You have selected a high-quality product. The operating instructions are part of
this product. They contain important information on safety, usage and disposal.
Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all handling and safety guidelines. Use the product only as described and for the range of applications specified.

Intended use
This appliance is intended only for the cleaning of jewellery, spectacles, false
teeth, CDs/DVDs, razor heads, watches and similar items.
Not all items may be cleaned with the appliance (see section Unsuitable for
ultrasonic cleaning). This appliance is intended for domestic use only, it may
not be used for commercial purposes. Do not use the appliance outdoors. This
appliance is not designed for use with an external time switch or any other separate remote control system. Do not clean any objects with scratched surfaces as
existing scratches may be made worse by an ultrasonic treatment. The appliance
is not intended for any other purposes, nor for use beyond the scope described.
No claims of any kind for damage arising as a result of incorrect use will be accepted. The risk shall be borne solely by the user.

Safety
In this section, you will find important safety instructions for using the appliance.
This appliance complies with statutory safety regulations. Improper use may
result in personal injury and property damage.
Risk of electrocution

Contact with live cables or components can result in fatal
injury!
Please observe the following safety guidelines to prevent electrical hazards:
► Do not use the appliance if the power cable or the plug are damaged.
► Before using the appliance again, have a new mains power cable fitted
by an authorised specialist.
► The appliance housing may not be opened under any circumstances. There
is a risk of electric shock if live connections are touched and the electrical
and mechanical structure is changed.
Basic safety guidelines
To ensure safe operation of the appliance, follow the
safety guidelines set out below:
■ Check the appliance for visible external damage before
use. Do not operate an appliance that has been damaged or dropped.

■ If the appliance's mains power cable is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer's
customer service department or by a qualified technician
so that risks can be avoided.
■ This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years
and above and by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, provided that they are under supervision
or have been told how to use the appliance safely and
are aware of the potential risks. Children must not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
tasks may not be carried out by children unless they are
supervised.

This appliance is suitable for indoor use only.
■ Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.
■ Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
■ All repairs must be carried out by authorised specialist
companies or by the Customer Service department.
Improper repairs can pose significant risks to the user.
It will also invalidate any warranty claims.
■ Defective components must always be replaced with
original replacement parts. Only by using original
replacement parts can it be assured that the safety
requirements are being complied with.
■ Protect the appliance from moisture, spray and dripping
water and penetration by liquids. Risk of electric shock!
■ Do not immerse the appliance, the cable or the mains
plug in water and do not use the appliance outdoors.

■ If any liquid enters the appliance, disconnect the mains
plug immediately. Arrange to have the appliance checked
before putting it into operation again after a period of
remission.
■ Do not touch the appliance and the plug with wet hands.
■ Connect the mains plug only to a properly installed, easily
accessible plug socket whose voltage corresponds to
the specifications on the rating plate. The plug socket
must remain easily accessible even following connection.
■ Ensure that the power cable cannot be damaged by
sharp edges or hot spots. Do not wind the power cable
around the appliance.

When using the appliance, ensure that the power cable
is not squeezed or crushed.
■ Before cleaning, maintenance or periods of non-use, dis-
connect the mains adapter from the power socket.
■ Always disconnect the power cable from the mains
power socket by pulling on the plug; never pull on the
cable.
■ Do not touch the appliance and the plug with wet
hands.
Appliance-specific safety instructions
■ The appliance may only be used only on a level, non-
slip surface and never on a soft pad.
■ To prevent an overflow during the cleaning process, the
stainless steel bath should not be filled above the MAX
marking.
■ Always use the basket insert when cleaning small parts
to prevent scratches to the components themselves or the
stainless steel bath. If several items are being cleaned at
the same time, ensure that they do not come into contact with each other in order to prevent scratches.
■ Always use the basket insert when cleaning spectacles
or jewellery. When placing spectacles in the basket
insert, always make sure their lenses face upwards.
■ Rinse your spectacles and jewellery with clear water
after each cleaning.
■ During the cleaning process, do not touch the inner
surface of the stainless steel bath or the cleaning fluid.
Ultrasonic waves can damage your health.
■ Do not clean any objects with scratched surfaces as
existing scratches may be made worse by an ultrasonic
treatment.

