weight is bigger than the 2nd weight the weighing is considered as incoming
weighing. The inverted circumstances are considered as outgoing weighing.
[F5]: To create a quick daily report.
[F6]: To create a quick monthly report.

The report can be bounded by entering data in the fields of the reports window in the upper left side of the
screen. If there is no data input in this area, all weighing records will be considered during reporting.
Otherwise only weighing records related to the entered data will be considered. (For example: If a customer
name is entered, only the weighing records of this particular customer will be reported.)
To make the report more specific, it is also possible to enter more than 1 restriction. (For example: If the
customer name BAYER and the product OIL is entered, the report will show all records about Oil from Bayer).

5.2 Sorted Report
To access the sorted report menu press [F2] in the reports menu.
Sorted report
In the sorted report, it is possible to mark a field with “ * “. Then the weighing records will be sorted according
to this entry. For example, if the customer is marked with “ * “, the weighing records will be sorted by this
category and all weighing of each customer will also be grouped.
However while a field is filled with “ * “, data can be entered into other fields to filter the report like shown in the
detailed report. For example, if the customer is marked with “ * “ and OIL is enter as the product, then OIL
weighing records will be grouped for each customer separately.
5.3 Total Report
To access the total report menu press [F3] in the reports menu.
Total report
By marking a field with “ * ” the total report produces a category-sorted report which shows the total weights.
For example: If “ * ” is entered in customer, the total weight of each customer will be reported. Or, if “ * ” is
entered in customer and additionally “Oil” is entered as product, the OIL weighing totals of each customer will
be reported.

To enter the company data press [F1]. Three lines are available for data. When leaving a
line you will be asked for the “Print on Ticket” section. Here you can select if and how the
line will be printed. („1“ = no printout; „2“ = bold printout; „3“ = normal printout). However
the company data area can also be used to define any header for the ticket.
The weighing data queries can be defined in this section. The user can freely define up to
6 entries (Some other queries of the weighing process, like the license tag, are fixed and
cannot be altered). Press [F2] to enter new entries or to edit them. The description and the
use of the fields are described on the following page.

Here the entry headers which will be seen in the weighing menus can be entered.

This determines if the previous data of this query is preserved for the next record or not.
“1”: The data of the previous weighing will be preserved for the next weighing.
“2”: The entry will be empty and new data has to be entered in the next weighing process.
Definition:
The program allows simple mathematical operations for each entry.
Possible operations: division (/), multiplication (*), addition (+) and subtraction (-)
Possible variables:
#X: Provides the data of entry X. (X is the query/entry number)
#N: Provides the net value of the actual weighing
#T: Provides the tare value of the actual weighing
#G: Provides the gross value of the actual weighing
Example “Determining the price of incoming or outgoing material”: Define an entry for the
unit price (Entry 4) and another one for the total price (Entry 5). The total price is the
multiplication of the unit price and the net weight. So the formula in the definition field of the
entry 5 has to be: “#4 * #N“. As soon as the weighing process is finished the total price will
be calculated and saved with the other entries.
In this field the scale manufacturer company information can be entered by pressing the
function key [F3]. The data written in this field will be seen as a bottom line on nearly every
screen. It is also possible to set this line as the bottom line for printouts. For doing this “2”
or “3“ has to be entered in the “Print on Ticket” section.
Anyhow instead of using the manufacturer name for example a “THANK YOU” message
could be inserted.
7.2 Table Data

Baud rate (Parameter [0x1]) = as baud rate of FT-16(D)
Handshake = No Handshake (Parameter 0x2] = 0)
No Address (Parameter [0x3] = 00)
Data Length and Parity [Parameter [0x4]) = as settings of FT-16(D)
3. The print parameters of the connected FT-1x(D) indicator has to be set up as follows:
