► Controllare se la fornitura è integra e se presenta danni visibili.

Disimballaggio
♦ Rimuovere dal cartone tutte le parti dell'apparecchio e il manuale di istruzioni.
♦ Rimuovere completamente il materiale di imballaggio.
AVVERTENZA! PERICOLO DI SOFFOCAMENTO!
► Il materiale di imballaggio non deve essere utilizzato dai bambini come
giocattolo. Pericolo di soffocamento.
Smaltimento della confezione
L'imballaggio protegge l'apparecchio dai danni da trasporto. I materiali di
imballaggio sono stati selezionati in relazione alla loro ecocompatibilità e alle
caratteristiche di smaltimento e pertanto sono riciclabili.
Il riciclo dell'imballaggio consente di risparmiare materie prime e riduce la generazione di rifiuti. Smaltire il materiale di imballaggio inutilizzato in conformità
alle norme vigenti locali.

► Durante il periodo di validità della garanzia, conservare l'imballaggio
originale per poter imballare adeguatamente l'apparecchio in caso di
intervento in garanzia.
Tenere conto dei codici presenti sui vari materiali di imballaggio ed eventualmente separare i materiali effettuando una raccolta differenziata. I materiali
d'imballaggio presentano codici costituiti da abbreviazioni (b) e numeri (a)

Avvertenze di sicurezza
PERICOLO DI FOLGORAZIONE
► Collegare l'apparecchio solo a una presa installata a norma
con tensione di rete corrispondente a quella riportata sulla
targhetta di modello.
► Non immergere mai l'apparecchio in liquidi e impedire la
penetrazione di liquidi nell'alloggiamento dell'apparecchio.
Non esporre l'apparecchio all'umidità e non utilizzarlo
all'aperto. In caso di infiltrazioni di liquidi nell'alloggiamento
dell'apparecchio, disinserire subito la spina dalla presa
e fare riparare l'apparecchio da personale specializzato
qualificato.
► In caso di guasti e prima della pulizia, staccare sempre la
spina dalla presa di corrente.
► Tirare sempre dalla spina, mai dal cavo.
► Non avvolgere il cavo di allacciamento alla rete attorno
all'apparecchio e proteggerlo da danneggiamenti.
► Al fine di evitare pericoli, fare sostituire immediatamente spine
o cavi danneggiati da personale specializzato autorizzato
o dal centro di assistenza clienti.
► Non piegare e non schiacciare il cavo di rete e posizionarlo
in modo tale che non sia di intralcio né vi si possa inciampare.
► Non usare prolunghe.
► Non toccare mai l'apparecchio, il cavo di allacciamento
alla rete e la spina di rete con le mani umide.
► Dopo l'uso, staccare immediatamente l'apparecchio dalla
rete elettrica. Esso è completamente privo di tensione solo
se scollegato dalla rete elettrica.

PERICOLO DI FOLGORAZIONE
► Non è consentito aprire o riparare l'alloggiamento dell'appa-
recchio. Aprendolo ci si espone a pericoli e la garanzia decade. Fare riparare l'apparecchio guasto solo da personale
specializzato autorizzato.
► Assicurarsi che durante il funzionamento il cavo di rete non
sia esposto all'acqua o all'umidità.
Condurlo in modo tale da impedire che si incastri o danneggi.
► Non utilizzare mai l'apparecchio in prossimità di acqua,
soprattutto di lavandini, vasche da bagno o simili.
La vicinanza all'acqua rappresenta un pericolo anche ad
apparecchio spento. La spina va pertanto staccata sempre
dopo ogni utilizzo. Come protezione addizionale, si consiglia
di installare nel circuito della stanza da bagno un interruttore
differenziale con una corrente nominale di attivazione non
superiore a 30 mA. Consultare il proprio elettricista.
AVVERTENZA! PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato dai bambini di
almeno 8anni di età e da persone con capacità fisiche,
sensoriali o mentali ridotte o insufficiente esperienza o conoscenza, solo se sorvegliati o istruiti sull'uso sicuro dell'apparecchio e qualora ne abbiano compreso i pericoli associati.
► I bambini non devono giocare con l'apparecchio.
► La pulizia e la manutenzione a carico dell'utente non devono
essere eseguite da bambini a meno che essi non vengano
sorvegliati.

