You have selected a high-quality product. The operating instructions are part

of this product. They contain important information about safety, usage and
disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all operating
and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and for the range of
applications specifi ed. Please also pass these operating instructions on to any
future owner.

Intended use

This hair straightener is intended for straightening human hair only. Under no cir­cumstances is it to be used for wigs or hairpieces made of synthetic material. This
appliance is intended exclusively for private use. Pay heed to all of the informa­tion in this operating manual, especially the safety instructions. This appliance is
not intended for commercial applications.

The appliance is not intended for any other purpose, nor for use beyond the
scope described. No claims of any kind will be accepted for damage arising
as a result of incorrect use. The risk shall be borne solely by the user.

Safety information

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

► Connect the appliance only to mains power sockets supply-

ing a mains power voltage of 120–240 V ~, 50/60 Hz.

► Remove the plug from the mains power socket in event of

operating malfunctions and before cleaning the appliance.

► To disconnect the power cable, always pull the plug from the

socket; do not pull the power cable itself.

► Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or damp

during use. Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be
crushed or damaged.

► If the appliance, the power cable or the plug are damaged,

arrange for them to be repaired by Customer Services to
avoid the risk of injury.

► Do not use the appliance outdoors.
► Do not use extension cables – they will make it diffi cult to

disconnect the appliance quickly in an emergency.

► Never touch the appliance, the power cable or the power

plug with wet hands.

► Do not kink or crush the power cable, and route the cable so

that it cannot be stepped on or tripped over.

► Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance, and

protect it from being damaged. Under no circumstances
should the appliance be submersed in liquids or liquids be
allowed to penetrate the housing. Do not expose the appli­ance to humidity and do not use it outdoors. If any liquid
enters the housing, disconnect the appliance from the mains
power socket immediately and have it repaired by a quali­fi ed technician.

► Unplug the appliance immediately after use. The appliance is

completely free of electrical power ONLY when unplugged.

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

Never use the appliance near water, and keep it away
from sinks, baths and other similar containers. The proximity
of water is hazardous, even if the appliance is switched
off . Always disconnect the plug from the mains power
socket after use. For additional protection, we recommend
you install a residual current circuit-breaker with an activation
power rating of no more than 30 mA for the power circuit
in the bathroom. Ask your electrician for advice.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► Never leave a switched-on appliance unsupervised.
► Never place the appliance close to sources of heat, and

always protect the power cable from damage.

► Do not operate the appliance if it has been dropped or is

damaged in any way. Have the appliance checked and/or
repaired by qualifi ed technicians if necessary.

► This appliance may be used by children of the age of 8

years or more and by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or
knowledge ONLY if they are being supervised or have been
instructed with regard to the safe use of the appliance and
have understood the potential risks.

► Children must not play with the appliance.
► Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by

children unless they are under supervision.

► Do not open the housing or attempt to repair the appliance

yourself. This can lead to risks and also invalidates the warran­ty. Defective appliances should be repaired by authorized
specialists only.

► The appliance heats up during use. Always hold the appli-

ance by its grip when it is hot.

Package contents

The appliance is supplied with the following components as standard:

1) Remove all parts of the appliance and the operating instructions from the
carton.

2) Remove all packaging material.

3) Clean all parts of the appliance as described in the section entitled “Clean­ing”.

NOTE

Check the package for completeness and signs of visible damage.

► If any items are missing or damaged as a result of defective packaging

or transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see chapter "Service").

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The pack­aging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease
of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.

Returning the packaging into the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging materials that
are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

NOTE

If possible, keep the original packaging during the warranty period so

that the appliance can be properly packed for returning in the event of a
warranty claim.

Before straightening

■ The hair should be clean, dry and free of styling products. The only exception

to this are special products which facilitate hair straightening.

■ Comb the hair thoroughly before straightening so that there are no knots in it.

Automatic switch-off

This appliance is fi tted with an automatic switch-off system. After 30 minutes, the
appliance will switch itself off automatically. After approx. 25 minutes the indicator
lamp 2 starts to fl ash, to remind you it is about to switch off automatically. If you
want to continue using the appliance, switch it off for a moment and then back
on again.

