Vous avez choisi un produit de grande qualité. Le mode d'emploi fait partie de ce
produit. Il contient des remarques importantes concernant la sécurité, l'usage et la
mise au rebut. Avant l'usage, veuillez vous familiariser avec toutes les consignes
d'opération et de sécurité. N'utilisez le produit que conformément aux consignes
et pour les domaines d'utilisation prévus. Si vous cédez le produit à un tiers,
remettez-lui également ces instructions d'utilisation.

Utilisation conforme
Le lisseur à cheveux sert à lisser les cheveux humains, pas les perruques ni les
postiches en matériau synthétique. Utilisez l'appareil uniquement à des fi ns
privées. Respectez toutes les informations fi gurant dans ce mode d'emploi, en
particulier les consignes de sécurité. Cet appareil n'est pas destiné à une utilisation commerciale.
Tout usage divergent ou toute utilisation ne respectant pas les recommandations
d'emploi seront considérés comme non conformes. Aucune réclamation pour
dommages résultant d'un usage non conforme ne sera prise en considération.
La personne utilisant l'appareil est seule à assumer le risque.

Consignes de sécurité
RISQUE DE CHOC ÉLECTRIQUE
Raccordez l'appareil uniquement sur une prise secteur installée en bonne
►
et due forme avec une tension secteur de 220 - 240 V ~ / 50 Hz.
► Le câble de raccordement de cet appareil ne peut pas être remplacé.
Si le câble est endommagé, l'appareil doit être détruit.
► En cas de dysfonctionnements et avant de nettoyer l'appareil, débranchez
la fi che secteur de la prise secteur.
► Tirez toujours la fi che secteur de la prise secteur, sans tirer sur le câble
lui-même.
► Ne pliez et ne coincez pas le câble secteur et acheminez le câble secteur
de telle manière que personne ne puisse marcher ou trébucher dessus.
► Veillez à ce que le câble secteur ne soit pas mouillé ou humide en cours d'opé-
ration. Acheminez-le de telle manière qu'il ne soit ni coincé ni endommagé.
► Si l'appareil, le câble de raccordement ou la fi che secteur étaient endom-
magés, faites-les remplacer par le service après-vente pour éviter tous
risques.
► N'utilisez pas l'appareil à l'extérieur.
► N'enroulez pas le câble autour de l'appareil et protégez-le contre tous
dommages. Vous ne devez en aucun cas plonger l'appareil dans l'eau et
vous ne devez laisser pénétrer aucun liquide dans le boîtier de l'appareil.
Vous ne devez pas exposer l'appareil à l'humidité. L'utilisation de l'appareil à
l'extérieur est interdite. Si toutefois du liquide devait pénétrer dans le boîtier
de l'appareil, débranchez immédiatement la fi che de la prise secteur et
confi ez l'appareil à un atelier spécialisé pour réparation.
► Le cordon ne doit pas être plié ou écrasé. Disposez-le de manière à éviter
que quelqu'un ne marche dessus ou trébuche.
► N'utilisez pas de câble de rallonge afi n que la prise de courant soit facile
à atteindre en cas d'urgence.
► Ne saisissez jamais l'appareil, le câble secteur et la fi che secteur avec des
mains mouillées.
► Coupez aussitôt l'appareil de l'alimentation secteur après usage. L'appareil
ne sera totalement hors tension qu'à partir du moment où la fi che sera
débranchée de la prise de courant.