AVVERTENZA! PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Non posare mai l'apparecchio acceso senza estrarre il
piedistallo.
► Non lasciare mai l'apparecchio acceso incustodito.
► Non collocare mai l'apparecchio in prossimità di fonti di
calore e proteggere il cavo di rete da eventuali danneggiamenti.
► Se l'apparecchio avesse subito cadute o danni, non metterlo
più in funzione. L'apparecchio deve essere sottoposto a controllo da parte di personale specializzato e all'occorrenza
riparato.
► Le parti dell'apparecchio possono surriscaldarsi durante
l'uso. Toccare quindi soltanto l'impugnatura e l'interruttore.
ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI!
► Non arricciare mai parrucche o parrucchini di materiale
sintetico. Potrebbero danneggiarsi a causa del calore!
► Acconciare solo capelli umani. Non utilizzare l'apparecchio
su animali.

Prima della messa in funzione
♦ Prima di mettere in esercizio l'apparecchio accertarsi che
– l'apparecchio si trovi in perfette condizioni e
– sia stato rimosso tutto il materiale di imballaggio.
♦ Pulire l'apparecchio con un panno umido e poi asciugarlo.
AVVERTENZA - DISPOSITIVO PER LO SPEGNIMENTO DI
SICUREZZA
Questo apparecchio è fornito di un dispositivo per lo spegnimento di
sicurezza.
Dopo circa 30 minuti di mancato azionamento dell'interruttore ON/OFF q
l'apparecchio si spegne automaticamente. Dopo circa 25 minuti, il display 6
comincia a lampeggiare per ricordare lo spegnimento automatico.
Dopo di ciò compare la scritta "OFF".
Il dispositivo di spegnimento di sicurezza non sostituisce lo spegnimento
manuale dall'interruttore ON/OFF q! Esso serve solo per sicurezza in
caso si dimentichi di spegnere l'apparecchio!
Prima dell'acconciatura
■ I capelli devono essere puliti, asciutti e privi di prodotti cosmetici. Fanno
eccezione i prodotti speciali che aiutano a ottenere l'arricciatura dei capelli.
■ Prima di effettuare l'acconciatura, pettinare accuratamente i capelli in modo
da eliminare eventuali nodi.
■ Dividere la capigliatura in sezioni più piccole e fissare le ciocche sulla testa
con delle pinze, in modo che non costituiscano intralcio.
Uso
Accensione/spegnimento
♦ Inserire la spina in una presa di corrente.
♦ Portare l'interruttore ON/OFF q in posizione ON. L'indicazione della
temperatura sul display 6 inizia a lampeggiare. L'apparecchio è preregolato
su 185 °C e inizia a riscaldare. Quando l'indicazione della temperatura
sul display 6 rimane accesa in modo fisso, ciò significa che l'elemento
riscaldante 1 è caldo.
♦ Dopo aver terminato l'acconciatura dei capelli, portare l'interruttore
ON/OFF q in posizione "OFF" e staccare la spina di rete.

