Introduction
Familiarise yourself with the product
before using it for the first time. In addi-
tion please refer carefully to the operating instructions below and the safety advice. Use the product only as described and for the indicated purpose. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation.

Proper use
The product is intended for providing illumination in dry indoor rooms and in outdoor environments. If used outdoors the mains adapter must be pro­tected from moisture and the weather. Any other
use or modification of the product constitute improper use and pose a risk of short circuits, fire, electric shocks and damage to the product. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper use. The product is not intended for commercial use.

J Connect the LED work lamp to a properly
installed mains socket or a suitable cigarette lighter socket only. The voltages in each case must comply with information given in the section “Technical data”.
J Ensure that the electrical socket is easily acces-
sible so that you can pull the plug quickly out of the socket if necessary.
J Do not carry out any modifications or repairs
to the product yourself. The LEDs cannot and must not be replaced.
m CAUTION! The protective surround to the
LEDs cannot be replaced. Dispose of the LED inspection lamp if you discover cracks or signs of fracture on the protective surround.
J Dispose of the product if the LED inspection
lamp, mains adapter or car adapter is dam­aged.
J Never connect the LED work lamp to a power
supply socket if the LED work lamp, power lead or socket is damaged or the LED work lamp has been dropped.
J Ensure that the power lead cannot become
damaged by sharp edges or hot objects. Unwind all the lead completely before use.
J Keep easily flammable materials away the
product. Never hang objects above the LED work lamp or the mains adapter and never cover them.
J Pull the mains adapter / plug out of the mains
socket / cigarette lighter socket when you are not using the LED work lamp or before you clean it. Do this as well if signs of a fault
develop during use or charging, e.g. smoke, burning smell etc., or during a storm. When doing this, pull directly on the mains adapt­er / plug and not on the lead.
J Protect the product against heat, cold, strong
vibrations and impacts.

Charging the LED inspection lamp
Note: You can charge the LED inspection lamp
from an ordinary domestic mains power outlet or from the cigarette lighter socket in your vehicle.
Tip: We recommend that you charge the LED
inspection lamp from an ordinary domestic mains power outlet to avoid draining your vehicle’s battery. CAUTION! Do not connect the LED inspection lamp to the cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle if the vehicle battery is old or degraded. Failure
to observe this advice may result in your vehicle’s engine not starting. Note: To use the LED inspection lamp without an adapter, you must first charge the integral recharge­able batteries. It takes between 4 and 6 hours to charge the integral batteries. The rechargeable batteries are permanently installed in the handle of the LED inspection lamp. Note: Charge the LED inspection lamp for approx­imately 12 hours before first use. Note: Charge the LED inspection lamp at least once a month, if it is to remain unused for an extended period of time. Note: If the LED inspection lamp has not been charged for an extended period of time (approx. 2 months), you could find that the integral recharge­able batteries have entered a dormant state. Charge and discharge the LED inspection lamp a
number of times in succession to reactivate the integral rechargeable batteries.
j Switch off the LED inspection lamp during the
charging process (set the ON / OFF switch

to position 0).
j Remove the rubber protection cap from the
bottom of the LED inspection lamp.
j Insert the power output connection plug of
the mains adapter into the power input connection socket the handle of the LED inspection lamp.
Note: During charging from a cigarette lighter
socket, ensure that the plug is always completely inserted into the cigarette lighter socket of the vehicle. Failure to observe this advice may result in risk of fire from overheating.

If the LED inspection lamp is used in a vehicle, it must not be allowed to endan­ger the safety of the driver or passengers. Always store and secure the LED inspection lamp in such a way that there is no risk of injury from or dam­age to the product, even during full braking. Note: You can secure the LED inspection lamp in place using the hook Clamp the magnetic mount

m CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Position the power lead so that it does not create a trip hazard.
m CAUTION RISK OF ACCIDENT! Do not connect or use the LED inspection lamp if you are in moving traffic, for example driving a vehicle. The LED inspection lamp is not intended to be used as an indoor lighting fixture or a reading lamp!

LED does not illuminate
Charging takes a very long time
When connected to a cigarette lighter socket:
- Is the cigarette lighter socket supplied
with power? Some cigarette lighter sockets only supply power with the ignition switched on.
- Check the fuse in the vehicle.
When connected to a cigarette lighter socket:
- Vehicle battery too weak?
The product requires no maintenance. The LEDs cannot be replaced.
J Disconnect the product from the power supply
before you clean it.
J Never immerse the product in water or other
liquids.
J Do not use corrosive cleaning agents. j Clean the product regularly with a dry, fluff-
free cloth. Use a slightly moist cloth to remove any stubborn dirt.

Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of
recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