RISQUE DE CHOC ÉLECTRIQUE
Ne jamais utiliser l'appareil à proximité d'eau, en particulier près d'un
lavabo, d'une baignoire ou d'un autre équipement analogue. La
proximité d'eau représente un danger, même si l'appareil est éteint.
Pour cette raison, débranchez l'appareil après chaque utilisation.
A titre de protection supplémentaire, nous recommandons l'installation d'un relais disjoncteur contre les courants de fuite avec un
seuil de déclenchement impérativement inférieur à 30 mA dans le
circuit électrique de la salle de bains. Demandez conseiller à votre
électricien.
AVERTISSEMENT ! RISQUE D'ACCIDENT !
► Ne laissez jamais l'appareil branché sans surveillance.
► Ne laissez jamais l'appareil à proximité de sources de chaleur et protégez
le câble secteur de tous dégâts.
► Si l'appareil est tombé ou est endommagé, vous ne devez pas le remettre
en fonctionnement. Faites inspecter et réparer, le cas échéant, l'appareil
par des techniciens spécialisés et qualifi és.
► Il est interdit d'ouvrir le boîtier de l'appareil et de le réparer. Dans ce cas,
la sécurité n'est plus assurée et vous perdez le bénéfi ce de la garantie.
Confi ez les réparations de l'appareil défectueux uniquement à un technicien
spécialisé.
► L'appareil chauff e en cours d'opération. Lorsqu'il est chaud, saisissez-le
par le manche.
► Cet appareil n'est pas prévu pour des personnes (y compris des enfants)
dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales ou dont le manque
d'expérience ou de connaissances les empêchent d'assurer un usage
sûr des appareils, s'ils n'ont pas été surveillés ou initiés au préalable. Les
enfants doivent être surveillés afi n d'éviter qu'ils ne jouent avec l'appareil.

Accessoires fournis
L'appareil est équipé par défaut des composants suivants :

1) Sortir de l'emballage les pièces de l'appareil et le mode d'emploi.
2) Retirer tous les matériaux d'emballage.
3) Nettoyer toutes les pièces de l'appareil comme indiqué au chapitre
«Nettoyage».
REMARQUE
Vérifi ez que la livraison est bien complète et qu'elle ne présente pas de
►
dommages apparents.
► En cas de livraison incomplète ou de dommages résultant d'un emballage
défectueux ou du transport, veuillez vous adresser à la hotline du service
après-vente (cf. le chapitre «Service après-vente»).
Recyclage de l'emballage
L'emballage protège l'appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du transport.
Les matériaux d'emballage sont sélectionnés selon des critères écologiques et de
solutions de recyclage et peuvent par conséquent être recyclés.
Le retour de l'emballage dans les fi lières de recyclage permet d'économiser les
matières premières et réduit la formation de déchets. Remettre les matériaux
d'emballage qui ne sont plus utilisés dans les points de collecte prévus par la
réglementation.

Dans la mesure du possible, conservez l'emballage d'origine pendant la

période sous garantie, afi n de pouvoir emballer l'appareil en bonne et
due forme pour l'expédition si vous étiez amené à faire valoir la garantie.

Avant le lissage
■ Les cheveux doivent être propres, secs, et exempts de produits coiff ants.
L'exception à cette règle sont les produits spéciaux qui contribuent au
lissage des cheveux.
■ Peignez soigneusement vos cheveux avant le lissage afi n de n'avoir aucun
nœud dans les cheveux.
Opération
Préparation
REMARQUE
Les plaques chauff antes 6 ne doivent pas présenter de salissures. Le cas
►
échéant, nettoyez-les avant usage (cf. le chapitre «Nettoyage»).
L'appareil est verrouillé, la fermeture 4 est enclenchée sur le côté
1) Enfi chez la fi che secteur dans une prise électrique.
2) Appuyez sur la touche Marche/Arrêt 3 jusqu'à ce que l'écran 1 soit
allumé. L'écran 1 indique la température réglée. La couleur de l'écran 1
indique si la température a déjà été atteinte :
– rouge : la température n'est pas encore atteinte.
– bleu : la température réglée est atteinte.
3) Sélectionnez la température adaptée pour votre chevelure :
– 130 - 140°C, degré de chauff age minimal, pour les cheveux très fi ns.
– 140 - 160°C, niveau de chauff age faible, pour les cheveux fi ns.
– 160 - 180°C, niveau de chauff age moyen, pour les cheveux normaux.
– 180°C- MAX, niveau de chauff age supérieur, pour les cheveux épais et
diffi ciles à coiff er.
Appuyez sur la touche température 2 au niveau du côté marqué par «+»
pour augmenter la température. Appuyez sur la touche température 2 au
niveau du côté marqué par «-» pour réduire la température.