Regolazione della temperatura
Si può selezionare in passi da 10 °C una temperatura compresa tra 120 e
180 °C oppure, con un ulteriore passo da 5 °C, la temperatura massima di
185 °C.
Ecco come si regola la temperatura dell'elemento riscaldante 1:
■ Per aumentare la temperatura, premere il tasto "+" 8.
Per passare alla temperatura massima di 185 °C, premere e tenere premuto
il tasto "+" 8.
■ Per abbassare la temperatura, premere il tasto "–" 9.
Per passare alla temperatura minima di 120 °C, premere e tenere premuto
il tasto "–" 9.
NOTA
► Per capelli spessi e robusti regolare una temperatura più alta.
► Per capelli fini e sottili regolare una temperatura più bassa.
► In caso di dubbi, iniziare sempre con una temperatura bassa per poi
aumentarla fino a trovare la temperatura ideale.
Messa in piega
ATTENZIONE! PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Procedere con cautela nell'uso del ferro riscaldato. Non toccare il cuoio
capelluto o altre parti del corpo con l'elemento riscaldante 1 quando è
caldo! Si possono provocare ustioni!
Se l'apparecchio è riscaldato:
♦ Fissare la punta della ciocca di capelli con l'ausilio della clip fermacapelli 2
che si trova sull'estremità inferiore dell'elemento riscaldante 1 (Fig. 1).

♦ Dopo di ciò arrotolare i capelli attorno all'elemento riscaldante 1 in modo
tale che essi si posino attorno all'elemento riscaldante 1 e alla clip fermacapelli 2.
A tale scopo ricorrere alla funzione di rotazione:
– Per avvolgere la ciocca di capelli in senso orario, premere il tasto a
freccia di sinistra 4; per avvolgerla in senso antiorario, premere il tasto
a freccia di destra 4.
NOTA
► Al fine di evitare che le punte dei capelli si arriccino, assicurarsi di far
rotare l'elemento riscaldante 1 in direzione delle punte.
♦ Attendere circa 5-12 secondi in questa posizione, usare a tale scopo il timer:
– Premere il tasto
una durata di 5 secondi.
– Per regolare la durata, premere i tasti "+" 8o "–" 9. Si può scegliere
tra 5, 8 e 12 secondi.
– Alla scadenza dei secondi impostati, vengono emessi tre segnali acustici.
NOTA
► I capelli spessi e/o lunghi necessitano solitamente di più tempo rispetto ai
capelli corti e/o sottili.
► In caso di dubbi, iniziare sempre con una durata ridotta per poi aumentarla
fino a trovare la durata ideale.
♦ Svolgere l'elemento riscaldante 1 dalla ciocca di capelli e sbloccare la clip
fermacapelli 2.
♦ Procedere analogamente con le altre ciocche.
♦ Fare raffreddare i riccioli prima di acconciarli.
7. Nell'impostazione standard viene visualizzata

NOTA
► Se si preme il tasto "RESET" 5, l'apparecchio ritorna da qualsiasi posizione
alla posizione di partenza ruotando in senso antiorario, di conseguenza la
clip fermacapelli 2 è di nuovo rivolta verso l'alto.
► Se si desidera fare una pausa e posare l'apparecchio, estrarre il piedistallo 3
che si trova sul lato inferiore dell'apparecchio.

Pulizia e manutenzione
PERICOLO DI FOLGORAZIONE
► Prima della pulizia staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di rete. Sussiste il
pericolo di scossa elettrica!
AVVERTENZA! PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Fare raffreddare l'apparecchio prima della pulizia. Pericolo di ustioni!
ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI!
► Non utilizzare detergenti chimici, abrasivi o aggressivi! Essi possono
danneggiare la superficie dell'apparecchio.
■ Pulire l'apparecchio esclusivamente con un panno leggermente umido.
■ Prima del riutilizzo o della conservazione, fare raffreddare completamente
l'apparecchio.
Conservazione
■ È possibile appendere l'apparecchio all'occhiello di aggancio0.
■ Conservare l'apparecchio in un luogo asciutto e privo di polvere.
Smaltimento dell'apparecchio
N
on gettare per alcun motivo l'apparecchio insieme ai normali
rifiuti domestici.
Questo prodotto è soggetto alla Direttiva europea 2012/19/EU-RAEE
(Rifiuti da apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche).
Smaltire l'apparecchio tramite un'azienda di smaltimento autorizzata o l'ente
di smaltimento comunale. Rispettare le norme attualmente in vigore. In caso di
dubbi mettersi in contatto con l'ente di smaltimento competente.

