Introduction

Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.
You have clearly decided in favour of a quality product.

These operating instructions are a part of this product.
They contain important information in regard to safety, use
and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself
with all of these operating and safety instructions. Use the
product only as described and only for the specified areas
of application. In addition, pass these documents on,
together with the product, to any future owner.

Intended Use

The appliance is intended for checking the charge of a
12 volt battery. In addition, the charging function
of a generator can also be tested. The appliance is not
meant for commercial use.

Safety instructions

Danger! Avoid danger to life and

limbs caused by improper use!

Ɣ Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cable.
Ɣ The measurement cable must be placed so that they

cannot be caught by rotating parts within the engine
compartment.

CAUTION! Damaged measurement cables

create a life-threatening risk of electric shock.

Ɣ Dispose of the device when the measurement cables

have become damaged. The measurement cables
are not intended to be repaired.

Danger of explosion and fire! Make cer-

tain that explosive or combustible substances, such
as petrol or solvent, cannot be ignited during use of
the appliance!

Ignition sources (e.g. open light, burning cigars,
cigarettes or electric sparks) must be kept away from
the starter batteries.

Danger of chemical burns!

Protect your eyes and skin against chemical burns
caused by acid (sulphuric acid) upon contact with
the battery! Do not look directly at the connected
battery and use the following: acid-resistant safety
glasses, clothing and gloves! If your eyes or skin
come into contact with sulphuric acid, rinse the af­fected part of the body with plenty of clear running
water and seek immediate medical assistance!

Ɣ Avoid an electric short-circuit when connecting the

appliance to the battery. Connect the positive pole
terminal clamp only to the positive pole of the battery.
Connect the negative pole terminal clamp only to the
negative pole of the battery.

Ɣ Connect the terminal clamps (red “+“ and black “–“)

only to the insulated area!

Attention! Avoid damage caused by

improper use!

Ɣ Only use the appliance with the included original

parts!

Ɣ Protect the contact surfaces of the battery.

Connection

Ɣ First connect the red quick-connect terminal clamp to

the positive pole (+) of the battery.

Ɣ Then connect the black quick-connect terminal clamp

to the negative pole (-) of the battery.

The appliance can be fastened to the vehicle chassis

during the measurement using the magnetic strip on
the back of the appliance.

Testing a battery and generator

Battery test / start capacity

Ɣ If only the 11.5 volt LED lights up, the charge of the

battery is weak. The battery must be recharged.

Ɣ If the 12 volt LED also lights up, the battery is half

charged. Recharging of the battery is recommended.

Ɣ If the 12.6 volt LED also lights up, the battery is fully

charged and capable of starting.

Attention! Property damage! Before

charging, learn about how to maintain the battery
by reading its operating instructions!

Generator test

Ɣ Connect the appliance to the battery as described

above under “Connection“.

Ɣ Start the engine and switch on all consumers (head-

lights, radio, rear window heating, etc.).

Ɣ Briefly increase the engine speed up to 2500 rpm.
Ɣ If the 13.2 volt to 14.5 volt LED lights up, the genera-

tor or the voltage regulator is in good condition.

Ɣ If the 15.5 volt LED lights up, the generator or volt-

age regulator is defective. In this case, contact your

automotive mechanic.

Cleaning

Danger of electric shock! Always disconnect

the appliance from the battery before cleaning it.

Under no circumstances may the appliance be im-

mersed in water or held under running water during

cleaning.

Attention! Property damage! Do not use

aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as these can

damage the upper surfaces.

Ɣ Clean the outside of the appliance with a slightly

damp cloth.

Disposal

Do not dispose of the appliance in
your normal domestic waste. This
product is subject to the European

Dispose of the appliance through an approved dis­posal centre or at your community waste facility.

Observe the currently applicable regulations.
In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal

centre.

warranty

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date

of purchase. If this product has any faults, you, the buyer,
have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not
restricted in any way by the warranty described below.

The validity period of the warranty starts from the date
of purchase. Please keep your original receipt in a
safe place. This document will be required as proof of
purchase.

If any material or production fault occurs within three
years of the date of purchase of the product, we will
either repair or replace the product for you at our discre­tion. This warranty service is dependent on you present­ing the defective appliance and the proof of purchase
(receipt) and a short written description of the fault and
its time of occurrence.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product
will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair or
replacement of a product does not signify the beginning
of a new warranty period.

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs ef­fected under the warranty. This also applies to replaced
and repaired components. Any damage and defects
present at the time of purchase must be reported imme­diately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry
of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.

This appliance has been manufactured in accordance
with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulously
prior to delivery.

The warranty covers material faults or production faults.
The warranty does not extend to product parts subject
to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as switch­es, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.