■ Never use the appliance without water as this may
damage the appliance.
■ After using the appliance five times in a row without
a break, complete the cleaning process and let it cool
down to room temperature.
■ Place the appliance on a firm, level surface.
■ Do not place the appliance and its accessories on or
in the vicinity of surfaces that are hot or could heat up,
e.g. electric hobs.
Unsuitable for ultrasonic cleaning
Objects unsuitable for ultrasonic cleaning include:
■ Porous or sensitive stones (jewellery) such as emeralds, coral, pearls, mother-of-
pearl, turquoise, opal, malachite, lapis lazuli, tiger’s eye, black onyx, etc.
■ Objects with scratched surfaces, as existing scratches may be made worse by
an ultrasonic treatment.
■ Items made of wood, leather, horn, tortoiseshell or fabrics.
■ Special types of fashion jewellery, such as silver plated costume jewellery.
■ Screws and fittings that are not firmly attached can come loose during the cleaning
process. Clean these items no more than once a month and for only for a short
period (maximum 90 seconds).
■ Do not clean mechanical watches in this appliance. Their accuracy may be
adversely affected.
If you are not sure if a piece of jewellery can be cleaned in this appliance or
whether it might be damaged, ask the retailer from whom you purchased the
item in question.

► Check the package for completeness and for signs of visible damage.
► If any items are missing or damaged as a result of defective packaging or
insufficient care during transportation, contact the Service hotline (see the
section Service).
Disposal of packaging materials
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during transport. The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease
of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and reduces
the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging materials that are no
longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
WARNING
► Packaging materials should not be used as a plaything. Risk of suffocation.
NOTE
► If possible, keep the appliance's original packaging during the warranty
period so that the appliance can be packed properly for return shipment
in the event of a warranty claim.
Before initial use
■ Remove all packaging materials and all transport locks from the appliance.
Electrical connection
To ensure safe and trouble-free operation of the appliance after making the
electrical connection, please observe the following advice:

► Before connecting the appliance, compare the connection data (voltage
and frequency) on the rating plate with that of your mains power supply.
These data must agree so that no damage is sustained by the appliance.
► Ensure that the mains power cable is not damaged and is not running over
hot surfaces and/or sharp edges.
► Ensure that the mains power cable is not taut or knotted.
► Always remove the mains plug from the wall socket after each use.

Handling and operation
This section provides you with important information on handling and using the
appliance.
How ultrasonic cleaning works
The ultrasonic field created in the cleaning fluid during operation generates rapidly
alternately waves with high and low pressure. These waves produce air bubbles
on the surface of the item being cleaned which quickly burst open again. This
process works mechanically on the surfaces of the item and thus loosens dirt and
other residues. It can, however, also deepen already existing scratches.

Filling the appliance with cleaning fluid

The parts to be cleaned must be covered with the cleaning fluid.

► Cold, clean tap water is generally best suited as cleaning fluid. The cleaning
effect can be enhanced by the addition of approximately 3 drops of washing-
up liquid. Do not use caustic cleaners, ammonia, bleach or heavily per-
fumed detergents.
► The cleaning performance is dependent on the amount of water: the more
water, the lower the cleaning performance.
♦ Place the objects to be cleaned in the ultrasonic cleaner. The item to be
cleaned only needs to be covered in water. Use the

as pearls, mother-of-pearl or coral, turquoise, opal, azurite, malachite, tiger’s
eye and similar semi-precious stones. Ask the jeweller who sold you the
jewellery if it is suitable for cleaning with ultrasound and, if applicable,
cleaning additives.
► Screws and fittings that are not firmly attached may come loose during the
cleaning process. Clean such items no more than once a month and for
only for a short period (maximum 90 seconds).
► Do not clean mechanical watches in this appliance.
The accuracy may be adversely affected.
■ The appliance is suitable for the cleaning of gold/silver jewellery and jewellery
made of other metals, such as necklaces, rings, bracelets, as well as metal cutlery,
coins, medals, metallic components, etc.