Questo apparecchio ha una garanzia di 3 anni dalla data di acquisto. Qualora
questo prodotto presentasse vizi, Le spettano diritti legali nei confronti del venditore
del prodotto. La garanzia qui di seguito descritta non costituisce alcun limite a
tali diritti legali.
Condizioni di garanzia
Il periodo di garanzia decorre dalla data dell’acquisto. Si prega di conservare lo
scontrino di cassa originale. Tale documento è necessario come prova di acquisto.
Qualora entro tre anni a partire dalla data dell’acquisto di questo prodotto si
presentasse un vizio del materiale o di fabbricazione, provvederemo, a nostra
discrezione, a riparare o a sostituire gratuitamente il prodotto. Questa prestazione
di garanzia ha come presupposto che l’apparecchio difettoso e la prova di acquisto
(scontrino di cassa) vengano presentati entro il termine di tre anni e che si descriva
per iscritto in cosa consiste il vizio e quando si è presentato.
Se il vizio rientra nell’ambito della nostra garanzia, il Suo prodotto verrà riparato
o sostituito da uno nuovo. Con la riparazione o la sostituzione del prodotto non
decorre un nuovo periodo di garanzia.
Periodo di garanzia e diritti legali di rivendicazione di vizi
Il periodo di garanzia non viene prolungato da interventi in garanzia. Ciò vale
anche per le parti sostituite e riparate. Danni e vizi eventualmente già presenti
al momento dell’acquisto devono venire segnalati immediatamente dopo che
l’apparecchio è stato disimballato. Le riparazioni eseguite dopo la scadenza del
periodo di garanzia sono a pagamento.
Ambito della garanzia
L’apparecchio è stato prodotto con cura secondo severe direttive qualitative e
debitamente collaudato prima della consegna.
La garanzia viene prestata in caso di vizi del materiale o di fabbricazione.
Questa garanzia non si estende a componenti del prodotto che sono esposti al
normale logorio e possono pertanto essere considerati come componenti soggetti
a usura o a danni che si verificano su componenti delicati, per es. interruttori, batterie,
stampi da forno o parti realizzate in vetro.
Questa garanzia decade se il prodotto è stato danneggiato oppure utilizzato o
sottoposto a interventi di manutenzione in modo non conforme. Per un utilizzo
adeguato del prodotto si devono rigorosamente rispettare tutte le istruzioni esposte
nel manuale di istruzioni per l’uso. Si devono assolutamente evitare modalità di
utilizzo e azioni che il manuale di istruzioni per l’uso sconsiglia o da cui esso mette
in guardia.
Il prodotto è destinato esclusivamente all’uso domestico e non a quello commerciale. La garanzia decade in caso di impiego improprio o manomissione, uso
della forza e interventi non eseguiti dalla nostra filiale di assistenza autorizzata.

Trattamento dei casi di garanzia

seguenti istruzioni:
■ Tenga a portata di mano per qualsiasi richiesta lo scontrino di cassa e il
codice dell’articolo (per es. IAN 12345) come prova di acquisto.
■ Il codice dell’articolo è indicato sulla targhetta di modello, su un’incisione,
sul frontespizio del manuale di istruzioni per l’uso (in basso a sinistro) o
come adesivo sul lato posteriore o inferiore.
■ Qualora si presentassero malfunzionamenti o altri tipi di vizi, contatti innan-
zitutto il reparto assistenza clienti qui di seguito indicato telefonicamente
o via e-mail.
■ Una volta che il prodotto è stato registrato come difettoso, lo può poi spedire
a nostro carico, provvedendo ad allegare la prova di acquisto (scontrino di

Unpacking
♦ Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the
box.
♦ Remove all packaging material.