NOTE

►

The automatic switch-off is a safety function only and is not intended as
a replacement for switching the appliance off properly using the on/off
switch 1!

Operation

NOTE

The hotplates 5 must be free of dirt. Clean them before use if required

►

(see section "Cleaning").

The appliance is secured with the catch 3. Press the hotplates 5 together and
pull the catch 3 out. Now you can open the hair straightener all the way.

1) Insert the plug into a mains power socket.

2) To switch the appliance on, slide the ON/OFF switch 1 forwards (On/1).
The indicator light 2 starts to fl ash red and the appliance starts to heat
up. After about 1 minute, the hair straightener will have heated up and the
indicator light 2 lights up red.

3) When you have fi nished styling your hair, push the ON/OFF switch 1 back­wards (Off /0). The indicator light 2 goes out. Pull out the plug and allow
the appliance to cool down completely.

Straightening hair

1) Prepare the hair as described in “Before straightening”.

2) Start with the lower sections of hair at the back of your head. Work around
the sides to the front. Take a strand with a width of approximately 2cm and
hold its end tightly between your index and middle fi nger of the hand that is
not holding the hair straightener.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!

► Ensure that the hotplates 5 do not touch your scalp. Risk of burns! During

operation, touch the appliance only on the handles. Risk of burns!

3) Clamp the strand near the root between the hotplates 5 and press them
together.

4) Pull the entire strand through the hotplates 5 by pulling the hair straightener
quickly downwards from the root to the tips.

5) Proceed in the same way for every strand.

6) Once you have straightened all the strands, switch the appliance off and pull
the power plug from the mains power socket.

7) Allow the appliance to cool down completely.

8) Press the hotplates 5 together and push the catch 3 back in.

Cleaning

1) Wipe the housing and the hotplates 5 with a damp cloth.

2) For stubborn soiling use a mild detergent on the cloth. Wipe off any detergent

Warranty

This appliance is provided with a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase.
This appliance has been manufactured with care and inspected meticulously
prior to delivery.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim,
please contact your Customer Service unit by telephone. This is the only way to
guarantee free return of your goods.

NOTE

This appliance is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifi cations/repairs which have not been carried out by one of
our authorised Service centres.

Your statutory rights are not restricted by this warranty. The warranty period
is not prolonged by repairs eff ected under the warranty. This also applies to
replaced and repaired components.

Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported im­mediately after unpacking, but no later than two days after the date of purchase.

Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to charge.

Vásárlásával kiváló minőségű termék mellett döntött. A használati utasítás a

termék része. Fontos tudnivalókat tartalmaz a biztonságra, használatra és ártal­matlanításra vonatkozóan. A termék használata előtt ismerkedjen meg valameny­nyi használati útmutatóval és biztonsági fi gyelmeztetéssel. Csak a leírtak szerint
és a megadott célokra használja a készüléket. A készülék harmadik személynek
történő továbbadása esetén adja át a készülékhez tartozó valamennyi leírást is.

A hajsimító csak emberi haj simítására szolgál, semmi esetre sem használható
parókákhoz és szintetikus anyagból készült póthajhoz. A készülék kizárólag
magáncélra használható. Vegye fi gyelembe a jelen használati útmutatóban
található információkat, különösen a biztonsági utasításokat. A készülék nem
alkalmas ipari használatra.

Más vagy ezen túlmenő használat rendeltetésellenesnek minősül. Semmilyen,
a nem rendeltetésszerű használatból eredő kárigény nem érvényesíthető.
A kockázatot egyedül a felhasználó viseli.

Biztonsági utasítások

ÁRAMÜTÉS VESZÉLYE

► A készüléket kizárólag az előírásoknak megfelelően tele-

pített és 120 - 240 V ~, 50/60 Hz hálózati feszültségű
csatlakozóaljzathoz csatlakoztassa.

► Üzemzavar esetén és a készülék tisztítása előtt húzza ki a

csatlakozót a konnektorból.

