These kitchen scales are intended for use in weighing
non-caustic, non-aggressive and non-abrasive liquids
(especially water and milk) and solid materials in
domestic households. The weighing of medications
and non-permitted materials is considered to be
improper use.
The appliance is intended for domestic use only, it
is not suitable for commercial or industrial applications.

correct polarity and do not apply excessive
force when inserting them.
• Never place more than 5 kg on the scale.

• Avoid contact with solvents and with corrosive

• Only use the scale on level and fi rm surfaces.
• Do not place anything on the display.
• Do not subject the scale to high temperatures or
powerful magnetic fi elds.
• Avoid electrostatic charging and discharging.
These can cause erroneous displays and/or
the sudden deactivation of the scales.
Information regarding the handling
of batteries
When interacting with batteries, please observe the
following:

• Do not throw batteries into a fi re. Do not recharge the batteries. The risk of explosions and
injuries exists!
• Never open batteries, never solder or weld batteries. The risk of explosions and injuries exists!
Unpacking
Remove all parts of the appliance and these operating instructions from the box.
Remove all packaging materials and protective
foils.
Disposal of packaging
The packaging protects the appliance
The recirculation of packaging into the material
circuit saves on raw material and reduces generated waste. Dispose of packaging material that
is no longer needed according to the regionally
established regulations.
If possible preserve the appliance’s original packaging during the warranty period so that, in the
event of a warranty claim, you can package the
appliance properly for its return.

provided, and for signs of visible damage.
If the contents are incomplete, or have been damaged due to defective
packaging or transportation, contact the Service
Hotline (see chapter Service).
Open the battery compartment 1) 2 on the
underside of the scale.
Pull on the tab to open the restraint for the 2)
batteries.
Remove the protective foil from the batteries.3)
Insert the batteries into the battery compart-4)
ment 2. Pay heed to the polarity markings
given in the battery compartment.
Press the restraint for the batteries down so that 5)
it engages.
Press to close the battery compartment cover, 6)
until it locks in place.
The scale is now in clock mode and ready for use.
Setting the time
On commissioning and on a change of batteries
the current time must be programmed in, resp.
adjusted.
As soon as the batteries have been inserted the 1)
hour indicator blinks. Press the buttons ▲ Z/T 4
resp. ▼ UNIT 8 to set the hour.
Press the button T-SET 2) 7 to switch to the
minute indicator.
Press the button 3) ▲ Z/T 4 resp. the button ▼
UNIT 8 to set the minutes.
Press the button T-SET 4) 7.
The time display is now programmed.
Notice
If you should ever need to re-adjust the time display, press and hold the button T-Set 7 until the
hour indicator blinks. Then proceed as described
above.

Setup
Place the kitchen scales on a level and slip-free
surface.
Notice
This appliance is equipped with non-slip rubber
feet. As furniture surfaces may be made of a variety
of materials and are treated with many diff erent
types of cleaning agents, it cannot be completely
ruled out that some substances contain ingredients
which may perish the rubber feet and soften them. If
possible place an anti-slip material under the feet of
the appliance.

... briefl y press the button UNIT 8 until the desired
measurement unit appears in the display 6.
Notice
Always fi ll liquids into a container before you
measure it!
Operation
Setting the units of measurement
You can choose between the metric and the AngloAmerican (Imperial) system. From 0 g - 999 g the
unit is indicated in g/oz and from 999 g in kg/lb
and g/oz.
Additionally, you can weigh liquids.
In the metric system:
• Milliliter (ml) water
• Milliliter (ml) milk.
In the Anglo-American system:
• Fluid ounces (fl ´oz) water
• Fluid ounces (fl ´oz) milk.
Press the button ON/OFF 1) 5. The scale is
now in the weighing mode. The programmed
unit adjustment appears under or to the right
of the weight indication in the display 6.
To switch between the metric and Anglo-2)
American systems, press the button UNIT 8
until the measurement unit details change.
Weighing
Press the button ON/OFF 1) 5 to the switch the
scales on (weighing mode). The display 6
will light up.
Programme in the desired measurement unit 2)
(see chapter “Setting the units of measurement”).
The scales indicate a weight of “0”. “O” is shown
in the display 6 and on the left.
Place a suitable receptacle on the scales and 3)
press the button Z/T 4. The scales once
again shows “0”, it does not take account of
the weight of the receptacle.
Place the item(s) to be weighed into the receptacle.
Notice
If a button is not pressed or there is not a change
of the current measured weight after approx.30
seconds, the display lighting 6 switches itself off .
After a further 90 seconds the appliance returns to
the Clock Mode.
Adding & Weighing
(Tare Function)
You can repeatedly set the scale back to “0” in
order to weigh additional partial quantities.
For this, press the button Z/T 1) 4 once. In the
display 6 “TARE” appears on the left. The
scales indicate a weight of “0” again.
Place the additional item(s) to be weighed 2)
into the receptacle.
In the display 6 the weight of the newly added
item(s) is shown.