► The appliance is not suitable for cleaning spectacle frames made of delicate
materials such as horn or tortoiseshell.

Sanitary products/writing materials
■ You can use the ultrasonic cleaner to clean dentures/braces, shaving heads of
electric shavers, razor blades and similar sanitary items. The appliance is also
suitable for cleaning the nibs of fountain pens, ballpoint pen casings and printer
nozzles.
Fill the appliance with jewellery/metal items
♦ Lay the objects to be cleaned in the basket insert 9. It is possible to clean
both an individual item as well as several items simultaneously.

Switching the appliance on and off
Start the cleaning process

Cleaning

■ Never immerse the appliance in water and protect it from splashing or sprayed

■ Clean the housing only with a soft damp cloth and a mild detergent.

This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product
has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are
not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep your
original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion.
This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance and
the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault and its time
of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced
by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a
new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty. This also
applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects present at
the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out
after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not extend
to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as switches,
batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used or
improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that
are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against must be
avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The
warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force
and modifications/repairs which have not been carried out by one of our authorised
Service centres.
Warranty claim procedure
To ensure quick processing of your case, please observe the following instructions:
▯ Please have the till receipt and the item number (e.g. IAN 12345) available as
proof of purchase.
▯ You will find the item number on the type plate, an engraving on the front page of
the instructions (bottom left), or as a sticker on the rear or bottom of the appliance.
▯ If functional or other defects occur, please contact the service department listed
either by telephone or by e-mail.
▯ You can return a defective product to us free of charge to the service address
that will be provided to you. Ensure that you enclose the proof of purchase (till
receipt) and information about what the defect is and when it occurred.

Információk a jelen használati útmutatóhoz
Gratulálunk új készüléke megvásárlásához!
Vásárlásával kiváló minőségű termék mellett döntött. A használati utasítás a termék
része. Fontos tudnivalókat tartalmaz a biztonságra, használatra és ártalmatlanításra vonatkozóan. A termék használata előtt ismerkedjen meg valamennyi
használati útmutatóval és biztonsági figyelmeztetéssel. Csak a leírtak szerint és
a megadott célokra használja a készüléket. A készülék harmadik személynek
történő továbbadása esetén adja át a készülékhez tartozó valamennyi leírást is.

Ez a dokumentáció szerzői jogvédelem alatt áll.
Bármilyen sokszorosítás, ill. utánnyomás akár kivonatos formában, valamint az

A jelen használati útmutató adataiból, ábráiból és leírásaiból semmiféle igény
nem támasztható.
A gyártó nem vállal felelősséget a használati útmutató be nem tartásából, a nem
rendeltetésszerű használatból, szakszerűtlen javítási munkákból, jogosulatlanul
végrehajtott módosításokból vagy a nem engedélyezett alkatrészek használatából
eredő károkért.
Rendeltetésszerű használat
A készülék kizárólag ékszer, szemüveg, műfogsor, CD/DVD, borotvafej, óra stb.
tisztítására használható.
A készülékkel nem minden tárgy tisztítható (lásd az Ultrahangos tisztításra
alkalmatlan tárgyak fejezetet). A készülék csak magáncélra használható,
üzleti felhasználásra nem alkalmas. Ne használja a készüléket a szabadban.
A készülék rendeltetésének megfelelően nem használható külső időkapcsolóval
vagy külön távvezérlő rendszerrel. Ne tisztítson felületi karcokkal rendelkező
tárgyakat, mivel az ultrahangos kezelés mélyebbé teszi ezeket a karcokat.
Más vagy ezen túlmenő használat rendeltetésellenesnek minősül.
Semmilyen, a nem rendeltetésszerű használatból eredő kárigény nem érvényesíthető. A kockázatot egyedül a felhasználó viseli.

Figyelmeztetések
Ebben a használati útmutatóban a következő figyelmeztető jelzéseket használjuk:
VESZÉLY
Ennek a veszélyességi fokozatnak a figyelmeztető jele fenyegető veszélyes helyzetet jelöl.
Halálhoz vagy súlyos sérüléshez vezethet, ha nem kerüli el a veszélyes helyzetet.
► A súlyos, akár halálos személyi sérülések elkerülése érdekében kövesse
a figyelmeztető jelzés szerinti utasításokat.
FIGYELMEZTETÉS
Ennek a veszélyességi fokozatnak a figyelmeztető jelzése
lehetséges veszélyhelyzetet jelöl.
Sérülést okozhat, ha nem tudja elkerülni ezeket a veszélyes helyzeteket.
► A személyi sérülések elkerülése érdekében kövesse a figyelmeztető jelzések
szerinti utasításokat.
FIGYELEM
Ennek a veszélyességi fokozatnak a figyelmeztető jelzése
lehetséges anyagi kárt jelöl.
Anyagi kárt okozhat, ha nem tudja elkerülni ezeket a helyzeteket.

Ebben a fejezetben a készülék kezelésével kapcsolatos fontos biztonsági utasításokat ismerheti meg. A készülék megfelel a biztonsági előírásoknak. A szakszerűtlen használat személyi sérülést és anyagi kárt okozhat.
Elektromos áramütés veszélye
VESZÉLY
Elektromos áramütés veszélye!
A feszültség alatt lévő vezetékek vagy alkatrészek megérintése
életveszélyes!
Tartsa be az alábbi biztonsági utasításokat, hogy elkerülje az elektromos
áramütés veszélyét:
► Ne használja a készüléket, ha a vezeték vagy a csatlakozó meg van
sérülve.
► A készülék további használata előtt szereltessen rá új csatlakozóvezetéket
megfelelő jogosultsággal rendelkező szakemberrel.
► Semmiképpen sem nyissa fel a készülék burkolatát. Áramütés veszélye áll
fenn, ha hozzáér a feszültség alatt álló csatlakozásokhoz, vagy megváltoztatja az elektromos és mechanikus felépítést.
Alapvető biztonsági figyelmeztetések
A készülék biztonságos használata érdekében tartsa be
az alábbi biztonsági utasításokat:
■ Használat előtt ellenőrizze a készüléket, hogy nincs-e
rajta látható sérülés. Ne működtessen hibás vagy leesett
készüléket.
■ Ha a készülék hálózati csatlakozóvezetéke sérült/meg-
sérül, akkor a veszélyek elkerülése érdekében ki kell
cseréltetni a gyártóval, a gyártó vevőszolgálatával vagy
hasonló képesítéssel rendelkező személlyel.
■ A készüléket 8 éves kor feletti gyermekek és csökkent
fizikai, érzékszervi vagy mentális képességű vagy tapasztalattal, illetve tudással nem rendelkező személyek
csak felügyelet mellett használhatják, vagy ha felvilágosították őket a készülék biztonságos használatáról
és megértették az ebből eredő veszélyeket. Gyermekek
nem játszhatnak a készülékkel.
Tisztítást és a felhasználó által végzendő karbantartást
felügyelet nélküli gyermekek nem végezhetnek.