4) Dès que l'écran 1 se colore en bleu, la température réglée est atteinte.
5) Rabattez les plaques chauff antes 6 en faisant rentrer en même temps la fermeture 4 sur le côté
REMARQUE
Cet appareil dispose d'une fonction Memory. Cela signifi e qu'à chaque
►
mise en marche, la température réglée lors de la dernière utilisation est
indiquée comme température de départ.
Lissage des cheveux
REMARQUE
Ce lisseur de cheveux est doté d'une fonction d'ionisation. La fonction
►
«générateur d'ions» assure la neutralisation et la disparition de ces charges
électrostatiques. La chevelure s'assouplit, devient brillante, disciplinée et
plus facile à travailler. La fonction «générateur d'ions» est automatiquement
enclenchée dès que vous utilisez le lisseur à cheveux.
1) Préparez la chevelure conformément à la description «Avant le lissage».
2) Commencez par les parties inférieures derrière la tête. Remontez vers l'avant
en passant par les côtés :
partagez une mèche de cheveux d'une largeur d'env. 2 cm et coincez l'extrémité fermement entre l'index et le majeur de la main avec laquelle vous ne
tenez pas le lisseur à cheveux.
AVERTISSEMENT ! RISQUE D'ACCIDENT !
► Veillez à ne pas toucher le cuir chevelu avec les plaques chauff antes 6.
Risque de brûlure ! En cours d'opération, saisissez l'appareil uniquement à
la poignée ! Risque de brûlure !
3) Prenez les mèches qui se trouvent à proximité du cuir chevelu et serrez-les
entre les plaques chauff antes 6.
4) Tirez l'ensemble de la mèche de cheveux à travers les plaques chauff antes 6,
en tirant le lisseur à cheveux rapidement des racines vers les pointes.
5) Procédez ainsi avec chaque mèche de cheveux individuelle.
6) Une fois que vous avez lissé toutes les mèches, appuyez sur la touche
Marche/arrêt 3 jusqu'à ce que l'écran 1 s'éteigne. OFF apparaît sur
l'écran 1 et l'indication HOT clignote jusqu'à ce que l'appareil se soit
refroidi.
7) Retirez la fi che secteur de la prise. Tous les affi chages s'eff acent.
8) Rabattez les plaques chauff antes 6 en faisant rentrer en même temps la
fermeture 4 sur le côté

Arrêt de sécurité
Cet appareil est doté d'un arrêt de sécurité.
Après env. 30 minutes sans avoir activé de touche, l'appareil s'éteint automatiquement. Après env. 25 minutes, l'écran 1 commence à clignoter en rouge et bleu,
pour vous rappeler que l'arrêt automatique a été enclenché. Si l'affi chage s'est
éteint après 30 minutes, «Auto-Off » et «hot» s'affi chent sur l'écran.
Si vous souhaitez utiliser l'appareil pendant plus de 30 minutes, appuyez, avant
que les 30 minutes ne soient écoulées, sur l'une des touches au choix. Le compte
à rebours de 30 minutes recommence au début.
REMARQUE
L'arrêt de sécurité ne remplace pas l'arrêt manuel avec la touche Marche/
►
arrêt 3 ! Elle ne sert qu'à votre sécurité, si vous avez oublié d'éteindre !
Nettoyage
RISQUE DE CHOC ÉLECTRIQUE
Avant de nettoyer l'appareil, retirez toujours la fi che de la prise secteur.
►
► Lors d'un nettoyage ne plonger en aucun cas l'appareil dans l'eau ou tout
autre liquide !
ATTENTION - RISQUE D'ACCIDENT !
► Laisser l'appareil se refroidir suffi samment avant le nettoyage.
ATTENTION - RISQUE DE DÉGÂTS MATÉRIELS !
Ne pas utiliser de produits détergents agressifs ou de solvants. Ces derniers
►
peuvent endommager la surface.
1) Essuyer l'appareil avec un chiff on humide.
2) En cas de salissures tenaces, veuillez mettre un produit détergent doux sur le
chiff on. Veillez à retirer les résidus de produit nettoyant à l'aide d'un chiff on
humidifi é à l'eau.
3) Laissez bien sécher l'appareil, avant de l'utiliser à nouveau.

Rangement
■ Pour le laisser refroidir, posez toujours l'appareil sur une surface insensible
à la chaleur ou suspendez l'appareil au niveau de l'œillet de suspension.
Si vous n'utilisez pas l'appareil pendant une période prolongée :
■ Nettoyez l'appareil comme indiqué au chapitre «Nettoyage».
■ Rabattez les plaques chauff antes 6 en faisant rentrer en même temps la
fermeture sur le côté 4.
■ Conservez l'appareil dans un endroit sec et propre.

Mise au rebut
Ne jetez en aucun l'appareil dans les déchets normaux.

Veuillez conserver le ticket de caisse en guise de preuve d'achat. Dans le cas où
la garantie s'applique, veuillez appeler le service après-vente compétent.
Cette condition doit être respectée pour assurer l'expédition gratuite de votre
marchandise.
REMARQUE
Le produit est uniquement destiné à un usage privé, à l'exclusion de tout usage

Veiligheidsvoorschriften
GEVAAR VOOR ELEKTRISCHE SCHOK
Sluit het apparaat aan op een volgens de voorschriften geïnstalleerd stop-
►
contact met een netspanning van 220 - 240 V ~ / 50 Hz.
► Het netsnoer van het apparaat kan niet worden vervangen. Als het snoer
beschadigd is, moet het apparaat afgevoerd worden.
► Haal bij storing van het apparaat en voordat u het apparaat schoonmaakt
de netstekker uit het stopcontact.
► Trek het netsnoer altijd aan de netstekker uit het stopcontact, trek niet aan
het snoer zelf.
► Knik of plet het netsnoer niet en leidt het netsnoer zodanig dat niemand
erop kan gaan staan of erover kan struikelen.
► Let erop dat bij gebruik van het apparaat het netsnoer niet nat of vochtig
wordt. Leid het snoer zodanig dat het niet bekneld of beschadigd kan
raken.
► Als het apparaat, het netsnoer of de netstekker beschadigd is, laat u deze
door de klantendienst vervangen, om risico's te vermijden.
► Gebruik het apparaat niet in de openlucht.
► Wikkel het netsnoer niet om het apparaat en bescherm het tegen beschadi-
gingen. U mag het apparaat in geen geval onderdompelen in een vloeistof
en geen vloeistoff en in de apparaatbehuizing laten binnendringen. Stel het
apparaat niet bloot aan vocht en gebruik het niet in de openlucht. Mocht
er toch een keer vloeistof in de behuizing van het apparaat komen, haal dan
direct de stekker van het apparaat uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat
door gekwalifi ceerd vakkundig personeel repareren.
► Knik of beklem het netsnoer niet en leg het zo dat niemand erop kan stappen
of erover kan struikelen.
► Gebruik geen verlengsnoer, om in noodgevallen snel de netstekker in het
stopcontact te kunnen bereiken.
► Pak het apparaat, het netsnoer en de netstekker nooit met natte handen
vast.
► Koppel het apparaat meteen na gebruik los van het lichtnet. Alleen wanneer
u de netstekker uit het stopcontact trekt, is het apparaat helemaal spannings-
loos.

Gebruik het apparaat nooit in de buurt van water, vooral niet in
de buurt van wasbakken, badkuipen of vergelijkbare objecten.
De nabijheid van water vormt een gevaar, ook als het apparaat
is uitgeschakeld. Haal daarom na elk gebruik de stekker uit het
stopcontact. Als extra beveiliging adviseren wij het installeren van
een lekstroombeveiliging met een nominale uitschakelstroom van
niet meer dan 30 mA in het stroomcircuit van de badkamer. Vraag
uw elektro-installateur om advies .
WAARSCHUWING! LETSELGEVAAR!
► Laat het ingeschakelde apparaat nooit zonder toezicht achter.
► Leg het apparaat nooit weg in de nabijheid van warmtebronnen en be-
scherm het netsnoer tegen beschadiging.
► Als het apparaat gevallen of beschadigd is, mag u het niet verder gebruiken.
Laat het apparaat door deskundig personeel nakijken en eventueel repareren.
► U mag de behuizing van het apparaat niet zelf openen of repareren. In dat
geval is de veiligheid niet gegarandeerd en vervalt de garantie. Laat het
apparaat als het defect is uitsluitend door bevoegd, deskundig personeel
repareren.
► Het apparaat wordt tijdens het gebruik heet. Pak het apparaat, als het heet
is, uitsluitend bij de handgreep vast.
► Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (met inbegrip
van kinderen) met beperkte fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens
of met gebrek aan ervaring en/of gebrek aan kennis, tenzij ze onder
toezicht staan van een voor hun veiligheid verantwoordelijke persoon of
van die persoon aanwijzingen krijgen voor het gebruik van het apparaat.
Bij kinderen is supervisie noodzakelijk om er voor te zorgen dat ze niet met
het apparaat spelen.

Inhoud van het pakket
Het apparaat wordt standaard met de volgende componenten geleverd:

▯ Gebruiksaanwijzing
1) Haal alle onderdelen van het apparaat en de gebruiksaanwijzing uit de
verpakking.
2) Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal.
3) Reinig alle onderdelen van het apparaat zoals beschreven in het hoofdstuk
“Reinigen”.

Controleer of de levering compleet is en of er sprake is van zichtbare

schade.
► In geval de levering niet compleet is of indien er sprake is van schade
door gebrekkige verpakking of door transport, neemt u contact op met
de Service-Hotline (zie hoofdstuk “Service”).
De verpakking afvoeren
De verpakking beschermt het apparaat tegen transportschade. De verpakkingsmaterialen zijn gekozen vanwege milieu- en afvoertechnische aspecten. Ze zijn
daarom recyclebaar.
Het terugvoeren van de verpakking in de materiaalkringloop is een besparing
op grondstoff en en reduceert het ontstaan van afval. Voer niet meer benodigde
verpakkingsmaterialen af conform de plaatselijk geldende voorschriften.

■ Het haar moet schoon en droog zijn en vrij van stylingproducten. Uitgezonderd
zijn speciale producten die het gladstrijken van het haar bevorderen.
■ Kam het haar voor gebruik van de straightener grondig om alle klitten te
verwijderen.

Het apparaat is vergrendeld, de vergrendeling 4 is aan de kant
1) Steek de netstekker in een stopcontact.
2) Druk zo lang op de toets Aan/Uit 3 tot het display 1 oplicht. Het display 1
geeft de ingestelde temperatuur aan. De kleur van het display 1 geeft aan
of de temperatuur al is bereikt:
– rood: de temperatuur is nog niet bereikt.
– blauw: de ingestelde temperatuur is bereikt.
3) Kies de juiste temperatuur voor uw haar:
– 130 - 140°C: minimale verwarmingsstand, voor zeer fi jn haar.
– 140 - 160°C: lage verwarmingsstand, voor fi jn haar.
– 160 - 180°C: gemiddelde verwarmingsstand, voor normaal haar.
– 180°C- MAX: hoogste verwarmingsstand, voor stevig en moeilijk in
model te brengen haar.
Druk op de toets Temperatuur 2 op de met “+” gemarkeerde kant om de
temperatuur te verhogen. Druk op de toets Temperatuur 2 op de met “-”
gemarkeerde kant om de temperatuur te verlagen.