Notice
You can repeat this procedure several times.
However, never place more than 5 kg on the scale.
On removal of the receptacle and ingredients from
the scales, and on pressing the button Z/T 4, “O”
is once again indicated on the left in the display 6.
Removing weighed items
Press the button Z/T 1) 4 once. In the display
6 “TARE” is shown on the left. The scales
indicate a weight of “0” again.
Remove the desired amount of item.2)
The weight value of the removed item appears in
the display 6 as a negative value.
Notice
You can repeat this procedure several times.
With removal of the receptacle and ingredients
from the scales, and on pressing the button Z/
T 4, “O” is once again indicated on the left in
the display 6.
Press the button T-SET 4) 7 once. Using the buttons ▲ Z/T 4 resp. ▼ UNIT 8, programme
in the desired ten-second setting.
Press the button T-SET 5) 7 once. Using the buttons ▲ Z/T 4 resp. ▼ UNIT 8, programme
in the desired one-second setting.
Press the button T-SET 6) 7 to start the countdown.
Notice
You can reset the timer: Press the button T-SET 7
to reset the timer.
As soon as the programmed time has expired, an
acoustic signal sounds. This signal can be switched
off by pressing any button.
Switching the weighing function
off
If you do not weigh anything for ca. 2 minutes the
scale automatically switches into the clock mode.
• To switch over to the clock mode manually, press
the button ON/OFF 5.
Setting the Timer
The timer can be used in both the clock and the
weighing mode.
The timer enables you to set the clock for a specifi c
period of time, at the end of which a signal tone
sounds. The preset time runs as in a countdown

In the display 6 the temperature is shown on the
bottom right in °C.

Troubleshooting
• If the display 6 shows „Err“, the scale is overburdened. Remove items from the scale. Never
place more than 5 kg on the scale.
• If the display 6 briefl y indicates „Err“ and the
weighing mode cannot be switched on, the scale
is overburdened. Remove items from the scale
and then switch the scale back on again. Place
less than 5 kg on the scale.
• If the display 6 shows „Lo“, the batteries are
discharged. Replace the batteries.
Notice
The indicator “Lo” only appears in the weighing
mode.
Insert the new batteries into the battery com-4)
partment 2. Pay heed to the polarity markings given in the battery compartment. The
small cloth strip must lie under the batteries.
Press the restraint for the batteries down so 5)
that it engages.
Press and close the battery compartment 6)
cover, until it locks in place.
Storage
When the kitchen scale is not in use it can be hung
up by means of the integrated suspension 1, for
example from a kitchen ledge.
• If „- - - -“ appears in the display 6, wait for a
few seconds.
• Should your scale not function as expected,
replace the batteries. Should the malfunction
not be eliminated with these steps please make
contact with our Service Centre (see “Service“).
Changing the batteries
WARNING - Property Damage!
Pay attention to the correct polarity when exchanging batteries. An incorrect battery exchange could
lead to the risk of an explosion. Only exchange
batteries for identical or equivalent types. Should
the batteries leak, clean the battery compart-
ment 2 with a dry cloth whilst wearing protective
gloves.
Risk of poisoning!
Batteries can be swallowed by children and cause
a serious impairment of health. Keep the batteries
out of the reach of children.
To exchange the batteries, open the battery 1)
compartment cover on the underside of the
scales.
Pull on the tab to open the restraint for the 2)
batteries.
Remove the batteries by loosening them from 3)
the battery compartment 2 with the aid of
the small cloth strip.
Cleaning
WARNING - Property Damage!
•
Ensure that no fl uids can permeate the scale.
Permeating liquids can damage the scale.
• Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning
materials. These could attack the upper surfaces and irreparably damage the appliance.
• Wipe the scale clean with a cloth lightly mois-
tened by a mild detergent solution or use a special stainless steel cleaner. Do not use abrasive
or solvent cleaners.
• Clean the display 6 with a lightly moistened
cloth only and then wipe it dry with a lint-free
towel.