► A hálózati kábelt mindig a hálózati csatlakozónál és soha

ne a kábelnél fogva húzza ki a hálózati aljzatból.

► Figyeljen arra, hogy használat közben a hálózati kábel ne

legyen vizes vagy nedves. Úgy helyezze el a kábelt, hogy az
ne szoruljon be, vagy más módon se sérülhessen meg.

► Amennyiben a készülék, a hálózati kábel vagy a csatlakozó

meg van sérülve, cseréltesse ki a vevőszolgálattal, hogy
elkerülje a veszélyeket.

► Ne használja a készüléket a szabadban.
► Ne használjon hosszabbítót, hogy a csatlakozó vészhelyzetben

gyorsan elérhető legyen.

► Ne fogja meg nedves kézzel az eszközt, a hálózati kábelt

és a hálózati csatlakozót.

► Ne törje meg és ne csípje be a hálózati kábelt, valamint

úgy igazítsa el, hogy senki ne léphessen rá és botolhasson
fel benne.

► Ne tekerje a vezetéket a készülék köré és védje a sérülé-

sektől. A készüléket semmi esetre sem szabad folyadékba
meríteni és hagyni, hogy folyadék kerüljön a készülékház­ba. Védje a készüléket a nedvességtől és ne használja a
szabadban. Ha mégis folyadék kerülne a készülékházba,
azonnal húzza ki a készülék hálózati csatlakozóját a csatla­kozóaljzatból és javíttassa meg képzett szakemberrel.

► Használat után azonnal válassza le a hálózatról a készüléket.

A készülék csak akkor teljesen árammentes, ha a csatlakozót
kihúzta a csatlakozóaljzatból.

ÁRAMÜTÉS VESZÉLYE

Soha ne használja a készüléket víz, különösen mosdó­kagyló, fürdőkád vagy hasonló helyek közelében. A víz
közelsége még kikapcsolt készüléknél is veszélyt jelent.
Ezért minden használat után húzza ki a hálózati csatlako­zódugót. Kiegészítő védelemként javasolt egy legfeljebb
30 mA érzékenységű hibaáram-védőkapcsoló beszerelése
a fürdőszoba áramkörébe. Kérje villamossági szakember
tanácsát.

FIGYELMEZTETÉS! SÉRÜLÉSVESZÉLY!

► A bekapcsolt készüléket soha ne hagyja felügyelet nélkül.
► A készüléket soha ne helyezze hőforrás közelébe és védje a

vezetéket a sérülésektől.

► Ha a készülék leesett vagy megsérült, nem szabad tovább

használni. Ellenőriztesse a készüléket szakképzett szakem­berrel és szükség esetén javíttassa meg.

► A készüléket 8 éves kor feletti gyermekek és csökkent fi zikai,

érzékszervi vagy mentális képességű vagy tapasztalattal
és/vagy tudással nem rendelkező személyek csak felügye­let mellett használhatják, vagy ha felvilágosították őket a
készülék biztonságos használatáról és megértették az ebből
eredő veszélyeket.

► Gyermekek nem játszhatnak a készülékkel.
► Felügyelet nélküli gyermekek nem végezhetnek karbantartási

és tisztítási munkát a készüléken.

► Tilos a készülék házát saját magának felnyitnia vagy javí-

tania. Ez nem biztonságos és a garancia is érvényét veszti.
Csak minősített szakemberrel javíttassa a készüléket.

► A készülék üzemelés közben felforrósodik. Forró állapotban

csak a nyelénél fogja meg.

A csomag tartalma

1) Vegye ki a kartonból a készülék valamennyi részét és a használati útmutatót!

2) Távolítsa el az összes csomagolóanyagot.

3) Tisztítsa meg a készülék minden részét a „Tisztítás“ részben leírtak szerint.

TUDNIVALÓ

Ellenőrizze a csomag tartalmát, hogy hiánytalan-e és nincs-e rajta látható

sérülés.

► Hiányos szállítás vagy a nem megfelelő csomagolásból eredő, illetve a

szállítás során keletkezett károk esetén forduljon az ügyfélszolgálathoz
(lásd a „Szerviz“ fejezetet).

