Il manuale di istruzioni è parte integrante del presente
prodotto. Esso contiene importanti indicazioni per la
sicurezza, l'uso e lo smaltimento. Prima di utilizzare il
prodotto, familiarizzarsi con tutte le indicazioni relative
ai comandi e alla sicurezza. Utilizzare l'apparecchio
solo come descritto e per i campi d'impiego indicati.
Conservare con cura il manuale. In caso di cessione
del prodotto a terze persone, consegnare anche tutta
la relativa documentazione.
Uso conforme
Il purifi catore d'aria per auto è adatto solo per purifi care l'aria di auto private. Un uso diverso o esulante
da quanto sopra è considerato non conforme e può
causare danni e lesioni. Sono escluse rivendicazioni
di qualsiasi genere per danni derivanti da uso non
conforme o modifi che eseguite in proprio.

di tempi di sosta prolungati, nel vano e nel portaoggetti dell'auto si possono sviluppare temperature
estremamente elevate. Rimuovere gli apparecchi
elettrici ed elettronici dal veicolo.
■ Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato dai
bambini di almeno 8 anni di età e da persone
con capacità fi siche, sensoriali o mentali ridotte
o insuffi ciente esperienza o conoscenza, solo se
sorvegliati o istruiti sull'uso sicuro dell'apparecchio e
qualora ne abbiano compreso i pericoli associati.
I bambini non devono giocare con l'apparecchio.
La pulizia e la manutenzione a cura dell'utente non
devono essere eseguite da bambini, a meno che
non siano sorvegliati.

Messa in funzione
Controllo della fornitura
La fornitura standard dell'apparecchio comprende i

AVVERTENZA
Prima della messa in funzione, controllare l'in-

tegrità della fornitura e l'eventuale presenza di
danni. In caso di fornitura incompleta o in presenza di danni da trasporto o da imballaggio
inadeguato, rivolgersi alla hotline di assistenza
(v. il capitolo "Assistenza").
Prelevare tutte le parti dalla confezione e rimuovere il
materiale di imballaggio dall'apparecchio.

Comandi e funzionamento

♦ Inserire lo spinotto per auto 1 nella presa da 12V
del veicolo. Di regola si trova nell'accendisigari sul
cruscotto dell'auto.
AVVERTENZA
La parte principale con le aperture di ricambio
dell'aria 3 può venire regolata gradualmente
fi no a 90°. Le aperture di ricambio dell'aria 3
devono essere libere e dovrebbero essere rivolte
verso l'abitacolo del veicolo.
♦ Collocare l'unità principale con le aperture di
ricambio dell'aria 3 nella posizione desiderata.
♦ Accendere l'apparecchio spingendo l'interruttore
ON/OFF 4 in posizione "ON". La spia di controllo 2 si accende e segnala il funzionamento
del purifi catore d'aria per auto. A seconda del tipo
di veicolo potrebbe essere necessario accendere
prima il quadro.

♦ Per spegnere l'apparecchio, portare l'interruttore
ON/OFF 4 in posizione OFF. La spia di controllo 2 si spegne.
ATTENZIONE
L'apparecchio assorbe corrente anche in posi-
►
zione di riposo e pertanto deve venire disconnesso dall'alimentazione di bordo dopo l'uso!
Se il motore non è acceso, si potrebbe scaricare
la batteria.
Funzione e azione del purifi catore
d'aria per auto
L'apparecchio rilascia ioni negativi in continuo durante
il funzionamento. Gli ioni negativi si attaccano a
sostanze nocive, batteri e germi e li rendono innocui
con una carica elettrica. Analisi scientifi che ed esperienze pratiche mostrano che l'arricchimento dell'aria
con ioni negativi si ripercuote positivamente sulle
prestazioni umane.

Manutenzione

Sostituzione del fusibile
Nel purifi catore d'aria per auto si trova un fusibile per
proteggere la rete elettrica di bordo dell'autoveicolo.
Se l'apparecchio non funziona più, controllare o
sostituire il fusibile.
♦ Staccare dapprima l’apparecchio dalla presa
dell’accendisigari.
♦ Aprire il purifi catore d'aria per auto svitando cau-
tamente l'inserto a vite scanalato, se necessario
con una pinza, ruotando in senso antiorario.
♦ Rimuovere la punta dello spinotto dal fusibile ed
estrarre quest'ultimo.
♦ Inserire il nuovo fusibile del tipo F1AL 250 V nello
spinotto 12 V per auto, collocare la punta dello
spinotto sull'estremità leggermente sporgente del
fusibile e riavvitare l'inserto a vite precedentemente
rimosso.

