del presente prodotto. Esso contiene importanti indicazioni sulla sicurezza, l'uso e
lo smaltimento. Prima di utilizzare il prodotto, acquisire dimestichezza con tutte le
indicazioni relative ai comandi e alla sicurezza. Utilizzare il prodotto solo come
descritto e per le applicazioni indicate. Conservare con cura il presente manuale

Indicazioni sulla sicurezza
PERICOLO DI FOLGORAZIONE!
► Assicurarsi che la base con i collegamenti elettrici non venga
mai a contatto con l'acqua! Se la base si bagnasse accidentalmente, farla asciugare completamente prima di rimetterla
in funzione.
► Utilizzare l'apparecchio solo con la base acclusa.
► Impedire che il cavo di rete si bagni o si inumidisca durante
l'uso dell'apparecchio. Condurlo in modo tale da impedire
che si incastri o danneggi in altro modo.
► Al fine di evitare pericoli, fare sostituire immediatamente
spine o cavi danneggiati da personale specializzato autorizzato o dal centro di assistenza clienti.
► Per scollegare completamente l'apparecchio dalla rete elet-
trica, è necessario staccare la spina dalla presa. Collocare
quindi l'apparecchio in modo da garantire costantemente
l'accesso libero alla presa di corrente, al fine di poter staccare
la spina in situazioni di emergenza.
► Prima dell'uso, controllare l'apparecchio per rilevare even-
tuali danni esterni visibili. Non mettere in funzione un apparecchio danneggiato o caduto.
► Fare eseguire le riparazioni solo da aziende specializzate o
dall'assistenza ai clienti. Riparazioni non conformi possono
causare gravi pericoli per l'utente, In tal caso, la garanzia
decade.
► Impedire il contatto di liquidi in fuoriuscita con la connessione
a spina.
Non immergere mai l'apparecchio in acqua o altri

liquidi! Può sussistere pericolo di morte per folgorazione
se i resti di liquido entrano in contatto con le parti sotto
tensione dell'apparecchio in funzione.

AVVERTENZA - PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Riscaldare l'acqua sempre e solo con il coperchio chiuso,
altrimenti il meccanismo di spegnimento automatico non
funzionerà. L'acqua in fase di ebollizione potrebbe fuoriuscire
dai bordi.
► Possono verificarsi perdite di vapore bollente. Inoltre, il
recipiente si surriscalda durante l'uso. Si consiglia quindi di
utilizzare presine idonee.
► Assicurarsi che l'apparecchio sia posizionato stabilmente e
in verticale prima di accenderlo. L'acqua in fase di ebollizione potrebbe far cadere un apparecchio posizionato in
modo instabile.
► Non aprire il coperchio mentre l'acqua bolle.
► Gli apparecchi possono essere utilizzati da persone con
capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali ridotte o insufficiente
esperienza o conoscenza solo se sorvegliate o istruite sull'uso
sicuro dell'apparecchio e qualora ne abbiano compreso i
pericoli associati.
► Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato dai bambini di
almeno 8 anni di età solo se sorvegliati o istruiti sull'uso
sicuro dell'apparecchio e qualora ne abbiano compreso
i pericoli associati. La pulizia e la manutenzione a cura
dell'utente non devono essere eseguite da bambini, a meno
che non abbiano almeno 8 anni di età e siano sorvegliati.
Tenere lontani dall'apparecchio e dal cavo di allacciamento
i bambini di età inferiore agli 8 anni.
► I bambini non devono giocare con l'apparecchio.
► Riempire l'apparecchio al massimo fino al segno MAX!
Altrimenti vi è pericolo che l'acqua trabocchi.
► Azionare l'apparecchio sempre con l'inserto del filtro antical-
care inserito.

ancora del calore residuo.
► In caso di uso errato dell'apparecchio sussiste il pericolo di
lesioni. Utilizzare sempre l'apparecchio in modo conforme
alla destinazione!
ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI!
► Non utilizzare timer esterni o un sistema di telecomando
separato per azionare l'apparecchio.
► Non lasciare mai l'apparecchio incustodito durante l'uso.
► Assicurarsi che l'apparecchio, il cavo di rete o la spina non
vengano mai a contatto con sorgenti di calore come piastre
di cottura o fiamme libere.