Dit apparaat heeft een geheugenfunctie. Dit houdt in dat bij het inschakelen

de bij het laatste gebruik ingestelde temperatuur als starttemperatuur geldt.
Haar steil maken
OPMERKING
Deze straightener heeft een ioniseringsfunctie. De ioniseringsfunctie zorgt
►
ervoor dat statische lading van het haar wordt geneutraliseerd en opgeheven.
Het haar wordt zacht, soepel, glanzend en makkelijker te stylen.
De ioniseringsfunctie wordt automatisch ingeschakeld zodra u de straightener
gebruikt.
1) Prepareer het haar zoals is beschreven bij “Vóór gebruik”.
2) Begin met de onderste haarlokken op het achterhoofd. Werk langs de
zijkanten van het hoofd naar voren:
Neem een ca. 2 cm brede haarstreng en pak deze stevig vast tussen wijsen middelvinger met de hand waarmee u niet de straightener vasthoudt.
WAARSCHUWING! LETSELGEVAAR!
► Pas op, dat u de hoofdhuid niet aanraakt met de verwarmingsplaten 6.
Verbrandingsgevaar! U mag het apparaat tijdens gebruik alleen aan de
greep vastpakken! Verbrandingsgevaar!
3) Klem de haarstreng dichtbij de hoofdhuid tussen de verwarmingsplaten 6
en druk deze samen.
4) Trek de hele haarstreng door de verwarmingsplaten 6, door de straightener
snel vanaf de haarinzet naar de haarpunten omlaag te trekken .
5) Ga met alle strengen op deze manier te werk.
6) Wanneer u alle strengen steil hebt gemaakt, drukt u zo lang op de toets
Aan/Uit 3 tot de verlichting van het display 1 uitgaat. Op het display 1
verschijnt OFF en de indicatie HOT knippert tot het apparaat is afgekoeld.
7) Trek de netstekker uit het stopcontact. Alle display-indicaties verdwijnen.
8) Druk de verwarmingsplaten 6 samen en druk de vergrendeling 4 aan
de kant

Veiligheidsuitschakeling
Dit apparaat is voorzien van een veiligheidsuitschakeling.
Na ca. 30 minuten zonder toetsdruk gaat het apparaat automatisch uit. Na ca.
25 minuten begint het display 1 afwisselend rood en blauw te knipperen, om
u aan de automatische uitschakeling te herinneren. Wanneer het display na
30 minuten is uitgeschakeld, verschijnt op het display “Auto-Off ” en “hot”.
Wanneer u het apparaat langer dan 30 minuten wilt gebruiken, drukt u op een
willekeurige toets voordat de 30 minuten verstreken zijn. De 30 minuten beginnen
dan weer opnieuw.
OPMERKING
De veiligheidsuitschakeling komt niet in de plaats van handmatig uitschakelen
►
met de toets Aan/Uit 3! De veiligheidsuitschakeling dient uitsluitend voor
uw veiligheid, voor het geval dat het uitschakelen wordt vergeten!
Reinigen

Voordat u het apparaat reinigt, haalt u altijd eerst de stekker uit het stop-

contact.
► U mag het apparaat bij het reinigen in geen geval in water of andere
vloeistoff en onderdompelen!

► Laat het apparaat voldoende afkoelen voordat u het schoonmaakt.

Gebruik geen agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen of oplosmiddelen. Deze

1) Veeg het apparaat schoon met een vochtige doek.
2) Bij hardnekkig vuil doet u een mild schoonmaakmiddel op de doek. Verwijder
schoonmaakmiddelresten met een met water bevochtigde doek.
3) Laat het apparaat goed opdrogen voordat u het weer gebruikt.

maken op de garantie, neem dan telefonisch contact op met uw serviceadres.
Alleen op die manier is een kosteloze verzending van uw product gegarandeerd.
OPMERKING
Het product is uitsluitend bestemd voor privégebruik en niet voor bedrijfsmatige

Sicherheitshinweise
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Netzsteck-
►
dose mit einer Netzspannung von 220 - 240 V ~ / 50 Hz an.
► Die Netzanschlussleitung dieses Gerätes kann nicht ersetzt werden. Bei
Beschädigung der Leitung ist das Gerät zu verschrotten.
► Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen, und bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, den
Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose,
ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel selbst.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und verlegen Sie das
Netzkabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder darüber stolpern kann.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht nass oder feucht
wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt oder beschädigt werden
kann.
► Sollte das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker beschädigt sein,
lassen Sie diese durch den Kundendienst ersetzen, um Gefährdungen zu
vermeiden.
► Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien.
► Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht um das Gerät und schützen Sie es vor Be-
schädigungen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keinesfalls in eine Flüssigkeit tauchen
und keine Flüssigkeiten in das Gerätegehäuse gelangen lassen. Sie dürfen
das Gerät keiner Feuchtigkeit aussetzen und nicht im Freien benutzen. Falls
doch einmal Flüssigkeit in das Gerätegehäuse gelangt, ziehen Sie sofort
den Netzstecker des Geräts aus der Netzsteckdose und lassen Sie es von
qualifi ziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und verlegen Sie es so,
dass niemand darauf treten oder darüber stolpern kann.
► Verwenden Sie kein Verlängerungskabel, damit im Notfall der Netzstecker
schnell zu erreichen ist.
► Fassen Sie das Gerät, Netzkabel und -stecker nie mit nassen Händen an.
► Trennen Sie das Gerät sofort nach dem Gebrauch vom Stromnetz. Nur
wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose ziehen, ist es vollständig
stromfrei.

Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe von Wasser,
insbesondere nicht in der Nähe von Waschbecken, Badewannen
oder ähnlichen Gefäßen. Die Nähe von Wasser stellt eine Gefahr

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoff e und

■ Das Haar sollte sauber, trocken und frei von Stylingprodukten sein. Ausge-
nommen sind spezielle Produkte, die das Glätten des Haares unterstützen.
■ Kämmen Sie das Haar vor dem Glätten gründlich, damit sich keine Knoten
im Haar befi nden.

Das Gerät ist verriegelt, die Verriegelung 4 ist an der Seite
1) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.
2) Drücken Sie die Taste Ein/Aus 3 solange, bis das Display 1 leuchtet. Das
Display 1 zeigt die eingestellte Temperatur an. Die Farbe des Displays 1
zeigt, ob die Temperatur schon erreicht ist:
– rot: die Temperatur ist noch nicht erreicht.
– blau: die eingestellte Temperatur ist erreicht.
3) Wählen Sie die für Ihre Haare passende Temperatur:
– 130 - 140°C, minimale Heizstufe, für sehr feines Haar.
– 140 - 160°C, niedrige Heizstufe, für feines Haar.
– 160 - 180°C, mittlere Heizstufe, für normales Haar.
– 180°C- MAX, höchste Heizstufe, für kräftiges und schwer in Form zu
bringendes Haar.
Drücken Sie die Taste Temperatur 2 an der mit „+“ markierten Seite, um die
Temperatur zu erhöhen. Drücken Sie die Taste Temperatur 2 an der mit „-“

Haare glätten
HINWEIS
Dieser Haarglätter ist mit einer Ionisierungs-Funktion ausgestattet. Die Ioni-

sierungs-Funktion sorgt dafür, dass statische Ladung der Haare neutralisiert
und aufgehoben wird. Das Haar wird weich, geschmeidig, glänzend und
leichter zu frisieren. Die Ionisierungs-Funktion wird automatsich eingeschaltet, sobald Sie den Haarglätter benutzen.
1) Bereiten Sie das Haar, wie unter „Vor dem Glätten“ beschrieben, vor.
2) Fangen Sie mit den unteren Haarpartien am Hinterkopf an. Arbeiten Sie sich
über die Seiten nach vorne:

► Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie mit den Heizplatten 6 nicht die Kopfhaut be-
rühren. Verbrennungsgefahr! Sie dürfen während des Betriebes das Gerät
nur am Griff anfassen! Verbrennungsgefahr!
3) Klemmen Sie die Haarsträhne nahe der Kopfhaut zwischen die Heizplatten
6 und drücken Sie diese zusammen.
4) Ziehen Sie die ganze Haarsträhne durch die Heizplatten 6, indem Sie den
Haarglätter zügig vom Haaransatz zu den Spitzen nach unten ziehen.
5) Verfahren Sie so mit jeder einzelnen Strähne.
6) Wenn Sie alle Strähnen geglättet haben, drücken Sie die Taste Ein/Aus 3
solange, bis die Beleuchtung des Displays 1 erlischt. OFF erscheint im Display 1 und die Anzeige HOT blinkt solange, bis sich das Gerät abgekühlt
hat.
7) Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose. Alle Displayanzeigen
erlöschen.
8) Drücken Sie die Heizplatten 6 zusammen und drücken Sie die Verriegelung
4 an der Seite

Sicherheits-Abschaltung
Dieses Gerät ist mit einer Sicherheits-Abschaltung ausgestattet.
Nach ca. 30 Minuten ohne Betätigung einer Taste schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus. Nach ca. 25 Minuten beginnt das Display 1 abwechselnd rot und
blau zu blinken, um Sie an die automatische Abschaltung zu erinnern. Wenn sich
das Display nach 30 Minuten ausgeschaltet hat, erscheint im Display „Auto-Off “
und „hot“.
Wenn Sie das Gerät länger als 30 Minuten benutzen wollen, betätigen Sie, vor
Ablauf der 30 Minuten, eine beliebige Taste. Die 30 Minuten beginnen dann
von vorne.

Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Connect the appliance only to mains power sockets supplying a mains

power voltage of 220 - 240 V ~ / 50 Hz.
► The power cable on this appliance cannot be replaced. In the event of it
being damaged the whole appliance must be disposed of.
► In the event of operating malfunctions, and before cleaning the appliance,
disconnect the plug from the mains power socket.
► To disconnect the power cable, always pull the plug from the socket, do
not pull the power cable itself.
► Do not crimp or crush the power cable and lay it in such a way as to
prevent anyone from stepping on or tripping over it.
► Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or moist during use.
Place it such that it cannot be crushed or damaged.
► Should the appliance, the power cable or the plug become damaged,

Disposal of the packaging

Before straightening
■ The hair should be clean, dry and free of styling products. Excepted are the
special products that support a straightening of the hair.
■ Comb the hair thoroughly before straightening so that there are no knots in it.

The hotplates 6 must be free from contamination of all kinds. If necessary,

clean them before taking them into use (see chapter "Cleaning").
The appliance is locked, the locking device 4 is pressed in on the side
1) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.
2) Press and hold the On/Off button 3 until the display 1 is illuminated. The
display 1 shows the programmed temperature. The colour of the display 1
indicates whether the temperature has already been reached:
– red: the temperature has not yet been reached.
– blue: the programmed temperature has been reached.
3) Select the appropriate temperature for your hair:
– 130 - 140°C, minimum heat level, for very fi ne hair.
– 140 - 160°C, low heat level, for fi ne hair.
– 160 - 180°C, medium heat level, for normal hair.
– 180°C- MAX, highest heat level, for thick or diffi cult to shape hair.
Press the temperature button 2 on the side marked "+" to increase the

function ensures that a static charging of the hair is neutralised and cancelled. The hair becomes soft, supple, shiny and easier to style. The ionisation function is activated automatically when you use the Hair Straightener.
1) Prepare the hair as described in "Before straightening".
2) Start with the lower hair segments at the back of the head. Work over the
sides to the front:
Separate a 2 cm wide strand of hair and then hold the end fi rmly between
the index and middle fi ngers of the hand with which you are not guiding the
Hair Straightener.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Ensure that the hotplates 6 do not make contact with the skin of the head.
Risk of Burns! During operation, you may only take hold of the appliance
by the handle! Risk of Burns!
3) Clamp the hair strand between the hotplates 6 close to the skin and then
press them together.
4) Pull the whole strand of hair through the heating plates 6 by pulling the
straightener down quickly from the roots to the tips .
5) Repeat the process with each individual strand.
6) When you have smoothed all of the strands, press and hold the On/Off
button 3 until the display lighting 1 switches off . OFF appears in the display 1 and the indicator HOT fl ashes until the appliance has cooled down.
7) Remove the plug from the mains power socket. All display indicators are
extinguished.
8) Press the hot plates 6 together and then press the locking device 4 on the
side

Safety switch off
This appliance is equipped with a safety switch off .
After about 30 minutes without activation of a button, the appliance will switch
off automatically. After about 25 minutes, the display 1 begins to blink alternatively red and blue, to remind you of the automatic switch off . If the display has
switched itself off after 30 minutes, the display indicates "Auto Off " and "hot".
If you wish to use the appliance for more than 30 minutes, before the 30 minutes
have lapsed press any button. The 30 minute period then starts over again.
NOTICE
The safety switch-off does not replace manual switching off with the On/

Off button 3! It serves only for your safety, if the routine switching off is
forgotten!

Storage
If you do not intend to use the appliance for some time:
■ When the appliance is cooling down, always place it on a heat-resistant
surface or hang the appliance up by the suspension loop.
■ Clean the appliance as described in the section "Cleaning".
■ Press the hot plates 6 together and then press the locking device 4 on the
side in.
■ Store the appliance at a clean and dry location.
