Introduction

Thank you for purchasing a SilverCrest product. The SilverCrest car spiral cable SSK 3 A1, hereafter referred to as spiral cable, serves as the extension cable of your power outlet and offers a flexible power supply in your car, regardless of where the power outlet is positioned. The spiral cable can be extended to a length of approx. 300cm.

Intended use

This spiral cable is not designed for commercial use or operation in a company, but solely for private purposes in cars, caravans or camping vehicles with 12V / 24V vehicle equipment. Any other use is not as intended.

This spiral cable meets all relevant norms and standards in conjunction with CE conformity. In the event of any modification to the spiral cable that was not approved by the manufacturer, compliance with these standards is no longer guaranteed. The manufacturer does not accept any liability for any resulting damage or faults in such cases.

Please observe the regulations and laws in the country of use.

Operating environment

The spiral cable (A) may be used only within a vehicle, and must not be used outdoors. It is not designed for use in environments with a high temperature or humidity, and must be kept free from dust. Operating temperatures and operating air humidity: -10°C to +45°C, max. 85% rel. air humidity.

DANGER! Ensure that

no direct heat sources (e.g. heating) can affect the spiral cable (A) because it may be damaged otherwise.

the spiral cable (A) is not exposed to direct sunlight or bright artificial light because it may be damaged otherwise.

no fire sources (e.g. burning candles) are placed on or near the spiral cable (A); there is a risk of fire.

no foreign objects penetrate the device because there is a risk of a short circuit.

contact with dripping water and splashes and corrosive liquids is prevented and the spiral cable (A) is never operated near water; in particular, it should never be immersed (do not place any objects filled with liquids, e.g. vases or drinks, on or near the spiral cable (A); there is a risk of fire or a short circuit).

Road safety always comes first! Always position the spiral cable (A) in your vehicle so that it does not obstruct you when driving. When laying it in your vehicle, ensure that your field of vision is not restricted by the spiral cable (A). The spiral cable

(A) must never be mounted in the inflation range of an air bag. There is a risk of accident and injury.

First use

WARNING! The overall power of the spiral cable (A) is 10A. Make sure that the total power consumption of all connected devices does not exceed this value.

Depending on the position of your power outlet and the extension of the spiral cable (A), it may be useful to secure the spiral cable (A) so that it is not pulled out of the power outlet inadvertently.

Insert the plug (1) of the spiral cable (A) into the power outlet of your vehicle and secure the spiral cable (A) so that it is not pulled out inadvertently.

In some vehicles, the ignition must first be turned on so that the power outlet can supply power. For further details, please read the operating instructions for your car.

Then insert the plug of the 12V or 24V device to be connected into the car power outlet 12V / 24V (2) of the spiral cable (A).

Replacing fuse

WARNING! If it is necessary to change a fuse, you must ensure that only a fuse of the same type is used (see technical data).

If the connected 12V or 24V device does not work, although the power outlet is supplied with power, the fuse of the spiral cable (A) is probably defective and must be replaced.

Proceed as follows:

Pull out the spiral cable (A) from the power outlet of your vehicle.

Remove the contact closure on the plug (1) of the spiral cable (A) by turning it anti-clockwise.

Replace the fuse with a new fuse of the same type.

Attach the contact closure of the spiral cable (A) by firmly turning it clockwise.

Insert the plug (1) of the spiral cable (A) into the power outlet of your vehicle.

The spiral cable (A) is now ready to use again.

Cleaning / maintenance

The spiral cable (A) does not contain any parts that require servicing or cleaning. Ensure that the spiral cable (A) does not become dirty.

WARNING! Clean the spiral cable (A) with a slightly damp cloth if it becomes dirty. Do not use any solvents, corrosive or gaseous cleaning agents. The spiral cable (A) may be damaged otherwise.

Environmental and disposal information

This device is sold with three years warranty from the date of purchase. Please keep the original receipt in a safe place as proof of purchase. Before using your product for the first time, please read the enclosed documentation. Should any problems arise which cannot be solved in this way, please call our hotline. Please have the article number and, if available, the serial number to hand for all enquiries. If it is not possible to solve the problem on the phone, our hotline support staff will initiate further servicing procedures depending on the fault. Within the warranty period the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge as we deem appropriate. No new warranty period commences if the product is repaired or replaced. Consumables such as batteries, rechargeable batteries and lamps are not covered by the warranty.

Your statutory rights towards the seller are not affected or restricted by this warranty.

Spirálový kabel do zásuvky autozapalovače SilverCrest SSK 3 A1, dále označovaný jako spirálový kabel, slouží jako prodlužovací kabel zásuvky vašeho autozapalovače a umožňuje flexibilní napájení přístrojů ve vašem automobilu bez ohledu na to, kde je zásuvka autozapalovače umístěna. Spirálový kabel lze natáhnout až do délky cca 300 cm.

Používání výrobku v souladu s jeho

určením

Tento spirálový kabel není určen pro provoz ve firmách ani pro komerční využití, nýbrž pouze pro soukromé použití v osobních automobilech, obytných vozech či campingových vozech vybavených zdrojem napětí 12 V / 24 V. Jakékoli jiné použití není považováno za použití k určenému účelu.

Spirálový kabel (A) je dovoleno používat pouze uvnitř vozidla, v žádném případě ne venku (pod širým nebem). Není dimenzován pro provoz v prostorách s vysokou teplotou, vlhkostí vzduchu nebo nadměrnou prašností. Provozní teplota a provozní vlhkost vzduchu: −10 až +45 °C, max. 85% rel. vlhkost.

NEBEZPEČÍ! Dbejte na to, aby

na spirálový kabel (A) nepůsobily žádné přímé zdroje tepla (např. topení), jinak může dojít k jeho poškození.

na spirálovém kabelu (A) ani vedle něj nestály zdroje otevřeného ohně (např. hořící svíčky); hrozí nebezpečí požáru.

nedocházelo ke kontaktu se stříkající a kapající vodou či agresivními kapalinami a aby nebyl spirálový kabel (A) provozován v blízkosti vody; zejména nesmí dojít k jeho polití/ponoření (nestavte na spirálový kabel (A) ani vedle něj předměty naplněné vodou, např. vázy či nápoje; hrozí nebezpečí požáru a elektrického zkratu).

Při pokládání dbejte na to, aby spirálový kabel (A) neblokoval váš výhled z auta. Spirálový kabel (A) je zakázáno instalovat v akční zóně airbagu. Hrozí nebezpečí nehody a zranění.
