby spinach
75 ml water
2 pineapple rings
♦ Prepare the pineapple and spinach as de-
scribed in the Chapter “Preparing ingredients”.
♦ Add the water followed by the pineapple and
the spinach to the blender jug and close this
with the blade holder .
♦ Blend everything until all of the ingredients are
thoroughly pureed and mixed.
Romaine lettuce smoothie
Ingredients
3 leaves of romaine lettuce
75 ml water
1/2 banana
1/2 mango
1/2 orange
♦ Prepare the fruits as described in the Chapter
“Preparing ingredients”.
♦ Remove the stem from the romain lettuce leaves
and chop up the leaves a little.
♦ Add the water followed by the fruit and the
lettuce to the blender jug and close this
with the blade holder .
♦ Blend everything until all of the ingredients are
thoroughly pureed and mixed.

Banana-kiwi smoothie
Ingredients
200 ml orange juice (freshly pressed)
1 kiwi
1/2 banana
♦ Prepare the fruits as described in the Chapter
“Preparing ingredients”.
♦ Add the orange juice followed by the fruit to
the blender jug and close this with the blade
holder .
♦ Blend everything until all of the ingredients are
thoroughly pureed and mixed.
Carrot greens and spinach smoothie
Ingredients
150 ml water
15 g fresh baby spinach
15 g carrot greens
1/2 orange
50 g mango flesh
1/2 banana
1 tablespoon of linseed oil
♦ Prepare the fruits as described in the Chapter
“Preparing ingredients”.
♦ Chop the carrot greens and the spinach.
♦ Add the water followed by the fruit, the spinach
and the carrot greens to the blender jug and
close this with the blade holder .
♦ Blend everything until all of the ingredients are
thoroughly pureed and mixed.
Tropical smoothie
Ingredients
100 g coconut milk
2 pineapple rings
1 kiwi
1/2 banana
♦ Prepare the fruits as described in the Chapter
“Preparing ingredients”.
♦ Add the coconut milk followed by the fruit to
the blender jug and close this with the blade
holder .
♦ Blend everything until all of the ingredients are
thoroughly pureed and mixed.
Berry-vanilla smoothie
Ingredients
100 ml apple juice
150 g berries (deep frozen, e.g. strawberries,
raspberries, blueberries, etc.)
100 g vanilla yoghurt
♦ Add the apple juice and vanilla yoghurt followed
by the berries to the blender jug and close
this with the blade holder .
♦ Blend everything until all of the ingredients are
thoroughly pureed and mixed.

Pineapple and berry smoothie
Ingredients
50 ml orange juice
50 ml pineapple juice
100 g berries (deep frozen, e.g. strawberries,
raspberries, blueberries, etc.)
1 pineapple ring
100 g natural yoghurt
♦ Prepare the pineapple as described in the
Chapter “Preparing ingredients”.
♦ Add the orange juice, the pineapple juice and
the natural yoghurt and then the berries and the
pineapple to the blender jug .
♦ Close this with the blade holder .
♦ Blend everything until all of the ingredients are
thoroughly pureed and mixed.

► These recipes are provided without any guaran-
tees. All ingredients and preparation information are guidelines. Enhance or change these
recipe suggestions in line with your own
experience or tastes.
Disposal
Under no circumstances should
you dispose of the appliance
in the normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the
provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU.
Dispose of the appliance via an approved disposal
company or your municipal waste facility. Please
observe the currently applicable regulations.
Please contact your waste disposal centre if you
are in any doubt.
The packaging is made from environ-
mentally-friendly material and can be
disposed of at your local recycling plant.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from
the date of purchase. If this product has any faults,
you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your
statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the
warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the
date of purchase. Please keep your original receipt
in a safe place. This document will be required as
proof of purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within
three years of the date of purchase of the product,
we will either repair or replace the product for you
at our discretion
. This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance and
the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written
description of the fault and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product
will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair
or replacement of a product does not signify the
beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for
defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs
effected under the warranty. This also applies to
replaced and repaired components. Any damage
and defects present at the time of purchase must
be reported immediately after unpacking
. Repairs
carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall
be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance
with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production
faults. The warranty does not extend to product parts
subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such
as switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made
of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been
damaged, improperly used or improperly maintained.
The directions in the operating instructions for the
product regarding proper use of the product are
to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that are
discouraged in the operating instructions or which
are warned against must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and
not for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be
deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling,
use of force and modifications/repairs which have
not been carried out by one of our authorised
Service centres.
Warranty claim procedure
To ensure quick processing of your case, please
observe the following instructions:
■ Please have the till receipt and the item number
(e.g. IAN 12345) available as proof of purchase.
■ You will find the item number on the type plate,
an engraving on the front page of the instructions
(bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the appliance.
■ If functional or other defects occur, please
contact the service department listed either by
telephone or by e-mail.
■ You can return a defective product to us free of
charge to the service address that will be provided
to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase (till receipt) and information about what
the defect is and when it occurred.

1) Tag alle dele ud af kassen, og fjern emballe-
ringsmaterialet og en eventuel beskyttelsesfolie.
2) Rengør alle dele som beskrevet i kapitlet "Ren-
gøring og vedligeholdelse". Kontrollér, at alle
dele er helt tørre.
Forberedelse af ingredienserne
■ Fjern skallerne på frugterne – f.eks. appelsin-
skaller eller skallen på kiwifrugter.
■ Fjern store kerner og sten fra frugterne som
f.eks. ferskensten.
■ Skær frugten i små stykker (ca. 1 - 2 cm).
■ Skær krydderurter eller salat i små stykker.
BEMÆRK
► Med dette produkt er det også muligt at
knuse isterninger (maks. 50 g/ ca. 2-4
isterninger). Hæld dog kun hele isterninger i
blenderskålen , hvis du samtidig bearbejder andre væsker. Tryk altid pulserende på
start-knappen
, hvis du vil knuse hele
isterninger. Vi anbefaler dog, at der anvendes
is, som allerede er knust, til dette produkt.
Betjening af produktet
1) Stil basisdelen på en ren og plan overflade.
2) Hæld de forberedte ingredienser i blenderskålen . Hæld altid først de flydende ingredienser
i og derefter de faste som f.eks. frugt eller
findelt is.

► Fyld aldrig flere ingredienser i end op til
MAX-markeringen på blenderskålen .
Ellers kan produktet ikke blande ingredienserne rigtigt!
3) Sæt knivholderen på blenderskålen , så
kniven når ned i blenderskålen , og skru
knivholderen fast.
4) Sæt nu knivholderen med den påskruede
blenderskål på basisdelen , så pilen på
basisdelen peger på symbolet
på
knivholderen .
OBS! MATERIELLE SKADER!
► Hold kun på knivholderen når knivholde-
ren skal drejes, og drej ikke på blenderskålen ! Ellers løsner blenderskålen sig,
og ingredienserne løber ud!
5) Drej derefter knivholderen , så pilen på
basisdelen peger mod symbolet
på
knivholderen . Det skal kunne mærkes, at
knivholderen klikker på plads, så den sidder
fast på basisdelen .
6) Sæt stikket i en stikkontakt.
7) Tryk på start-knappen
, og hold den
nede, indtil smoothien har fået den ønskede
konsistens!