Ez a készülék kizárólag beltéri használatra alkalmas.
■ Ügyeljen a gyermekekre, hogy ne játsszanak a készülékkel.
■ Tárolja a készüléket gyermekektől elzárva.
■ Csak megfelelő jogosultsággal rendelkező szakemberrel
vagy az ügyfélszolgálattal javíttassa a készüléket. A szakszerűtlen javítás jelentős veszélyt jelenthet a felhasználó
számára. Ezenkívül a garancia is érvényét veszti.
■ A hibás alkatrészeket csak eredeti alkatrészekre szabad
cserélni. Csak ilyen alkatrészekkel garantálható, hogy azok
megfelelnek a biztonsági követelményeknek.
■ Védje a készüléket a nedvességtől, fröccsenő és csepegő
víztől és ne engedje, hogy folyadék kerüljön bele. Áramütés
veszélye!
■ A készüléket, a csatlakozókábelt és a hálózati csatlakozó-
dugót soha ne merítse vízbe és ne használja a szabadban.
Áramütés veszélye!
■ Azonnal húzza ki a hálózati csatlakozódugót, ha mégis fo-
lyadék kerülne a készülékbe. Ismételt üzembe helyezés előtt
ellenőriztesse a készüléket.
■ Ne fogja meg nedves kézzel a készüléket és a hálózati
csatlakozódugót.
■ A hálózati csatlakozódugó kizárólag olyan szabályszerűen
beszerelt, könnyen elérhető csatlakozóaljzathoz csatlakoztatható, amelynek feszültsége megfelel a típustáblán feltüntetett feszültségértékkel. A csatlakozóaljzatnak a csatlakoztatást követően is könnyen hozzáférhetőnek kell lennie.
■ Ügyeljen arra, hogy a csatlakozóvezetéket ne sérthesse
meg éles szegély vagy forró felület. Ne tekerje a csatlakozó
vezetéket a készülék köré.

A készülék használata során ügyeljen arra, hogy a csatlakozókábel ne legyen beszorulva vagy összenyomva.
■ Húzza ki a hálózati csatlakozódugót a csatlakozóalj-
zatból minden tisztítás, karbantartás előtt és ha nem
használja a készüléket.
■ A hálózati csatlakozóvezetéket mindig a csatlakozónál,
ne pedig a csatlakozókábelnél fogva húzza ki a csatlakozóaljzatból.
■ Ne fogja meg nedves kézzel a készüléket és a hálózati
csatlakozódugót.
Készülékspecifikus biztonsági utasítások
■ A készülék kizárólag egyenletes és csúszásgátló felületre
állítható és soha nem állítható puha aljzatra.
■ A rozsdamentes acélból készült tálcát csak a MAX-
jelzésig szabad tölteni vízzel, hogy megakadályozza a
túlfolyást a tisztítási folyamat során.
■ Az apró tárgyakhoz minden esetben használjon kosár-
betétet, hogy megakadályozza a tárgyak és a rozsdamentes acélból készült tálca karcolódását. Amennyiben
a tisztítási folyamat során több tárgy van a tisztítófolyadékban, akkor ezek a karcosodás elkerülése érdekében
nem érhetnek egymáshoz!
■ Szemüveg és ékszer tisztításához minden esetben hasz-
nálja a mellékelt kosárbetétet. A szemüveget minden
esetben lencsével felfelé helyezze a kosárbetétbe.
■ A szemüveget és az ékszert minden tisztítás után öblítse
le tiszta vízzel.
■ A tisztítási folyamat során ne érjen a rozsdamentes
acélból készült tálca belső felületéhez és a tisztítófolyadékhoz: Az ultrahang-hullámok egészségkárosodást
okozhatnak.
■ Ne tisztítson felületi karcokkal rendelkező tárgyakat, mivel
az ultrahangos kezelés mélyebbé teszi ezeket a karcokat.