A csomagolás ártalmatlanítása

A csomagolás védi a készüléket a sérülésektől a szállítás során. A csomago­lóanyagokat környezetbarát és hulladék ártalmatlanítási szempontok szerint
választottuk ki és ezért újrahasznosíthatók.

Nyersanyagot takarít meg és csökkenti a hulladékmennyiséget, ha a csomagolást
visszajuttatja a nyersanyag-körforgásba. A feleslegessé vált csomagolóanyagokat
a hatályos helyi előírásoknak megfelelően helyezze el a hulladékban.

Amennyiben lehetséges, őrizze meg az eredeti csomagolást a garancia

A simítás előtt

■ Haja legyen tiszta, száraz és ne legyen rajta semmilyen hajformázó szer.

Ez alól kivételt képeznek a haj simítását elősegítő speciális termékek.

■ Alaposan fésülje át a haját simítás előtt, hogy ne legyenek benne hajcsomók.

Automatikus kikapcsolás

A készülék automatikus kikapcsolással van felszerelve. 30 perc múlva a készülék

TUDNIVALÓ

A sütőlapokon 5 nem lehet szennyeződés. Használat előtt tisztítsa meg a

készüléket (lásd a „Tisztítás“ fejezetet).

A készüléket retesz 3 biztosítja. Nyomja össze a sütőlapokat 5 és húzza ki
a reteszt 3. A hajsimító így tágra kinyitható.

1) Csatlakoztassa a hálózati csatlakozódugót egy aljzatba.

2) A készülék bekapcsolásához nyomja előre (be/1) a BE/KI kapcsolót 1.
A jelzőlámpa 2 pirosan villogni kezd és jelzi a felfűtést. Kb. 1 perc múlva
felmelegszik a hajsimító és a jelzőlámpa 2 folyamatosan pirosan világít.

3) A hajformázás befejezését követően tolja a BE/KI kapcsolót 1 hátra (ki/0).
A jelzőlámpa 2 kialszik. Húzza ki a hálózati csatlakozódugót és hagyja
lehűlni a készüléket.

A haj simítása

1) Készítse elő a hajat a „Simítás előtt“ részben leírtak szerint.

2) Kezdje a hajsímítást a tarkó alsó hajrészein. Oldalról előrefelé dolgozzon.
Válasszon le egy kb. 2 cm széles hajtincset és csíptesse össze feszesen a
végét a hajtőnél annak a kezének a mutató és középső ujjával, amelyikben
nem tartja a hajsimítót.

FIGYELMEZTETÉS! SÉRÜLÉSVESZÉLY!

► Ügyeljen arra, hogy a sütőlapok 5 ne érjenek a fejbőrhöz. Égési sérülés

veszélye! Működés közben a készüléket csak a markolatnál szabad meg­fogni. Égési sérülés veszélye!

3) Csíptesse a hajtincset a fejbőr közelében a fűtőlapok 5 közé és nyomja
össze.

4) Húzza át az egész hajtincset a sütőlapon 5, olyan módon, hogy a hajsimítót
gyorsan lefelé húzza a hajtőtől a hajvégekig.

5) Tegye ezt minden egyes hajtinccsel.

6) Ha minden hajtincs sima, akkor kapcsolja ki a készüléket és húzza ki a
csatlakozódugót a csatlakozóaljzatból.

7) Hagyja teljesen lehűlni a készüléket.

8) Nyomja össze a sütőlapokat 5 és tolja be ismét a reteszt 3.

Touto kúpou ste sa rozhodli pre výrobok vysokej kvality. Návod naobsluhu je

súčasťou tohto výrobku. Obsahuje dôležité upozornenia týkajúce sa bezpečnosti,
používania alikvidácie. Pred používaním výrobku sa oboznámte sovšetkými
pokynmi na obsluhu abezpečnostnými pokynmi. Výrobok používajte iba podľa
popisu a vuvedených oblastiach použitia. Pri postúpení výrobku tretej osobe
odovzdajte spolu sním aj všetky dokumenty.