AVVERTENZA
Se l'apparecchio continuasse a non funzionare o
bruciasse subito anche il nuovo fusibile, signifi ca
che è presente un guasto. Rivolgersi quindi alla
hotline di assistenza (v. capitolo "Assistenza").
Pulizia e conservazione
ATTENZIONE
Per evitare il rischio di folgorazione, staccare
►
l'apparecchio dalla presa 12 V prima della
pulizia e in caso di mancato utilizzo.
► In estate e in inverno le temperature all'interno
della vettura potrebbero raggiungere valori
estremi. Pertanto, al fi ne di evitare che l'apparecchio si danneggi, non conservarlo nella
vettura.

♦ Pulire l'apparecchio con un panno morbido e

asciutto.
♦ Conservare l'apparecchio in un luogo asciutto,
protetto dalla polvere e privo di irradiazione
solare diretta.
Smaltimento
Non smaltire per alcun motivo l'appa-
recchio assieme ai normali rifi uti
domestici. Questo prodotto è soggetto
alla Direttiva europea 2012/19/EURAEE (Rifi uti da apparecchiature
elettriche ed elettroniche).
Smaltire l'apparecchio attraverso un'azienda di smaltimento autorizzata o l'ente di smaltimento comunale.
Rispettare le norme attualmente in vigore. In caso di
dubbi mettersi in contatto con l'ente di smaltimento
competente.

disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself

Intended use
The vehicle air cleaner is only intended for air cleaning
in privately-used vehicles. Any other use is considered to
be improper, and can result in damage and injuries.
Claims of any kind for damage resulting from improper
use or unauthorised modifi cations will not be considered. This product is for private use only, and is not
intended for commercial use.

Safety instructions
■ Check the device for any visible external damage
before use. Do not use an device that has been
damaged or dropped.
■ Protect the device from penetration by moisture
and liquids.
■ Never subject the device to extreme heat or hu-
midity. This applies especially when storing in a
car. Extreme temperatures can occur in car interiors
and glove compartments during long periods of
immobilisation. Remove electrical and electronic
devices from the vehicle.

have been told how to use the device safely and

maintenance tasks may not be carried out by
children unless they are supervised.

items are missing or damaged due to defective
packaging or transportation, please contact the
Service Hotline (see chapter "Service").
Remove all parts from the packaging, and then remove
all packaging material from the device.

Handling and operation
♦ Insert the vehicle plug 1 into the 12V power
socket of your car. As a rule this is the cigarette
lighter socket in the dashboard of your vehicle.
NOTE
The main unit with the ventilation slots 3 can be
continuously rotated through 90°. The ventilation
slots 3 must be free and should be pointing
towards the middle of the vehicle interior.
♦ Rotate the main unit with the ventilation slots 3
into the required position.

♦ Switch the device on by sliding the On/Off switch 4
to the “ON” position. The indicator lamp 2 illumi-
nates and signals that the vehicle air cleaner is
operating. Depending on the vehicle type it is possible that the ignition has to be switched on fi rst.
♦ To switch the device off , set the On/Off switch 4
to the “OFF” position. The indicator lamp 2 goes
out.
CAUTION
The device also consumes power in standby
►
mode and therefore must be disconnected from
the on-board power supply after use! Otherwise
the battery will discharge when the engine is
not running.

Functionality and eff ect of the vehicle
air cleaner
The device continuously emits negative ions during
operation. The negative ions the attach themselves to
pollutants, bacteria and germs and make them harmless by means of their electrical charge. Both scientifi c
investigations and practical experience have shown
show that enriching the air with negative ions has a
positive eff ect on human capabilities.
Maintenance
Replacing the fuse
There is a fuse in the 12 V vehicle air cleaner for
protecting the vehicle’s on-board power supply. If the
device no longer works, check the fuse and replace if
necessary.
♦ Firstly, disconnect the device from the 12 V con-
nection.

♦ Open the 12 V vehicle air cleaner by carefully
unscrewing the fl uted screw insert anticlockwise
(using pliers if necessary) and removing it.
♦ Remove the plug tip from the fuse and take out the
fuse.
♦ Now insert a new fuse of type F1AL 250 V into
the 12 V vehicle connector, fi t the plug tip to the
slightly protruding end of the fuse and screw the
previously removed screw insert back in.
NOTE
If the device still does not work or the fuse blows
again immediately, the device is defective. In this
case, please contact the Service Hotline (see
chapter "Service").

