SYMPTOM Unit stuck in the child lock mode.
CAUSE Incorrect PIN number or data corruption.
ACTION To reset the child lock mode, follow the procedure given below.
1.Switch the television on ( Mains switch ).
2.Press the volume down button on the television and the child lock button on the remote control simultaneously.
3.Press the mode button on the remote control.
4.Using the channel up and down buttons, move to the child lock position.
5.Press the mode button again.
6.Select a new PIN ( Do not forget it ).
7.Select exit and press mode again.
Note that this procedure is shown in the service manual.
Alternativly the NVM can be reprogrammed by changing the following locations.

To turn off the child lock function change location 0B to 98 and back on again to B8.
