Instructions for Use
Description
The OptraSculpt system consists of two instruments and
disposable elastic modeling tips in six different shapes.
OptraSculpt allows easy application and manipulation of
all composite materials due to the low adhesion of the
modelling tips to composites.

Modelling tips
Recommended applications:
1 Cylinder
Initial increments of Class I & II restorations
2 Chisel
Marginal ridges, cervical margins of Class V
fillings
3 Spatula
Class V fillings, all facial and buccal surfaces
(or smooth surfaces in general).Also recommended
for the removal of excess cement
4 Ball
Developing concavity of the lingual surface on
anterior restorations.

5 Point
Creating detailed anatomy such as pits and
fissures, lingual contours, refining margins.
6 Pyramid
Creating detailed anatomy such as pits, fissures,
and other detailed morphology.
Indication
Sculpting and contouring anatomy in direct placement,
composite resin restorations.
Use
Choose and attach the appropriate modeling tip to the
instrument.
If you do not dispense the material directly from the
capsule, use the end with the metal spatula to place the
material into the preparation. Use the elastic modeling tips
to adapt, contour and sculpt the material.
The different shapes can be used as follows:
Chisel
The chisel-shaped modeling tips can be used for Class V
restorations, labial and buccal surfaces as well as occlusal
surfaces.
Spatula
Spatula-shaped modeling tips are particularly suitable for
contouring the labial surfaces of anterior restorations (Class
III and IV) and ClassV restorations.
Ball
Ball-shaped modeling tips can be used to develop concavities on the lingual surface of anterior restorations. (Class III
and IV).
Cylinder
The cylinder-shaped modeling tips are used for placing and
levelling the first increment in Class I and II cavities. They
provide optimum adaptation to the tooth structure.
Point
The pointed modeling tips have been designed for
contouring and sculpting the occlusal anatomy (Class I and
II) as well as the lingual surfaces of anterior restorations
(Class III and IV).
Pyramid
It is recommended to use the pyramid-shaped tips to
accentuate fissures (Class I and II) and to create detailed
morphology.
Notes
– The OptraSculpt handle can be autoclaved.
– The modelling tips are intended for single use and must
be removed prior to sterilization in an autoclave.
– As small parts present a potential aspiration hazard, the
use of rubber dam is recommended.

Beschreibung
Das OptraSculpt besteht aus zwei Basisinstrumenten und
einem Sortiment elastischer Modellieraufsätze zur Einmalverwendung in sechs verschiedenen Formen.
Durch die geringe Haftung der Modelliersaufsätze an
Füllungscomposites, ermöglicht das OptraSculpt eine komfortable Verarbeitung aller gängigen Compositematerialien.

Indikation
Modellation von Compositefüllungsmaterial.
Anwendung
Die Modellieraufsätze werden in Abhängigkeit von der
geplanten Behandlung ausgewählt und auf die Instrumente
gesteckt.
Das Arbeitsende mit dem Metallspatel dient derAufnahme
und Positionierung des Füllungsmaterials, wenn dies nicht
direkt aus der Kapsel appliziert wird. Die Formgebung und
Adaptation wird dann mit den elastischen Arbeitsenden
durchgeführt.
Die verschiedenen Formen können wie folgt angewendet
werden:
Zylinder
Mit dem Zylinder wird das erste bzw. zervikale Inkrement
bei Klasse I und II Kavitäten eingebracht und planiert, so
dass eine optimale Adaptation an die Zahnhartsubstanz
gewährleistet wird.
Zylinder schräg
Bei KlasseV Restaurationen, Labial- und Buccalflächen aber
auch Okklusalflächen kann der Zylinderanschnitt eingesetzt
werden.
Spatel
Labialflächen von Frontzähnen (Klasse III und IV) sowie
Klasse V Restaurationen können besonders gut mit der
Spatelform gestaltet werden.
Kugel
Die Kugel kann universell zum Adaptieren verwendet werden und eignet sich besonders zur Modellation der Palatinalflächen von Frontzähnen (Klasse III und IV)
Spitze
Für die Modellation des okklusalen Reliefs (Klasse I und II)
sowie Oralflächen bei Frontzahnrestaurationen (Klasse III
und IV) ist die Spitze konzipiert worden.
Pyramide
Zur Betonung von Fissuren (Klasse I und II) und die Gestaltung scharfer Kanten empfehlen wir die Pyramide.
Hinweise
– Das Basis-Instrument ist zur mehrfachenVerwendung
ausgelegt und autoklavierbar.
– Vor dem Autoklavieren müssen die Modellieraufsätze
entfernt werden. Diese sind nur für Einmalgebrauch.
– Da bei Kleinteilen generell eineAspirationsgefahr
besteht, sollte ein Kofferdam verwendet werden.

Mode d’emploi
Description
OptraSculpt se compose de deux instruments et d'un
assortiment de pointes à modeler en silicone de six formes
différentes, à usage unique.

