4.Information and notes before getting started

Note – Optimal reception

Please note:

•Extend the antenna always completely.

•For best reception it´s recommended to extend the antenna vertical.

•Try various different positions if necessary to get the best reception.

5.Getting started

5.1 Battery operation

•Open the battery compartment cover. It is located on the rear of the radio.

•Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction indicated.

•Insert the batteries paying attention to the match the polarities correctly. The correct polarity is indicated by the plus and minus symbols in the battery compartment.

•Replace the battery compartment cover.

5.2 Mains operation

Connect the network cable to a properly installed and easily accessible network socket.

The power supply unit is suitable for mains voltages between 100 and 240 V, and is thus operable on almost any AC power grid. Please note that a country-specific adapter may be necessary.

•Only connect the product to a socket that has been approved for the device.

•The electrical socket must always be easily accessible.

•When using a mult-socket power strip, make sure that the sum power draw of all the connected devices does not exceed its maximum throughput rating.

•If you will not be using the product for a ling period of time, disconnect it from mains power.

Navigation and controls

[VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (9) has two different functions:

•Turn [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (9) to select among menu items.

•Confirm the selection by pressing [VOLUME/SELECT/ NAVIGATE] (9).

Press [Back] (8) to return to the previous menu level.

Volume adjustment

Turn [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (9) to increase/reduce the volume.

5.4 Initial setup

The station search in the operating mode DAB starts up automatically when the radio is turned on for the first time. By default, the radio starts with the English menu navigation. Set up your desired language as described in

5.5. Language.

5.5 Language

To change the menu language from that selected at firsttime startup, proceed as follows:

•Press [Settings] (3) to access the settings menu.

•Turn [Volume/Select/Navigate] (9) to navigate to the ‘Language’ menu item.

•Confirm your selection by pressing [Volume/Select/ Navigate] (9).

•Turn [Volume/Select/Navigate] (9) to select your desired system language.

•Confirm the selection by pressing [Volume/Select/ Navigate] (9).

5.6 General notes on use Notes on use

6. Care and Maintenance

Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages

Hinweis – Empfang optimieren

Beachten Sie:

•Ziehen Sie die Antenne immer vollständig aus.

•Für einen optimalen Empfang empfehlen wir die Antenne vertikal auszurichten.

•Gegebenenfalls sollten Sie verschiedene Standorte testen, um den bestmöglichen Empfang zu erreichen.

5. Inbetriebnahme

5.1 Batteriebetrieb

•Öffnen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung, welche sich auf der Rückseite des Radios befindet.

•Schieben Sie dazu die Batteriefachabdeckung in die gekennzeichnete Richtung.

•Legen Sie die Batterien polrichtig ein. Die richtige Polarität wird im Batteriefach durch die Kennzeichnung des Plusund Minuspols dargestellt.

•Schließen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung anschließend.

5.2 Netzbetrieb

Verbinden Sie das Netzkabel mit einer ordnungsgemäß installierten und leicht zugänglichen Netzsteckdose. Das Netzteil ist für eine Netzspannung von 100-240 V geeignet und daher in nahezu allen Stromnetzen auf

Wechselstrom-Basis einsetzbar. Beachten Sie, dass hierzu ein länderspezifischer Adapter notwendig sein kann.

Bedienungshinweise

•Betreiben Sie das Produkt an einer dafür zugelassenen Steckdose.

•Achten Sie bei Mehrfachsteckdosen darauf, dass die angeschlossenen Verbraucher die zulässige Gesamtleistungsaufnahme nicht überschreiten.

•Die Netzsteckdose muss jederzeit leicht erreichbar sein.

•Trennen Sie das Produkt vom Netz, wenn Sie es längere Zeit nicht benutzen.

5.3 Allgemeine Hinweise zur Bedienung Bedienungshinweise

•In einer Auswahl von verschiedenen Schaltflächen (z.B. Ja oder Nein) ist die ausgewählte Schaltfläche mit < > gekennzeichnet.