The warranty does not apply if the product has been
damaged, improperly used or improperly maintained.
The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly
followed. Uses and actions that are discouraged in
the operating instructions or which are warned against
must be avoided.

This product is intended solely for private use and not
for commercial purposes. The warranty shall be deemed
void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of
force and modifications / repairs which have not been
carried out by one of our authorised Service centres.

Uvod

Čestitamo, kupnjom ovog uređaja odlučili ste se na vrlo
kvalitetan proizvod. Upute za rukovanje predstavljaju
sastavni dio ovog proizvoda. One sadrže važne napo­mene za sigurnost, uporabu i zbrinjavanje proizvoda.
Prije korištenja proizvoda, pogledajte sve napomene
za rukovanje te sigurnosne napomene. Proizvod koristi­te isključivo na opisani način i u navedenim područ­jima primjene. Ove upute dobro sačuvajte. U slučaju
predaje proizvoda trećoj osobi također predajte i svu
dokumentaciju.

Svrha uporabe

Ovaj uređaj služi za ispitivanje stanja napunjenosti
akumulatora (baterije) od 12 V. Osim toga može biti
ispitana i funkcija punjenja generatora. Uređaj nije
namijenjen za komercijalnu uporabu.

Tester akumulatora i rasvjetnih generatora PAWSB 12 A1
2 brzokontaktna priključna steznika, gotovo montirana
(1 crveni „+“, 1 crni „–“)

Sigurnosne napomene

Opasnost! Izbjegnite opasnost po

život i opasnost ozljeđivanja uslijed

nestručne uporabe uređaja!

Ɣ Ne koristite uređaj ako ima oštećeni kabel.
Ɣ Mjerni kablovi trebaju biti postavljeni tako da ne

mogu biti zahvaćeni od rotirajućih dijelova u područ-

ju motora.

Oprez Upozorenje: Mogućnost strujnog udara

! Ne otvarati kućište proizvoda !

Oprez! Oštećeni mjerni kablovi znače opasnost

po život uslijed strujnog udara.

Ɣ Ako su mjerni kablovi oštećeni, odložite proizvod u

skladu sa Zakonom o otpadu. Mjerni kablovi nisu

prikladni za popravke.

Opasnost od eksplozije i požara!

Osigurajte da eksplozivne ili zapaljive tvari npr.

benzin ili otapala budu udaljeni od uređaja kako se

ne bi zapalili. Izvore plamena (npr. otvoreno svjetlo,

goruće cigare i cigarete ili električne iskre) držite

podalje od starterskih baterija.

Opasnost od nagrizanja!

Zaštitite oči i kožu od nagrizanja kiseline (sumporne

kiseline) uslijed kontakta s akumulatorom! Ne usmje-

ravajte pogled neposredno na priključenu bateriju

i upotrijebite: zaštitne naočale, odjeću i rukavice

otporne na kiselinu! Ukoliko oči ili koža dođu u

kontakt sa sumpornom kiselinom, dotične dijelove

tijela isperite s velikom količinom bistre, tekuće vode i

neizostavno se za pomoć obratite liječniku!

Ɣ Izbjegavajte električni kratki spoj prilikom priključiva-

nja uređaja na bateriju. Priključni steznik plus-pola

spojite isključivo na plus-pol baterije. Priključni

steznik minus-pola spojite isključivo na minus-

pol baterije!

Ɣ Prihvatite priključne steznike (crveni „+“ i crni „–“)

isključivo na izoliranom području!

Pažnja! Izbjegavajte predmetna

oštećenja uslijed nestručne uporabe!

Ɣ Uređaj koristite isključivo s isporučenim originalnim

dijelovima!

Ɣ Zaštitite kontaktne površine baterije.

Oprez

Upozorenje: Mogućnost strujnog udara !

Ne otvarati kućište proizvoda !

Priključivanje

Ɣ Prvo priključite crveni brzokontaktni priključni steznik

na plus-pol (+) baterije.

Ɣ Zatim priključite crni brzokontaktni priključni steznik

na minus-pol (-) baterije.

Pomoću magnetne trake na stražnjoj strani uređaj
može za vrijeme mjerenja biti pričvršćen na karoseriji
vozila.

Ispitivanje baterije i generatora

Test baterije / startne sposobnosti

Ɣ Ukoliko svijetli samo 11,5-V-LED, stanje napunjenosti

baterije je slabo. Bateriju se mora napuniti.

Ɣ Ukoliko svijetli i signalizacija 12-V-LED, baterija je

napola napunjena. Preporučljivo je dopuniti bateriju.

Ɣ Ukoliko svijetli i signalizacija 12,6-V-LED, baterija je

potpuno napunjena i sposobna za start.