Messa in funzione
Dotazione e ispezione per eventuali danni da trasporto
La fornitura standard dell'apparecchio comprende i seguenti componenti:

NOTA
► Controllare se la fornitura è integra e se presenta danni visibili.
► In caso di fornitura incompleta o in presenza di danni da trasporto o da im-
ballaggio inadeguato, rivolgersi all'assistenza (vedere capitolo "Assistenza").
♦ Rimuovere dal cartone tutte le parti dell'apparecchio e il manuale di istruzioni.
♦ Rimuovere tutto il materiale di imballaggio dall'apparecchio.
PERICOLO DI MORTE!
► Il materiale di imballaggio non deve essere utilizzato dai bambini come
giocattolo. Sussiste il pericolo di soffocamento.
Smaltimento dell'imballaggio
L'imballaggio protegge l'apparecchio contro i danni da trasporto. I materiali di
imballaggio sono stati selezionati in relazione alla loro ecocompatibilità e alle
caratteristiche di smaltimento, pertanto sono riciclabili.
Il riciclo dell'imballaggio consente di risparmiare materie prime e riduce la
generazione di rifiuti. Smaltire il materiale di imballaggio inutilizzato in
conformità con le normative locali vigenti.

► Durante il periodo di validità della garanzia, conservare l'imballaggio
originale per poter imballare adeguatamente l'apparecchio in caso di

Avvolgicavo
Sul lato inferiore della base si trova un avvolgicavo . Con l'avvolgicavo
si può adattare la lunghezza del cavo di rete alle circostanze locali.
ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI!
► Al fine di garantire una posizione stabile, assicurarsi che il cavo di rete
venga sempre fatto passare attraverso l'apposito incavo sul retro della
base

► Avvolgere il cavo di rete sempre in senso orario attorno all'avvolgicavo
. Solo così è possibile ridurre al massimo la lunghezza del cavo e far passare
il cavo di rete attraverso l'incavo che si trova sulla base

Tastierino dei comandi
Il tastierino dei comandi è costituito dai seguenti componenti:
Display: visualizzazione della temperatura
Tasti freccia ▲ ▼ : aumento/riduzione della temperatura desiderata
Tasto : accensione/spegnimento dell'apparecchio, avvio/
interruzione del processo di riscaldamento
Tasto : attivazione/disattivazione della funzione di
mantenimento in caldo

ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI!
► Prima della connessione dell'apparecchio, confrontare i dati di connessione
dell'apparecchio (tensione e frequenza) riportati sulla targhetta dell'apparecchio con quelli della propria rete elettrica. Questi dati devono corrispondere per evitare di arrecare danni all'apparecchio.
♦ Svolgere il cavo dall'avvolgicavo
♦ Far passare il cavo di rete attraverso l'incavo della sezione posteriore della

Prima del primo impiego
Prima di mettere in funzione l'apparecchio, accertarsi che l'apparecchio, la spina
e il cavo di rete siano in condizioni perfette e che tutti i materiali da imballo
siano rimossi dall'apparecchio.
Prima di preparare per la prima volta l'acqua da servire, occorre innanzitutto

► Utilizzare sempre acqua potabile pulita. Non consumare l'acqua che si
trova già da oltre un'ora nell'apparecchio. Non bollire nuovamente l'acqua
già bollita e raffreddata. Gettare sempre via l'acqua vecchia.

ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI!
► Non introdurre zucchero o altri alimenti nell'apparecchio. Non riscaldare
nell'apparecchio latte, alcol o altri liquidi. Ciò causerebbe danni irreparabili
all'apparecchio.
NOTA
► Questo apparecchio è provvisto di un dispositivo di protezione dal surri-
scaldamento. Se l'apparecchio viene acceso inavvertitamente in assenza di
acqua nel bricco
, esso si spegne automaticamente.

