Safety information
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Connect the appliance only to mains power sockets supplying
a mains power voltage of 220 – 240 V ∼, 50 - 60 Hz.
► Remove the plug from the mains power socket in the event of
operating malfunctions and before you clean the appliance.
► Do not expose the appliance to moisture and do not use it
outdoors.
► If any liquid gets into the housing, disconnect the appliance
from the mains power socket immediately and have it repaired by a qualified technician.
► Always pull on the plug to disconnect the appliance from the
mains; never pull on the power cable itself.
► Do not kink or crush the power cable, and route the cable
so that it cannot be stepped on or tripped over.
► Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be

■ Place the blender 5 onto the motor unit 4 so that the arrow points to the
symbol. Turn the blender 5 until the arrow on the motor block 4 points

Operation

► Do not process foods that are very hot! Splashing contents could scald the
user.
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use the hand blender to prepare solid foods. This will cause irre parable
damage to the appliance!
When you have assembled the hand blender:
1) Insert the plug into the mains power socket.
2) Hold down the switch 2 to process the food at a normal speed. Turn the
speed control 1 towards "Max" to increase the speed. Turn the speed
control 1 towards "Min" to decrease the speed.
3) Hold down the turbo switch 3 to process the food at a high speed.
By pressing the turbo switch 3, the maximum processing speed is immediately
available to you.
4) Once you are finished preparing the food, simply release the pressed
button 2 / turbo switch 3.
NOTE
► If you hear unusual noises during operation, e.g. squeaking or similar,
apply a small amount of neutral cooking oil to the drive shaft of the hand
blender:

Cleaning

1) Remove the power plug from the socket.
2) Remove the blender 5 from the motor unit 4. To do this, rotate the blender 5