Pažnja! Predmetne štete!

Prije punjenja informirajte se o održavanju baterije u

njenim uputama za rukovanje!

Test generatora

Ɣ Uređaj priključite na bateriju na način opisan u

poglavlju „Priključivanje“.

Ɣ Pokrenite motor i uključite sve potrošače struje (faro-

ve, radio, grijanje stražnjeg stakla itd).

Ɣ Kod novijih vozila nakratko povećajte broj okretaja

motora do 2500 o/min.

Ɣ Ukoliko svijetli signalizacija 13,2 V do 14,5 V-LED,

generator, tj. regulator napona je u redu.

Ɣ Ukoliko svijetli 15,5-V-LED, generator, tj. regulator

napona je defektan. U tom slučaju se obratite svojoj

automehaničarskoj radionici.

Čišćenje

Opasnost od strujnog udara!

Prije svakog čišćenja uređaja, odvojite spoj s bateri-

jom. Uređaj prilikom čišćenja ni u kojem slučaju ne

smijete uroniti u vodu ili držati pod mlazom vode.

Pažnja! Predmetne štete!

Ne koristite agresivna ili abrazivna sredstva za

čišćenje jer ovakva sredstva mogu oštetiti površinu

kućišta uređaja.

Ɣ Uređaj čistite samo s vanjske strane pomoću blago

navlažene krpe.

Zbrinjavanje

Uređaj nikako ne bacajte u obično
kućno smeće. Ovaj proizvod pripada
pod europsku direktivu
2012/19/EU.

Uređaj zbrinite preko ovlaštenog poduzeća za zbrinja­vanje otpada ili preko Vašeg komunalnog poduzeća.
Obratite pažnju na aktualno važeće propise. U slučaju
dvojbe se povežite sa svojim lokalnim poduzećem za
zbrinjavanje otpada.

Sve materijale ambalaže
zbrinite na način neškodljiv za
okoliš.

Ambalaža ovog uređaja izrađena je od
kartona.

Jamstvo tvrtke

Poštovani kupci,
Za ovaj uređaj odobrava se jamstvo u trajanju od 3 go-

dine od datuma kupnje. U slučaju nedostataka ovoga
proizvoda, Vama pripadaju zakonska prava na teret
prodavača proizvoda. U nastavku izloženo jamstvo ne
ograničava ova zakonska prava.

Jamstveni rok započinje danom kupnje. Molimo Vas
da dobro sačuvate originalni račun. Ovaj dokument je
potreban kao dokaz o kupnji.

Ako u roku od tri godine od dana kupnje ovog proi­zvoda dođe do greške u materijalu ili izradi, proizvod
ćemo - prema našem izboru - besplatno popraviti ili
zamijeniti. Za takvo ispunjenje jamstvene obaveze po­trebno je unutar trogodišnjeg roka uređaj s nedostatkom
i dokaz o kupnji (račun) predočite i pismeno ukratko
opisati u čemu se sastoji greška proizvoda i kada se
pojavila.

Ako je kvar pokriven našim jamstvom, poslat ćemo Vam
popravljen ili novi proizvod. Popravkom ili zamjenom
proizvoda ne započinje novi jamstveni rok.

Korištenje prava na jamstvo ne produžuje jamstveni rok.
To vrijedi i za zamijenjene i popravljene dijelove. Štete i
nedostatke koji eventualno postoje već prilikom kupnje
treba javiti neposredno nakon raspakiranja. Nakon
isteka jamstvenog roka izvršeni popravci se naplaćuju.

Uređaj je pažljivo proizveden sukladno strogim smjer­nicama u pogledu kvalitete i prije isporuke brižljivo
provjeren.

Ovo jamstvo vrijedi za greške u materijalu i izradi. Jam­stvo ne obuhvaća dijelove proizvoda koji su izloženi
normalnom trošenju i stoga se mogu smatrati potrošnim
dijelovima, niti oštećenja lomljivih dijelova, npr. preki­dača, baterija, kalupa za pečenje ili dijelova izrađenih
od stakla.

Ovo jamstvo propada ako je proizvod oštećen, i ako
nije stručno korišten ili servisiran. Za stručno korištenje
proizvoda potrebno je točno poštivati sve naputke
navedene u uputama za uporabu. Uporabne namjene i
radnje, koje se u uputama ne preporučuju ili na koje se
upozorava, obavezno se moraju izbjegavati.

Proizvod je namijenjen isključivo za privatnu, neko­mercijalnu uporabu. Jamstvo prestaje vrijediti u slučaju
zloporabe, nenamjenskog korištenja, primjene sile i
zahvata na uređaju koje nije obavila za to ovlaštena
podružnica servisa.