•In Menüs, die eine Auswahl aus verschiedenen Optionen bieten (z.B. DRC, Sprache etc.), wird die aktuell ausgewählte Option mit *gekennzeichnet.

Navigation und Steuerung

[VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (9) hat eine duale Funktionsbelegung:

•Durch Drehen von [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (9) im Menü wählen Sie einzelne Menüpunkte aus.

•Durch Drücken von [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (9) bestätigen Sie die Auswahl.

Drücken Sie [Back] (8), um auf die vorherige Menüebene zurückzukehren.

Lautstärke anpassen

Durch Drehen von [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (9) erhöhen/reduzieren Sie die Lautstärke.

5.4 Ersteinrichtung

Beim ersten Start wird automatisch der Sendersuchlauf im Betriebsmodus DAB gestartet. Standardmäßig startet das Radio mit englischer Menüführung.

Die gewünschte Sprache können Sie wie in 5.5. Sprache beschrieben einstellen.

5.5 Sprache

Um die voroder bei Erstinbetriebnahme eingestellte Menüsprache des Radios zu ändern, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

•Drücken Sie [Settings] (3), um in das Einstellungsmenü zu gelangen.

•Navigieren Sie durch Drehen von [Volume/Select/ Navigate] (9) zum Menüpunkt „Language”.

•Bestätigen Sie Ihre Auswahl durch Drücken von [Volume/ Select/Navigate] (9).

•Wählen Sie durch Drehen von [Volume/Select/Navigate]

(9) Ihre gewünschte Systemsprache aus.

•Bestätigen Sie diese durch Drücken von [Volume/Select/ Navigate] (9).

6. Wartung und Pflege

•Reinigen Sie dieses Produkt nur mit einem fusselfreien, leicht feuchten Tuch und verwenden Sie keine aggressiven Reiniger.

•Sollten Sie das Produkt längere Zeit nicht nutzen, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und trennen es von der Stromversorgung. Lagern Sie es an einem sauberen, trockenen Ort ohne direkte Sonneneinstrahlung.

4.Informations et indications avant la mise en service

Veuillez noter :

•Extrayez l’antenne entièrement.

•Nous vous conseillons de placer l‘antenne à la verticale afin de garantir une réception optimale.

•Le cas échéant, testez différents endroits afin d’obtenir la meilleure réception possible.

5. Mise en service

5.1 Fonctionnement sur piles

-Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment à piles situé sur la face arrière de la radio.

-Faites glisser le couvercle du compartiment dans la direction indiquée.

-Insérez les piles en respectant les indications de polarité. La polarité conforme est indiquée par les pôles positifs et négatifs dans le compartiment à piles.

-Refermez le couvercle du compartiment.

5.2 Fonctionnement sur secteur

Branchez le câble secteur à une prise de courant facile d’accès.

Le bloc secteur est adapté à une tension de 100-240 V et peut donc être utilisé dans presque tous les réseaux électriques à courant alternatif. Veuillez toutefois noter qu‘un adaptateur sera éventuellement nécessaire dans certains pays.

Consignes d‘utilisation

•Branchez l‘appareil uniquement à une prise de courant appropriée.

•En présence d’une prise multiple, veillez à ce que les appareils consommateurs branchés ne dépassent pas la puissance absorbée totale admissible.

•La prise de courant doit être facilement accessible à tout moment.

•Débranchez l’appareil si vous ne comptez pas l’utiliser sur une période prolongée.

Navigation et commande

Le bouton [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (9) dispose d’une double fonction :

•Vous pouvez sélectionner une option du menu en tournant le bouton [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (9).

•Confirmez votre sélection en appuyant sur le bouton [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (9).

Appuyez sur la touche [Back] (8) afin de retourner au menu précédent.

Réglage du volume

Tournez le bouton [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (9) pour augmenter / diminuer le volume.

5.4 Première configuration

Lors du premier démarrage, une recherche de stations démarre automatiquement dans le mode DAB. La langue de menu par défaut de la radio est l’anglais.

Réglez la langue de votre choix comme décrit au chapitre 5.5. Langue.