The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from
the date of purchase. In cases of defects with this
product, statutory rights are available to you against
the seller of the product. These statutory rights are
not restricted in any way by our warranty, which is
detailed in the following.
Warranty Provisions
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase.
This document is required as proof of purchase.
Should a material or manufacturing defect occur
within three years from the date of purchase of
this product, the product will - at our option - be
repaired or replaced free of charge by us. This
warranty benefi t requires that, within the three-year
period, the defective product and the proof of
purchase (receipt) are presented and the defect is
briefl y described in writing, in particular what it is
and when it occurred.
Should the defect be covered by our warranty, we
will return the product either repaired or as a new
replacement. A new warranty period does not begin with the repair or replacement of the product.
Warranty period and statutory defect
claims
The warranty period is not extended by repairs
made under the warranty. This applies also to replaced and repaired parts. Damages and defects
extant at the time of purchase must be reported
immediately after unpacking, resp. no later than
two days after the date of purchase. Repairs made
after the lapse of the warranty period are subject
to charge.
Warranty Coverage
The appliance was carefully produced according
to strict quality guidelines and thoroughly checked
before delivery.
The warranty provisions apply to material or manufacturing defects. This warranty does not extend
to product components exposed to normal wear
and tear, and which can therefore be regarded as
wearing parts, or for damage to fragile parts such
as switches, batteries, or parts that are made of
glass. A warranty liability will not be triggered for
minor deviations from the reference characteristics
that are irrelevant to the value and usability of the
product, or for damage caused by the chemical
and electrochemical eff ects of water, as well as in
general from abnormal environmental conditions
or extraneous operating conditions or when the
product has otherwise come into contact with inappropriate materials.
This warranty lapses if the product is damaged or
has not been appropriately used or maintained. To
qualify as appropriate use of the product, all directives listed in the operating instructions are to be
strictly observed. Utilisations and activities that are
advised against or warned against in the operating
instructions are to be implicitly avoided.

sirovine i umanjuje količinu otpada. Materijale
pakiranja koji Vam više nisu potrebni zbrinite u
skladu sa lokalnim važećim propisima.
Po mogućnosti sačuvajte originalno pakiranje za
vrijeme jamstvenog roka, kako biste u slučaju korištenja prava na jamstvo mogli uredno zapakirati

Otvorite pretinac za baterije 1) 2 na donjoj
strani vage.
Povucite jezičak, da biste otvorili blokadu 2)

Odstranite zaštitnu foliju sa baterija.3)
Umetnite baterije u pretinac za baterije 4) 2.
Pritom obratite pažnju na polaritet naznačen
u pretincu za baterije. Mala platnena trakica
mora se nalaziti ispod baterija.
Pritisnite blokadu baterija prema dolje, tako da 5)
ulegne u ležište.
Zatvorite poklopac pretinca za baterije, dok 6)
ne ulegne.
Vaga se sada nalazi u modusu sata i spremna je
za rad.
Podešavanje točnog vremena
Prilikom prvog puštanja u pogon i nakon zamjene
baterija točno vrijeme mora biti podešeno.
Kada ste umetnuli baterije, trepti oznaka za 1)
sate. Pritisnite tipku ▲ Z/T 4 odnosno ▼
UNIT 8, dok ne bude podešen sat.
Pritisnite tipku T-SET 2) 7, da biste prešli na
prikaz minuta.

UNIT 8, sve dok ne budu podešene minute.

promijeniti vrijeme, pritisnite i držite tipku T-Set 7
dok prikaz sata ne počne treptati. Postupite na

Ovaj uređaj je opremljen protukliznim nogicama.
Pošto se površine elemenata namještaja sastoje
od različitih materijala koje tretiramo različitim
sredstvima, ne može biti sasvim isključeno da neka
od ovih sredstava sadrže tvari koje su agresivne i
mogu razmekšati nogice. Po potrebi pod nogice
uređaja podmetnite podlogu, koja ne klizi.
Rukovanje
Podešavanje mjerne jedinice
Možete birati između metričkog i angloameričkog
sustava. Od 0 g - 999 g jedinica će biti prikazana
u g/oz, a od 999 g u kg/LB i g/oz.
Osim toga možete vagati tekućine.
U metričkom sustavu:
• Mililitre (ml) vode (Water)
• Mililitre (ml) mlijeka (Milk).
U angloameričkom sustavu:
• Tekuća unca (fl ´oz) vode (Water)
• Tekuća unca (fl ´oz) mlijeka (Milk).
Pritisnite tipku ON/OFF 1) 5. Vaga se sada nalazi u modusu za vaganje. Podešena jedinica
se pojavljuje ispod ili desno od oznake težine
na displayu 6.
Da biste birali između metričkog i angloame-2)
ričkog sustava, pritisnite i držite tipku UNIT 8,
dok se mjerna jedinica ne promijeni.
g/kg - ml vode - ml mlijeka
ili
oz/lb:oz - fl ´oz vode - fl ´oz mlijeka
... prebacivati, nakratko pritisnite tipku UNIT 8,
sve dok se željena mjerna jedinica na displayu 6
ne pojavi.