► Do not allow children to play with packaging materials. There is a risk of
suffocation.
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease
of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials
that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Connect this appliance only to a properly installed wall
power socket that supplies the mains voltage specified on
the rating plate.
► Under no circumstances should the appliance be submersed
in liquids or liquids be allowed to penetrate the housing.
Do not expose the appliance to humidity and do not use it
outdoors. If any liquid gets into the housing, disconnect the
appliance from the mains power socket immediately and
have it repaired by a qualified technician.
► In event of operating malfunctions and before cleaning the
appliance, remove the plug from the mains power socket.
► To disconnect the appliance, pull only on the plug itself, not
on the power cable.
► Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance, and
protect the cable from being damaged.
► Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be
replaced as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by
our Customer Service Department to avoid the risk of injury.
► Do not kink or crush the power cable and route it in such

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Do not open the appliance housing or attempt to repair the
appliance yourself. This can lead to risks and also invalidates
the warranty. Defective appliances should be repaired by
authorised specialists only.
► Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or damp
during use.
Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be crushed or
damaged.
► Never use the appliance near water, especially in
vicinity of sinks, baths or other similar containers.
The proximity of water is hazardous, even if the appliance
is switched off. Always disconnect the plug from the mains
power socket after use. For additional protection, we
recommend that you install a residual current circuit breaker
with an activation power rating of no more than 30 mA for
the power circuit in the bathroom. Ask your electrician for
advice.

Before use
♦ Before you use the appliance, ensure that ...
– the appliance is in working order,
– all packaging materials have been removed.
♦ Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and then dry it well.
NOTE – SAFETY SWITCH-OFF
This appliance is fitted with a safety switch-off.
If the On/Off switch q is not used for approx. 30 minutes, the appliance
switches itself off automatically. After approx. 25 minutes, the display 6
starts to flash to remind you the appliance about to switch off automatically.
Then, the message "OFF" appears.
The safety switch-off is not an alternative to using the On/Off switch q
manually! It is only for your safety, in the event that you forget to switch the
appliance off!
Before styling
■ The hair should be clean, dry and free of styling products. Special products
which facilitate curling of the hair may be used.
■ Comb the hair thoroughly before styling so that there are no knots in it.
■ Divide the hair into manageable portions and pin the upper portions to the
head with grips so that they do not get in the way.
Operation
Switching on/off
♦ Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
♦ Push the On/Off switch q to the ON position. The temperature on the
display 6 starts to flash. The appliance is preset to 185°C and starts to
preheat. When the temperature on the display 6 lights up permanently,
the heating element 1 has heated up.
♦ When you have finished styling your hair, push the On/Off switch q to
the OFF position and disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket.

Setting the temperature
You can adjust the temperature in 10°C steps to a temperature between 120
and 180°C or in a further 5°C step to the maximum temperature of 185°C.
Adjust the temperature of the heating element 1 as follows:
■ Press the "+" button 8 to increase the temperature.
Press and hold down the "+" button 8 to jump to the maximum temperature
of 185°C.
■ Press the "–" button 9 button to reduce the temperature.
Press and hold down the "–" button 9 to jump to the minimum temperature
of 120°C.
NOTE
► Select a high temperature for thick and strong hair.
► Select a lower temperature for fine and thin hair.
► If you are unsure, start with a lower temperature and increase the tempera-
ture until you find the ideal temperature for you.
Styling
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Take care when handling the heated curling iron. Do not touch your scalp
or other parts of your body with the hot heating element 1! This could
cause burns!
Once the appliance has heated-up:
♦ Clamp the tip of the hair strand firmly onto the lower end of the heating
element 1 using the hair clip 2 (fig. 1).

