he Invacare®MNS400 is a full-depth (8") powered alternating pr essur e air mattr ess replacement
system which reduces interface pressure f or the treatment of Stage I to Stage IV pr essure ulcers.
The MNS400 reduces interface pressures below capillary closure by alternating pressure in the
8-inch air cell bladders every 5,10 or 1 5 minutes. The power unit control combines simplified operations
with effective results.

Alternating Mode
In alternating mode, the 16 adjacent air cells of the In vacar e MNS400
alternately inflate and deflate at 5, 10, or 15 minute adjustable intervals,
which redistributes the pressure against the skin to pr omote capillary
circulation.