Tekućine prije mjerenja uvijek umetnite u spremnik!
Vaganje
Pritisnite tipku ON/OFF 1) 5, da biste uključili
vagu (modus za vaganje). Display 6 svijetli.
Kada podešeno vrijeme istekne, oglašava se
signalni ton. Ovaj signalni ton možete isključiti
pritiskanjem bilo koje tipke.
Napomena
Ovaj korak možete ponoviti više puta.
Kada sve objekte vaganja skinete sa vage i tipku
Z/T 4 pritisnete, na lijevoj strani displaya 6 se
pojavljuje prikaz „O”.
Podešavanje timera
Timer može biti korišten u modusu sata, kao i u
modusu vaganja.
Timer Vam omogućuje podešavanje vremenskog
roka, nakon čijeg isteka će se začuti akustični
signal. Podešeno vrijeme ističe kao countdown
(odbrojavanje)
Jednom pritisnite tipku T-SET 1) 7. Na displayu 6
se pojavljuje simbol zvona
.
Napomena
Vrijeme možete podesiti točno u sekundu.
Kada tipku ▲ Z/T 4 odnosno ▼ UNIT 8 držite
pritisnutu, znamenke brojeva brže prolaze.
Podesite sa tipkom 2) ▲ Z/T 4 odnosno ▼
UNIT 8 željene desetice minuta.
Jednom pritisnite tipku T-SET 3) 7. Podesite sa
tipkom ▲ Z/T 4 odnosno ▼ UNIT 8 željene
jedinice minuta.
Isključivanje funkcije vaganja
Kada ca. 2 minute ne vršite vaganje, automatika
isključivanja prebacuje u modus sata.
• Da biste ručno prešli u modus sata, pritisnite
tipku ON/OFF 5.
Prikaz temperature
Na displayu 6 se u desnom donjem dijelu pojavljuje
prikaz temperature u °C.

Otklanjanje funkcijskih smetnji
• Ako display 6 pokazuje „Err“, to znači da je
vaga preopterećena. Skinite dio namirnica.
Nikada ne postavite više od 5 kg na vagu.
• Ako display 6 kratko prikaže „Err“ i modus za
vaganje ne može biti uključen, to znači da je
vaga preopterećena. Namirnice skinite sa vage
i ponovo uključite modus za vaganje. Postavite
manje od 5 kg na vagu.
• Ako display 6 pokazuje „Lo“, to znači da su
baterije istrošene. Zamijenite baterije.
Napomena
Dojava „Lo“ se pojavljuje samo u modusu vaganja.
Umetnite nove baterije u pretinac za baterije 4)
2. Pritom obratite pažnju na polaritet naznačen u pretincu za baterije. Mala platnena
trakica mora se nalaziti ispod baterija.
Pritisnite blokadu baterija prema dolje, tako 5)
da ulegne u ležište.
Zatvorite poklopac pretinca za baterije tako 6)
da ulegne u ležište.
Čuvanje
Kada vagu ne koristite, možete je uz pomoć integriranog ovjesa 1 zavjesiti, primjerice na kuhinjskoj
letvici.
• Ako se na displayu 6 pojavljuje oznaka „- - - -“,
pričekajte nekoliko sekundi.
• Ako Vaša vaga ne funkcionira prema očekivanju,
zamijenite baterije. Ukoliko funkcionalna smetnja
time nije otklonjena, molimo da se obratite servisu
(vidi poglavlje "Servis").
Zamjena baterija
OPREZ - Moguća materijalna šteta!
Prilikom zamjene baterija obratite pažnju na
ispravan polaritet. Kod nestručne zamjene baterija
postoji opasnost od eksplozije. Baterije zamjenjujte isključivo identičnim tipom ili tipom jednake
vrijednosti. U slučaju iscurjelih baterija navucite
zaštitne rukavice i očistite pretinac za baterije 2
pomoću suhe krpe.
Opasnost od trovanja!
Baterije mogu biti progutane od djece i tako dovesti
do ugrožavanja zdravstvenog stanja. Baterije
čuvatjte van dohvata djece.
Za zamjenu baterija otvorite poklopac pretin-1)
ca za baterije smješten na donjoj strani vage.
Povucite jezičak, da biste otvorili blokadu 2)
baterija.
Izvadite baterije tako, što ćete ih pomoću 3)
male platnene trakice izvaditi iz pretinca za
baterije 2.
Čišćenje
OPREZ - Moguća materijalna šteta!
•
Osigurajte, da nikakve tekućine ne mogu
dospjeti u unutrašnjost vage. Tekućine, koje
prodru u vagu, mogu oštetiti ovaj uređaj.
• Ne koristite ribajuća ili nagrizajuća sredstva za
čišćenje. Takva sredstva mogu napasti površinu i
uređaj nepopravljivo oštetiti.
• Prebrišite vagu sa krpom blago natopljenom u
sapunsku lužinu ili koristite posebna sredstva za
čišćenje plemenitog čelika. Ne koristite sredstva
za ribanje ili otapala.
• Očistite display 6 samo pomoću blago navla-
žene krpe ili ga suho prebrišite krpom koja ne
ispušta vlakna.