Bezpečnostné pokyny

NEBEZPEČENSTVO ZASIAHNUTIA

ELEKTRICKÝM PRÚDOM

► Prístroj zapojte len do elektrickej zásuvky snapätím 120 –

240 V ~, 50/60 Hz, inštalovanej podľa predpisov.

► Pri prevádzkových poruchách apred čistením prístroja vy-

tiahnite zástrčku z elektrickej zásuvky.

► Sieťový kábel vyťahujte zosieťovej zásuvky vždy držaním za

zástrčku, nikdy neťahajte za samotný kábel.

► Dbajte na to, aby sieťový kábel počas prevádzky nenamo-

kol ani nezvlhol. Veďte ho tak, aby sa nikde nemohol zovrieť
alebo inak poškodiť.

► Ak prístroj, sieťový kábel alebo zástrčka vykazujú známky po-

škodenia, nechajte ich pred opätovným používaním vymeniť
vzákazníckom servise, aby ste zabránili nebezpečenstvu.

► Nepoužívajte prístroj vonku.
► Nepoužívajte žiadny predlžovací kábel, aby ste mali v prí-

pade núdze rýchly prístup k sieťovej zástrčke.

► Nikdy nechytajte prístroj, napájací kábel ani zástrčku kábla

mokrými rukami.

► Neohýbajte ani nestláčajte sieťový kábel, aveďte ho tak,

aby naň nikto nemohol stúpiť, ani sa oň potknúť.

► Neomotávajte sieťový kábel okolo prístroja a chráňte ká-

bel pred poškodením. Vžiadnom prípade nesmiete prístroj
ponárať do kvapaliny amusíte zabrániť, aby do vnútra
prístroja nevnikla žiadna kvapalina. Prístroj nesmiete vysta­viť vlhkosti ani ho používať vonku. Ak by do telesa prístroja
predsa len vnikla kvapalina, ihneď vytiahnite zástrčku prí­stroja zelektrickej zásuvky anechajte prístroj opraviť kvalifi ­kovaným odborným personálom.

► Po použití prístroj ihneď odpojte od elektrickej siete. Len keď

vytiahnete zástrčku zelektrickej zásuvky, je prístroj úplne
odpojený od prúdu.

ELEKTRICKÝM PRÚDOM

Nikdy nepoužívajte prístroj v blízkosti vody, hlavne nie v
blízkosti umývadiel, vaní alebo podobných nádob. Blízkosť
vody predstavuje nebezpečenstvo, aj keď je prístroj vypnu­tý. Preto po každom použití vytiahnite sieťovú zástrčku. Ako
dodatočnú ochranu vkúpeľni sa odporúča nainštalovať
prúdový ochranný istič so spúšťacím prúdom nie vyšším než
30 mA. Oodbornú radu požiadajte elektroinštalatéra.

VÝSTRAHA! NEBEZPEČENSTVO PORANENIA!

► Ak je prístroj zapnutý, nenechávajte ho nikdy bez dozoru.
► Nikdy nepokladajte prístroj do blízkosti zdrojov tepla

achráňte sieťový kábel pred poškodením.

► V prípade, že je prístroj poškodený, alebo spadol na zem,

nesmiete ho ďalej používať. Nechajte prístroj skontrolovať a

1) Vyberte zobalu všetky diely prístroja anávod na obsluhu.

2) Odstráňte všetok materiál balenia.

3) Vyčistite všetky diely prístroja podľa opisu v kapitole „Čistenie“.

Skontrolujte kompletnosť dodávky aprípadné viditeľné poškodenia.

Likvidácia balenia

Balenie chráni prístroj pred poškodením počas prepravy. Materiály balenia sú
zvolené podľa aspektov ekologickej atechnickej likvidácie, apreto ich môžete
recyklovať.

Recykláciou balenia sa šetria suroviny aznižujú sa náklady za odpad.
Nepotrebné materiály balenia zlikvidujte podľa miestne platných predpisov.

Pred hladením

■ Vlasy musia byť čisté, suché abez stylingových prípravkov. Výnimkou sú

špeciálne produkty, ktoré podporujú hladenie vlasov.