♦ Then roll the heating element 1 into the hair so that the strand is wrapped
around the heating element 1 and the hair clip 2.
To do this, use the rotation function:
– Press the left arrow button 4 to wind the hair in a clockwise direction or
the right arrow button 4 to wind it in an anticlockwise direction.
NOTE
► Make sure that you rotate the heating element 1 in the direction of your
hair ends to prevent frizz.
♦ Wait approx. 5–12 seconds in this position. Use the timer:
– press the

8 or 12 seconds.
– After the set time has elapsed, you will hear three beeps.
NOTE
► Thick and/or long hair generally requires more time than short and/or fine
hair.
► If you are unsure, start with a lower temperature and a shorter time and
increase them until you find the ideal time period for you.
♦ Unwind the heating element 1 from the hair strand and release the hair
clip 2.
♦ Proceed with the other strands in the same way.
♦ Allow the curls to cool down before you continue styling the hair.

NOTE
► When you press the "RESET" button 5, the appliance rotates anticlockwise
from whatever position it is in to the starting position so that the hair clip 2
is facing upwards again.
► If you want to put down the appliance at any time during use, simply fold
out the stand 3 on the bottom of the appliance.

■ Store the appliance in a dry and dust-free location.

This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product
has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights
are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep
your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of
purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion.
This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance
and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault
and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or
replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty.
This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects
present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not
extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as
switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used
or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions
that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against
must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of
our authorised Service centres.

Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und

Sicherheitshinweise
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig in-
stallierte Netzsteckdose mit einer der auf dem Typenschild
entsprechenden Netzspannung an.
► Sie dürfen das Gerät keinesfalls in eine Flüssigkeit tauchen
und keine Flüssigkeiten in das Gerätegehäuse gelangen lassen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keiner Feuchtigkeit aussetzen und
nicht im Freien benutzen. Falls doch einmal Flüssigkeit in das
Gerätegehäuse gelangt, ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker
des Geräts aus der Netzsteckdose und lassen Sie es von
qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen und bevor Sie das Gerät
reinigen den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
► Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, ziehen Sie
nicht am Kabel selbst.
► Wickeln Sie die Netzanschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät
und schützen Sie sie vor Beschädigungen.
► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort
von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice
austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie die Netzanschlussleitung nicht
und verlegen Sie sie so, dass niemand darauf treten oder
darüber stolpern kann.
► Sie dürfen kein Verlängerungskabel verwenden.
► Fassen Sie Gerät, Netzanschlussleitung und -stecker nie mit
nassen Händen an.
► Trennen Sie das Gerät sofort nach dem Gebrauch vom
Stromnetz. Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose ziehen, ist es vollständig stromfrei.

► Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse nicht öffnen oder reparieren.
In diesem Falle ist die Sicherheit nicht gegeben und die Gewährleistung erlischt. Lassen Sie ein defektes Gerät nur von
qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht nass
oder feucht wird.
Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt oder beschädigt
werden kann.
► Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe von
Wasser, insbesondere nicht in der Nähe von
Waschbecken, Badewannen oder ähnlichen Gefäßen. Die
Nähe von Wasser stellt eine Gefahr dar, auch wenn das
Gerät ausgeschaltet ist. Ziehen Sie daher nach jedem
Gebrauch den Netzstecker. Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird
Ihnen die Installation einer Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung mit
einem Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA
im Badezimmer-Stromkreis empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren
Elektroinstallateur um Rat.

und schützen Sie die Netzanschlussleitung vor Beschädigungen.
► Falls das Gerät heruntergefallen oder beschädigt ist, dürfen
Sie es nicht mehr in Betrieb nehmen. Lassen Sie das Gerät
von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal überprüfen und gegebenenfalls reparieren.
► Die Geräteteile können im Betrieb heiß werden. Fassen Sie
daher nur den Handgriff und den Schalter an.
ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!
► Frisieren Sie niemals Perücken oder Haarteile aus syntheti-
schem Material. Diese können durch die Hitze beschädigt
werden!
► Frisieren Sie nur menschliche Haare. Benutzen Sie das Gerät
nicht bei Tieren.