OptraSculpt permet d'appliquer et de travailler facilement
tous les matériaux composites courants car les pointes à
modeler ne collent pas aux résines.
Formes
Formes des instruments
1 Cylindre
Couches cervicales des restaurations de
Classe I et II
2 Cylindre angulaire
Crêtes marginales, limites cervicales des
obturations de Classe V
3 Spatule
Obturations de Classe V, toutes les faces labiales
et vestibulaires, (ou les surfaces lisses en général).
Indiqué aussi pour retirer les excédents de
matériau.
4 Boule
Sculpture des zones concaves de la face linguale
des restaurations antérieures.
5 Pointe
Création des détails anatomiques tels que puits et
sillons, contours des faces linguales et des limites
cervicales.
6 Pyramide
Création des détails anatomiques et
morphologiques tels que puits et sillons.
Indication
Sculpture et modelage anatomique en technique directe
des restaurations en résine composite.
Utilisation
Choisir et fixer la pointe à modeler appropriée sur
l'instrument.
Si vous ne déposez pas le matériau directement avec
l'unidose , utilisez le bout avec la spatule métallique pour
enlever et appliquer le matériau sur la préparation. Utilisez
les pointes à modeler élastiques pour modeler, sculpter et
ajuster le matériau.
Les différentes formes peuvent être utilisées comme suit :
Cylindre
Les pointes à modeler en forme de cylindre servent à
déposer et niveler la première couche ou la couche
cervicale des cavités de Classe I et II. Elles apportent une
adaptation optimale à la structure dentaire.
Cylindre angulaire
Le cylindre angulaire peut être utilisé pour les restaurations
de ClasseV, les faces labiales et vestibulaires et les surfaces
occlusales.
Spatule
Les pointes à modeler en forme de spatule sont
particulièrement indiquées pour modeler les faces
vestibulaires des restaurations antérieures (Classe III et IV)
des restaurations de Classe V.
Boule
Les pointes à modeler en forme de boule peuvent être
utilisées pour sculpter les zones concaves de la face linguale des restaurations antérieures. (Classe III et IV).
Pointe
Les pointes à modeler en forme de pointe sont conçues
pour modeler et sculpter le relief occlusal (Classe I et II) et
pour les surfaces linguales des restaurations antérieures
(Classe III et IV).
Pyramide
Nous recommandons d'utiliser les pointes à modeler en
forme de pyramide pour marquer les sillons (Classe I et II)
et pour créer les détails morphologiques.
Notes
– L'instrument OptraSculpt peut être stérilisé en
autoclave.
– Avant la stérilisation en autoclave, retirer les pointes à
modeler,car elles sont à usage unique.
– Les petits embouts risquant d'être avalés, il est
recommandé d'utiliser une digue.

Descrizione
OptraSculpt è costituito da due strumenti di modellazione
ed un set di puntali di modellazione elastici ed intercambiabili, in sei diverse forme.
Grazie alla bassa adesione dei puntali di modellazione ai
materiali compositi, OptraSculpt facilita la lavorabilità e la
modellazione di tutti i materiali compositi.
Forme
Forme degli strumenti
OptraSculpt a punta singola e con spatola
metallica dal lato opposto.
OptraSculpt a doppia punta.
Puntali per la modellazione
1 Cilindro
Primi incrementi di restauri di Classe I e II.
2 Scalpello
Margini prossimali e cervicali nei restauri di
Classe V.
3 Spatola
Restauri di Classe V, tutte le superfici vestibolari e
palatali (o le superfici lisce in genere). Indicato
anche per la rimozione delle eccedenze di
cemento.
4 Palla
Modellazione delle concavità delle superfici
palatali nel restauro dei settori anteriori.
5 Punta
Realizzazione di un’anatomia dettagliata: solchi,
fessure, contorni palatali e rifinitura dei margini.
Le diverse forme possono essere utilizzate come segue:
6 Piramide
Disegno di una corretta anatomia:solchi, fessure e
tutto ciò che fa parte di una dettagliata morfologia
anatomica
Indicazioni
Modellazione e definizione dell’anatomia nel restauro
diretto con materiali compositi.
Uso
Scegliere il puntale di modellazione adatto ed inserirlo sullo
strumento.
Se non si estrude il materiale direttamente dalla cartuccia,
la spatola di metallo all’estremità dello strumento serve per
portare il materiale in cavità.Per adattare, modellare e
scolpire il materiale composito, utilizzare i puntali di
modellazione elastici.
Cilindro
I puntali a forma cilindrica sono indicati per apportare e
livellare il primo strato incrementale nelle cavità di Classe I
e II, consentendo un ottimo adattamento ai tessuti dentari.
Scalpello
Il puntale a scalpello può essere utilizzato per la modellazione corretta nei restauri di Classe V,delle superfici
palatali e vestibolari e delle superfici occlusali.
Spatola
I puntali a forma di spatola sono particolarmente indicati
per modellare le superfici vestibolari di restauri su denti
frontali (Classe III e IV) e di Classe V.
Palla
I puntali a palla sono particolarmente indicati per realizzare
le concavità palatali dei restauri anteriori (Classe III e IV).