■ Pred hladením si poriadne vyčešte vlasy, aby vnich neboli žiadne uzlíky.

Automatické vypnutie

Tento prístroj je vybavený funkciou automatického vypnutia. Po 30 minútach sa
prístroj automaticky vypne. Po ca. 25 minútach začne blikať indikačná kontrolka
2 zelene a pripomenie vám tým čoskoro nasledujúce automatické vypnutie.
Keď chcete prístroj znova používať, krátko ho vypnite a ihneď znova zapnite.

UPOZORNENIE

Automatické vypnutie slúži iba bezpečnosti a nenahrádza vypnutie prístroja

Obsluha

Zapnutie/vypnutie

UPOZORNENIE

Vyhrievacie platne 5 musia byť bez nečistôt. Pred použitím ich prípadne

►

vyčistite (pozri kapitolu „Čistenie“).

Prístroj je zaistený zablokovaním 3. Vyhrievacie platne 5 stlačte k sebe a
vytiahnite zablokovanie 3. Žehlička na vlasy sa dá teraz otvoriť.

1) Zastrčte sieťovú zástrčku do elektrickej zásuvky.

2) Posuňte spínač zap/vyp 1 smerom dopredu (zap/1). Indikačná kontrolka
2 začne blikať červene a signalizuje tak zohrievanie. Po ca. 1 minúte je žeh­lička na vlasy nažeravená a indikačná kontrolka 2 svieti trvalo červene.

3) Posuňte spínač zap/vyp 1 smerom dozadu (vyp/0), keď ste s úpravou
vlasov hotoví. Indikačná kontrolka 2 zhasne. Vytiahnite sieťovú zástrčku a
nechajte prístroj úplne vychladnúť.

Hladenie vlasov

1) Pripravte vlasy tak, ako je opísané v bode „Pred hladením“.

2) Začnite so spodnými časťami vlasov na záhlaví. Cez boky sa prepracujte
smerom dopredu: Rozdeľte ca. 2 cm široké pramene vlasov a upnite ich na
konci na korienkoch vlasov pevne medzi ukazovákom a prostredníkom ruky,
s ktorou nevediete žehličku na vlasy.

VÝSTRAHA! NEBEZPEČENSTVO PORANENIA!

► Dávajte pozor na to, aby sa vyhrievacie platne 5 nedotýkali pokožky

hlavy. Nebezpečenstvo popálenia! Počas prevádzky môžete prístroj chytať
iba za držadlo! Nebezpečenstvo popálenia!

3) Upnite pramene vlasov bližšie k pokožke hlavy 5 a stlačte ich k sebe.

4) Ťahajte celé pramene vlasov cez vyhrievacie platne 5 tak, že žehličku na
vlasy potiahnete plynulo od korienkov vlasov až ku končekom.

5) Postupujte tak s každým jednotlivým prameňom vlasov.

6) Keď ste vyhladili všetky pramene, vypnite prístroj a vytiahnite zástrčku zo
sieťovej zásuvky.

7) Prístroj nechajte úplne vychladnúť.

8) Vyhrievacie platne 5 stlačte k sebe a posuňte zablokovanie 3 opäť
dovnútra.

Čistenie

Skôr než začnete prístroj čistiť, vždy vytiahnite zástrčku z elektrickej zásuvky.

1) Otrite kryt a vyhrievacie platne 5 vlhkou utierkou.

2) V prípade silných nečistôt môžete pridať na utierku jemný čistiaci prostrie­dok. Zvyšky čistiaceho prostriedku odstráňte utierkou navlhčenou vodou.

3) Skôr ako prístroj znova použijete, nechajte ho dobre vysušiť.

Uskladnenie

■ Prístroj položte na vychladnutie vždy na povrch, necitlivý voči teplu.

■ Prístroj môžete zavesiť na závesnom oku 4.

Ak prístroj nepoužívate dlhšiu dobu:

■ Prístroj vyčistite tak, ako je to opísané vkapitole „Čistenie“.