Vor der Inbetriebnahme
♦ Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, überzeugen Sie sich davon, dass
– das Gerät in einwandfreiem Zustand ist,
– alle Verpackungsmaterialien entfernt sind.
♦ Wischen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch ab und trocknen Sie es ab.
HINWEIS - SICHERHEITS-ABSCHALTUNG
Dieses Gerät ist mit einer Sicherheits-Abschaltung ausgestattet.
Nach ca. 30 Minuten ohne Betätigung des Ein-/Aus-Schalters q schaltet
sich das Gerät automatisch aus. Nach ca. 25 Minuten beginnt das Display 6zu blinken, um Sie an die automatische Abschaltung zu erinnern.
Danach erscheint die Meldung „OFF“.
Die Sicherheits-Abschaltung ersetzt nicht das manuelle Ausschalten mit
dem Ein-/Aus-Schalter q! Sie dient nur Ihrer Sicherheit, falls das Abschalten vergessen wird!
Vor dem Frisieren
■ Das Haar sollte sauber, trocken und frei von Stylingprodukten sein. Ausge-
nommen sind spezielle Produkte, die das Curlen des Haares unterstützen.
■ Kämmen Sie das Haar vor dem Frisieren gründlich, damit sich keine Knoten
im Haar befinden.
■ Teilen Sie das Haar in handhabbare Partien ein und befestigen Sie die obe-
ren Partien mit Klammern auf dem Kopf, damit sie nicht im Weg sind.
Bedienen
Ein-/Ausschalten
♦ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.
♦ Schieben Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter q in die Position ON. Die Temperatur-
angabe im Display 6beginnt zu blinken. Das Gerät ist voreingestellt auf
185°C und beginnt mit dem Aufheizvorgang. Sobald die Temperaturangabe im Display 6dauerhaft leuchtet, ist der Heizstab 1 aufgeheizt.
♦ Wenn Sie mit dem Styling der Haare fertig sind, schieben Sie den Ein-/Aus-
Schalter q in die Position OFF und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.

Temperatur einstellen
Sie können in 10°C-Schritten zwischen einer Temperatur von 120 und 180°C
oder in einem weiteren 5°C-Schritt die Höchsttemperatur von 185°C wählen.
So stellen Sie die Temperatur des Heizstabes 1ein:
■ Drücken Sie die „+“-Taste 8, um die Temperatur zu erhöhen.
Drücken und halten Sie die „+“-Taste 8, um auf die Höchsttemperatur von
185°C zu springen.
■ Drücken Sie die „–“-Taste 9, um die Temperatur zu verringern.
Drücken und halten Sie die „–“-Taste 9, um auf die Mindesttemperatur von
120°C zu springen.
HINWEIS
► Für dickes und kräftiges Haar wählen Sie eine eher hohe Temperatur.
► Für feines und dünnes Haar wählen Sie eher eine niedrigere Temperatur.
► Wenn Sie sich unsicher sind, beginnen Sie immer mit einer niedrigeren
Temperatur und steigern Sie diese so lange, bis Sie die ideale Temperatur
gefunden haben.
Stylen
WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Seien sie vorsichtig im Umgang mit dem aufgeheizten Lockenstab. Berühren
Sie nicht die Kopfhaut oder andere Körperstellen mit dem heißen Heizstab1! Das führt zu Verbrennungen!
Wenn das Gerät aufgeheizt ist:
♦ Klemmen Sie die Spitze der Haarsträhne mit Hilfe des Haarclips 2 am
unteren Ende des Heizstabes 1 fest (Abb.1).