Bollitura dell'acqua
♦ Togliere il bricco dalla base per riempirlo d'acqua.
♦ Aprire il coperchio
♦ Versare acqua nel bricco badando a non superare la marcatura MAX,
in modo che l'acqua durante la bollitura non trasbordi. Durante il riempi-
mento, mantenere il bricco
possibile leggere correttamente la scala graduata .
♦ Chiudere il coperchio

♦ Collocare il bricco
♦ Inserire la spina in una presa di corrente. Il tasto si accende e sul
display viene visualizzata la temperatura attuale dell'acqua contenuta.
♦ Per avviare il processo di riscaldamento premere il tasto . Il display

Riscaldamento dell'acqua alla temperatura desiderata
L'apparecchio dispone della possibilità di impostare una temperatura di riferimento. Si può impostare la temperatura desiderata in un intervallo compreso fra
40 °C e 100 °C in passi da 5 °C.

modificare la temperatura mentre il processo di riscaldamento è in corso.
♦ Non appena l'acqua ha raggiunto la temperatura impostata, viene emesso
un segnale acustico e il processo di riscaldamento si ferma. Il display
tutti i tasti si spengono dopo circa 30 secondi.

Funzione di mantenimento in caldo
La funzione di mantenimento in caldo consente di mantenere l'acqua a una
determinata temperatura per un periodo prolungato. Non appena la temperatura dell'acqua contenuta nel bricco
l'apparecchio riprende automaticamente a scaldare riportandola alla temperatura desiderata.
La funzione di mantenimento in caldo può venire impostata per temperature
comprese tra 40 °C e 90 °C in passi da 5 °C:
♦ Quando l'apparecchio è attivo, premere il tasto
impostare la temperatura desiderata. Durante il processo di riscaldamento il
display lampeggia, il tasto e il tasto
♦ Una volta raggiunta la temperatura impostata, viene emesso un segnale
acustico e il display cessa di lampeggiare. La temperatura viene mantenuta
costante.
NOTA
► Se l'acqua è già alla temperatura desiderata o è addirittura più calda
segnale acustico viene emesso immediatamente. La temperatura impostata
viene mantenuta costante.
► La funzione di mantenimento in caldo è attiva per 2 ore. Poi l'apparecchio
si spegne automaticamente.
► Se si toglie il bricco
in caldo è attiva, la funzione di mantenimento in caldo viene interrotta. Il
display e tutti i tasti si spengono.
♦ Per disattivare manualmente la funzione di mantenimento in caldo, premere
il tasto

Protezione dal surriscaldamento
In caso di surriscaldamento, la protezione dal surriscaldamento disattiva
l'elemento riscaldante all'interno dell'apparecchio. La protezione dal surriscaldamento si attiva quando il bricco
nulla e ciononostante l'apparecchio si accende. Se la protezione dal surriscaldamento ha disattivato l'elemento riscaldante, fare raff reddare l'apparecchio prima
di utilizzarlo.

Pulizia
Pulizia dell'apparecchio
PERICOLO DI FOLGORAZIONE!
► Prima di cominciare con la pulizia, staccare sempre la spina dalla presa.
Non immergere mai l'apparecchio in acqua o altri liquidi! Sussiste il

pericolo di scossa elettrica! L'apparecchio potrebbe danneggiarsi
irreparabilmente.
AVVERTENZA - PERICOLO DI USTIONI!
► Fare raffreddare l'apparecchio prima della pulizia.
ATTENZIONE - DANNI MATERIALI!
► Non utilizzare detergenti abrasivi o corrosivi. Essi possono attaccare la
superficie e danneggiare irreparabilmente l'apparecchio.
♦ Pulire tutte le superfici esterne e il cavo di rete con un panno leggermente
inumidito. Prima di riutilizzare l'apparecchio, asciugarlo bene in ogni caso.
In caso di sporco ostinato, versare un po' di detersivo delicato sul panno.
Assicurarsi che non si trovino residui di detersivo sull'apparecchio e al suo
interno prima di riutilizzarlo.
♦ Pulire l'interno del bricco

♦ Se all'interno del bricco
interne con un panno umido o usare uno spazzolino di pulizia o per
bottiglie. Lavare poi il bricco

Decalcificazione dell'apparecchio
I depositi di calcare nell'apparecchio provocano sprechi di energia e compromettono la durata dell'apparecchio. Decalcificare l'apparecchio non appena si

■ Acquistare in un negozio di articoli per la casa un decalcificante adatto
ai contenitori per alimenti (ades. disincrostanti per macchine da caffè).
Procedere come descritto nelle istruzioni del decalcificante.
■ Dopo la decalcificazione, risciacquare l'apparecchio con abbondante
acqua corrente.