■ A készülék sérülésének elkerülése érdekében soha ne
használja a készüléket víz nélkül.
■ Ha a készüléket ötször egymás után folyamatosan hasz-
nálta, fejezze be a tisztítási folyamatot és hagyja lehűlni
szobahőmérsékletre.
■ Helyezze a készüléket stabil, sima felületre.
■ A készüléket és a tartozékokat soha ne tegye olyan
felületekre vagy azok közelébe, amelyek nagyon forrók
vagy felforrósodhatnak, pl. fűtőfelületek.
Ultrahangos tisztításra alkalmatlan tárgyak
Alapvetően nem alkalmasak ultrahangos tisztításra:
■ lyukacsos vagy érzékeny kövek (ékszer), mint pl. smaragd, korall, gyöngy,
gyöngyház, türkiz, opál, malachit, lápis-lazuli, tigrisszem, fekete ónix, stb.
■ Felületi karcokkal rendelkező tárgyak, mivel az ultrahangos kezelés mélyebbé
teszi ezeket a karcokat.
■ Fából, bőrből, szaruból, teknőcpáncélból vagy textilből készült tárgyak.
■ Különleges divatékszerek, pl. ezüstözött divatékszerek.
■ A tisztítás során csavarok és lazán rögzített veretek leválhatnak. Az ilyen
tárgyakat havonta legfeljebb egyszer és csak rövid ideig tisztítsa (legfeljebb
90 másodperc).
■ Ne tisztítson mechanikus órákat a készülékkel. Hátrányosan befolyásolhatja az
óra pontosságát.
Ha nem biztos benne, hogy az adott ékszer tisztítható-e ebben a készülékben,
illetve hogy a tisztítás során megsérülhet-e, érdeklődjön a kereskedőnél, akinél
a szóban forgó ékszert vásárolta.

TUDNIVALÓ
► Ellenőrizze a csomag tartalmát, hogy hiánytalan-e és nincs-e rajta látható
sérülés.
► Hiányos szállítás vagy a nem megfelelő csomagolásból eredő, illetve a
szállítás során keletkezett károk esetén forduljon az ügyfélszolgálathoz
(lásd a Szerviz fejezetet).
A csomagolás ártalmatlanítása
A csomagolás védi a készüléket a sérülésektől a szállítás során. A csomagolóanyagokat környezetbarát és hulladék ártalmatlanítási szempontok szerint
választottuk ki és ezért újrahasznosíthatók.
Nyersanyagot takarít meg és csökkenti a hulladékmennyiséget, ha a csomagolást
visszajuttatja az anyagkörforgásba. A feleslegessé vált csomagolóanyagokat a
hatályos helyi előírásoknak megfelelően helyezze el a hulladékban.
FIGYELMEZTETÉS
► A csomagolóanyag nem játékszer. Fulladásveszély áll fenn.
TUDNIVALÓ
► Amennyiben lehetséges, őrizze meg az eredeti csomagolást a garancia
ideje alatt, hogy garanciális javítás esetén a készüléket megfelelően vissza
lehessen csomagolni bele.
Az első használat előtt
■ Vegye le a készülékről az összes csomagolóanyagot és szállítási biztosítékot.
Elektromos csatlakoztatás
A készülék biztonságos és hibátlan üzemeltetése érdekében az elektromos
csatlakoztatáskor vegye figyelembe az alábbi tudnivalókat:

FIGYELEM
► A készülék csatlakoztatása előtt hasonlítsa össze az adattáblán lévő
adatokat (feszültség és frekvencia) az Ön villamos hálózatának adataival.
Ezeknek az adatoknak meg kell egyezniük, hogy ne keletkezzen kár a
készülékben.
► Győződjön meg arról, hogy a hálózati csatlakozóvezeték nincs-e megsérülve
és nem helyezték-e forró felületre és/vagy éles szegélyre.
► Ügyeljen arra, hogy a hálózati csatlakozóvezeték ne feszüljön és ne törjön
meg.
► Minden használat után húzza ki a hálózati csatlakozódugót a csatlakozó-
aljzatból.

meg.
Az ultrahangos tisztítás működési elve
A működés közben a tisztítófolyadékban kialakuló ultrahang-mező gyorsan
változó nagy és kis nyomású hullámokat hoz létre. Ezek a hullámok gyorsan
szétpukkanó légbuborékokat hoznak létre a tisztítandó tárgyak felületén. Ez
a folyamat mechanikai úton kezeli a tisztítandó tárgyak felületét és feloldja a
szennyeződést és a megtapadó anyagokat, mélyebbé teheti azonban a már
meglévő karcokat is.