♦ Rollen Sie dann den Heizstab 1 so in das Haar ein, dass sich die Haare um
den Heizstab 1und um den Haarclip 2 legen.
Nutzen Sie dazu die Rotationsfunktion:
– Drücken Sie die linke Pfeiltaste 4, um die Haarsträhne mit dem Uhr-
zeigersinn oder rechte Pfeiltaste 4, um sie gegen den Uhrzeigersinn
aufzuwickeln.
HINWEIS
► Achten Sie darauf, den Heizstab 1in Richtung der Haarspitzen rotieren
zu lassen, um gekräuselte Haarenden zu vermeiden.
♦ Warten Sie ca. 5-12 Sekunden in dieser Position ab, nutzen Sie dazu den
Timer:
– Drücken Sie die
Sekunden angezeigt.
– Drücken Sie die Tasten „+“ 8oder „–“ 9, um die Zeit anzupassen. Sie
haben die Wahl zwischen 5, 8 und 12 Sekunden.
– Nach Ablauf der eingestellen Sekunden ertönen drei Signaltöne.
HINWEIS
► Dickes und/oder langes Haar braucht für gewöhnlich etwas länger als
kurzes und/oder dünnes Haar.
► Wenn Sie sich unsicher sind, beginnen Sie immer mit einer niedrigeren
Zeitspanne und steigern Sie diese so lange, bis Sie die ideale Zeitspanne
gefunden haben.
♦ Wickeln Sie den Heizstab1 aus der Haarsträhne heraus und lösen Sie den
Haarclip 2.
♦ Verfahren Sie mit den übrigen Strähnen genauso.
♦ Lassen Sie die Locken auskühlen, bevor Sie sie frisieren.

HINWEIS
► Durch Drücken der Taste „RESET“ 5fährt das Gerät aus jeder Position
heraus gegen den Uhrzeigersinn in den Ausgangszustand zurück, so dass
der Haarclip2 wieder nach oben zeigt.
► Wenn Sie das Gerät zwischendurch ablegen wollen, nutzen Sie den Stand-
fuß 3 an der Unterseite des Gerätes!

Reinigen und Pflegen
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung immer den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdo-
se. Es besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages!
WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung abkühlen. Verbrennungsgefahr!
ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!
► Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven, chemischen oder scheuernden Reini-
gungsmittel! Diese können die Oberfläche des Gerätes angreifen.
■ Reinigen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch.
■ Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der erneuten Benutzung oder vor dem Verstauen
vollständig trocknen.
Aufbewahren
■ Sie können das Gerät an der Aufhängeöse 0 aufhängen.
■ Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen und staubfreien Ort auf.
Gerät entsorgen

erfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU

Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kunde,
Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab Kaufdatum. Im Falle von
Mängeln dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer des Produkts gesetzliche Rechte zu. Diese gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch unsere im Folgenden
dargestellte Garantie nicht eingeschränkt.
Garantiebedingungen
Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Bitte bewahren Sie den Original–
Kassenbon gut auf. Diese Unterlage wird als Nachweis für den Kauf benötigt.
Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Materialoder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl – für
Sie kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt. Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass
innerhalb der Drei-Jahres-Frist das defekte Gerät und der Kaufbeleg (Kassenbon)
vorgelegt und schriftlich kurz beschrieben wird, worin der Mangel besteht und
wann er aufgetreten ist.
Wenn der Defekt von unserer Garantie gedeckt ist, erhalten Sie das reparierte
oder ein neues Produkt zurück. Mit Reparatur oder Austausch des Produkts
beginnt kein neuer Garantiezeitraum.
Garantiezeit und gesetzliche Mängelansprüche
Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch
für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden
und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf
der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpflichtig.
Garantieumfang
Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor
Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie
erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und
daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen
an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile, die aus
Glas gefertigt sind.
Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt
oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle
in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten.
Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung
abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.
Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch
bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlassung
vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

Um eine schnelle Bearbeitung Ihres Anliegens zu gewährleisten, folgen Sie bitte
den folgenden Hinweisen:
■ Bitte halten Sie für alle Anfragen den Kassenbon und die Artikelnummer (z. B.
IAN 12345) als Nachweis für den Kauf bereit.
■ Die Artikelnummer entnehmen Sie bitte dem Typenschild, einer Gravur, auf
dem Titelblatt Ihrer Anleitung (unten links) oder als Aufkleber auf der Rückoder Unterseite.
■ Sollten Funktionsfehler oder sonstige Mängel auftreten, kontaktieren Sie zunächst