Rimozione / inserimento dell'inserto filtro anticalcare
Nel beccuccio del bollitore si trova un inserto filtro anticalcare che nel corso
del tempo si potrebbe ricoprire di particelle o calcare. La rimozione dell'inserto
filtro anticalcare
♦ Aprire il coperchio
♦ Afferrare l'inserto filtro anticalcare
mente all'indietro e verso l'alto.
♦ Pulire l'inserto filtro anticalcare con un panno leggermente inumidito,
tenendolo sotto l'acqua corrente.
♦ Dopo la pulizia reinserire l'inserto filtro anticalcare nelle apposite guide
del supporto del filtro anticalcare e premerlo con cautela verso il basso fino
a quando non si innesta udibilmente in posizione.
NOTA
► Qualora nell'inserto filtro anticalcare
calcare, immergerlo per qualche ora in una soluzione di acqua e aceto in
un rapporto di 6:1. Le incrostazioni di calcare si dissolveranno. Risciacquare
l'inserto del filtro anticalcare
► Si può rimuovere il supporto del filtro anticalcare anche premendo nel bec-
cuccio dal davanti sul nasello superiore di sostegno e sfilando il supporto del
filtro anticalcare all'indietro. Per reinserire il supporto del filtro anticalcare,
infilare il nasello inferiore sul bordo, premere leggermente verso il basso il
nasello superiore e farlo innestare in posizione.

Smaltimento
Il simbolo del bidone della spazzatura barrato, raffigurato a lato, indica che
l'apparecchio è soggetto alla direttiva 2012/19/EU.
Tale direttiva prevede che l'apparecchio non venga smaltito assieme ai normali
rifiuti domestici al termine della sua vita utile, bensì venga obbligatoriamente conferito ad appositi punti di raccolta, centri di riciclaggio o aziende di smaltimento.
Lo smaltimento è gratuito per l'utente. Rispettare l'ambiente e
smaltire l'apparecchio conformemente.
Per ulteriori informazioni rivolgersi alla propria azienda di smaltimento locale o
all'amministrazione cittadina o comunale.

Periodo di garanzia e diritti legali di rivendicazione di vizi
Il periodo di garanzia non viene prolungato da interventi in garanzia. Ciò vale
anche per le parti sostituite e riparate. Danni e vizi eventualmente già presenti
al momento dell’acquisto devono venire segnalati immediatamente dopo che
l’apparecchio è stato disimballato. Le riparazioni eseguite dopo la scadenza del
periodo di garanzia sono a pagamento.
Ambito della garanzia
L’apparecchio è stato prodotto con cura secondo severe direttive qualitative e
debitamente collaudato prima della consegna.
La garanzia viene prestata in caso di vizi del materiale o di fabbricazione.
Questa garanzia non si estende a componenti del prodotto che sono esposti al
normale logorio e possono pertanto essere considerati come componenti soggetti
a usura o a danni che si verificano su componenti delicati, per es. interruttori, batterie,
stampi da forno o parti realizzate in vetro.
Questa garanzia decade se il prodotto è stato danneggiato oppure utilizzato o
sottoposto a interventi di manutenzione in modo non conforme. Per un utilizzo
adeguato del prodotto si devono rigorosamente rispettare tutte le istruzioni esposte
nel manuale di istruzioni per l’uso. Si devono assolutamente evitare modalità di
utilizzo e azioni che il manuale di istruzioni per l’uso sconsiglia o da cui esso mette
in guardia.
Il prodotto è destinato esclusivamente all’uso domestico e non a quello commerciale. La garanzia decade in caso di impiego improprio o manomissione, uso
della forza e interventi non eseguiti dalla nostra filiale di assistenza autorizzata.

■ Tenga a portata di mano per qualsiasi richiesta lo scontrino di cassa e il
codice dell’articolo (per es. IAN 12345) come prova di acquisto.
■ Il codice dell’articolo è indicato sulla targhetta di modello, su un’incisione,
sul frontespizio del manuale di istruzioni per l’uso (in basso a sinistro) o
come adesivo sul lato posteriore o inferiore.
■ Qualora si presentassero malfunzionamenti o altri tipi di vizi, contatti
innanzitutto il reparto assistenza clienti qui di seguito indicato telefonica-
mente o via e-mail.
■ Una volta che il prodotto è stato registrato come difettoso, lo può poi
spedire a nostro carico, provvedendo ad allegare la prova di acquisto

Instruções de segurança
PERIGO - CHOQUE ELÉTRICO!
► Certifique-se de que a base, com as ligações elétricas, nunca
entra em contacto com água! Deixe a base secar totalmente,
caso tenha ficado húmida acidentalmente.
► Utilize o aparelho apenas com a base fornecida.
► Certifique-se de que, durante o funcionamento, o cabo de
alimentação nunca fica molhado ou húmido. Coloque o
cabo de modo que não possa ficar entalado nem ser danificado de outra forma.
► Cabos ou fichas danificados devem ser imediatamente subs-
tituídos por técnicos autorizados ou pelo Serviço de Apoio
ao Cliente, de modo a evitar situações de perigo.
► Para desligar o aparelho totalmente da corrente elétrica,
a ficha tem de ser retirada da tomada. Por esta razão, o
aparelho deve ser instalado de modo a permitir sempre um
acesso fácil à tomada para que, em situações de emergência, a ficha possa ser imediatamente retirada.
► Antes da utilização, verifique a existência de eventuais
danos exteriores visíveis no aparelho. Não tente colocar em
funcionamento um aparelho avariado ou que tenha sofrido
uma queda.
► Solicite as reparações do aparelho apenas a empresas auto-
rizadas ou ao Serviço de Assistência Técnica. Reparações
inadequadas podem acarretar perigos para o utilizador.
Além disso, a garantia extingue-se.
► Não podem transbordar líquidos para a ligação de encaixe
do aparelho.
► Nunca mergulhe o aparelho em água ou noutros líquidos!

► Aqueça a água sempre com a tampa fechada, caso contrá-
rio o dispositivo de desativação automática não funciona.
A água a ferver pode transbordar.
► Pode ser libertado vapor quente. Além disso, o bule fica
muito quente durante o funcionamento. Por esta razão, use
luvas de cozinha.
► Antes de ligar o aparelho, certifique-se de que este se encon-
tra numa posição estável e na vertical. Se o aparelho não
assentar corretamente, a água a ferver pode fazê-lo cair.
► Não abra a tampa enquanto a água estiver a ferver.
► Os aparelhos podem ser utilizados por pessoas com capa-
cidades físicas, sensoriais ou mentais reduzidas, bem como
com falta de experiência e/ou conhecimento, caso sejam
vigiadas ou instruídas sobre a utilização segura do aparelho
e tenham compreendido os perigos daí resultantes.
► Este aparelho pode ser utilizado por crianças com idades
superiores a 8anos, caso sejam vigiadas ou instruídas sobre

Eliminação da embalagem

A reciclagem da embalagem permite a poupança de matérias-primas e reduz a
formação de lixo. Elimine os materiais de embalagem que já não são necessários

sua corrente elétrica. Estes dados têm de corresponder, para que não

Função manter quente
A função manter quente permite manter a água aquecida, a uma determinada
temperatura, durante um longo período de tempo. Assim que a temperatura da
água no jarro

A função manter quente pode ser regulada para temperaturas entre 40 °C e
90 °C, em intervalos de 5 °C:

♦ Limpe todas as superfícies exteriores e o cabo de alimentação com um
pano da loiça ligeiramente humedecido. Seque sempre muito bem o
aparelho antes de o utilizar novamente. Em caso de sujidade entranhada,
aplique um detergente da loiça suave no pano. Certifique-se de que não
se encontram quaisquer resíduos de detergente no aparelho, antes de o
colocar em funcionamento.
♦ Lave o interior do jarro com detergente da loiça e enxague o jarro
com água limpa.
♦ Em caso de depósitos no jarro

As acumulações de calcário no aparelho levam a perdas de energia e condicionam a durabilidade do aparelho. Descalcifique o aparelho logo que seja

uma loja de produtos domésticos (p.ex. descalcificador para máquinas de
café). Proceda tal como descrito nas instruções do descalcificador.
■ Depois de retirar o calcário, lave o aparelho muito bem com muita água

Prazo de garantia e direitos legais

também se aplica a peças substituídas e reparadas. Danos e defeitos que possam

this product. They contain important information about safety, usage and disposal.
Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all operating and safety

Safety information
DANGER – RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
► Ensure that the base containing the electrical connections
never comes into contact with water! Allow the base to dry
completely if it accidentally becomes wet.
► Use the appliance only with the supplied base.
► Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet or damp
when the appliance is in use. Route the cable so that it cannot be trapped or damaged in any way.
► Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be
replaced as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by
our Customer Service Department to avoid the risk of injury.
► To disconnect the appliance completely from the mains power,
the power plug must be removed from the mains socket. The
appliance should be set up in such a way that you have unrestricted access to the mains socket at all times, and can pull
out the plug immediately in an emergency.
► Check the appliance for visible external damage before use.
Do not operate an appliance that has been damaged or
dropped.
► All repairs on the appliance must be carried out by autho-
rised specialist companies or Customer Service. Improper
repairs may put the user at risk. It will also invalidate any
warranty claims.
► Do not allow any liquid to run over the appliance’s plug
connections.
► Never immerse the appliance under water or any other
liquids! There is a risk of fatal electric shock if residual
liquids come into contact with live components during
operation.

► Keep lid closed when boiling water, otherwise the automatic
switch-off cannot work. Boiling water could then splash out
over the rim.
► Bursts of hot steam may be released. The jug also becomes
extremely hot during use. It is therefore always best to wear
oven mitts when handling the jug.
► Ensure that the appliance is stable and vertical before
switching it on. Boiling water can cause the appliance to
fall over if it is not set up stably.
► Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.
► Appliances may be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or a lack of experience and/
or knowledge only if they are supervised or have been
instructed how to use the appliance safely and have understood the potential risks.
► This appliance may be used by children aged 8years or
over, if they are supervised or have been told how to use
the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks.
Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be carried
out by children unless they are aged 8 years or over and are
supervised. The appliance and its connecting cable must be
kept away from children younger than 8 years old.
► Children must not play with the appliance.
► Fill the appliance only up to the MAX mark. Otherwise,
boiling water may spill out!
► Do not operate the appliance without the scale filter insert.

Disposal of packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The packaging materials have been selected for aspects of environmental friendliness and
disposal, and they are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials
that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
NOTE
► If possible, keep the appliance's original packaging during the warranty
period so that the appliance can be packed properly for return shipment
in the event of a warranty claim.

► Before connecting the appliance, compare the connection data of the
appliance (voltage and frequency) on the rating plate with that of your
electrical supply. This data must correspond in order to prevent damage to
the appliance.

Heating the water to a specific temperature
The appliance has a setting allowing you to specify your desired water temperature. You can set the target temperature between 40°C and 100°C in 5°C

Keep-warm function
The keep-warm function allows you to keep heated water at a specifi c temperature for an extended period of time. As soon as the water temperature in the jug
sinks below the set temperature, the appliance will automatically heat it to that
temperature again.
You can set the keep-warm function for temperatures between 40°C and 90°C
in 5°C stages:

Cleaning the appliance

cloth. Always dry the appliance properly before using it again. For stubborn
soiling, use a mild detergent on the cloth. Ensure that there is no detergent
residue on or in the appliance before using it again.
♦ Clean the inside of the jug with washing-up liquid, then rinse the jug
with clear water.
♦ If there are any deposits in the jug

Descaling the appliance
Scale deposits in the appliance lead to increased energy consumption and
reduce the service life of the appliance. Descale the appliance as soon as scale
deposits become apparent.
■ Use a descaling agent that is suitable for food containers from a household
goods shop (e.g. coffee machines). Proceed as described in the usage
instructions for the descaling agent.
■ After descaling, rinse the appliance out with plenty of fresh water.