Cleaning and storage
CAUTION
Disconnect the device before cleaning and

when not in use from the 12 V connection to
avoid the risk of an electric shock.
► The temperatures inside a vehicle can reach
extreme values in summer and winter. Damage
should therefore be avoided by not storing the
device in the vehicle.
♦ Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth.
♦ Store the device in a location that is clean, dry,
dust-free and not in direct sunlight.

Disposal
Under no circumstances must the device
be disposed of in the normal domestic
waste. This product is subject to the provisions of the European 2012/19/EU
WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the device via an approved disposal company or your municipal waste facility. Please observe
the currently applicable regulations. Please contact
your waste disposal centre if you are in any doubt.
Dispose of all packaging materials in an
environmentally friendly manner.

Sicherheitshinweise

Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten.
■ Setzen Sie das Gerät nie extremer Hitze oder
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit aus. Dies gilt insbesondere
für eine Lagerung im Auto. Bei längeren Standzeiten entstehen extreme Temperaturen in Innenraum
und Handschuhfach. Entfernen Sie elektrische und
elektronische Geräte aus dem Fahrzeug.
■ Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und
darüber sowie von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten
oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt
werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich
des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen

Bedienung und Betrieb
♦ Stecken Sie den KFZ-Stecker 1 in den 12V-
Anschluss Ihres Fahrzeuges. Dies ist in der Regel
der Zigarettenanzünder im Armaturenbrett Ihres

HINWEIS
Die Haupteinheit mit den Luftaustauschöff nungen
3 kann bis zu 90° stufenlos verstellt werden. Die
Luftaustauschöff nungen 3 müssen frei sein und
sollten zur Mitte des Fahrzeugraums zeigen.
♦ Stellen Sie die Haupteinheit mit den Luftaustausch-
öff nungen 3 in die gewünschte Position.
♦ Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie den Ein-/
Ausschalter 4 auf „ON“ schieben. Die Kontrollleuchte 2 leuchtet auf und signalisiert den Betrieb
des KFZ-Luftreinigers. Je nach Fahrzeugtyp muss
evtl. vorher die Zündung eingeschaltet werden.

♦ Schieben Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 4 auf „OFF“,
um das Gerät auszuschalten. Die Kontrollleuchte 2
erlischt.
ACHTUNG
Das Gerät nimmt auch im Ruhezustand Strom

auf und muss daher nach der Nutzung von
der Bordstromversorgung getrennt werden! Bei
nicht eingeschaltetem Motor wird ansonsten die
Batterie entladen.
Funktion und Wirkung des
KFZ-Luftreinigers
Das Gerät stößt während des Betriebs laufend negative Ionen aus. Die negativen Ionen hängen sich an
Schadstoff e, Bakterien und Keime und machen diese
mit ihrer elektrischen Aufl adung unschädlich. Wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen und die Praxis zeigen, dass
die Anreicherung der Luft mit negativen Ionen sich positiv auf das menschliche Leistungsvermögen auswirkt.

Wartung
Sicherung wechseln
Im KFZ-Luftreiniger befi ndet sich eine Sicherung, um
das Bordnetz des Fahrzeugs zu schützen. Sollte das
Gerät nicht mehr funktionieren, überprüfen bzw.
wechseln Sie die Sicherung.

♦ Entfernen Sie zunächst das Gerät aus dem 12 V
Anschluss.
♦ Öff nen Sie den KFZ-Luftreiniger, indem Sie den
geriff elten Schraubeinsatz ggf. mit einer Zange
vorsichtig gegen den Uhrzeigersinn aufdrehen und
abnehmen.
♦ Nehmen Sie die Steckerspitze von der Sicherung
ab und holen Sie die Sicherung heraus.
♦ Setzen Sie nun eine neue Sicherung vom Typ F1AL
250 V in den 12 V Kfz-Stecker ein, setzen die
Steckerspitze auf das leicht herausragende Ende
der Sicherung auf und drehen den zuvor herausgenommenen Schraubeinsatz wieder ein.

HINWEIS
Funktioniert das Gerät weiterhin nicht, oder brennt
die neue Sicherung auch gleich wieder durch,
liegt ein Gerätedefekt vor. Wenden Sie sich dann
an die Service-Hotline (siehe Kapitel „Service“).
Reinigung und Lagerung
ACHTUNG
Trennen Sie das Gerät vor dem Reinigen und

bei Nichtgebrauch vom 12 V Anschluss, um das
Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages zu vermeiden.
► Die Temperaturen im Fahrzeuginnenraum kön-
nen im Sommer und Winter extreme Werte
erreichen. Lagern Sie das Gerät deshalb nicht
im Fahrzeug, um Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.