■ Prístroj uskladnite na čistom a suchom mieste.

nungsanleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für
Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie sich vor der Benutzung des
Produkts mit allen Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das
Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händi­gen Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Produkts an Dritte mit aus.

Perücken und Haarteile aus synthetischem Material. Sie dürfen das Gerät

dieser Bedienungsanleitung, insbesondere die Sicherheitshinweise. Dieses Gerät
ist nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz bestimmt.

Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungs­gemäß. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer
Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt allein der Benutzer.

Sicherheitshinweise

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR

► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte

Netzsteckdose mit einer Netzspannung von 120 - 240 V ~,
50/60 Hz an.

► Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen und bevor Sie das Gerät

reinigen, den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker aus der

Netzsteckdose, ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel selbst.

► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht nass

oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt
oder beschädigt werden kann.

► Sollte das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker

beschädigt sein, lassen Sie diese durch den Kundendienst
ersetzen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

► Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien.
► Verwenden Sie kein Verlängerungskabel, damit im Notfall der

Netzstecker schnell zu erreichen ist.

► Fassen Sie das Gerät, Netzkabel und -stecker nie mit nassen

Händen an.

► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht und verle-

gen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder
darüber stolpern kann.

► Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht um das Gerät und schützen

Sie es vor Beschädigungen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keinesfalls
in eine Flüssigkeit tauchen und keine Flüssigkeiten in das
Gerätegehäuse gelangen lassen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keiner
Feuchtigkeit aussetzen und nicht im Freien benutzen. Falls doch
einmal Flüssigkeit in das Gerätegehäuse gelangt, ziehen Sie
sofort den Netzstecker des Geräts aus der Netzsteckdose
und lassen Sie es von qualifi ziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.

► Trennen Sie das Gerät sofort nach dem Gebrauch vom Strom-

netz. Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose
ziehen, ist es vollständig stromfrei.

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR

Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe von
Wasser, insbesondere nicht in der Nähe von Waschbecken,
Badewannen oder ähnlichen Gefäßen. Die Nähe von
Wasser stellt eine Gefahr dar, auch wenn das Gerät aus­geschaltet ist. Ziehen Sie daher nach jedem Gebrauch
den Netzstecker. Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird Ihnen die
Installation einer Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung mit einem
Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA im
Badezimmer-Stromkreis empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren Elekt­roinstallateur um Rat.

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSAGEFAHR!

► Lassen Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
► Legen Sie das Gerät nie in die Nähe von Wärmequellen

und schützen Sie das Netzkabel vor Beschädigungen.

► Falls das Gerät heruntergefallen oder beschädigt ist, dürfen

Sie es nicht mehr in Betrieb nehmen. Lassen Sie das Gerät
von qualifi ziertem Fachpersonal überprüfen und gegebenen­falls reparieren.

► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von

Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder
Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüg­lich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden
und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.

► Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
► Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder

durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind beaufsichtigt.

► Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse nicht selbst öff nen oder repa-

rieren. In diesem Falle ist die Sicherheit nicht gegeben und
die Gewährleistung erlischt. Lassen Sie das defekte Gerät
nur von autorisiertem Fachpersonal reparieren.

► Das Gerät erhitzt sich während des Betriebs.

Fassen Sie es im heißen Zustand nur am Griff an.

Lieferumfang

Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

1) Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus der
Verpackung.

2) Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.

3) Reinigen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes wie im Kapitel „Reinigung“ beschrieben.

Prüfen Sie die Lieferung auf Vollständigkeit und auf sichtbare Schäden.

► Bei einer unvollständigen Lieferung oder Schäden infolge mangelhafter

Verpackung oder durch Transport wenden Sie sich an die Service-Hotline
(siehe Kapitel „Service“).

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungs­materialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichts­punkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoff e und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungs­materialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

Heben Sie, wenn möglich, die Originalverpackung während der Garan-

Vor dem Glätten

■ Das Haar sollte sauber, trocken und frei von Stylingprodukten sein. Ausge-

nommen sind spezielle Produkte, die das Glätten des Haares unterstützen.

■ Kämmen Sie das Haar vor dem Glätten gründlich, damit sich keine Knoten

im Haar befi nden.