Inserting/removing the scale filter insert
The spout of the kettle is fitted with a scale filter insert which can become
clogged with particles or scale over time. To clean the scale filter insert
simply remove it from the appliance.
♦ Open the lid
♦ Grip the scale filter insert
toward the rear.
♦ Clean the scale filter insert with a slightly moistened dishcloth under
running water.
♦ After cleaning, replace the scale filter insert in the appliance by inserting
it into the guide rails for the scale filter insert and gently pushing it down
until it clicks into place.
NOTE
► If scale deposits have solidified in the scale filter insert
a water-vinegar solution with a ratio of 6:1 for a few hours. The scale deposits will dissolve. Rinse the scale filter insert

upper retaining collar in the pouring opening from the front and pulling

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product
has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights
are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep
your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of
purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion.
This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance
and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault
and its time of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or
replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty.
This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects
present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking.
Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not
extend to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as
switches, batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used
or improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions
that are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against
must be avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use
of force and modifications / repairs which have not been carried out by one of
our authorised Service centres.

andernfalls funktioniert die Abschaltautomatik nicht. Kochendes Wasser kann dann über den Rand herausspritzen.
► Es können heiße Dampfschwaden entweichen. Die Kanne ist zu-
dem im Betrieb sehr heiß. Tragen Sie daher Topf-Handschuhe.
► Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät stabil und senkrecht steht,

Die Warmhaltefunktion ermöglicht es Ihnen, erhitztes Wasser über längere Zeit auf

Kalkfiltereinsatz entnehmen / einsetzen
An der Ausgießöffnung des Wasserkochers befindet sich ein Kalkfiltereinsatz ,
der sich im Laufe der Zeit mit Partikeln oder Kalk zusetzen kann. Die Entnahme
des Kalkfiltereinsatzes
♦ Öffnen Sie den Deckel
♦ Greifen Sie den Kalkfiltereinsatz
schräg hinten und oben heraus.
♦ Reinigen Sie den Kalkfiltereinsatz mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Spül-
tuch und unter fließendem Wasser.
♦ Setzen Sie nach dem Reinigen den Kalkfiltereinsatz wieder in die vorge-
sehenen Führungsschienen der Kalkfilterhalterung ein und drücken Sie ihn
vorsichtig hinunter, bis er spürbar einrastet.
HINWEIS
► Sollten sich Kalkrückstände im Kalkfiltereinsatz

von 6:1. Die Kalkrückstände lösen sich. Spülen Sie den Kalkfiltereinsatz

Die Garantiezeit wird durch die Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch
für ersetzte und reparierte Teile. Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden
und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken gemeldet werden. Nach Ablauf
der Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind kostenpflichtig.
Garantieumfang
Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor
Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie
erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und
daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen
an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile, die aus
Glas gefertigt sind.
Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt
oder gewartet wurde. Für eine sachgemäße Benutzung des Produkts sind alle
in der Bedienungsanleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen genau einzuhalten.
Verwendungszwecke und Handlungen, von denen in der Bedienungsanleitung
abgeraten oder vor denen gewarnt wird, sind unbedingt zu vermeiden.
Das Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch
bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung und bei Eingriffen, die nicht von unserer autorisierten Service-Niederlassung
vorgenommen wurden, erlischt die Garantie.

Abwicklung im Garantiefall
Um eine schnelle Bearbeitung Ihres Anliegens zu gewährleisten, folgen Sie bitte
den folgenden Hinweisen:
■ Bitte halten Sie für alle Anfragen den Kassenbon und die Artikelnummer (z. B.
IAN 12345) als Nachweis für den Kauf bereit.
■ Die Artikelnummer entnehmen Sie bitte dem Typenschild, einer Gravur, auf
dem Titelblatt Ihrer Anleitung (unten links) oder als Aufkleber auf der Rück-
oder Unterseite.
■ Sollten Funktionsfehler oder sonstige Mängel auftreten, kontaktieren Sie
zunächst die nachfolgend benannte Serviceabteilung telefonisch oder per
E-Mail.
■ Ein als defekt erfasstes Produkt können Sie dann unter Beifügung des Kauf-
belegs (Kassenbon) und der Angabe, worin der Mangel besteht und wann
er aufgetreten ist, für Sie portofrei an die Ihnen mitgeteilte Serviceanschrift
übersenden.