5.5 Langue

•Procédez comme suit pour modifier la langue préréglée (ou réglée lors de la première mise en service) pour le menu de la radio :

•Appuyez sur la touche [Settings] (3) afin d'ouvrir le menu de paramétrage.

•Tournez le bouton [Volume/Select/Navigate] (9) afin de sélectionner l’option “Langue”.

•Confirmez votre sélection en appuyant sur le bouton [Volume/Select/Navigate] (9).

6. Nettoyage et entretien

•Nettoyez ce produit uniquement à l’aide d’un chiffon non pelucheux légèrement humide ; évitez tout détergent agressif.

•Débranchez l‘adaptateur CA de la source de courant si vous ne comptez pas utiliser l‘appareil pendant un certain temps. Entreposez-le dans un local sec, propre et protégé des rayons directs du soleil.

Nota – Optimizar la recepción

•Siempre extraiga la antena al completo.

•Para que la recepción sea óptima, le recomendamos orientar la antena verticalmente.

•Puede que deba probar diferentes ubicaciones para obtener la mejor recepción posible.

5. Puesta en funcionamiento

5.1 Funcionamiento con pilas

•Abra la cubierta del compartimento para pilas que se encuentra en el lado posterior de la radio.

•Para ello, deslice la tapa del compartimiento para pilas en la dirección marcada.

•Coloque las pilas atendiendo a la polaridad correcta. La polaridad correcta se muestra en el compartimento para pilas mediante la indicación del polo positivo y negativo.

•Seguidamente, cierre la cubierta del compartimento para pilas.

5.2 Funcionamiento con corriente

Conecte el cable de corriente con una toma de corriente correctamente instalada y fácilmente accesible.

La fuente de alimentación es adecuada para una tensión de red de 100-240 V y por ello utilizable en prácticamente todas las redes de corriente que se basen en corriente alterna. Recuerde que para ello puede requerirse un adaptador específico del país.

Instrucciones de manejo

•Utilice el producto conectado a una toma de corriente autorizada.

•En caso de tomas de corriente múltiples, asegúrese de que los consumidores conectados no sobrepasan el consumo total de potencia admisible.

•La toma de corriente debe estar fácilmente accesible en todo momento.

•Desconecte el producto de la red si no va a emplearse durante un tiempo prolongado.

Navegación y control

[VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (9) tiene una doble asignación de funciones:

•Girando [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (9) dentro del menú, puede seleccionar opciones individuales.

•Pulsando [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (9) puede confirmar la selección.

Pulse [Back] (8) para volver al nivel de menú previo.

Regular el volumen

Girando [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (9) puede aumentar/ reducir el volumen.

5.4 Configuración inicial

•La primera vez que se enciende, se inicia automáticamente la búsqueda de emisora en el modo operativo DAB. La radio se inicia con la guía de menú en inglés de manera estándar.

•El idioma deseado lo puede ajustar como se describe en 5.5. Idioma.

5.5 Idioma

•Para cambiar el idioma del menú de la radio ajustado antes de o durante la puesta en marcha inicial, proceda del siguiente modo:

•Pulse [Settings] (3) para acceder al menú de configuración.

Опасность поражения током

5. Ввод в эксплуатацию

5.1 Питание от батарей

•На задней панели радиоприемника откройте крышку отсека для батарей.

•Сдвиньте крышку отсека для батарей в указанном направлении.

•Вставьте батареи, соблюдая полярность. Полярность указана маркировкой («+» и «-») в отсеке для батарей.

•Затем закройте отсек батареек крышкой.

5.2 Питание от сети

Вставьте вилку кабеля питания в розетку, установленную надлежащим образом. Доступ к розетке должен быть свободным.

Блок питания рассчитан на напряжение 100–240 В и подходит для питания почти от всех сетей переменного тока. Однако для этого могут потребоваться соответствующие переходники.

Навигация и управление

Кнопка [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (Громкость/Выбор/

Навигация) (9) выполняет двойную функцию:

•Вращением кнопки [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] (Громкость/Выбор/Навигация) (9) осуществляется выбор отдельных пунктов меню.

Регулирование громкости