Automatische Abschaltung

Dieses Gerät ist mit einer automatischen Abschaltung ausgestattet. Nach 30
Minuten schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus. Nach ca. 25 Minuten beginnt
die Indikationsleuchte 2 grün zu blinken und erinnert Sie damit an die bald
folgende automatische Abschaltung. Wenn Sie das Gerät weiter benutzen möch­ten, schalten Sie das Gerät kurz aus und sofort wieder ein.

Die automatische Abschaltung dient nur der Sicherheit und ersetzt nicht das

Bedienung

Ein-/Ausschalten

HINWEIS

Die Heizplatten 5 müssen frei von Verschmutzungen sein. Reinigen Sie

►

diese vor Benutzung gegebenenfalls (siehe Kapitel „Reinigung“).

Das Gerät ist durch die Verriegelung 3 gesichert. Drücken Sie die Heizplatten
5 zusammen und ziehen Sie die Verriegelung 3 heraus. Der Haarglätter lässt
sich nun weit öff nen.

1) Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose.

2) Schieben Sie den EIN-/AUS-Schalter 1 nach vorne (Ein/1). Die Indikations­leuchte 2 beginnt rot zu blinken und zeigt so das Aufheizen an.
Nach ca. 1 Minute ist der Haarglätter aufgeheizt und die Indikationsleuchte
2 leuchtet dauerhaft rot.

3) Schieben Sie den EIN-/AUS-Schalter 1 nach hinten (Aus/0), wenn Sie mit
dem Styling der Haare fertig sind. Die Indikationsleuchte 2 erlischt.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen das Gerät vollständig abkühlen.

Haare glätten

1) Bereiten Sie das Haar, wie unter „Vor dem Glätten“ beschrieben, vor.

2) Fangen Sie mit den unteren Haarpartien am Hinterkopf an. Arbeiten Sie sich
über die Seiten nach vorne:
Teilen Sie eine ca. 2 cm breite Haarsträhne ab und klemmen Sie das Ende
am Haaransatz straff zwischen Zeige- und Mittelfi nger der Hand, mit der Sie
nicht den Haarglätter führen.

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie mit den Heizplatten 5 nicht die Kopfhaut be-

rühren. Verbrennungsgefahr! Sie dürfen während des Betriebes das Gerät
nur am Griff anfassen! Verbrennungsgefahr!

3) Klemmen Sie die Haarsträhne nahe der Kopfhaut zwischen die Heizplatten 5
und drücken Sie diese zusammen.

4) Ziehen Sie die ganze Haarsträhne durch die Heizplatten 5, indem Sie den
Haarglätter zügig vom Haaransatz zu den Spitzen nach unten ziehen.

5) Verfahren Sie so mit jeder einzelnen Strähne.

6) Wenn Sie alle Strähnen geglättet haben, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und
ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.

7) Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen.

8) Drücken Sie die Heizplatten 5 zusammen und schieben Sie die Verriegelung 3
wieder rein.

Reinigung

Bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, ziehen Sie immer den Netzstecker aus der

► Sie dürfen das Gerät bei der Reinigung keinesfalls in Wasser oder andere

Flüssigkeiten tauchen!

WARNUNG - VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!

► Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung ausreichend abkühlen.

ACHTUNG - SACHSCHADEN!

Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel oder Lösemittel. Diese

könnten die Oberfl äche beschädigen.

1) Wischen Sie das Gehäuse und die Heizplatten 5 mit einem feuchten Tuch
ab.

2) Bei hartnäckigeren Verschmutzungen geben Sie ein mildes Reinigungsmittel
auf das Tuch. Entfernen Sie Reinigungsmittelrückstände mit einem mit Wasser
befeuchteten Tuch.

3) Lassen Sie das Gerät gut trocknen, bevor Sie es wieder verwenden.

Aufbewahren

■ Legen Sie das Gerät zum Auskühlen immer auf eine hitzeunempfi ndliche

Oberfl äche.

■ Sie können das Gerät an der Aufhängeöse 4 aufhängen.
