The ice machine is designed for making ice cubes from drinking water. The
appliance is not intended for any other purpose, nor for use beyond the scope
described.
This appliance is intended solely for use in private households and not for use in
commercial or industrial applications.
The appliance is intended only for indoor domestic use.

Package contents
The appliance is supplied with the following components as standard:
► Check the package for completeness and signs of visible damage.
► If the delivery is incomplete or damage has occurred as a result of defective
packaging or during transport, contact the Service hotline (see section
Service).
Safety information
DANGER – RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK!
► Prior to use, check the appliance for visible external damage.
Do not use the appliance if the mains cable or appliance
show any signs of visible damage or if the appliance itself
has been dropped.
► The appliance may only be used in dry indoor rooms.
► Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet or damp
when the appliance is in use. Route the cable so that it cannot be trapped or damaged in any way.
► Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be
replaced as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by
our Customer Service Department to avoid the risk of injury.
► All repairs must be carried out by authorised specialist
workshops or by the Customer Service department. Improper
repairs may put the user at risk. It will also invalidate any
warranty claims.
► To disconnect the appliance completely from the mains power,
the mains plug must be removed from the power socket. The
appliance must be positioned so that you have unrestricted
access to the mains socket at all times and can pull out the
plug immediately in an emergency.

► Always remove the plug from the power socket before moving
the appliance, in the event of faults, before cleaning the
appliance and when it is not in use! Never pull on the power
cord; always pull directly on the plug itself. Never touch the
appliance plug with wet or moist hands.
► Never immerse the appliance in water or any other
liquids! There is a risk of fatal electric shock if residual
liquids come into contact with live components during
operation. If the appliance ever falls into any liquid, remove the power plug from the socket immediately. Stop
using the appliance and contact the Service Hotline
(see section Service).
DANGER – RISK OF FIRE!
► This appliance contains a small amount of isobutane
as a coolant (R600A). This is a natural and environmentally sound gas that is flammable. In the event of
a leak, pull out the plug, avoid any open flames or
sources of ignition, ventilate the room where the
appliance is located and contact customer service.
► Do not store any explosive substances in this appliance, such
as aerosol containers containing flammable propellent.
► Do not operate any electrical appliances inside the refrigera-
tor compartment that do not correspond to the types recommended by the manufacturer.
► Do not use an external timer switch or a separate remote
control system to operate the appliance.
► Set up the appliance so that neither the ventilation openings
on the left and rear side of the appliance nor the blower
outlet on the right are blocked. The appliance requires a
free space of around 20 cm on all sides.

Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease
of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials
that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
Note the labelling on the packaging and separate the packaging material
components for disposal if necessary. The packaging material is labelled with
abbreviations (b) and numbers (a) with the following meanings:

Stopping ice production

Cleaning and maintenance

► Never open any parts of the housing. There are no serviceable parts
whatsoever inside. When the housing is open, there is a risk of a potentially
fatal electrical shock.

► Drain the water from the water tank

► Do not use abrasive or caustic cleaning agents. These can attack the
surface and damage the appliance beyond repair.
► Do not use boiling water to clean the appliance.
► Do not clean the metal pins in the rear of the appliance with a cloth or
similar. Scratches could negatively affect the production results.
♦ Remove the ice basket
